I cannot express how great of an experience becoming a pull customer has been. The staff and the owner have made my shopping experience incredibly positive. The 20% discount on books as a pull customer is amazing, them bagging and boarding all their new books is such a nice touch that I love, and just an all around friendly and knowledgeable staff. I've stopped in here and there for decades, but only recently became a pull customer, and am so glad I did. Really great store.

I was scammed by the associates that work at this location, I truly don’t recommend you go to this location ever, I purchased a new ps5 controller and a warranty, I went to exchange my controller, and they never put any of my info in the system, and even though they printed my receipt and I had the transaction in my chime account which I showed them, simply because they didn’t put my info in correctly I was refused help, when I asked for the receipt to take it to another location to try and get help, the associate gave me the receipt but ripped off all the info I needed to make my exchange, they also put my address in Oregon, these associates are scammers and GameStop allows them to get away with it, I will be calling corporate and posting reviews every day, so that this never happens to anyone else, do not ever shop at this GameStop, literally scammers work there.
Great store for MTG and YuGiOh! I have purchased a lot of yugioh and mtg products and had excellent pulls! Play MTG commander here regularly and always have a great time!
This place is my safe haven. The staff is so cool and friendly. I feel welcomed and I never feel like I'm annoying. I spend hours looking through comics and they don't mind as long as I'm careful. It's the best place. Even though it's small its honestly comfortable. Every comic book day I go here too! I recommend this place 110%! Thank you heroes and games for existing! ❤
I was told via phone they would be open I arrived at 7 ,within operating hours, and there is a hand written note "will return at 7:45"

Pretty cool store. Wide variety of marvel, DC and indies. Easiest way to enter is through south entrance to convention center. Its close to the food court.
A small location, but they make great use of their space without feeling cluttered. Good selection of sealed TCG products, along with a decent selection of singles split between display cases and binders. They also have boxes of bulk cards, if you're looking for cheap fodder for whatever reason. Plenty of the necessary accessories as well. Surprisingly, they also have a good selection of comics and are willing to work with customers who want to be notified on restock. A very good store, unfortunately dragged down by its incredibly inconvenient location.
It's always a great place to go! They have so many different hobbies within cards, board games, models, and even have events like midnight magic! We go about every other week and the staff is very friendly!

It's crazy to see just how much the store has changed. Back in the early 2000's they hard 2 stores, one in Worthington and the one on Schrock. The name was Video Game Music Xchange. Not much of a selection on video games and systems the passed couple times I've come up.
Being a person who values quality customer service, as I am a person who provides quality customer service, I was very disappointed with my experiences here. I went two consecutive times because they didn't have something I was looking for and I needed to process a return.
On the first day, the store was closed in the middle of the afternoon. I understand that this sometimes happens as everybody needs a break. I was the only person standing outside waiting for the re-open. Upon entering the store, I was not greeted at all and the person at the front desk didn't speak until I spoke. Their energy was very lackluster and they did not even seem to want my patronage.
The next day I went to process a return. I walked into the store with two team members laughing jovially with another patron. As I continued, the energy shifted drastically. They got quiet and their energy was significantly subdued. They were not as pleasant/welcoming with me after I said I wanted to process a return. I got a condescending response, “Oh, we'll see if that's possible.”
I am a stickler for great quality service. I honor the value of my energy, time and money. This is not a place that I would share my business with ever again. I absolutely love GameStop and I've had many amazing experiences throughout my time being a loyal customer and client to this business for over 15 years. However, this location will never see me nor any one that I would recommend.

Always love stopping in at the Nerd Emporium. The guys there are super helpful and always friendly. They have a great selection of Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Magic cards that seem to always be rotating.

I love coming here! They always have the best selection of D&D and fantasy miniatures for me to peruse, and if they don't have something I need they'll make sure to order it in and have it within a week or two!
Super friendly and helpful staff! Helped me trade some cards in and pick out some new ones with ease. Took time to answer questions and make sure I was well taken care of while in the shop. Will definitely be back!
Me and buddy of mine ordered some one piece OP05 and we ran through some technical difficulties with the system and payments but the staff and manager were truly amazing on getting it resolved for us. We got our product in and we were extremely excited. We felt like kids opening packs of cards again! Amazing store and great customer service! highly recommend.
They have a nice collection and are well stocked, but prices come at a premium and you'll take a hit selling them anything. Probably more so to do with location and operating costs than anything personal, but regardless, it is what it is. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly though.
I went into the GameStop 3733 E. Broad Street and the lady attendant was the rudest I ever dealt with. I came in smiling and said hi. She gave me the dirtiest look and asked me what do I want, with a puzzle face I just said I’ll take a used Xbox controller. That’s why these places like GameStop don’t get good business from time to time because they hired people who don’t know how to really deal with people. I’m not gonna bring race In the mix because she was white and I was black, and I don’t know if she was having a bad bad day, but I do know when you are in retail and you work with people you don’t treat people like that or they won’t come back and buy your product.
Love coming here for board games, magic the Gathering and all my sleeves and other gaming supplies. Large selection and reasonable prices.
Great game selection. Tons of miniatures and accessories, RPGs. Plenty of tables for card playing. Prices are what you would expect from shop for hardcore table top gamers. Only issue is that the games are not organized. Apart from the massive wall of Warhammer 40k, you have to look through every game to find something. Still 5 stars though. Great shop.

Great experience at this location. Only one person was working (Dave), but he did a great job balancing customers. I knew what I was after, and he had me in and out in just a few minutes. Will definitely be back.
Please teach your staff how to process returns so other customers don’t have to waste nearly 20 minutes while a staff member hems and haws and decides they don’t know how to complete the transaction.

Tried to call 3 times to ask if they had a specific game in stock for my holiday shopping. I got placed on hold an eventually hung up on every single time. Which is wild because everyday I pass this store while going to/from work an the store is empty y'all can't be that busy to hang up on me 3 times.
A friend took me here for the 1st time and even though I'm not a gamer my son's are ..I can't wait to take them back! The variety of board games, cards, gamer supplies, D & D dice was just AMAZING! You could tell this is a regular haunt for the locals bc everyone was chatting to reach other and they have a comfy cozy looking back room for playing your favorite game with friends or 'strangers'!

The owner (Denver) is the most helpful and considerate shop owner I have ever dealt with. Incredible selection of board games and trading cards! I am clear down in Grove city, but it is totally worth the trip.
I used to love coming here when I lived nearby. I love their selection for Pokemon and it is definitely the most expansive in the area. But the past few times I have been in here, I have been ignored. During my most recent visit, we spent 30 minutes waiting to be helped (after getting the attention of an associate) before we decided to leave. And to second what another reviewer mentioned, it feels like if you are femme-presenting, you get ignored.
Edit: Even with a release event being held for Magic, the store had very few customers when we came in. People who came in after us were helped first. Again, we caught the attention of an employee a few times and they prioritized individuals who came in after us.

I went to sell my console there one time with my friend they offered me $20 for a Xbox one s . I like the store the retro feel but I don't recommend selling your console there Xbox gave me $130 for it other than that the store is okay 👍
First off, great selection of games. Board games, puzzles. They even have classic arcade games (the full cabinet, like in the arcade) for sale. I'm not sure where you can go to see something like that.
I bought a bunch of games and a couple of leaning placemats for my 5YO here. I picked up the bags of games and did not pick up the placemats. My fault. I took the bags to the car and came back in the mall, still not realizing I'd left them behind. The clerk came and found me in another store! Amazing he could, and what customer service. And this was after me and my kid came in with ice cream cones, which probably scared them because he's so young. (He was very good about keeping his hands to himself, though, which I'm sure they appreciated.)
Anyway, I've always loved coming into this store to pick out my games. It's fun, and the clerks are always so great and knowledgeable (rare quality it seems like lately).

One of the best Columbus based boardgame shops around! Both this location and the East side location have plenty of space for casual and game events and have a great collection of competitively priced trading cards, board games, and tabletop accessories!
Kind and friendly. Small and intimate. It has everything someone would need for dungeons and dragons and so much more. They have beautiful dice to choose from and really amazing prices and paint to go with the figurines, should you want to paint them yourself. If not, they have some fully painted and ready to go. They even have games for littles as well. The whole family would have a blast!
We went to capital games previously and after our most recent visit and having the person running the shop come late to open we came here. Let me tell you it was the best experience we have had at a game store!! Thank you all for the fair prices and the great and clean selection!!!!!
This is a hidden gem. The people that work here are gamers. Keep this in mind when you shop here. They are not out going or even voluntary with their conversations. No gamers are. When you ask for help you get it. Now, these same employees are deeply knowledgeable about the hobby side of games. If you want to paint miniatures, go here and ask questions. They will lead you to the correct product and explain how to use it. This is where this gamer, introvert staff shines. Don't try to be a part of whatever deep club of gaming you think lies beneath the surface. There is none. The staff is just trying to get through the day and they are very insightful and friendly but you have to ask questions. The prices are very fair here too. That is very helpful. Lastly, they have genuinely honest and generous return policy. If a paint doesn't look right? Bring it back and talk to them. If card sleeves don't fit? Keep the packaging intact and they will exchange. I've never had a missing part in a game but I can only imagine the staff opening a box and giving it to you. Also, they will order things and then send you a text when it is in. Super helpful store and place to do all your game hobby shopping.

Great place to get paint like Vallejo, GW, and Army Painter. They have tons of miniatures for purchase and keep everything stocked. I find myself here all the time getting paint and brushes.
Absolutely love this establishment. I haven't been able to find a group of people to play DND with but seeing the table top area and seeing how many people showed up I'm excited to say I'm joining very soon. Josh was a very big help finding everything I wanted or needed. Highly recommend this location for anything from DND, Warhammer, spin off campaigns, scenery maps and minis.
Not from the area, but met a friend here too play magic and I had forgotten all my magic at home! Staff was super knowledgeable and friendly, got myself some new decks and played with some random people. Everyone was super nice, good to play with. Will definitely be back in my next visit to the area!
A deeply subpar card store compared to the competition in the Columbus. Charges over MSRP for several products, has a tiny amount of play space, and the employees do nothing to make you feel welcome. It gets two stars for cleanliness and simply not being The Soldiery.

Had some time to kill while in the area and found this awesome game store. They have all the games. Great staff and the prices were better than expected. A real nice place to pick up that next family game, or add to your existing favorites.

A great little shop near the airport. It is full of all the necessities; a variety of games, tables for playing, hobby supplies, etc. It is also a hub of a lot of activity in the area. If you are looking to tap onto the local gaming culture, swing by and look at their pinup board and table that has local business cards, local gaming clubs, ads for conventions and LFGs.
Absolutely one of my favorite game stores. The owner, as well as the rest of the staff, are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Events held here are always a good time, I can't recommend this place enough
Totally sick option that's right down the street from another very similar business, I like both. Check out the MTG cases, he's really got some good revised cards for sale, plus some of the newer must haves for a great price, friendly, good service, and knowledgeable. No video games just board games and cards!!! Refreshing!!!
I remember going here Long time a go when I was 9 in 2009 summer and 10 I went here doing the Weeknd age10 Friday after school and age 11 I went here Friday 2011 the place is great 👍
Huge selection of dice and games. Went there on a whim for some new dice for my druid , but left having learned and played my first game of Magic. Also bought a few packs to learn the mechanics. Denver was super helpful and took time to walk me through a game. I will be back!

Everyone in our group is nerdy as hell so it was only natural we stopped at a nerd store while visiting friends in Ohio.
This was a nice game store with plenty of options for whatever type of nerd you are. The offering of board games, card games, Magic cards, paints for minis and your everyday accessories was plentiful and fairly priced. The staff was very friendly as well considering the place was swarming with people for some tabletop campaigns that were going on.
Sadly, we were only here for 10 minutes before we booked it to the Asian festival… so I don’t have much to comment about this place. I will say that there is a store cat running around! I only briefly saw it before it slalomed between our legs and dipped into the back room. So, no photo of the majestic beast. 😦 but I did snag a game called Trash Pandas that I can’t wait to play someday.
If I lived in Columbus, this would be the place I would come for my gaming needs. It reminded me very much of the store I visit at home called Just For Fun. There is a second The Guardtower and I hope to visit the next time I am back in town. Apparently one is referred to as East Guardtower and this one as West. Not sure why but if you plan to visit one of the stores, don’t be surprised if you hear them referred to in that manner.

Went in last night, around 7 or 8 and the people there were amazing. The manager, randy, was a sweetheart and showed us how to play all the games and Brianna was super polite, making sure we found everything alright.
I like chatting with the owner of Ravenstone. He carries a good amount of D&D 5e books. I like that the store is close to where I live.

Great game store! Always super Friendly staff. They have mtg nights and other tcg nights! Pokemon trade nights for the kids and kids at heart. Love their selection of single mtg, pokemon, and a small but growing selection of lorcana cards! Prices for sealed and singles are priced right!
Good selection and stock, but prices are pretty crazy, even with the obligatory 10% card given every time you walk in. You can find almost every game 30% to 50% off on online vs. the prices here (often for same-day or 1-day shipping). May be a good option in a pinch if you need a game and cannot wait though!
Great spot, knowledgeable staff. HUGE problem with closing randomly. At least 5 of my last 10 trips they've have a "be back shortly" sign on the door, which usually means about 45 minutes. Call ahead and tell them your on your way seems to be the surefire way to get them to stay. If able, just shop somewhere else.

It will definitely be a good place to bring my children for toys and games throughout their childhood.

Way overpriced. Got shirts from five below for fifteen bucks. Games are usually 30% higher than most places. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and head over to the guard tower for a better selection and better price.
This was the only Gamestop left this past weekend that had PS5 in stock! I forget the associates name that helped me (short blue hair) but we had a great conversation with their recommended games to get on the PS5 system and had all the answers to my questions. The associate was also very considerate about personal pronouns!

STOKED to have another local, independently owned game shop here in town!! Have been back a couple times and it always seems well stocked with loads of new stuff. Love the selection of locally made games, specifically; huge bonus. Can’t wait to see the place grow!
Though the store is small, it offers a large stock of tabletop gaming supplies, and boasts the best stock of D&D books in town.
The rewards program is superb, the owner is friendly, and if there's something you need that isn't on the shelf, he's willing to go through his personal supplies to sell you what you need, or can order it for you.

Forever games outside looks like an office district it's not too distinct. Just go in and take a look as they have practically any old gaming system and games you would want. I liked that the gaming consoles were in cases and labeled alphabetically. Each console had its own display for consoles and games. We have purchased several PS3 games, Nintendo 3DS and DS cartridges that are in pristine and no visible scratches condition. Their prices on their games are a little high but you are paying for the pristine condition you don't typically get from a store like Game Stop.
Derek went over and beyond Customer Service. He was very helpful and answered all my questions he spent detailed time showing answering questions and helping me purchase gifts for a 13 year old and 64 year old.
I believe he had my interest at heart. The attention to detail provided by Derek was impressive and his customer service skills are excellent. I will always buy from Games Galore!

Staff is very friendly.. been watching my grandson for a couple months because of covid and almost every day he wants to go to GameStop for a little something very helpful he's 9 years old so he wants to touch everything he's not allowed to so I don't let him but the staff is great and he usually comes in with change she gets from his family members from his "swear jar".. not for me of course but he enjoys it and that's nice he calls the workers his friends he's 9 years old

Edit: still love this local store. Been going a few months and I have to say that it is great to see the owner keep up with new products. Like d&d book, MTG card sets, etc. If a new book or minis is dropping, odds are this store will have it.

Absolutely wonderful locally owned game store. Friendly service. Welcoming (most moments) store kittens. I love the unique games they carry, and the prices are some of the best. I am a huge fan of the Jim Henson movies and was excited to see a couple of games based on those movies!! I didn’t even know a game for The Dark Crystal or The Labyrinth existed in the world until today.
These guys are great. Im from out of town they waited for me to get there to get my stuff since I leave in the morning. Wonderful personalities and quick. THANK YOU!!
Great!! Was my first time inside a Game Stop ( video game store period) Will definitely be back and recommend Employee was very Nice, friendly, professional and helpful. My 5 and 6 year olds were being normal kids. He did not care treated them like anyone Els even when my son would knock everything over.
We always get great deals from this location! One of these were only $4! Not to mention they have tons of little figurines and toys that caught my 5 yr old son's attention. Customer service here is good
Decent selection of board games, but was lacking things like dice from what I could see. Plenty of miniatures, tabletop books, and space to keep your legendary party going though!
