My daughter was treated at High Focus - she had the opportunity to truly analyze her triggers and break down what was going on inside of her that caused her to react in certain ways. She was able to recognize symptoms within herself that would ultimately lead to a harmful behavior - she was able to stop herself from self-harm using the cooping techniques she learnt at High Focus. she has graduated and seems to be doing well in her school since the last 2 months - she knows how to cope better now and her crisis moments are far fewer-when they happen she knows how to cope. Julia was warm yet methodical in her approach - it really helped my daughter.

High Focus is a staple in the tristate area for outpatient programming with many different clinical pathways to choose from for both adults and adolescents. Working in the field I’ve heard nothing but great feedback from patients I’ve referred.

My 16 year daughter received care from High Focus on 2 separate occasions. She loved the staff there and has been doing much better with her issues. She uses the tools that were taught to her on a daily basis. While my daughter was in treatment I thought the updates on her progress along with weekly parental meetings were extremely helpful.

The therapist were nice, but honestly it was a waste of time & I only went there because one person said I had to. I was 17 at the time now 34 going on 35 & was there because I had temper issues at the time. I calmed down, but honestly it was more controlled anger now that I look back.

I did talk about my problems & in general, it was only helpful short term. In the long run I didn't benefit anything from going there.

Overall, I gained a lot of useful coping skills and strategies for reframing my thoughts toward more self-love and acceptance. It definitely helped in my mental health and substance abuse journey. Gianna was a great clinician; she was sympathetic, supportive, and gave good advice. Some of the group sessions were less helpful, but that’s more because many patients did not seem able or interested in sharing and opening up.
I was a little disappointed in the variety of offerings that were advertised but not offered (yoga, pet therapy, etc).
But overall a helpful experience.

High Focus Centers saved my life. They guided me through withdrawals and helped me get clean.

My therapist and case manager, Gianna Tritto, was amazing. She never made me feel foolish for the issues I face every day. She guided me as much as she possibly could.

I would recommend High Focus to anyone who needs help with drugs and alcohol.

This place is not for Rehab people there’s more drugs at this place then at a corner store

I was a patient at High Focus from November 9, 2023 until January 4, 2024. The kindness and professionalism of the clinicians was amazing. Both the individual and group therapy sessions were extremely informative and very helpful. Everyone was very kind and extremely encouraging and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this treatment center. It has truly given me a new lease on life.

Everybody hates care plus and the system. Don't waste your time. Its a trap. They are sick people and only care about themselves and money. They deleted all my 5 star reviews from google.

So I filled out the online form. Weeks past and nothing. I kept calling and calling. I finally get someone. I go for my intake. They tell me it will be a while to get a therapist because there is a shortage. No problem I wait and wait. After a couple months I get a call that they still don't have a therapist but they want me to do group therapy on Monday and Thursday nights. I am a single Mom and I don't have transportation. I also have issues doing group because of a previous bad experience. So since I couldn't do their group therapy they dropped me. I really need help. They should have said that from the beginning not string me along for months and then just drop me. Thanks for making my mental health worse horrible place. Plus the women at the front desk literally peeled my insurance card apart. Just a weird experience overall

I rarely do reviews but I have to review this establishment because the help they are offering me is above and beyond. Everyone from the front staff (Janibel), my case manager (Rebecca), Tina and my therapist (Jennifer Lubanty) have been so wonderful, patient, and caring. I’m having a hard time mentally and financially, but knowing I have a team of caring individuals in charge behind me makes me not only emotional but protected and supported. I would recommend everyone to go to this facility that needs mental health help and a support team. Telehealth goes smoothly, copay goes smoothly, everything is great. Therapy isn’t only thing they offer, they offer support in daily life when depression makes it hard to deal, and a patient and kind manner with their patients. This is optimal patient care and I’m happy I found my therapy home. Thank you careplus

I have mixed fillings. Care Plus specialists helped my son a lot and I will always be grateful for this. Nevertheless, Care Plus preferred not to share important facts with the court appointed parent coordinator ( for example, that mother refused to bring the child to the court appointed therapy FOR 6 MONTHS). It looks to me that covering such information against best interests of my child if to say the least.

Semi-friendly front desk and really nice counselor my son worked with. They are a bit disorganized, but overall a good place to find the help you need.

The doctor here is super helpful and people who work here does their best to meet the patients’ needs. I always get the right kind of care, right medicine, good rapport with the doctor. The social workers here who do counseling are to be said little differently, but at least they are trying very hard. The other social workers who don’t participate in counseling are seamless, superior, and understanding than any other places I have been. I am always very grateful and happy for getting the help from this place.

I don't get all the bad reviews. They make the place sound as bad as Bergen Regional. No. Care Plus is filled with a component, caring staff who go above and beyond for you. They thought I might have been in "serious trouble" so they spent literally over two hours with me. No place does that. They'd just send you to the hospital and label you "not their problem!" Who knows where these counselors had to be but they stayed with me for two hours making sure and taking precautions that I was "safe" for the night. You are in great hands with Care Plus!
