We love the town park!! I wish there was a little more parking close to the ball fields. That being said, this is a beautiful park to walk through

Neat and clean park. Lots of fields . They could improve netting for the baseball field and control the ants around them.

Great area to walk and enjoy the trees. paths well maintained and even in hot days perfect to walk around because shaded by the trees. Perfect for walking the dog as well, seen everyone here walking their dog and the dogs seemed to enjoyed it :)
Straight forward park for walking, rolling and dogs. "Watch band" step up (long path connected to a circle connected to another long path). ♿ path and ♿ parking. Port o John is Not accessible.

Loved walking around here. The snow and the trees were so beautiful. A nice walking trail system in it, not too complicated.
On my hunt for Betty the Yeti, I discovered a serene spot situated in a suburb. Escape to Hayes for a brisk walk or a calm stroll, but put your phone away and enjoy some quality time with Mother Nature.

Great off-leash dog park w/ permit. Without permit you are required to leave your dog on leash. Permits are $30 for the year per household and stipulate dogs must come when called and not chase other dogs. Park is patrolled by Animal Control. Very nice trail system that is open to multiple uses including groomed XC ski in the winter, running, walking, mountain biking and off-leash dog walking. Lots of short hills and dry paths. There is a stream in the park with year round flow. Anything less then consecutive days of rain or a half inch will stay pretty dry. I noticed someone mentioned mosquitoes but generally these aren't a problem here as most of the park is elevated and dry. Ticks, however, are a problem.

Great little park by the river, very nice for walking dogs are just sitting down to enjoy the scenery
Lovely paved park trail, connects Maxwell Drive and Moe Road. There is one porta potty on the Maxwell Drive side, at least as of November 2023. This is a perfect short walk for bikers and strollers wishing to avoid Rte 146. No playground, no water facilities. The path is lit at night.
I came to check out this new town park, and I will say I am glad CP citizens voted to create this park at this location instead of letting Shop Rite build a store here. Seeing how Shop Rite is now closing all of its stores in the Capital District north of Hudson, that decision looks to have been even better, since they would almost certainly be closing the one here too. Then we would be stuck with a big empty building and parking lot here, instead of a scenic pleasant park.

It is still relatively new and there could be improvements. The accompanying nature center is under construction, and the paths to and from the parking lots could use a little landscaping, maybe some flowerbeds. Some historical monuments or outdoor sculptures would also be nice, provided they are not of the humongous abstract industrial metal type that consume the entire surrounding landscape with bleakness and desolation (like in Ossining, NY). A pavilion or rotunda might also be a good enhancement.

It will be interesting to see what more the town might do with this park, but it is definitely a quality-of-life improvement for the townspeople.
Small. Right between Schools which is bad. Lots of buses so beware

I love waking my pup at Cresent Park. We have a long walk while throwing him his soccer ⚽️ ball and he had a blast and tired him out. It's a nice place.

This is NOT A WALKING TRAIL! As a matter of fact, this isn't even a trail AT ALL . Dont come here with your dogs & if you’re going to do the “walking/hiking trails near me” - DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. I repeat THIS IS NOT A TRAIL , it is an obstacle course for YMCA members only .
Nice quiet place to walk amongst tall trees. Multiple little trails to choose from all contained in the little park. The path is wide. It can get muddy depending on when you go. Lots of mosquitos. It is a carry in and carry out type of park so plan accordingly. Good place to bring your dogs. Can be off leash on the trail.
Nice paved , wide paths but not very interesting now that nature is plowed over. Don't know if they are going to do something more after spending so much money on this parcel of forest.
Great paths for walking or biking and plenty of parking.

Was kind of disappointed thoughtit was a hiking trail and it wasnt really. The private ymca put the ropes in so need to be member to go on
Beautiful scenery for a walk! Our dogs loved the paved walking path. Small parking lot. Be mindful that Google maps has the parking lot in the wrong location it’s one street past where it currently shows. Trashcans nearby. Recommend.
A nice place for a short walk. Great parking, with a lot at each end of the trail. The paved trail is about 0.5 miles one-way. Benches for relaxing. Garbage cans are available and maintained. Dog-friendly.

A well maintained local path for wandering through the woods. It is our go to quick dog walking place.

The various paths were cut through a wooded area so have a fair amount of canopy. We're able to bring our dogs there in a light rain and still remain relativity dry as the trees protect us.
Great area to walk with the family. Have several exercise areas along the trail. The playground is a nice stopping point to let the little ones play. Several baseball fields here from tee ball to full size for all ages to play on as well.
The park is mainly just a bike/run/walk path. Table is available near the parking lot, benches are provided along the path. You can walk under the crescent bridge where you can stop to look at the water, guard rails are there to prevent you from falling in.

Beautiful location and scenery. I loved taking my children here. We had a good day. The children aren't huge fans of walking but we still had a good time. Saw several bunnies on our adventure.

It's modest--some picnic tables and some fun historical markers and monuments--but a pleasant place to walk, right along the Mohawk, starting adjacent to the Crescent bridge. Parking can be tight, but it's worth finding a spot. Though it starts very near to route 9 and would suggest noise, the path west quickly grows quiet, leaving you to enjoy the walk, the park, and the views of the river.

It is right behind my house. I rode a nice bike ride on this trail. I'm so excited to bring my grandchildren here. Mostly, I will be inquiring about a bench for my son that passed away. Very nice view of the water. The picnic benches are great. Cannot wait to return.

Nice little place along the river right next to route 9 and Crescent bridge. There are a bunch of picnic tables and also a paved path that looks like it goes along the river. (We got takeout from a busy Country Drive Inn and brought it down the road to eat it here. We didn't walk on the path or anything but it was nice and quiet and clean.

This park is a great place to go. It is clean and well maintained. There is a playground for kids to play, a small water splash area for the summer and lots of trails for walking. This small bridge is on one of those paths. Great place to come with the kids or if you want to just walk around in nature.

Great walk before or after dinner. Not long, but you could go around a few times if you're feeling saucy.😊 Happy trails!

Park was nice and quiet (probably because it was 90 degrees out). They have 2 playgrounds for children, several swings, a volleyball net, baseball field and apparently a ropes course which is pretty cool. They also have an area with tables and its coveted so that was nice.

Nice little walk/jog. Seen some deer there. Someone put a couple of little "fairy villages" near the trail. Another guy used to groom the trail with his snowmobile so you could cross-country ski, but another grouch said stop doing that cuz I don't like it.
subsequently discovered that the ferry villages are a girl scout project of some kind.

Went to this trail for the first time today, right down the road from my house. It was a nice short, flat trail and really cute. They have little fairy and gnome homes all over the trail. Took my dogs with me. Nice relaxing trail.

I felt like I was somewhere else, like the redwood forest. What a beautiful trail! My family and two dogs loved it. Everyone we passed was very friendly. This will be our go to spot for a nice hike. The trails were clearly labeled and very clean.
The splash park is very nice. Hottest Day of the summer at rush hour not very busy. Plenty of space. Some tables and at least one public grill.

This is such a great park. Miles of nice walking or bike trails with multiple fitness stations along the way, super dog-friendly including waste bags along the paths, great playgrounds for multiple ages, including for littles so they're safe, and now the splash pad - perfect for a hot day. Generally well-maintained and enjoyable year round (even though bathrooms are not year round to my knowledge).
Very clean and peaceful park. Alot of well kept trails to walk on with bridges. Playgrounds for all ages plus a summertime splash pad.
Can't complain I live beside the park, it is in my backyard. With the traffic that this park gets.... it is very popular with people with dogs and also who want to jog in the park as well. There is a parking lot along the Kinns road and has tables too for a picnic. I see a lot of groups come here and enjoy the trail, and then they do picnics at the parking lot. The picnic tables here also have these built-in stands for.... bring your charcoal and bring your garbage bags and keep this place clean for everyone to enjoy.
During the winter this park is also busy, people come here for snowshoeing and ski walks. Also, kids come with their sleds. There are a lot of areas for sledding for kids here which my 2 boys enjoy as well.
It is also a very nice and quiet neighborhood.... although when going to this park and using Nottingham Way street, please slow down because there are lots of kids residing in this neighborhood that was playing in the front lawns. Car's come by fast nowadays.
If you read this message, please pass it on to others to keep these kids safe.
Summer time this park is a great place for bird watching. Today, we saw an owl just right above our heads while playing with our RC Cars.
Nice trails. They are relatively short and stroller friendly. I often bring my son with me. The trails are marked and there are several entrances. I recommend bug spray. Pet friendly as well, but waste should be cleaned up so others can enjoy the trails.
