Brilliant parking and disability access. Visited here to watch a friend's hockey game. Parking was easy, close to the entrance of the stadium. Visibility was very good and the location was shielded from the worst of the wind.

Park is lovely. Big trees and large grassed area.

What great park and off lead area for pets. Everyone is very friendly and so chilled with their dogs. No one panics when they see another dog coming in their direction. In the heart of Cheltenham Vic, it's an easy walk to cafes and restaurants, and the train station is right next to the park. You can visit the historic cemetery which borders the park. If your heart desires bring you golf clubs as it is next door to the Gold course. Awesome,so much going for it. Make a day of it!

Expansive dog park with allocated on-lead and off leash areas. My dog especially loved the exercise circuit

This is one of those best kept secrets - Cheltenham Park has them all - even it’s very own Golf Course !- not to mention more local history and atmosphere which all form the backdrop to a magnificent New Railway Station which stands above the quid-essential Victorian shopping strip - love it x
Off leash for dogs. Ovals for sports with the kids, family and friends. BBQ and benches also provided. Public toilets on site too. Would be great for a sunny day out .

Nice open space for people and dogs. Also a nature area with trees and Birdlife. Lots of facilities, well kept and easy parking access.
This is such a beautiful park. It's a simple pedestrian walk across the road from DFO, and neighbouring the Cheltenham/Moorabin RSL. "Friendly park" is an appropriate name for this place. It's a reserve for diverse people. There is a playground for kids with a drinking tap, picnic tables, and toilets nearby. There are walking/running trails, a footy oval, soccer pitch, an open/public tennis court, a basketball ring and more. The scenery is great, especially on a sunny day.

Just had a quick amble around section behind train station. Nice walking paths, lots of usual trees, shrubs, bench seating. Next to cemetery. I know Chelt Park is massive but only had 5 mins. Worth visiting.
One of the best cricket grounds i have played at.. was playing the winter league and after some rain.. the turf surprisingly wasn't too damp and the wicket held its composure for the duration of the match. Lot of activities like hockey and baseball were going on

This park is a local haven for bird life. Both native and invasive species are found here, including Rainbow Lorikeets and Wattlebirds. There are lots of good private spots to sit and enjoy the sounds and sights, as well as many walking paths that lead to different bush surroundings, making it an interesting place to go for a stroll within walking distance of shops and train station.

The only thing that could be improved is the litter. Some of the more secluded parts of the park seem to be used by groups drinking alcohol and leaving their rubbish behind.

Great space pleanty of room to explore. Excellent for families and pets, mostly an on leash area for dogs, but with many trails through the park its easy to spend time in. Pleanty of surrounding ovals, picnic areas, seating and playground so easy to social distance evrn when busy. Close to the train and bus stations too.
Lovely park. A sizable playground kids, great place for family gathering, quite a few BBQ stove. Also an oval for a kick. Wish there are more covered table. Large car park as well.

So much wonderful nature to play in! Better than TV that's for sure. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to feel like they are out bush.
Close to transport and pram friendly. Would not recommend bringing children's bikes or scooters as some tracks are too rough.
Dog friendly.

Lovely dog park with a small agility track and plenty of open space. Off-leash dog park area is clearly marked, with the rest of the area being on-leash only.

There's a children's play area, picnic areas and toilet facilities in the park, alongside various sport pitches and tennis courts.

Great park, would definitely recommend for dog owners.
A nice park with picnic tables in shade. Some play equipment suited to younger kids. Very close to Cheltenham shops/station. No BBQS though. The gates are kiddy proof. Plenty of grass to run around andexplore
Lots of play equipment

And you can get free wifi from the library that next door 😉
Small park. Good for toddlers.
This is a great little park, just off the main drag. It's a quiet place to chill out and have a coffee, away from the busy main shopping centre. It also serves as a lovely view from the Cheltenham Library building next door . There is seating by the shady trees and play equipment for the kids.

Great park with lots of open spaces and plenty of shade. There are undercover tables with bbq facilities and a public toilet at the park. The playground is suitable for children of all ages and there is a large oval behind the park. It's a nice spot.
Awesome park with lot of rides and fitness equipments.
My daughter loved this place and she didn't want to go home even though she was tired after playing for long time.
Many people I see here with tents who came here since morning and still enjoying.
And yes great thing is, Bbqs are available to use. Awesome!
Great playground for little kids. Close to library, so pick up a book too! Plenty of trees for shade and benches for lunch.
Great little park
