Block Advisors always makes filing my taxes and easy process. That’s why I keep going back.
My appointment was changed three times. The amount of tax due changed by thousands of dollars. She listed me as having social security income (when I have not started taking social security). I had difficulty understanding her, and she said the video app doesn't work. She wanted to charge $380 to file one simple federal 709 report nontaxable gift and $59 for the California gift return. This was after the last Block advisor retired (without telling me) and ghosted me.
Lena was my tax advisor and I felt like she cared about me and my particular situation. She has a calm demeanor that makes you trust her
They Wasted 3 months of my time and found an amazing accountant on Upwork . Hovannes is very over worked , unprofessional and his assistant has poor work ethic . Called out hovannes for not being up to date with my taxes & bookeeping and he started getting very defensive, slick and purposely using big words to confuse me . Lesson learned and now I’m in a better place .
