Couldn’t get shelter didn’t meet the requirements so. I guess I’m meant to stay
Incredible! The help line has been INCREDIBLE support and resources. I just called and had a 15 minute + call for resources, information and support to help a beloved sister friend.
This is such a miserable shelter. The victims are kind, amazing and supportive but the staff are horrible and they mistreat the people here. I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy, let alone someone I love and care about. Next time, I'll take my chances with my abuser than to be treated like garbage by the very miserable women staff here.
Horrible experience trying to use this resource. I was fortunate enough to find help through DC although I owned property in Upper Marlboro MD at the time. My personal experience with the staff was very unprofessional and simply malicious.

Through this review I hope that training is done to combat the ignorance that I experienced through this call center. Anyone who truly needs help in PG county shouldn’t be refused or turned away, especially those who have no family or friends within the area.
Closed due to Covid at this location
I'm just upset that I had to be out by 620am to head to work and someone was parked right behind my vehicle blocking me in I went back to the front door to buzz in and nobody answered the door. I rung the buzzard multiple times then I proceeded to call the hotline and the first call was 6 min long on hold then somebody hung up the 2nd call on hold they hung up after 3min. For this to be a domestic violence shelter and a domestic violence hotline I expect better policies in order to prevent things like this. I'm not looking forward to my time here. I pray I'm able to find housing asap as I dont think I can bare this for long.
Very helpful & caring. Private & confidential.
This place is horrible and the staff don’t care about providing service. I am a student at UMBC and contacted this place in order to interview one of their counselors for 10 minutes maximum. I called this place 6 times. I left 3 messages to counselors and 3 messages with the front desk. I was told that someone would contact me soon. A week later I called to check on my situation and was told that the supervisor (I believe his/her name is Sherman) and other counselors were not willing to help. They should be ashamed that they treat people like this. They could have at least let me know from the beginning that they would not help. Stay away from this place. I had to give a star so I could post this review but they don’t deserve any stars
The Nature Conservancy does amazing work keeping the protected lands in Tennessee, the US, and around the world protected as they should be. They're first on my yearly donation list.
Everyone needs to contribute to their mission.
