Nice little park 🏞️
This small parkette is at Broadview Avenue and Hillside drive intersection and next to couple of High risers. The park has benches and a couple of big trees.

Its a 10km of natural trail with a diverse population of birds. There are some amazing views of Toronto skyline around the corners. It is really a popular escape into the nature in the middle of the city.

These are dirt trails and includes some steeo sections and is rated as intermediate level trails.

There are other trails around to explore as well like the Sun Valley Trail and the Cottonwood Flats Trail. You could see the pictures uploaded along with the review. I have covered all these trails along with the Lower Don Parklands.

Parking is available with the Loblaws and Starbucks. There are restrooms you can use there or buy something to eat on your trail.

Dogs are allowed. Trails are suitable for all age groups be it children or elders or even older people. There are bike trails also available. You could see the dog walkers along the trail. The Don river just gives a picturesque landscape to the whole trail. There are hills and trees all around. There is an abandoned railway line bridge on top of the river with some cool graffiti.

It is also known for mountain biking. So get your MTBs and helmets and get set going. Overall, it was a nice experience and we did this in fall. Can't wait for the spring to go there again for all the colors.

Thanks and share the review with your friends if you like it. ☺️

Great little park, especially for toddlers. There's a large area for dog exercise and for children to run around

This was a great little spot in city... Large ominous area of trees chopped down with big hills beavers would go NUTS if they got a hold of all that. .. some brick oven I see why they call it an oven if u know wat I mean ... Saw some remains of children toys ... Sacrifice? Hopefully nor 😊

Lots of cute trails, easy and leveled. The water makes it pretty. Download your maps, their instructions are a bit misleading.

We went hiking here and liked some of the parts of the trail (foresty, shady); other parts were not so nice - just gravelly roads.

There are several levels of trails, mainly designed for biking.

Parking lot is big, however, it says it’s for Loblaw’s customers only.

No restrooms available.

Ample amount of parking next to Loblaws. The trail consist of narrow pathways, up and down trails and lots of shaded areas. There were a lot of bikers along the path but everyone was courteous to just move to the side. There are a lot of pathways that bring you back to the beginning.

It’s even more beautiful during the fall!

Overall, enjoyed it.

5star* the best, the toughest and the roughest MTB trail in Ontario. So many trails to explore on both sides of the cliff. It will take a few hours or days to experience all of them.

Crothers Woods - Beautiful in the Spring and Fall

This wooded trail is perfect for hiking during the spring/summer and fall seasons.

There are trails for walking and biking but be careful of bikers. The trails are hilly.

In the fall, you see a canopy of leaves above you and you walk in a canopy of fallen leaves. It is perfect for those looking for fall photographs.

Very beautiful park to relax. Not too Big but its cozy. A few swings and sandbox etc for the kids with a Wonderful view of the East side of Taylor Creek Entrance. Not too noisy as the neighborhood is a quiet one. In all an excellent place to spend some time if you have it to spend.
Amazing area and trails. Love all of the sights and although the trails can be challenging it's worth the trip just for the views. You can enter from Beechwood Drive and if the gate is open across the road there's parking at the bottom. We hiked in two different directions from the Beechwood and Crothers Woods sign and it was so nice out. Nice to see the Don River frozen over and interesting as it never seems to freeze over closer to the city.
Lots of ducks along the way and they seem to enjoy sitting on the ice and jumping into the water occasionally. Great area for families, children and we even passed a family with a 4x4 stroller.
Many bikes passing us even though the trails were covered in snow. People jogging, walking and bird watchers. Many dogs out enjoying time with there humans. Overall very interesting area and nice sights.

Nice playground for the kids. A few benches to sit on. Rolling greens for a stroll, well maintained.
Some cool shaded benches. Usually an exceptionally brisk breeze. Minor traffic noise

Always beautiful in every season. During winter it has the best sliding location in the neighborhood. During summer it is usually empty with very few kids playing (I don't know why because the park is well maintained).

Great park I take my son all the time. But what are the city workers putting in the grass???? My dog rolls in the grass every time he goes there and comes back smelling like death. There was nothing in the grass where he rolled. Never have I had a dog roll and smell so bad in my life. Take care of the field more please. I have to boycott this park with my dog now and I have no other park to take him to.

Donora Park is a hidden gem for tobogganing. A good sized hill for kids as young as three. Just be mindful of the ravine-don't go beyond the bushes or you'll find yourself in the creek. In summer the playground is never too crowded. It's a great park to let your furry friend run around, too!
Beautiful park
A nice green space.

A nice memorial park for Charles Sauriol who wrote about camping in the valley as a boy scout in the 1920's then build a cabin there when he became an adult.
