The atmosphere and people are really nice. The food is very good. Sadly the cocktails did disappoint. They didn't taste as expected from the description on the menu: three of them were mainly sour and tasted almost the same despite them sounding like vastly different cocktails. If not for that, it would be a 5 star place.

Loved everything about this little bar. The drinks were great. The food was great for sharing and the salon I had was perfection. Would love to frequent this spot!

This place is a fantastic cocktail bar! 🍸 Donna serves a wonderful selection of cocktails 🍹, wine 🍷 , and alcoholic drinks.🥃 Definitely try the Hall Pass cocktail! The staff 👨‍🍳 is super friendly and the service is quick. ⏲️ The ambience 🎶 is great and the place is nicely decorated. 🛋️ I wish I came here sooner!

Heard a lot about this place and want it to give it a try, as you arrived someone great you at the door, we didn't wait much to be seated, our waitress took an order, we order an oxtail empanada and 2 orders of salmon on a bed of sweet potatoes, we also ordered 2 cocktails: Paloma, I asked the waitress if we could get mezcal instead of tequila ,I also asked what mezcal was used for the house, he said Vida Mezcal, I asked about other options on brands and I asked him to use Montelobos instead. We had our dinner and when we asked for the check, the Paloma's were $28.00 each, but the price at the menu was $15.00, almost double the price to get the mezcal I preferred? I asked the server about the prices, and he directed me to his manager on site, Luis. As soon as Luis approached to our table with an attitude as I questioned him about the prices, that we were excessively overcharged and his answer was, that's the prices we have as Montelobos is a higher quality then vida mezcal and the wholesale cost is higher, his non professionalism on how to handle the situation, it's what takes places to Coppelia to make new customers never come back again. We paid $127.39 for I appetizer, 2 main dishes & 2 cocktails.

Amazing food, shocked that it’s a 24hr spot that has this high quality food and drinks. Very delicious with large portion sizes. Wasn’t hard to get a seat but was very busy in putting an order and waiting for food.

Drinks were pretty good, reasonable prices Definitely tropical-leaning but not outright a tiki bar. Drinks all had fun names. Chips and guac came with extra chips. Service was solid. I'd come back.

Breakfast:

The good -

sandwich was good. Potatoes (as a side) we ordered well done, and were very good

The omelet was average. Not worth coming back for. It wasn’t very substantial and had little filling

The so-so -

Potatoes with omelet were cold and not very good. Not sure why they were different than the side ones but they were. I asked the waitress to address the issue and she took my entire plate and came back with the same potatoes but hot. Clearly just nuked and now mushy. Terrible execution on that one

Got a cup of coffee and nobody ever came around to see if I would like it refilled. Also pretty bad service.

Paid $45. Too much for a mediocre breakfast even in NY. I recommend you pass on this place for breakfast and find a better place.

Walked in on Tue evening 7pm and was sat right away in the back. Two of us shared Caesar salad, oxtail empanada and mains the Churrasco - which was cooked to perfection. The rice and beans had a bit of a crunch and seasoning overall was well balanced. Didn’t have cocktails or dessert but plan to go again if even just for that!

You can’t go wrong. Weather it’s a special occasion or a regular dinner you won’t be disappointed. This place is iconic. Humberto is an amazing bartender definitely ask for him. He never disappoints.

It really depends on what time you go in.

It’s genuinely a 50/50 chance, not going to bad mouth the place cause there is a lot of effort put in and to try and take away from that is wrong. I have been here twice in the same week; a Saturday at 2 am and Thursday at 4:30-ish am. Saturday was AMAZING with it being a full house. Drinks were great, the mofungo was divine and the service was wonderful. Today, not so much. My friend ordered a beer the same time I ordered a cocktail, his beer never came and they had already called last call at the bar. We were stuck waiting a pretty long time for the appetizer and our mains. I ordered the pernil, it was burnt :/
Apparently a large party had walked in and there was only one person working the kitchen (from what we could see from our table)
The transparency would have definitely helped but we felt very over looked especially how our meal started before that party walked in. I had reorder the mofungo given I had had that great experience a few days earlier only to be left waiting for 20+ minutes that I lost my appetite feeling so discouraged.

Would HIGHLY recommend trying to go as early as possible and avoid super late nights at this place. The vibes are mostly great, just wish communication was better with guest on any back ups. The folks with some sense and decency will understand if staff speaks up.

I came here for a friends birthday and I would say that the dulce de leche pancake was REALLY good! Their breakfast is good as well. Can be a bit busy in the morning especially on Saturdays.

I’m so happy to have Donna back! I have so many great memories from their Williamsburg location. I was quite sad when they closed. The new location albeit is a bit of a different atmosphere, but the friendly service is still present, well-balanced drinks are free flowing, and the food…the food is elevated from their former taco offerings. I love that the branca colada slushy is still available, so many brain freezes from this drink!

Hands down some of the best cocktails I’ve had and I’ve been to many of the Top 50 bars. I went with a group of 5 people and basically tried the entire menu and was surprised how good the food was (Uli’s rice is a must-have!). Considering the area (West Village) the menu is fairly priced and the concept of it being worker-owned makes your dollar go a longer way. The service was very accommodating and music/atmosphere was awesome.

I came for the Brancolada cocktail but stayed for the Alfarita and Umami Old Fashioned. The food is also really good - pan-Latin with Mediterranean influences. I can never say no to za'atar and chorizo flavors. Going to Donna feels like traveling! You'll find me here any time I'm in need of a staycation.
