The new configuration is great! Miles ahead of what was here previously. The evidence is that I've seen more people walking and biking here on a Saturday morning than I've ever seen here before. Kudos to the traffic engineers.

The only observation I have is that I've already seen 3 people driving cars drive on the walk/bike path which is very dangerous and defeats the point of the new configuration. With a little enforcement this place could be perfect.

You can find there at least two playgrounds for your kids.

Took my granddaughter here today. It's a nice little park with a splash pad. She likes it. It was kind of muddy in some areas. Other than that, it is a nice place to bring the little ones

The splash park is really nice and it’s right where the stores are, they only down fall is that it’s across the street from Marvin Gaye Park that park is filled with junkies they sell any and everything in that park all day long. Also it’s a lot of crime that happened on Division Ave. I live within walking distance & I refuse to take my gbaby there because it’s to much crime right there.

This is my favorite place to walk. I can see Regan National Airport while Im working out. Plane with people are coming and going. Then on the other side I can watch people enjoying The Whaf going to restaurants, on boats, water taxi. In the park in it self are runners, skaters, bikers and walkers. You can watch the golfer's and tennis players. It's so awesome to workout here.
Large playground with several play areas: one for tiny tots and another for bigger kids with swings, climbing wall, slides, musical center, and kid's zipline. There is also an open green space (turf) and basketball court. Bathrooms are available. Plenty of benches and some tables. Street parking is available and can be somewhat difficult, but not impossible, to find a spot.

Really great park for kids under 10. Age appropriate sections with a water feature that all the kids loved right in the middle. Lots of sun coverage in the sidelines, and an open and clean bathroom with kids size utilities. Great spot.
I have been using Ft. Circle PARKS Greenway for a hiking connector from NW branch trail to Mt. Ranier/Franciscan Monestary and/or Ft. Totten and weekly for open air yoga class. Nice to have instead if paved streets in an urban setting.
Great place for picnic
Wow!! Not a family place young guys standing around drinking and smoking all

So much potential, but not maintained at all. Huge sections of the walkway are crumbling, fenced off, or inaccessible. Completely unacceptable since this park is just off the tidal basin. Do better National Park Service.

Has a recreation center with public bathrooms. Two playgrounds, one for the 4 and under crowd that is surrounded by a fence, and the other is for slightly older kids. There is a splash pad in between the two that is on from June to early October. There are also basketball and tennis courts, and ball fields. There are about 6 or 7 picnic tables spread about all these areas and lots of benches to sit. There are no grills, and I'm pretty sure barbequing is not permitted. The wheelchair and stroller accessible entrance is on the north side. Free street parking on 3 sides of the park. There is a fenced in area for dogs to run off leash across the street from the soccer field. The soccer field is not DPR property. It belongs to a school nearby. Overall, it is a clean and well maintained park in a nice, quiet neighborhood area. There are several coffee shops, restaurants, and a small deli about 1 mile north of this park, just off Massachusetts.

This is a neighborhood gem, occasionally marred by dog owners who refuse to leash their pets and let them tear up the well-groomed baseball fields and the tennis courts. Other than these thoughtless lawbreakerss, the park offers pickleball as well as an outdoor ping pong table - BYO equipment.
It's one of my favorite places in my city to just sit back and relax by myself or with my fiance and my kids

The centerpiece of Grant Circle is the colossal Himalayan cedar.

The Oct 5, 1939 Washington Post claims, "Petworth has worked to keep statuary out of Grant Circle--preferring cedar of Lebanon."

Other than the metal grates over a Metro power station build underneath the circle in 1998, the park maintains a high degree of its original integrity.

Needs more equipment like swings for kids to play, and benches to watch your kids while they play, restroom, water fountain, etc. Just an opinion...

Def needs some better land use. Plant some trees in the margins. Replace grass with some massive landscaping. Perhaps a large community garden installation and or dog park! Really an underutilized green space. Lots of potential...

The water is now on for Memorial Day.
Much needed for this heat!

Lots for the different ages to spend hours including baseball, tennis and basketball.
Toddler areas and bathrooms are well maintained and lots of stray toys to keep them busy as well.

Grew up facing the park. One thing I've heard my parents complain about is the pavilion tht is there. It serves it's purpose, but when not in use, it kind of does the exact opp. People can come just sit and watch houses. Slightly disconcerting if you were older and living by yourself...
This place used to be a great place to chill, and enjoy the weather and scenery. Now it's deplorable! Hang out spot for drunkards and dopers etc. Don't eat at any of the restaurants on that street.

Not much here. It's fun for running, physical activity or dog training. It's really wooded area and open field. Great for energetic kids to run off energy and descent picnic area. Bring ALL you own supplies nothing offered.

Very lovely park. Only problem are the Cyclist pretending that they’re there to ride their bicycle and exercise when a few of them will commit crimes like pulling up to your parked vehicle and trying to steal your purse. This happened to me and I drove after him and he threw my purse on the ground and continued to ride. I took a picture of him which is uploaded. Please be careful.

We had a great time. As we see the whether is changing and the summer is at the end. However they had the last event at Fort Circle Park, nice park big and clean. Last Saturday, was a fun day with party folks.

Children had a dance contest with the parent and other supporting them. All the kids are winner in my eyes.

People was just glad to be out during these hard times wearing mask and social distance. We dance 💃 like it was our last dance.

DC Thanks so much for this beautiful event.

I appreciate a big open space in DC, where the city did not feel obligated to build anything. It is well maintained, despite some trash. I do think the city should prohibit motorcycles on the grass. A few weeks ago, I watched one drive right through a group of children playing games. It was really unsafe and uncool.
Beautiful circle, better name for the circle

Short street on my home from U street going to logan circle. A surprising little park. Some benches and tables often a couple of people with laptops. A nice meeting place eith flowers a d!a few trees in blossom. It open railings to residencs opposite side of the street gives it a safe feeling. If there is sunshine dress cool take a hat. Simetimes i see fathers pushing push chairs around. Place for a quiet sandwich. There is a corner shop i havent tried yet. Take a book read for an hour.
What a great place. We happened to run into one of the community members that takes care of the park and he was a fountain of knowledge about the history of the park and neighborhood.

It was September 21, 1976, when the car in which Orlando Letelier was traveling with his secretary Ronni Moffitt and her husband, exploded in the heart of Washington, USA, thus becoming the first terrorist act of a foreign government in the American capital.

This is a great little park. I’ve seen people have picnics in the summer, chill with their dogs, and organized events. The neighbors even decorate for Halloween, Christmas, etc. It’s nice to have this green space in the neighborhood.
A very good neighborhood playground! We enjoyed it with the baby and his car!

Nice neighborhood park with lots of space. Don't expect any facilities or even benches, just grass. But this is what makes it appealing to me, just open space and trees, nothing built up. Can usually see deer here. Fields are interrupted by roads, so has several sections. Has garbage in some spots at times due to people littering.
Great place for toddlers and preschoolers to get fresh air and play. Not a playground but open space with tables with built-in seats. L
Plenty of flowers to view.
It's a great park with a good variety of activities for kids off all ages. The artificial grass field is great. The only downside is the broken zip line which I assume was taken down for safety reasons. All in all, wonderful.
It's a nice little public park with some benches. Nice embassies, statues and memorial nearby, including historical information about the assassination of Orlando Letelier and Ronnie Karpen-Moffit, which happened at the circle in the 70s.

Great little shady refuge in an otherwise fairly urban setting. Would love it if the fencing here could be closed during the day for dogs but walking through on leash is still great!

Great place to take the family, picnic, fish, or just relax
The playground itself is GREAT! The teenagers who smoke weed, cigarettes, and loudly swear literally on the playground picnic tables-not so much. I found a switchblade in the mulch of the toddler playground, I wish I was making that up. Police-please monitor this space so that it is safe for the children that it was built for!

One of the best playgrounds I've been to in the area. It has separate areas for the tiny tots and older kids. A few swings, benches, picnic tables under shade and my 16 month old could actually really climb, slide and interact with the playground structure. Bark chips keep the ground cleaner and gates keep kids contained.

This is a nice playground with two play areas. One area is enclosed for smaller kids and the other area is for the older kids. The enclosed play area has a large sand lot. There are plenty of benches and shadey spots to watch your children play or have a picnic. Adjacent is an open field, a basketball court, and tennis courts. There are bathrooms in the recreation center on the grounds. There is free street parking available.
A nice place to test your national flag skills as this circle, not quite as large as Dupont several blocks down Mass. Ave. is in the heart of Embassy Row.

This beautiful little Park is named after the commandant of the Yard during the Civil War John Dahlgren who was a good friend of President Lincoln who often visited him at the Navy Yard.
It's a nice open park . My grand daughter goes in there and has a ball. You as parents cN sit while the kids kids just play either on the hall or run around

Park is well kept. Opens at 6am and closes at 8pm. People have held events here. Nice place to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Dogs have to be kept on their leach at all times in the park. You must clean up behind your dog.

Super fun zipline and music tag games. Great playground structure with slides and ladders and a small climbing wall. The toddler area seems good as well. Decent swing sets and splash pad in the summer. Cleanliness could be better, so help pick up a bit of extra trash when you visit.

Stop by any morning to see a man doing Tai Chi and chanting between the trees. You may even spot the famous DC Black and Brown squirrels.
