As usual, the arrangement I ordered for my daughter's birthday was just perfect. It arrived within a few hours of placing the order. I allowed Midtown to pick the flowers for the arrangement and as in the past they made the perfect array of seasonal flowers. I will be using them again in the future. They are the best florists I have ever dealt with.
Great first time order experience! I ordered an Easter flower bouquet online on the website from another state. The flowers were delivered same day and promptly in about 2 hours. The bouquet was actually prettier than the picture! Very pleased.
This really is the best florist in Brooklyn, quite possibly all of NYC. I’ve had nothing but great experiences and frequent them often for amazing flowers, that last.. and at a great price. Wouldn’t go anywhere else, thanks Midtown!

Visited ONCE and NEVER went back. I went looking for a tough indoor house plant. There was a guy working and one other customer browsing around. I asked the guy working for some help and he said give him a minute. I said ok, waited standing by a plant I was considering and wanted to speak with him about. He NEVER walked over to me. He checked out the other customer. Then disappeared. I looked around and I was alone. I just walked out. RUDE.

Very good quality of service and beautiful flowers. I was updated at each step of the delivery and the recipient was very happy. Always good to contribute to a local store. I will do it again and again.

This florist is INCREDIBLE! Barry (the owner) is so kind and him & his team are so talented at putting together amazing bouquets. I got a dozen red roses as a bouquet for my Valentine and she LOVED them!!! They were so rich, red, and vibrant. Also, I initially scheduled a pick up order and wanted to get it delivered last minute. Barry was really understanding and delivered it ASAP on the same day!! I highly recommend these folks. 10/10! Had two wonderful tea ceremonies one with Angel and the other with her and her husband for my friends birthday. They were excellent hosts. Learned so much about tea history and how to properly enjoy high quality tea. We all had such a fun and relaxing time would definitely go again!

Prices are insane. Higher than other stores in the neighborhood and have consistently gotten worse for a year. Over $10 for milk this week. Lots of things without even a price tag

I’ve left 400 reviews, only 2 of which were less than 5 star. Bad selection, rotten produce, higher than average prices for a Brooklyn grocery store. I wouldn’t let my enemies shop here if I had them. I think I might have 1 actually, her name is Sydney. I may warn her to stay clear. She might not realize my good intentions because she’s projecting onto me that I’m unsavory when in fact I am extra savory, and she just hates the things that she recognizes in me in herself. We’re talking about some deep seated and unresolved issues. I’ve never met her or even communicated with her. Try and be kinder to yourself and those around you today to counteract her senseless anger, New York grocery store review peruser. And go to Food Town, it’s only 5 blocks east.
Such a delightful local business to work with. I live in Florida now but wanted to order flowers for my mom’s birthday. I grew up just a few blocks from this florist so I thought to give them a try. I ordered an arrangement at about 9am and they were delivered (for free) to my mom’s address before 2pm.

Perfect arrangement and delivery. It was an easy purchasing experience. I purchased the premium size and the bouquet was definitely the size I expected. It was filled with roses and flowers. Other places I have purchased sometimes skimmed out or used fillers. This arrangement was definitely full with roses and flowers. First time and will definitely use them again.
Ordered a standing flower basket for a wake and they were beautifully made. The funeral parlor didn’t stand it however, family did at the burial. The details on the ribbon added a personalized loving touch. Rudy from the florist shop went above and beyond to making sure it was perfect. The family of the deceased was very thankful.
Nice but a bit pricey. Love that they have my favorite Dominican salami brand. Love their Boarhead's charcuterie meats and cheeses. They have really good options too!
Angel is so kind and talented, Chrysanthemum is by far my favorite place to get flowers! Angel helped me with a bouquet about two years ago and I’ve been coming to see her ever since. The shop is great for bouquets, dried flowers, arrangements and tea! Angel did my wedding bouquet and boutonnière! She is so easy to work with, a great communicator, gives very clear directions and delivers! Thank you so much Angel!!!

I don't write many reviews on here, but Angel and Shifu Ken are shining lights who took such kind and generous care of me when I visited them in Brooklyn twice a year part. Two friends and I had a truly magical experience at Shifu Ken's tea ceremony and I've since brought family of mine to share a tea ceremony and meet Angel and Ken. It became very clear to me and my friends that we had met our spiritual grandparents!! I've given Angel's gorgeous and creative flower arrangements as gifts to dear ones and my friends also went to Shifu Ken for a palm reading too. I couldn't recommend them more as kind and generous souls, and you should also definitely give them your business :)

I highly recommend Midtown Florist! Ugo is so friendly and amazing to work with. I went to the shop to do a mock up before putting in the order for my event. He was extremely patient, receptive to my comments, worked with the vases I provided, understood and executed my vision perfectly and all at a reasonable price!

Absolutely darling shop and people. Angel greeted us so warmly and encouraged us to wander around the charming shop full of flowers and tea while we waited for Ken Lo. The tea ceremony itself was a blessing as he guided us through increasingly oxidated teas from green to red. I left with a deep appreciation for tea and the act of slowing down and noticing. A wonderful time, definitely call ahead to enjoy this ceremony. (:
I finally came to google reviews after several trips to this market have left me absolutely disappointed. DO NOT BUY PRODUCE FROM THIS MARKET-BECAUSE IT WILL QUICKLY BECOME A WASTE. Every time I have purchased fruit from this market it has been a few hours away from being rotten. On top of how overpriced this market is, it is exhausting to not get the value you are literally paying for.
Two day search succeeded thanks to brother Eddie I had an absolute blast here a bit pricey however family and friends are in and out that makes for a great experience thank you.
I mostly go there to shop on the second floor- that part of the store is amazingly well stocked at reasonable prices. Whoever is a buyer for that section of the store is doing a great job at it.

Honestly the best supermarket I've been to in Brooklyn. The food selection is very good. The prices aren't wholesale, but they're not outrageous. The produce, bakery and deli are always fresh and clean. They offer alot of great services including delivery and pick up. Both are done professionally for reasonable prices. I love shopping here.
Store is really big and nice looking. I was excited to go in! The inside was as i expected. Then i started shopping, saw some tags and the price seemed alright.(sale items) Then as i walked each isle, the real prices were showing. Omg, i cant afford the food here! Prices were crazy!! oh, the meat was expensive too. I bought cup of soups and anything i could by at sale price that I ate. Was a real disappointed, just moved here and now I have to find another place to shop. Anyone know of another food store in this area? Reasonable prices??
The store has many options of food that are friendly for everyone. (;ie vegans or people with nute allergies) But checking out is where most troubles are if you remove an item from the platform it will say something if you put down something on the platform it will say something. Aside from that the store isn't too bad but it is extremely overpriced.

This is probably the best supermarket in Bay Ridge. It's very clean organized and the shelves are fully stocked. The prices are okay. But I watch out for the sale items since we have several mouths to feed. The meat and chicken appear to be fresh and well stocked. Occasionally, we'll buy sandwiches and prepared foods during lunch. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh and well stocked. Checking out is easy. I usually do the self checkout and the staff is always willing to help if I have a problem. The cashiers are are also very good. Always polite efficient friendly

I ordered a small succulent garden for my parents patio table. They love those succulents. It’s a beautiful arrangement and the good thing about succulents is that you only have to water them every 7 to 10 days, so, for the most part, they take care of themselves.
My mother has a wooden planter box. Every year around Easter, we get her some flowers for her planter box. She is so proud of those flowers. We always get the flowers from Outdoor Plants. We’ve found their prices to be extremely reasonable.
Instead of ordering some cut flowers for my mother’s birthday, we decided to send her a sunshine orchid plant. She loves caring for that plant and has to show it to me every time I visit.
My father loves the cactus garden we gave him for Father’s Day. Thumbs up to Outdoor Plants for the great arrangement and the reliable delivery.
Passed by today because I wanted to get a bouquet for a birthday. The bouquets were amazing and so were the staff. They had wonderful already made bouquets, but I wanted to pick the flowers myself and get a smaller one. Carlos set up my selection and even took the time to make it more aesthetically pleasing, by adding a couple more flowers to make it colorful which is what I wanted. The picture does not do it justice. It is beautiful and so was the wrapping presentation. Will definitely be back, can't believe I have not stopped by here until now. They go above and beyond, they even asked me if I was parked on meter to make the process faster if needed.
Christa is a true artist!! She was able to take my inspiration photos and create something better than I could have thought of myself! She was very communicative and constantly asked for feedback on flower choices. You can tell she is passionate about her work and the flowers were such a special part of the day. We even used them the next day as a centerpiece for a party!
The best garden nursery in Brooklyn. Centrally located, wide selection of vegetable plants, flowers, and seeds. Great presentation, well organized, making it easy to shop. They have all the garden accessories you could possibly need. Staff is professional and knowledgeable and most importantly, their prices are very affordable. Will go no where else!!
This grocery store has a lot of options, which I love, but the prices are absolutely nuts. I picked up a frozen pizza with my groceries and there weren’t any price stickers around it, but I just assumed it would be $5-$8. Nope, $14.99 for a frozen cheese pizza. Insane.
We literally checked EVERY bag and the expiry date was intentionally ripped off. This is absolutely unethical of this company.
The store is big and clean but, the management of the store is questionable🤔. I went there with my shopping cart and was told to leave it 🙃up front with security🙃. However, I had placed it inside the cart that I was using and was told by a "guard" that carts aren't allowed in the store. What kind of bs is that 🤔? I go there to buy food, not steal. Uncomfortable with all the security from front to back of store😐.
I’m so impressed. Flowering plant and balloon were delivered SAME day within an hour or so from ordering online! They sent an email confirming the order, another when they were working on it and a 3rd when it was delivered. Looks beautiful, nice size, fast service - Thank you so much!

I've been going there for over 35 years. It is run by the most kindness family who just love what they do -- feed and provide you with whatever you need to keep healthy and not poor. A perfect example is before closing everyday, they announce that their delicious sushi that is meticulously prepared are half price. It's not just that they believe that worldwide food waste is a problem and that is primarily the reason why there is starvation in other countries that sell all their resources for profit while most of the people have nothing to eat but because they want to give their neighbors a break during these hard times. Thier philosophy is contagious. There are times that neighboring stores bring their food over to be given free at the end of the day so it does not get wasted and at the same time promote their goods. Kindness is not dead yet.

Was also really shocked to see that from a bunch of cone like flowers, the stem was broken on one and had actually been scotch taped back together and placed in the bunch (this was not visible during purchase, as they are already pre-wrapped in plastic wrap).
It's really unfortunate, this place used to be much better.

Nice people and a lovely plant selection, but their online order system seems a bit disorganized—I placed an order for pickup a few weeks ago, never heard anything after it was confirmed, then got a call a few days ago asking if I was available to receive the delivery. I said i would pick it up, and when I went to do that today, they did not have my purchases ready to pick up, and half the items were out of stock. Until they work out their system, probably best to just keep this an in-person shopping experience.

Nothing but impeccable service, flowers, and great design. Christa and her team did an outstanding job for our wedding day at The Ocean Cliff Resort, Newport, Rhode Island. From start to finish, planning design, travel to our location in Newport Rhode Island, and beautiful fresh cut white flowers on the chars, archway, and with candlelight lanterns in the outdoor tent reception area, all provided by this company. Their fresh deli meat counter closes about an hour before the store does. (~7pm) Just refurbished the deli area too. They have pre-cut meats as a backup.
Bulk coffee and dried nuts are nice to have. Prepared salads and other items are sometimes expired and still on the shelf, and produce can be hit or miss.

Timely and flexible delivery but for $50, received only a small bouquet of about 8 stems of alstroemeria. Last minute delivery for Valentine’s Day but still a bit disappointing.
Apologies for the blurry photos. I really enjoyed speaking with the staff. He helped me understand the best setting for the plants I was considering. You could tell he was busy but at the same time cares about the craft, and ensuring customers leave informed.
I ordered flowers online thru door dash. I called to ask a few questions because I live in Seattle. He was able to help me and change my deliver date to be more convenient time which after his hours online thru door dash. He sent me photos of the flowers when he was done and stay late waiting for door dash! I can not thank him enough!! Must order from here....pricing is amazing as well!!!

I had such a good experience at Natty Gardens this week. I was helped out by a guy named David. I really appreciate someone who takes pride in the job that they do. He was very knowledgeable about different plants/ best seasons to grow/How often to water them/ best bang for my buck. And I really appreciate that. Sometimes you go into stores with a lot of dumb questions. David never once made me feel like I was dumb for the most simplest questions. I really appreciate the hard work of the Natty Garden team. They made me feel not just a priority but like family. And that's very rare for Brooklyn lol

Christa went above and beyond to make my friend's birthday. I ordered the "Pamper Package Quarantine Style" and she arranged same day delivery! I was overjoyed by the beautiful arrangement of flowers, vegan fudge, Hibiscus Tea and balloon! I have to say it is just not your average flower arrangement. It was for a friends birthday and each flower was vibrant and saturated with color. Can't wait to order from Hibiscus Flowershop again!

This is the arrangement that was done for my event and it was perfect. Christa constantly stayed in communication with me so that I was always updated on her progress. We wanted lilacs in the arrangement but had no idea when they'd be in season. She texted me the second they came in (with only days to spare) and delivered a beautiful arrangement the day of the event. Thank you for everything!
Super-impressed with this store - family owned since '56. Not big, but well stocked. Neat as a pin. At opening this morning, an army of employees straightening and cleaning. Wonderful produce, bakery, and meat departments. Great selection of fresh ready-mades. Really first rate effort form these folks
