We used to go there often to walk our dog. Now there are signs up that they aren’t allowed. I do understand because a LOT of people don’t clean up after their animals and/or let them off the leash which is irresponsible behavior. Please clean up after your animals. There is hardly anywhere to take them anymore.
In my opinion this park is okay. I would like to see some improvement in the playground. It's a nice spot for running laps or biking.
A large park with lots of green space and a paved path that goes along the river. There is also a playground, soccer fields, a baseball field, and roller hockey.
Fun place for kids
Short trail along the Ecorse River. Unfortunately, there is work going on along the river, but it's all being done to make the park much nicer in the future. There is a large gazebo there that can be rented for parties. It's a memorial park also. You will see markers and other things people have left in memory of a loved one. Bird watchers would enjoy a day here. There's plenty of parking, so head on out to the park.
Very nice and quite large park... Love the access to the river. I did some magnet fishing with my son.
I was one of the vendors at the cruise and battle of the bands that PAID money from non profit funds for non profit fundraising. I can't speak for the other vendors but I know they were very upset. After PAYING the vendors were placed way way way in the back at least 150 yards from any actual people. Most vendors could even make back the $60 they paid. Good luck next year guys. We probably will never be back. Smh, not cool guys
Very good open area for small events, then there is the trails which is the main attraction, very good for bikes and many other things. Though back then there have been sights of squatters and homeless people but I'm not sure how trustworthy those sources are.
Very maintained park with a beautiful park for the children, there is swings for the children also. Nice small areas for picnics and get-togethers, benches to sit on and a big open field for any pets. Also a small trail along the park to look at the small creek below this nice park
I love this park. There is a trail and great for morning run's.

Nice little field for baseball
Was here for the music of KISS. Saw some friends, talked, relaxed, and watched the girls play tag with a bunch of other kids at the park. Beautiful night spent with all grandkids. Starlynn, Tara, Stella, and Cordelia.
Good place to which a little league baseball game
Great place to walk around and enjoy the beautiful garden. And at the Bandshell throughout the summer, they have a free concert series every Thursday night.

Had an amazing Memorial Day service hosted by the Lincoln Park exchange club. Park was clean and well kept. The gardens are amazing.
2 car loads of more than teenagers and almost adults arrived, 12-14 people..and proceeded to "play" on the playground equipment, use all the swings and be loud. My 11 year old and 5 year old were a little overwhelmed by so much older than them activity on the playground tonight.
Memorial on site for our men & women who served this country. Remember those who lost their lives for tyrans in this country.
Baseball field itself was kept up nice but the dugouts, bleachers and bathroom area needs a major face lift. Beautiful play area across the street so some effort should be used on the fields
Take the kids to this park atleast twice a week. Love this park
An amazing park to bring your bmx on the trails, other than that the neighbors act as they own the public park and called the cops when I parked my car there getting ready to do some trails. The gate is mostly padlocked shut presumably by the neighbors nearby.
This park is FANTASTIC!!!! my grandson had the best time ever. .the playscape is so nice amd the park is very clean! The only thing it needs is a public restroom.

Clean, nice playgrounds for kids. It's regularly maintained, but the one playground could use more mulch. It tends to flood after it rains.
Cleanest park in Lincoln Park that I've visited this year the others are so worn down and littered but my City is coming back. I just want to have more things in place to keep our kid's safe . And I wish people would keep track of their Dog's especially when it's a school day.
There's only one bench, one trash can. Graffiti everywhere.. they did add nice new woodchips

I go there just about all the time to do my walking if the weather is permitted. I love coming to this park. It's clean, you see people out walking there dogs, sometimes other people might Rollerblade on skates, people come to also ride there bicycles to!

The equipment needs to be replaced. The playground area is covered in weeds not grass. I’m sure this park had its glory days but I wish the upkeep was better.

Good park, has 3 baseball diamonds and two separate play ground spread out over a huge field.
Such a unique park, I love it. There isn’t much there but a ’big enough’ forest area and un-maintained trails. In the ‘90’s a lot of local kids worked to make a pretty impressive bmx bike track in the forest area. In the late 2000’s I occasionally played paintball there with friends and others we would meet there, it was always a lot of fun and we had any problems. It’s a small forest in the city and it is what you make - which is the best part about it. There is nothing similar in the area that isn’t over regulated.

Nobody that goes to the park wears a mask, but my kids do! They love that park, and like to play with the other kids.
I love coming here. There's plenty for the kids to get into as far as a small park goes. It could be better kept and that's the only reason for the 4/5 stars. Some of the landscaping is falling apart and is left that way but other than that, there's plenty of space to run, ramps, monkey bars, swings, a little wall for rock climbing and some musical pieces. There's benches to sit and 2 gazebos as well as a trail to walk around! My kids love it. ❤
You have to enter a closed gate even though its open. Super creepy. Old sleeping bags beer cans blankets t shirts.
Love the trails that we just recently discovered, however I do hope that the city of Lincoln Park will make an effort to com out & clear a few trails that we couldn't make it down due to down trees. If they cleared those then there would be several more accessible trails throughout the woods, including some that connect to trails that lead across the highway (I believe under the highway) that lead to trails on the other side of the highway into Allen Park.

Nice setup with the playground and the swings, just I tripped on the weed barrier used under wood chips. ACTUALLY THAT WAS THE PROBLEM EVERYWHERE IN THE PARK.

City does a pretty good job at keeping the Park in good working order I feel I don't see much damage from Young adolescents and they take care of the lawn better than they do vacant Lots
They have an awesome playscape that's is designed for kids to be able to play in even if they're in a wheelchair

Great 4th if July fireworks from people who live around area. Nicer than big shows cause it's more intimate.
Has always been a beautiful, clean park. Tons of things to do and see. Have been coming here since I was a kid. Now my kids get to enjoy it as much as I have.

The park was messy and not very well kept
Lots of Pokemon hunting and stops. Parking lot is to be taken slowly. Lots of pot holes. Beautiful park which is kept up with nicely. Surprising because it is right behind the empty Sears strip mall. I expected trash and evidence of drug use and prostitution. Enjoy this nice clean park.

Grew up around here so the park isn't what it use to be. But I still see people who play baseball there at the diamonds so I do know they are usable. The park looks clean. I also hear a local church uses it for summer Bible fun. Families like that a lot!
The bathrooms were disgusting. Kitchen items were in the bathroom as well as a propane tank! No toilet paper and both sinks were out of order, not to mention there were no working lights and only 1 working toilet. The fields and playground were nice, but there was garbage all around it. The bathroom conditions were a major let down of how nice the park could be.
These fields are not taken care of. Realy crappy place to play ball. Weeds groing in infield. Along with a choppy infield and uneven ground in outfield. Grass is always overgrown.
