I would give them even less than 1 if possible. I scheduled a few pieces of furniture for donating in excellent condition. They were so obnoxoius and rude when they came to pick up and refused to talk to us and even their supervisor who was on the phone did not have any decency to talk properly to someone who is donating. As the items were not lined up in the garage but was at the front door, I even offered to bring the items to the garage but they refused to wait for even 2 minutes. This kind of behavior gives a very very bad name to Habitat and I will recommend anyone who is donating to never ever give your hard earned money or furniture to them.

Has a little of everything in here. The 1 place that caught my eyes was the books. I picked up 4 books and it was a total of $4-$5. Got both soft and hard covered books. Everyone there was friendly.

When you're looking for that special item that you might find elsewhere but pay an arm & a leg. This place has it at really low prices. A wide variety of antique furniture. Well worth the trip

This place definitely has vintage everything, it was a treat to walk through. Its a great place to find furniture at a really discounted price, used of course. Pretty stuff, like floral lamps, vintage tea and plate sets. A lot of paintings. Its a big place and has a lot of stuff. Definitely worth checking out.

Rating a 5 overall because I haven’t had a bad experience. In fact, I left some shelves from a hutch i purchased and thankfully two (business) days later the workers immediately knew when I asked and grabbed them (with my info thankfully tagged on it). I was very happy with that. These are a few things I wish this store had, not knocking it, but comparing to other habitat stores (which also are much larger).
1. More stock. Goes without saying. I sometimes visit 3X a week when I’m on the hunt for something and find day to day things hardly move. But also this is second hand and large purchases…of course it doesn’t move.
2. Sold items don’t get removed and replaced with new items. I won’t knock the review because this is HIGHLY location dependent, and they’re doing the best with what they have (I guarantee they don’t have space in the back to put sold items)- but man, I wish they could remove sold items and put new stock there. I don’t want to see stuff I missed out on, I want to see what’s still available.
3. More floor space specifically dedicated to kitchen tables and shelves/ hutches. I am biased however- these are the items I’m after.
4. I understand they’re branching out into clothing…but honestly, the space should be reclaimed. I’ve browsed it a few times as an avid goodwill shopper and I’ve come to the consensus that they don’t have enough space to be impactful with clothing. I’d rather they donate it to the community, and free that space up for something else. I would not be opposed to something more community based like local business’ items (candles, art, heck even branded habitat for humanity t shirts/totes/fanny packs, etc). But the beauty of a goodwill is that 99% won’t be your size or taste but that 1% is. With habitat only dedicating a corner- you can’t possibly overcome those odds.
That’s pretty much it, and like I said- my list is just me nitpicking. I’ve found many of the people at the desk are the least helpful, but all the workers in the back and on the floor are wonderful and do their best to keep the store running like clockwork.

Really an awesome place to go to in Manville. I was not aware but students get 25% off at least when we went there. There is tons of stuff for decently fair prices and it supports a good cause. I have been here multiple times and have never left empty handed. The staff is also very nice, funny, and helpful.

One of my favorite locations! I bought so many cute pieces for my apartment here, and all so cheap. Good variety of artwork, though some pieces are very expensive; others more reasonably priced.

This is a very well organized and brightly lit thrift type donation center where bargains can be found on gently used furniture, small electronics, books, kitchenware, curtains, etc. with the proceeds going toward building homes in Somerset & Hunterdon counties. Donations are accepted here and friendly, helpful volunteers staff the store.
