Meadows are too dense to receive good sun exposure. Beware if hypersensitive to poison ivy.

Tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer field, playground and more. This place is massive, and it’s situated to be very nearly the backyard of all the houses surrounding it (there are even trails from side streets leading into the park).

There is official parking too, but I do find it cool that the neighborhood has a park for a back yard!
Nice trail and view of the river. I was expecting a longer hike though
Bit of a claustrophobic walk, straight shot, very buggy in the summer. Beautiful outlooks in a few places.

There are walking trails, a giant swimming pool and a great playground. I think the park is better for younger kids. They also have a hockey rink and a baseball field.

Beautiful, sizeable park in the neighbourhood. I went in there for tennis, there are two courts in decent condition with some cracks on the concrete, but nothing that comes in your way. Several other spaces to run and play around. Baseball nets and field, children's play area with swings, goal posts for team sports, it has everything. Could do with some lights for night, so that it's not pitch dark.

Beautiful nature trails and green space. Dog friendly throughout and an off leash space towards the back of the park. Town of Milton does a great job with upkeep, they even freeze a man made pond for ice skating in the winter!
Get out the house enjoy the weather go somewhere different for a change

Off-leash doesn't mean off-responsibility for their dogs while here.
Easy, flat path. It’s a straight shot as others have mentioned, and though the flora is pretty, it’s a claustrophobic, monotonous hike with tall grasses and brush on either side of the path. You basically walk in and walk out and there are no distinct landscape markers so it can feel like you’re walking forever in the Twilight Zone. Interesting once but I won’t come here again.

For the amount of money Milton has this park is poorly maintained. Soccer field very uneven
I absolutely love this place. I walked my dog here on the regular. It's always very clean, and DCR does a wonderful job of keeping it that way.I appreciate everyone that pitches in to preserve this place. I do wonder if it's worth casting A-line under that river and seeing what I couldn't pull out. I'm not too sure though if it's fish that migrate up through there or not. There's been a boat underneath the 93 bridge for a while now. I'll add a photo of that. There is also a water feature in the center of the park for children to play on hot days. There are also several water fountains available and they are actually well designed with 3 separate tiers, one for Adults, one for children, and a lower one for dogs! How smart. 🤔

Very nice bike trail. We really enjoyed biking in this beautiful trail
Beautiful trail approximately three miles. Great for running, biking, walking, roller skating, etc.

There are some nice parks along the trail to stop at in addition to villages just off the trail providing restaurants, stores, etc.

Great park for all. We go in the morning for dog socialization. The afternoon is more family and sports oriented.
There are only about 5 parking spots. It's a bit of haul to the water's edge (~50 yards) and difficult/steep waters edge so putting in/out is quite difficult. It's also easy to miss when you are coming back and if you go below the launch you can't get back up because there are shallow rapids right there at the bridge.
Beautiful area

Playground, 2 tennis courts, 2 softball fields, 1batting cage,1 basketball court and 1soccer field are well maintained. Grass and shrubs are cut regularly with lots of trees around. Handicapped and regular parking are available. Great place to bring the whole family, including the family pet, Fido.

Decent park. Soccer field is narrow and pretty uneven but has good grass coverage and a very nice playground with adequate parking.
This hidden jewel of 2 mile is treat if you are into nature walk and birdwatching.
I actually love this trail - in the cold months. When it’s warm it’s buggy and tick heaven. It’s a strait line for about 2 miles out and back. It comes to an cross in the trail- one takes you to the river and a much more overgrown Parallel trail along the over back to the parking lot. The other direction takes you to a grove a conifers and an abandoned highway access road. It’s completely flat, great for dogs off leash because you can see who’s coming in the distance.
DURING THE WEEK YOU CAN WALK AROUND THE PONDS, AND LITERALLY NEVER SEE ANYONE ELSE THERE......BUT IT GETS BUSY ON THE WEEKEND HARD TO FIND PARKING ON WEEKENDS 😉 👍
Great walk. Beautiful day. Lots of others enjoying the day safely.

Under normal circumstances I would give this park a good review. But currently it seems to be the place where everyone goes without their mask. Kids are riding their bikes. There's usually a five on five basketball game. and there may be as many as 40 kids on what is a nice playground. And there's hardly a mask in sight. So if you don't care about public safety, I guess you could read this as a four-star review. Otherwise, I would steer clear. At least for now.
Great for peace of mind. Walking, jogging, biking, yoga. #tranquility
Beautiful space to move. Clearly come a long way from its dirty industrial past!

Such a quaint and nice park. I brought my toddler here the other day she really enjoyed the swings and slides.
This place is beautiful. All the wildlife was great to see. There were ducks, geese and a swan family.

It is very nice place. I can see that here, we, parents are happy to be there and share some quality time with our children.
There is a wasp hive as you drive in across from the 2nd bench .. in a tree on the left hand side of the in driveway ... as of 8/28/19
The canoe launch is about 100 yards from parking and the put in spot is not ideal as there is a swift current.
Once again this is another place to put on your bucket list. They have so much to offer you hiking, picnic areas for the family and more. It is peaceful and relaxing while enjoying your time with nature. You were see birds and more. Take your family for a day of fun. Or maybe just need a little time to relax?
I would have given the bike path here 5 stars but for one issue. People need to be aware of the fact that the pathway is being used by Walkers, bicyclists, carriages, skaters etc with traffic going in both directions so...stay to the right of the path and reduce potential collisions.
Long trail, more than an hour to walk it all. Some animals sightings. Just good for a walk in the woods.

A nice (fairly large) park with a couple of ball fields, some walking trails, a (not free) pool, I think a pond, and a community center. The play grounds are VERY old school, with some good opportunities for broken bones if you aren't watching the kiddos, but the park is kept up very nicely, and it's great for Little League / T-ball, which is why we were there.
Although it’s not really a park for children, the park is a nice stop along the long trail and is especially relieving after a long walk/bike ride on a summer day. Speaking of the summer, during the summer the leaves return to the trees the park becomes so much more visually appealing. The park needs to be unkept a bit more but I visited on the off season I suppose so there was rubbish here and there with no trash in sight. The steps down to the river is quite enjoyable although the waters a bit murky.
This is a great resource.
We are looking forward to the cleanup later this month.
It appears that as the park and walk gets dirtier with trash, people stop picking up after their pets.
Right by my house great for walking the dog, running, walking and biking!

It's a nice and place to lounge around. I like to sit on a particular bench & just chill there for HOURS. There is a NEW pathway they built that goes thru Milton & Mattapan. So if ur in2 jogging🏃‍♂️, biking🚴‍♂️, & walking🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️then you came to the right place🙂

Not really much of a park. There's a small run-down playground in some walking trails. I think there's also a tennis court or two. The main attraction is the public pool which is horrible. It's cheap and you'll run into a lot of other Milton people in the summer which is nice. But it's shallow, it's never open, there are long breaks for kids can't swim, and it's always dirty and falling apart. Plus it closes the middle of August.
Love the weather at the pool I swear it is 10 degrees cooler. Nice chill vibe - and the staff is always very courteous.

Liked the walk along the river. Wish people would keep their dogs leashed though.
