Such an iconic venue. Easy access in and out. Quick service at concessions. A wonderful atmosphere and incredible acoustics. I had high expectations of the Bowl but they were more than exceeded. I'd recommend to get there early due to traffic and absorb thd atmosphere outside before the gate opens and you can drink your own wine or beer there.
Three different theater companies in this Center.
All three plays were great and pretty professional

Another great show, Incubus tour 2023, bday gift from the family! As always a great place to see a concert, historic and peaceful...was Definitely the most people I've ever seen at the Bowl for sure! An employee also mentioned that himself, great weather and it couldn't have went any better!
First time attending this venue to watch the performance of The Traveler. Was already running late and had a problem getting a ticket at the box office. Luckily Carlos Sanchez was there to help and provided excellent service so I can be seated before it began. He made sure I would still be able to get in and accommodated me very polite and professionally. I gave him a big thank you and he mentioned it was his first day on the job (salute to whoever hired him) 😊

Once I got my ticket, other staff members of the theater were there to usher in the audience. They were all very nice, and helped me accordingly. Inside the space was perfect (I’d say could probably seat 200-250 people). Not too big just intimate enough for the audience. The set up was great, lighting and sound were spot on and I definitely enjoyed the show. 11/10 would come back and watch another performance

This museum is free to enter , however it is $20 to park, $15 if you enter after 3pm. The museum is closed on Mondays, and open until 5:30 pm. You have to reserve time slots online in advance in order to enter the museum, otherwise you will be denied entry as of this post. Very fun and stroller/handicap accessible. They have strollers and wheelchairs available for patrons to use also should you choose instead of bringing your own, however they are on a first come first serve basis. Outside of most entrances/exits you will also find umbrellas to shade yourself from sun and rain. There are many different types of art to find here, as well as a beautiful garden and view. Once you park, a tram transports you to the top.
Great free museum to visit over & over again. Plenty of art collections with free audio guide where u can spend all day easily here. Also, it has panoramic awesome view of LA.

I am not a art enthusiast but i loved the museum. In addition to the art the museum provides incredible views of Los Angeles. The park/garden around is also well maintained. I visited during the sunset time and got some breathtaking view.

First time there! Loved having a saved lot to park in. Amazing venue. I'm so glad I got to see Incubus there! Getting out was a bit tricky, but didn't take horribly long.

Really enjoyed visiting the Getty! It’s a free museum (however, there is a charge for parking). Once parked there’s a shuttle to take guests up to the entrance. On a beautiful day walking around the grounds is quite lovely. The exhibits were well curated and I enjoyed the variety too. I went on a weekday in the late afternoon and it wasn’t crowded, nor did I need a ticket in advance.

Beautiful architectural building full of culture and art - all in a city for free.
Be prepared to spent hours here lots of walking and stairs but worth every minute enjoying all the art. Several buildings to go through and a gorgeous garden. Note it gets hot bring a hat if you can. Otherwise there are limited umbrellas to use. Cafeteria is nice food a bit pricey but still great. Probably only slight issue it might not be kid friendly.
Definitely go to this place if you love art and architecture and be prepared to spend a full day enjoying the sights.
It was an outside event called KCRW Summer Nights with cultura y artes ....bars, food trucks and a band playing Jungle Fire .
It was a nice experience.

What an amazing venue! To see you with all these four seasons by the LA Phil. Went with friends and had dinner in one of the lower box seats followed by the concert. Totally gorgeous environment and so cool to hear the ambient small sounds of nature in the background every time the music came to a close. Very historic event, with architectural roots going back to Frank Lloyd Wright's son, Lloyd, back in 1928. So cool!

Beautiful location. Outdoor patio was perfect for the great concert 30 years of Chicano Rock music of Queztal.
I'm not a huge fan of the term Latinx. But the museum is very interesting and I'm glad there are places like this that support Mexican heritage in La. Plus it's free. Won't be here for more than an hour. The staff is friendly. Cute gift shop. They do events on weekends occasionally and have nice exhibition

What a great iconic venue to watch a concert. The sound system was on point and the screens were easy to view. We attended the Disney Animation concert and it blew away my expectations. Such a great performance especially with Broadway singers singing the lyrics. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Lots of different food options available and the Jumbo popcorn for $9 was a deal. Would highly highly recommend using the park and ride shuttles as it made coming and going from Hollywood Bowl such a breeze. Such a great experience and can't wait to go back for another concert. I do not recommend parking at the Bowl as they double stack all the vehicles so you can't leave until the vehicles in front of you leave.

The bowl provides a fun loose atmosphere affordable fun, a great sound system and video coverage for full close up feed. The outdoor under the stars vantage make this complete picture special. You can bring your own food drink/ wine. It is a total win win. I attended The Quincy Jones Tribute. It was a great show. Enjoy some photos from the night.

Pros:
- Free admission: The Getty is free to enter and you can enjoy art from various eras and regions.
- Beautiful view: The Getty is located on the Santa Monica Mountains and offers a stunning view of LA. The garden and fountains are also very peaceful and beautiful.
- Various exhibition halls: The Getty has four main exhibition halls and a gift shop. Paintings, sculptures, photographs, etc. from Europe and the United States from the Middle Ages to the present are on display.

Cons:
- Parking fee: The Getty is free to enter, but the parking fee is $20. If you visit the Getty Villa on the same day, you only need to pay the parking fee once.
- Weather and shade: The Getty is located on the Santa Monica Mountains and can be very hot in summer with little shade. You should bring or rent an umbrella to block UV rays.
- Food and drink: The Getty has restaurants and cafes, but they are expensive and not very tasty. It’s better to bring your own food for a picnic. However, alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

See the Getty's collection of European and American art from the Middle Ages to the present against a backdrop of dramatic architecture, tranquil gardens, and breathtaking views from downtown L.A. to the sea. If you are looking for something fun to do in L.A

We traveled to California to see the Game of Thrones concert at The Hollywood Bowl for the first time.
We were pleasantly surprised by the venue's location nestled between the mountains. Every seat in the house had a great view, and we thoroughly enjoyed the concert. The acoustics were outstanding, and the sound quality was superb. The evening performance was particularly breathtaking under the stars, and it created a romantic ambiance. Overall, we fell in love with the venue and the whole experience.
You have the option to either bring your own food or purchase from the vendors outside of The Hollywood Bowl. However, it's worth noting that the food may be costly. Due to potential parking difficulties, it's recommended to use ride-sharing as a preferred method of transportation to The Hollywood Bowl.
Aside from the Game of Thrones themes and songs, the fireworks were the highlight of our experience and made it truly unforgettable.
Attending a music show at The Hollywood Bowl is a must-do for anyone seeking an unforgettable experience. You're bound to fall in love with it.
Beautiful old historic bank building rehabbed into a theatre center in the heart of DTLA. Great mission of the Latino Theatre Company and terrific people with heart. I saw two shows in their season and cannot wait to see more this year.
EXTREMELY, cool place to visit if u want to simply go for a great walk/hike and see Coyotes, deer, and possibly rabbits. Great, for camping out for a short while also just no overnight stays. Great space for a BBQ too if you're into that kind of thing! Very, relaxing kind a park to go to and to see the seismograph that is inside the observatory itself. Perfect, place to go for a first date in my opinion. #HaveFun💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Beautiful architecture, art, and landscaping. You can spend at least 3-4 hours here not only exploring the each building and their exhibits, but to stop and appreciate the buildings themselves.

In terms of the exhibits though, the Photo gallery is amazing. They have Tim Walker on display and rarely am I into photography, but he is so creative. Each segment is explained by what he is inspired by and then the subsequent photos reflect that inspiration. Absolutely creative and beautifully artistic pieces ensue. Highly recommended for even that exhibit alone.

We loved it here, only issue is parking. It is stacked ( everyone is parked and packed in parking lots), no exit till event over and everyone leaving. Great wooden bench seats and can rent a seat cushion for $1. Can bring your own food and drinks to some events, check event calendar first to confirm. We watched the 10th game awards and Jack Black came on twice. So awesome. Big screens to watch if you are further back, we were but will definitely visit again. Walk to bowl from parking is uphill, be ready.
Loved it so so good!!! Must see 👓 spectacular! 🤣🤓🧐😎🥳🥸💯👀
Saw "Hostage" here today, and really enjoyed the show as well as the theater..Wonderful theatre company offering excellent performances and innovative staging. Theater is very nice and has comfortable seating.
We were welcomed by a girl who explained to us about the show and gave us some pamphlets.
They sell wine and other alcoholic beverages. You can take your glass inside he theater.
Pay parking is around $5 and just around the corner from the venue. Free street parking also available--read signs!

I love this venue for plays. It seats a few hundred people but is still intimate. I've seen a few plays here and the productions are always top notch with name actors, Broadway caliber production values and I always have enjoyed the plays. Good seats are affordable and parking is easy and cheap in the surrounding area including a parking structure just right of the theatre. A great outside patio with a fountain and large inside lobby are available for drinks before the show. Highly recommend!
Griffith Observatory is an observatory in Los Angeles, California on the south-facing slope of Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park. It commands a view of the Los Angeles Basin including Downtown Los Angeles to the southeast, Hollywood to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the southwest. The observatory is a popular tourist attraction with a close view of the Hollywood Sign and an extensive array of space and science-related displays. It is named after its benefactor, Griffith J. Griffith. Admission has been free since the observatory's opening in 1935, in accordance with the benefactor's will.
We visited this place back in December of 2018 and enjoyed the views. Here are some pictures that we took.
This museum is incredible. Brilliant and bright art work, comprehensive history exhibit, and consciousness raising exhibit about the dangers migrants face with crossing the border because of American policies.

I wish there was more information about the Indigenous Peoples of LA but this is an extremely moving and engaging museum. The surrounding area is beautiful as well with lots to do and places to eat.
There is absolutely no better place in downtown Los Angeles to hold an event especially non-profit events like Latina Fest. I always have a great time. Thank you Belle Hernandez the organizer

We are working with Josh here at the center and he has been very helpful in helping facilitate this housing available through the city as well as any other service we have needed he has made himself available I just hope that %we get into our apartment soon as we signed our paperwork in October and it is now almost February and we're not moving in yet but fingers crossed.
We saw the play The Inheritance and had an absolutely lovely time.
The theater is charming, comfortable and the staff were super friendly and helpful.
The concession area is very good, and the outdoor patio area is a lovely place to mingle with other guests.
The play was incredible, with lessons that transcend generations, orientation and heritage.
A touching storytelling of the human experience.
Free! Lots of information about the latinos of LA. Beautiful artworks and documentation of immigrants across the borders.
Excellent small theater company produces original plays, many by local writers.

Acting and production values are first-rate.

Lots of restaurants nearby (like House of Pies) so you can make a night of it!

Incredible organization. Truly a unique offering to those who are less fortunate. There's a coffee morning for unhoused individuals, creative groups and caring staff. Love these guys!
Lovely theatre I downtown L.A.. I visited with a group of students on a field trip. The actors were amazing. Music, lighting, and digital images kept the play engaging and visually pleasing. I would recommend this 10/10. The play we enjoyed was Sleep With The Angels. It was an emotional roller coaster that kept me wanting more. I enjoyed the humor and the references/ inclusion of Mexican folklore and tradition.

Playhouse with 2 different stages inside. Came here on a Sunday at 7pm to see Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf and had a fantastic experience. There’s paid lot parking ($20 at the Ralph’s) or you can try finding street parking (free after 8pm). Masks were required and enforced regardless of vaccination status. The restrooms were in the back far right, and there were two water fountains. During intermission, note that the entire restroom will blackout during the 5 minute and 2 minute warning. There’s a small outdoor patio for people to enjoy their drinks.

Inside, the seats were comfier than I was expecting. The theater was intimate and the view from Row N was still very close to the stage.

1st Harvest ,🎃

The A/C was awesome Sunday morning. I was shocked it was colder inside thank outside...

The entire floor was covered in cardboard paper, including the columns.

The theater must be preparing for some event. Since it was Sunday, there was no one to ask. 🤔

This an amazing venue to watch a show or play! I just saw the riveting Power of Sail featuring Bryan Cranston and it was absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere of the theater made the play come to life and the lighting and set designs were top-notch! This venue has a bar, clean restrooms and a courtyard where you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer with a light snack. The staff here are very professional, well-mannered and friendly! You must visit this theater and enjoy everything it has to offer, I’ll be coming back soon!
Cool place to visit with friends and family, specially kids. Specific shows require tickets to be purchased for entry, so one might want to plan their day ahead.
Finding Parking will be Challenging during weekends and public holidays as the observatory is a popular spot and attracts visitors from all over.
Weekdays it is closed! Spent the time in the park though

Love this place they try to help in any way they can. Julie is my favorite. Wish I could attend groups but just too far a walk for my pregnant body.
Though the actual observatory was closed, it was still amazing, it wasn't over crowded and the views amazing.
Thai community development center is a very helpful place. Very nice, friendly and helpful people. I just visited the lobby and the garden. The lobby has a beautiful antique design and the garden is lovely and peaceful.

I give it a five-star because they do help out people I'd they do help out the homeless tremendously but I do say if someone hits you in front of the center they will have a little meeting about whether you should receive services there or not even though that you are the one that got hit and assaulted so they would determine whether or not you should actually go there
A wonderful museum with cultural based exhibits. The front desk was welcoming and admission was free. The area around the museum is filled with culture and history. The exhibits themselves were also pretty interesting. I was only able to visit “LA Starts Here” and “Linda Vallejo” which we’re both on the first floor. There are more exhibits on the second floor, but didn’t have time to visit them. Both exhibits talk about the culture before Americans colonized California and also the discrimination and violent acts that they suffered against. The “Linda Vallejo” exhibit also had beautiful art works and statistics about the Latino population. Overall, the exhibits were interesting and was definitely worth the visit.
Wonderful, thriving playwright-based company!
I Had a great session with the cast, director, and producer of Never Is Now today as a musical consultant!

This place is "FANTASTIC"
It’s been years since I been coming to the Observatory and I am always impressed. Love science, our amazing universe, new discoveries, and the grand view of LA basin... definitely a place to check out or hang out for the weekend.
Was in a number of shows here from 2013-15 the space has changed considerably since then though. Love that they always give space to local playwrights, they are an invaluable part of the Los Feliz community!

Do you have an official relationship with Skylight Books? Always have been curious about that.
Good people. Historic building being restored.
If you haven't been to this jewel of Mexican culture and art, you're missing a two story, professionally done space with changing exhibits. Historical and contemporary depictions of Mexican life in Los Angeles; depicted using brilliant photography, video and recreated street life spaces. It's free and open every day except Tuesday.

This team of outreach specialists and volunteers are a huge blessing. Especially their group facilitators and case managers like Elyse Schwartz who works so efficiently and gets so much done because she, like the rest of the team actually care. The brilliant way they are able to network with other teams with a specific needs protocol enable them to trouble shoot and find solutions fast and efficiently. They also saved my life and helped me find housing. They are a huge blessing. I highly reccomend! <3

The staff and volunteers here are some of the kindest and most caring people I've found in Hollywood. They provide a safe place for homeless of all walks of life. They help with housing, finding community resources and spiritual development through meditation and yoga classes. All at no cost. If you're homeless or you know someone who is, you really should stop by and see what they have to offer. It's a special place.
This is a great place to meet the people of the city. The center has a super friendly and helpful staff. They seem to care a lot for their fellow brothers & sisters. There great groups like yoga and morning start. they also serve free coffee from 9-10am
Great place to learn with beautiful views. You must pay $4/hr for parking and if the observatory is busy you could end up walking a mile in hot weather. There is closer parking but it fills up quickly. If you have the option take a tour bus that drops you off at the top do that. There is a food stand and a cafeteria (pricey but an option to hydrate) Also water fountains and bathrooms out side the observatory.

I have come at least 7 times since it’s close to my job. It’s so nice to see all the art but don’t expect to be able to finish it all within 4 hours. I think it would take a whole day to complete but that sounds awesome to me because all the art is so beautiful. Especially the French area. Love the gift shop and found my new favorite tea there. Anytime friends want to know something to do, I always recommend going here. Took my husband for his first time there as well. Great date, adventure, or just study and chill location. They have a cafe that has foods like sandwiches and chips as well as some sweet treats. They also serve beer/wine if that’s your thing. There are also 2 other restaurants on the premises but when I went it was a very limited menu so I didn’t end up trying anything. According to the servers the portions are about the size of a baby bowl but for the price of a feast yet also mediocre quality. So I personally don’t recommend but if you really want the Beverly Hills experience and to feel fancy, I’d recommend other places than this restaurant. However it doesn’t change my opinion on the museum itself. I never bought or reserved a ticket and never had issues going in. They always say that next time I will need to reserve but I’ve gone so often without doing that so go at your own risk if you don’t want to reserve a ticket.
The space has so much potential and is great for hosting events. There is alao some history surrounding the vault door near the restrooms. Pretty cool. And the theater downstairs is an amazing space for performances. I attended a KPCC event here.
Wonderful theatre company offering excellent performances and innovative staging. They pick great and interesting scripts to do, with engaging stories to tell. Theater is very nice and has comfortable seating. Pay parking is around $5 and just around the corner from the venue. Street parking also available--read signs!

Cutting edge, alternate lifestyle, theater company in Silverlake with trendy new shows often by local up-and-coming writers and talent.
Small intimate and unique theatre. Looking forward to more outstanding performances at this venue.
Got to see the first preview of El Grande Circus de Coca Cola last night and had the best time! The theatre is intimate and you feel like you are part of the show. We had a blast... the show was hilarious. The theatre is also in a great area with a ton of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Super fun time!
