Play area has a metal grid upon entering. As someone who's paralysed and wheelchair bound. My manual wheelchair casters get wedged easily. I then get stuck. There is also no gate to stop my toddler running off out of the playground once I eventually get in with the help of the general public. Hence the grid flooring would prevent me going after him. He's 2.5yrs old. There should alsi be an age limit as teenagers take over the swings after school who are loud and obnoxious whilst toddlers are running around the swings as my Son does as he does no understand the potential dangers. Being wheelchair bound doesn't allow me to run after him. All I can do is shout which itself is embarrassing. The green floor covering in the play area is fantastic but again not wheelchair friendly but I'll deal with it as it keeps the little ones safe.
As for the car park again it's not wheelchair friendly! The car park itself is fine but the exit doesn't have dropped curbs either side. Again I have to ask strangers to help up and down the curb. All in all i don't recommend the play area for people like myself with a toddler.

Nice park, nothing there apart from a play ground, great for dog walking
Great park. Good activities and massive, CLEAN playing fields
Great place to get away from it all.Nice play area for the younger ones.
Set in a lovely location, there is ample car parking with spacious allocation for each vehicle. We didn't walk in the grounds but did visit the café. Oat milk cappuccino was very good. We had carrot soup, which was delicious, and the cauliflower & onion bhaji was a real treat. Very friendly staff and well-appointed café means we will definitely come here again. Oh, and it's dog-friendly too as long as you keep your pooch on a lead. Your mutt will love you forever if you buy him/her a tub of doggy ice-cream.
A beautiful, relaxing place to walk. This is a very special place. I have walked around in all weathers and unlike other places, it always feels quiet. This is because of the many trails allowing you to walk around and see very few people. Despite this, it is very safe. Surrounded by fences, they make a note of your entry time and how many people/ dogs to ensure that everyone is safe in the park. There is also an emergency number that can be called if needed. It is also perfect for rescue dogs or nervous dogs. All dogs must be kept on a short lead, and from my experience, people do follow the rules. A wildlife haven, with badger sets, deer, foxes, birds of prey and lots of butterflies. Rain, snow or sunshine, the walk is always different. Walking through a wooded area with 10+ deer running across the path - truly magical. So many spots to take photos with lovely views and beautiful ponds. The paths have also been covered with gravel and this helps a lot - when most places are muddy, Hagley Park often has many dry walks. The cafe is also lovely, affordable, great choice for vegetarian and vegans, dog friendly and very friendly staff. They have also recently opened a secure field for dogs. Cannot recommend more!!
Nice big open fields with ample parking.
Lots of childrens play facilities and football/basketball/ tennis courts.

Very quiet. Not so much a park but what was left of the countryside before they built a huge housing estate. It’s all up hill or down hill. A few benches. Small play area with climbing frames. A bowling green. Tennis courts.
I was in the area but I couldn’t see myself ever travelling there on purpose.
This park recently had 5 LTA tennis courts put in which I originally thought was brilliant as the old tennis courts were run down. I was excited to try the new courts until I discovered it costs £5 a hour to use them. The old courts were free.

Willenhall park in Wolverhampton also has 2 LTA tennis courts which are free to book through the parks own website. And Mary Stevens park in Stourbridge also has free tennis courts...

Tbh, in the cost of living crisis everything now costs money, and people are struggling. It not a great time to start charging people to use the facilities in their local park...

Please consider making them free again. It will improve the mental and physical health of locals, encourage families to get into sports and foster local relationships. At this price it's reserved for David Lloyd members and older kford residents rather than the (on average) younger, less affluent, residents of Wordsley.

Edit: £5 may not seem like much to some, but if you want to go regularly it becomes the price of another gym membership and when there are cheaper options locally this is unfeasible.

We went to a clay project held in the park. The end results will be part of a larger display about the nature around us.
We were 2 adults and a 3 year old. We collected leaves for our impressions from around the park. Rolled out our clay and we were off. Great morning work. We will visit the end work.
Visited Hagley Park to do the halloween trail with my family. It wasn’t quite what I expected but it was still fun. Some of the ‘places of interest’ were good to see.
I think it’s a bit expensive for what it is though. I understand if they need money for ‘upkeep’ but I do think it’s a rip off and shouldn’t be costing more than £10 per family to walk round a few trees and fields.
Staff were mostly friendly, altho one of the staff members made me a bit uncomfortable asking for everyone’s ages even though it didn’t make a blind bit of difference to the tickets we were asking for.
So all in all, it was ‘okay’.
Visited Hagley Park for a delightful walk around the grounds with my furry friend. The beautiful landscapes and serene atmosphere made for a perfect outing. A must-visit for nature enthusiasts and dog lovers!

Visited to referee a girls junior football match. Great venue wonderful and environment for the children to play in.

Not enough car parking spaces. Street parking or nearby train station can be used.

Lovely park close to me to have a walk through or sit and relax for an hour if you just want some time out from the hustle and bustle of the day. There are tennis courts and the grounds are well kept (probably due to to the council having an office there) kids play area is well maintained. Plenty of parking on site covered with cctv but always keep your valuables hidden or in the boot of the car. It is popular with dog walkers, i just wish they kept them all on leads as not everyone is a fan of dogs or the mess they leave behind (hence the 4 stars) Plenty of bins provided for your rubbish. Ideal for a walk any time of the year.
It's a good park the girls love it here and sometimes takes the dog for a walk here so many lovely people there who stop and have a chat with
Its a nice friendly park lovely open space dogs welcome aswell
Absolutely loved our visit today. Purchased a season ticket. Felt safe on my own with Edward my rescue dog. Staff were lovely. Edward liked his treats. Beautiful scenery and history.. looking forward to visiting again and through the changing seasons. And the best vegan sausage rolls ever x
We bring our dog here to play and run around also my son loves playing on the park here.
What a beautiful place! We thoroughly enjoyed our walk today at the park and would definitely recommend. All the staff are so polite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Great facilities which were also clean and tidy.
So peaceful and you get a real sense of history amongst the woodland with its Palladian bridge, rotunda and Shenstone’s urn. The views are breathtaking especially at Milton’s seat! I also love the safety aspect, knowing you are safe and people are on hand in case of emergency on the trail.
Also, the rocky road slice was THE most delicious I’ve ever tasted and I’ll certainly be back just for that alone :)
Beautiful peaceful sensory garden
Great party in the park on Sunday in a nice and clean park. Would recommend anyone to go to sit and chill or have a picnic
Simply a superb place for a dog friendly walk and quality coffee afterwards. The staff are all lovely, the park is well managed and the views are stunning. Well worth the fee.
Brilliant park. Nice big new zip lines. Kids loved it. parking limited.

Beautiful place for a walk, but the little play area needs updating. The play equipment is very old and the roundabout is so rusty it hardly moves.
The sensory garden is lovely and they occasionally have volunteers who run cake and tea mornings.

Beautiful walks in this lovely park with a history to Wollescote Hall in the grounds and the sculpted statues made of wood depict the history.

Beautiful gardens at Wollescote Hall, situated at Stevens Park. Many paths, throughout the park, with a stream, at the bottom of the hill. Fantastic views, from the top of the hill and rolling parkland, with Tennis Courts and Children's Playground. Ample parking for vehicles. One of my favourite places.

It's ok the kids as there is a playground good for walking the dogs
Nice village green which doubles as playing pitches for school children. Good for a family walk, or walk with your dog. Grass has been torn up a bit over last year with water company putting in a sewage store under park, but it's beginning to recover now.

It's a nice area with play equipment for children and now an outside gym. Works by Severn Trent has partially closed off most of the field but hopefully that will be restored soon and there is an eyesore of a partially built football changing rooms that has been unfinished for a long time!

It's like having a slice of countryside right in the middle of town. Beautiful hall and gardens. Only thing that lets it down is lack of refreshments. Great for dog walking though.
