I called and ask if anyone had time for a fill, the women in the last seat in the picture said (with a rude tone) “Not right now but at 10:30” I said “ok thank you” and I headed to the salon. I arrived about 4 minutes later at 10:08 and sat down. A man asked if I had an appointment, I told him no, but I just called and was told 10:30 was available. He didn’t say anything, stood up, walked over and looked at a book; then sat back down. A minute or so later I asked, “is that still ok?” He responded by saying no, they don’t have availability. (Again, he didn’t say anything before I asked). I asked what changed in the 4 minutes since I called. He responded by saying, “Did you tell them you were coming?” Again I said, “I told her ok, thank you and I arrived 4 minutes later so why was there no availability now?” The rude woman (again with a rude tone) said “Well you did not tell me you were coming.” I let her know she was rude on the phone and I had responded with “ok, thank you and arrived 4 minutes later” she raised her voice and said, “I was not rude” I let her know that the tone in which she was speaking to me in that moment was rude and that is how she sounded on the phone. As I turned around to leave another man said, “just leave.” I turned back around and said obviously I am. Disgusting people, with an even more disgusting attitude. I’m a disabled veteran so it’s not the easiest to get out, then to arrive there just to be treated poorly is disheartening. I hope these people learn customer service and treat others better than I was treated.

The Pedi I received here was amazing 🤩, box shape (square) , & Hong new exactly what I wanted. So happy 😁 with my nails. 💅 will be back. I super enjoyed myself.

I’m giving this place 2 stars because the technician was pleasant but his work was horrible. The pedicure took a total of 15 minutes, I was extremely disappointed when we walked to the front and charged me $50.
So you’re telling me that you are charging me $50 to wet my feet, file my nail and put color on it?
Ridiculous! The very least you can do is push the cuticle back and clean the nail.

I like my nails done here cause they do a great job and take there time here

Best nail and pedicure place in Reno and Sparks. Not only do they offer great service at affordable prices, but they are also fun to talk to, clean and great massage chairs. They offer a great selection of gel and nail polishes.

I like the color I chose for my gel manicure, but after less than 4 days, three of my nails started lifting on the sides/corners. They’re also the most expensive gel manicure I’ve gotten in Reno ($50), but the least durable.

My tech was very nice. He did not do a very good job. Asked for Mani Pedi with gel and got a file and painted nails. My cuticles and dead skin were not removed so a gel that should last a few weeks lasted one before looking awful. I've noticed a lot of places don't bother with manicures anymore when getting gel or acrylics. The painting was uneven and the nails not painted fully. Even reviews here give 5 star but you can clearly see the work is not good

My wife and I have been going here once a month for almost 2 years for pedicures. Wife and daughter also go once a month for manicures. The staff are all very nice and do great work. Recently, all of the pedicure chairs were replaced.

I wasn’t going to leave a review until my nails are already lifting and one has fallen off and today is only day 10 of having this set. Look at how they look! My full sets always last a minimum of 3 weeks!! First off I wanted almond shape but they charge $15!! EXTRA DOLLARS for that shape!! I’ve never heard of that in my life. I wanted a cute little Halloween design I was quoted $100 FOR A FULL SET!!!! INSANE! Never would I ever pay that. Their basic pedicure starts at $38 I got .3 seconds of my feet scrubbed. I also wanted to just paint my 7 year old daughters nails and got charged $10 and full price for her “pedicure” that they literally soaked her feet in water for 5 full minutes and filed her nails. I will never be going back to this nail salon ever again. Insanely a waste of money. They are so overpriced it’s unreal. The lady couldn’t even cover my nails with the glitter nail polish see the pictures below. I’ve hated them since day 1.

The best salon I have been to for a pedicure. I like all 3 of the gals that have given me a pedicure here. Friendly, clean, and they have massage chairs. I've tried other places, but I won't anymore.

Van does the absolute best nails of anywhere I've ever gone in my life. The quality of her work is amazing.

We called asking if they had time to do gel manicures on four people. We were able to go in immediately and they did all four of us at once. Very quick service, but not in a bad way. Lots of color options. All 4 techs were great. The little massage is nice. Decent prices. I'll be going back.

Nails were very spaced from the cuticle, and two of them were not fully attached just leaving the building. All of my fingers got terrible hangnails. I asked for ghost faces on one of each side and the girl and the guy next to her were laughing about it and he was watching the entire time she did it. Then, I go into my account and see they overcharged my card by $20. The girl said it was $75, which the website says $65, and I did not receive the “sugar scrub”, “massage”, etc… I added tip to make $100 even. They charged me $122. I didn’t say a word to the girl nor was I rude the entire time. Completely disappointed. They offered to fix my nails as a solution but I don’t often get time and a babysitter to go get them done in the first place. Scam, wish I never went.

I went to get my eyebrows waxed they took me in the same day I liked that part but the woman who waxed my eyebrows told me she could not arch my eyebrows because supposedly the were to thin 😒 and then burned me with her wax and then told me I was SENSITIVE but in reality I was scared of getting burnt again... now I have a burn mark on my face and I look funny so don't go here and also they dont even wear gloves in there itz disgusting they don't even deserve the star I gave them

Michael did an absolutely amazing job! On my pedicure and full set of nails. I showed him a picture and he executed it perfectly, the shape, the colors and the designs are exactly what I wanted!

Tried this place because my acrylics from another salon kept breaking. Easy to set an appointment. Quick appointment and they actually took me at my appointment time, unlike some other places. Super cute nails. Calm and quiet atmosphere.

This place is a step above your usual nail salon. The lady did an impeccable job on my pedicure (even used a fine paint brush to get it perfect) and the salon itself was clean and peaceful. No magazines covering tables, loud yelling, etc. It was relaxing and all the techs were so polite. Will definitely be back.

Called to ask if I can walk in and I didn’t have to wait considering it’s always full. The lady who did my nails really took her time making my 3D sun flower nails. She was also very willing to triple coat my nails bc I can still see my actual nails. Over all I’m happy with my nails.

Great job on Pedi and mani! Didn't have to wait and service was professional yet relaxed. Make you feel comfortable.

Raquel (I hope I spelled her name right)… she did such an amazing job on my toes and nails! I love them. Amazing price, very sweet lady. I’ve never had someone so nice do my nails before. Safari nails is definitely my new favorite place!

I wish I could leave 0 stars. I was charged $70 for these nails, and when I asked them to fix the crooked nails, the staff got upset and told me not to come back. It was a horrible experience. They were extremely unprofessional and rude. They told me that I wanted "free service" which was not the case. This is the worst nail experience I've ever had in my life.

Response to owner:
1) I asked you to fix them and you got upset, told me I wanted free service and “this is bullshit” and told me to never come back again. I’m surprised you are the owner, I would never expect such poor customer treatment from the owner of this place.

2) The nails were crooked, if I’m going to pay over $70 for a basic full set they should at least be straight. You rushed and did my nails and that is not my fault. I didn't want “free service” because if I did I wouldn’t have paid $123 for a basic pedicure and a BASIC full set.

At the end of the day; your spa is overpriced. And the customer service is beyond unprofessional and rude. Never coming back. 👎🏼👎🏼

This is my first time coming to Safari Nails. I walked in without an appointment, and was seen almost immediately. Both environment and staff were pleasant. My nail tech was Andy. He was very gentle on the fingers and met my expectations and requests on point. I haven’t had a full set in about a year, and was expecting my nails to be sore, but they’re perfectly fine! Thank you Andy for your awesome service. I love my nails <3 I’m looking forward to my next visit :)

This was my experience the first time I came here and I am extremely highly impressed with their service. For starters I was seated almost immediately when I had arrived. They had me wash my hands beforehand and, of course require masks. The workers are very nice and accommodating. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure. The leg/foot massage was immensely relaxing. It was not too rough while not too gentle either, perfectly in the middle. My gel manicure was also of tremendous high quality. After two whole weeks of having these nails on they are still holding up very nicely besides growth gaps. Plus, they look extremely nice. The nail technician I had personally was Karie and I would definitely recommend her. Before leaving I went to the bathroom and saw that the bathroom is ever so clean. In fact the general nail salon is quite clean and aesthetically pleasing. I have no clue what the other reviews speaking badly of this salon are talking about at all but for my personal experience this was the best salon I've been in for a long time. I fully, with complete confidence would recommend their services to other people.

Overall this was a very pleasant experience. I called shortly after opening and made an appt for my fiancé and myself, they had an opening at 1:30pm for us both to get manicures and pedicures.

It was quiet and not busy when we arrived. 1 person leaving and another just finishing up. We were greeted and waited a few minutes before being shown where to sit.

Pedicure was first. The water was warm, not too hot, and the massage chair was heavenly.

I've never had any type of nail treatment before and I was very happy. Cut my nails, cleaned up my cuticles, trimmed dead skin, and got the dead skin off the bottom of my feet.

This was followed up with an exfoliating scrub and leg massage.

After the pedicure I moved over to a station and then it was manicure time.

Like a wizard with nail clippers my nails were trimmed and followed up with a file to take down the sharp edges. Cuticles were cleaned up and then dead skin was trimmed off too.

Instead of polish or shellac I opted for a simple buff and shine on my fingers and toes. Overall I am very impressed.

My fiancé had the same treatment with the exception of shellac on her toes and fingers. Pink on fingers and red on her toes.

My sister is a frequent client of Nail Club and recommended we try them out.

For both of us the services cost $120 ($30 for each service) which i found to be pretty reasonable. Not something I'll be doing for myself very often but still a great experience and a nice way to pamper ourselves

Stopped in to see if we could get a pedicure, they got us in with less than a 5 minute wait on a Saturday at 3:30 (they close at 5). Super nice, and the owner himself came and helped us. Both he and the other girl were very nice and even provided us a bottle of water. Super clean facility, newer beautiful massage chairs. Very attentive and skilled.

The owner, Lisa, is wonderful and gave me the best pedicure. The chair was so comfortable as well as the whole atmosphere. My pedicure still looks perfect and it has been 3 weeks.

I love this place. They have awesome services. They are reasonably priced. And best of all on my girls first trip they made it special.
