Very clean, lots of activities, and very family friendly

This place is great. We got on the paddle boats and visited the little island which was filled with all these cool birds. Unfortunately it was like 100° that day we had to call it quits early. Next time I visit my buddy in Campbell I'll take my kids out in a paddle boat here again.

There is a 6$ entry fee. We went in evening on weekends and still it was very hot and sunny.
There are lots of picnic table available but very few lake facing. The park was not at all crowded.
The ripple of the water, the beautiful trees , sun shining off of the water in the lake , and sound of chirping of birds and geese, made the experience very calming and relaxing. While walking along the river, it was such a beautiful view to see the sun disappearing below the horizon.

Very clean and interestingly thing but long shaped park. Makes for a good after dinner walk. Plenty of trees and green nature.

We saw a great horned owl during this trip. Great place for outdoors, bird watching, boating, playground, biking.

Clean, well maintain, and people are respectful of rules. Bathrooms are clean!

Once a nice playground now rundown and trashed by folks from surrounding houses. Seems less of a public playground and more of an extension of the junky unkempt properties around it. Place is often littered with unsupervised rubbish such as old toys, objects from surrounding properties. If the public playground is indeed being "leased" to store junk, I would hope that the city would inform other patrons of the same.

Huge park with a large lake to enjoy some time outdoors. Plenty of paved lanes to walk, bike, scooter all around. Fishing is allowed. Pedal boats and more are available to rent seasonally. And, it's connected to the Los Gatos Creek/trail to continue a journey either above or below the park. A kid's train runs through the park, too. The lake was recently drained for repairs to the dam as of this review. Good idea to check ahead if that's what one was looking forward to specifically. Pictures of the lake, before and after being drained.

Just passed here by for a short trip to the old town los gatos. This town is pretty quiet

This park is so good for parents as well as kids as it has a lake and running water around. Best place for having family and friends Meetup and having picnic together 🧺

It's a nice place to get together we went there for a birthday party. It has a nice club house, outside shaded area with benches and a playground.Parking is limited.

It has covered picnic area and playground area for kids to enjoy

Fantastic place to get your steps in and enjoy the scenic Lake Vasona in Los Gatos. During the day you’ll meet joggers, walkers, strollers, bicyclists of all ages. Pedestrian friendly with places to fill your water bottle and benches to enjoy watching the Canada Geese & Coots. Great place to bring your little ones with playground climbing structure (but no fence around so keep an eye out for them wandering off. Choochoo trains 🚂 and a fun adventure. Dining in downtown Los Gatos with plenty of choices.

Clean, Little park with many amenities: field, tennis courts, playground, long trees that provide lot of shade, benches for picnic

Very nice small town park. There are jazz concerts in the summer, and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The seating area is limited, and parking can sometimes be a challenge.

This place is surprisingly sad for a Los gatos park. We were passing through and there were no kids in the playground area and the slides and equipment were old and unimpressive

Vasona Lake county park is located within the Vasona lake premise which hosts options for hiking, cycling, fishing, picnic or playground.
It has a day entry fee of $6 for cars.
It is nice but the playground is rather small than some of the other public parks and has a lot of sand all around. So nice for kids who love sand and don’t mind that getting in their dress. Limited benches near the playground for parents and very less shaded area. Liked that it has a separate cycling trek than one for cars but that’s shared by people walking around.

Nice medium sized park for spending time in a nice locality. Have activities for small kids

Blossom Hill Park is excellent in that there's lots of grass to run around in/picnic, plus tennis courts and great play structures for the little ones. Decent shade throughout the day, awesome neighborhood park!

It is a very clean park.
Quiet park also.
They have paddle boats to rent 50 bucks hr.
Nice paved for walking and bikes.
Lots of friendly ducks and geese.
Bathrooms are clean!
There's also a little train ride.
Fishing 🎣 need fishing license.
There's a plus with this park during Christmas time.
It is transformed at night as a stay in car ride of Christmas lights throughout the entire park.
Pretty cool!

Great performance by David Benoit and friends and a great venue. May the same or even lower level of performance prevail in the future with the organizers who can't align the seating to the online reservation site and who provide less than adequate aisle space for those over the age of 10.

The park itself is really small. But makes it unique and worth going to are the events that are held there, especially the Wednesday evening jazz concerts in the summer.
Because the park is in downtown Los Gatos, there are many restaurants, bars, and brew pubs nearby.
Well not explicitly part of the park, Los Gatos Creek trail is just a couple blocks away and that's a very long paved trail that goes several miles in both directions from downtown Los Gatos.

Not the greatest selection. It's a Safeway.

Love this shady, hidden, in beautiful Los Gatos, neighborhood park. Aka truck park since it has a sand pit that is already full of ready to play with trucks and sand toys which totally adds to the charm of this already super sweet park. There's a large field and a couple of picnic tables as well.

This is a gorgeous park with tons of shade and cool looking trees. The play ground is small but well kept AND they a sand box that always seems to have toys! The park is nestled in Los Gatos but far enough from the main roads that traffic isn't a problem. There is a large field and a small basketball court. We had a small photoshoot for my twin and triplet moms group ( SVTT) and the lighting and background was absolutely beautiful!! My twin boys are 11 months old and loved the swings slide and of course crawling/ walking everywhere!!! Very safe lovely park highly recommended!!!

Lovely park with Baseball field and tennis courts. Plenty of open grassed areas and a popular kids play area. Soccer lessons also available for young kids.

small, quiet park with abundance of trees providing ample shade and many benches. Nice location to bring your kids to the playground, relax or to enjoy a picnic.

Great place for kids to play. Shade from the trees was great for a sunny day.

Great park for young kids and parents. Good playground and large grassy area

Love the small town park. Easily accessible, and you can just sit on benches, concrete borders or on the grass area with or without a blanket and have a picnic or eat your packed or locally purchased food from the restaurants, groceries or at a farmers market food vendor. Great rest area and place for kids and adults to play games, watch local concerts, plays, special events sponsored and hosted by local businesses or organizations.
Parking is easy and free all around the park and town in general. Nice place to be at on Sundays for the Farmers Market at 9:00am to 1:00pm

Visited Los Gatos for a very nice afternoon, shopped in this really great town! The shops were very tidy and carried a wide selection of beautiful clothing. We enjoyed walking through this off the beat little town and thoroughly enjoyed a nice little picnic lunch in this lovely park. The other visitors and public merchants were also taking a quite break in the park enjoying the sunshine and birds. We will be back soon, for another nice day at the park!

This is a nice urban park. In the summer, it has a water park for the kids and dogs and young at heart. Some weeks it hosts a Farmer's Market and other events. With a large lawn area, its good for kids to play, a good place for picnics, and is central to downtown Los Gatos, CA. Enjoy.

I grew up in Los gatos down the street from bachmen park and played there often. I'm 32 now and will bring my daughter here this is a great little park with swings, playground, a half basketball court, and a big grass field. It is in a very nice neighborhood with good folks that make sure the park is as safe of a place as it has always been!

A lovely community park with share toys in the sand pit. A basketball court and a quiet and low traffic environment.

Tiny little town square, great place to have your family for a quick play break, or to sit on the grass and have lunch while the busy world passes you by. They have a really great fountain that shoots out of the ground, but sadly the California drought limits it now to only a couple of hours on Fridays. Surrounded by some great restaurants and adjacent to the Los Gatos post office so parking can be a pain. Good people in a beautiful little town!

Beware of dogs. If not some irresponsible dog owners, this neighbourhood park would have been a great place for families with small children to play. It turns into an off-leash dog park every evening, as no one seems to care about the leash law around here. Although I like dogs myself and know that most of them are indeed friendly, I don't appreciate them approaching and "playing" with my toddler while she is in the playground area... Having seen many examples of absolutely unpredictable dog behavior, I have to stay alert at all times while in Bachman with my kids.
