Could be a nice countryside site, but the state of the paths means it’s downright treacherous. A severe injury just waiting to happen here. The appalling state of the so called paths is bad for the site too, because people are forging new paths through the woodland in a desperate attempt to avoid falling over in the mud. Terrible.

Never disappointed when I visit. The scenery is amazing and clean. If your passing through walsall don't miss out on seeying Arboretum! And if feeling peckish or want a warm drink then pop in to the cafe. Enjoy! 😊

Nice place for a walk, kids bike or scooter ride. Plenty of green space, an ice cream van, kids play area, cafe and pools to walk around. Large, free car park on the Broadway.

It could be a really nice park, but it's lacking a bit of tlc in many areas. It's still nice for a walk, i suppose. It probably would benefit from a warden doing the rounds occasionally to prevent drug taking in one particular area of the park. Might as well build some houses on it if the council can't maintain it, that would be a better use of the land, Can't say I'll be going again

Nice park, but could do with some upgrades on park equipment in play area
Very calm area best for morning walks, jogging, exercising and other activities. Good for gatherings, picnics, or just to spend your day in nature. Good fishing spot and lots of birds too. Recommended to visit

Great park and water/splash park. Toilets on site are very basic, had no toilet paper and doors didn't lock properly, but park was very busy.

Free parking on Broadway but it's a 15 minute walk to the park. There is also a big pond to walk around and lots of walks through trees. Ideal for pushchairs, bikes and scooters.

Fantastic place to bring the kids. Even moreso when the weather is suitable for kids to get wet. Large grounds, free parking, two playgrounds plus this supercool water splash area. All free entry.

Very clean neat peaceful place Green 💚 I was walking without shoes 👟 to get me grounded. Earthing, also known as grounding, involves standing or walking barefoot on the ground. This can be done on the grass in your yard, soil or mud in a nearby park or forest, or sand at the beach. The goal is to walk barefoot while paying close attention to the soles of your feet as they connect with the earth's surface.

Although the park is ok, sadly people visiting do not adhere to certain rules. Watching their children, littering and letting dogs inside a small park. This place does need a clean up, plenty of rubbish bins around. Great for walks and a bike ride, just wish it was a better environment for smaller kids

Absolutely beautiful park in Walsall great for family walks never had a problem and they've also fixed the park abit compared to how it used to be for many years apart from the locals ruining the new equipment other then that I would definitely recommend this park to anyone who just enjoys the outside beautiful views

A good park with play facilities, sculptures, basketball court and a bandstand. The pathways are all in good order - it's about 1km circular route. The outdoor gym facilities are also excellent - two areas and both in good condition (see photos).

It's not great for dog walking. Broken glass almost everywhere. Afternoon and evenings can be get rowdy with teenagers, they can get destructive , burning waste bins, breaking leisure centre windows. Can be pleasant when there are no kids trashing the place.

I don't rate the park well. There is no playground. Not enough benches to sit. There is a skate park, but often in the afternoons the crowd is not interesting and people are afraid to go there with their children. Tennis courts closed. In fact, there is nothing to do with children if they do not take their bicycles, scooters or ball from home. At the end of the park, at the school gate, it's always dirty. Garbage is everywhere.
A fairly quiet park,It's quite small. There is a section that is wooded. It also has a play area for children.

It’s slowly getting better, more outdoor benches, outdoor gym area and kids play park
Pleasant small local park, small playground, zip wire, 'gym' and nice forest to explore
Really nice place to visit... waterside park with rides for children, walking area, exercise machines and much more but loo closes at 3.30

Lovely park area. It's a shame when local (maybe) children just litter the park and bins are available. No playground swings for young children or slide. It has a skateboard area and basketball area, a bowling green and x2 tennis courts that I understand you need to book via the council to use. Local football practice at the weekends. It's nice to see people using the park area. Local dog walkers also present.

Could do with a loo. Took my 3 little ones the other day, they loved it but there was a bit of a drama when they needed the loo. We had to pop to a friend's house close by.

This has the best outdoor gym in the whole of the West Midlands. The only reason I visited. The rest of the park is basic and there's not much in the local vicinity. But 5 stars for fitness.
It's lovely here Free parking. Beautiful views
Brilliant play area and woods with a plastic path. Great for dog walkers and families alike
Great place to take the kids, plenty of space, playground,or just feed the ducks
Good place for a walk or take kids few hours

The Walsall arboretum is once again a stunning and beautiful place to go with your family. Youngsters included.
And I don't know how they have managed it but it's on now like it was when I myself was a kid in the 70's. Friendly, no loitering asbo contenders, just good people of all ages. Great facilities too. And I love the knew café on the lake.

Cat.

It's OK to walk the dogs round. Decent car park. Very noisy due to it running alongside the M6 but not bad for a quick walk out. There is a small playground and some courts there.
Dirty, a shame. Dangeorus with motorcycles around and crossing.
Great fishing. Lost my vcard here but perfect place to take kids
Sunny afternoon
A great place to fish quietly
The road beside the park is really loud

I use to go here as a child and returned after 25 years. There has been some moderate improvements. For size of the park it's ok. Parking on site and an open fields from one side to another, in-between is the play area which consists of one swing, a climbing frame , and couple of more play devices. Age range from toddler's to age 12. Dog walkers are also present.
Love this place 2 hours to walk around the lake with a park and railway station there with other water sports would strongly recommend

Nice and clean..we went to the Hope charity super heroes event. Later we went to play area. Play area was fenced off and clean. Play apparatus was nicely spaced out. There were a few fields for sports activities.
Plenty of space to park, no lines unfortunately so when busy people can talk up too much space. Very reasonable price. Pay and display only. Only accept cash only.

good dog walking spot
Seems to be a clean, safe playground again after a period of being a bit run down. Playground, football and basketball Space, zip line, small bike track, woodland and open grass space all with lovely views.
Walsall council run park

Gentle paths with plenty of benches to take a rest if needed.

Free Car park (but does close early in the winter) some roadside parking when car park is closed.

Great place for a dog walk! Can be run off the lead.

There is are football pitches, zip line and fenced off children's play area, 5 a side goal and basket and adult outdoor gym equipment

Paths both tarmac and woodland, woodland is managed and has man made paths that stay mud free

It is quite exposed so wrap up warm in a breeze

Wished I could be more enthusiastic about this place but unfortunately I only walk through it to get to another park. Adjacent to it is a large activity centre which I’ve only ever been in to have my covid vaccinations but it does look impressive if you’re a gym type person. It’s a green space in a drab area so for that alone it gets the thumbs up 👍
Good for dog walking swings and slides for children, also wooded area and football fields

Nice circular walk. Pleasant and generally well looked after and near canal. Some bits of glass at times so be careful with dog on path.
Life saver. Almost lived at this park during the last 12months. Its quiet, never busy with a little playground for kids, a small woods, football pitches basketball ball court and outside gym equipment.
If you want to avoid the crowds like at banners gate then this is the park.

It's a lovely field great for playing football or walking the dogs. But be very careful there are motorbikes that constantly use this as race track and there are fires always being started. It had a lovely playground but has been vandalised. It's all about getting there at a good time.

Nice quiet park , popular with dog walkers. Nice little play area for kids up to age 12 . Football pitches and a multi use games area and Tennis court . There was once a manor house on this site around the 18c and the remains of a moat can be made out along a line of trees by the community centre / changing rooms . It's a real shame about the old Park lodge on site which is now in a near derelict state but still holds some of its charm , alas it looks destined for demolition

Good for children and evening walk. Can sit down and gossip for hours in summer sun at entrance or can grab a football and start kicking it in the football ground at the other end or maybe basketball with friends in the middle. You can get some cardio exercise while your kids enjoying the swings and slides.
