Very great monument located by the Freedom Square - it can be seen from a distance and looks grand.
Beautiful and historical place, free of charge
One of the monuments throughout the Baltics that emphasises the importance freedom and especially freedom from forced on rule for the people of the area. The memorial itself is nothing special, but the value it stands for obviously is.
The War of Independence Victory Column in Tallinn stands tall as a tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and determination of the Estonian people during a pivotal moment in their history. This monumental structure commemorates the hard-fought victories and the ultimate success of Estonia's struggle for independence. The Victory Column serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by those who fought for freedom and sovereignty, and it honors their legacy for future generations. As a cherished symbol of national pride, the column reflects Estonia's resilience and the indomitable spirit that continues to shape the country's identity today
A beautiful monument just outside the old town of Tallinn.
Monument to the Estonian Independence from the Soviet Union in 1991.
Located in the Freedom Square, it was build as a memorial for those who fell during the Estonian War of Independence. The pillar is 23.5 m high. Its best appreciated at night when the columns is lighted.
A nice monument and a good view of town
