Top Pool halls in North York, Canada

I'm from Ottawa, checking out a bunch of pool halls while here for 2 days. This was #5 of my journey. Hidden upstairs in China town area, this one was comparable to the bar Yonge Billiards across the street, however their tables weren't as good. They have 6x 9ft tables that are in rough shape, and 4 tables for Carom Billiards. The guy working was super friendly and nice to deal with. However, no tvs or alcohol like across the street.....Not suggested for fun night or outing with friends.

Such a cool place, very unique design, a friendly gentleman at the reception, all their equipments are in good condition so are their tables.

We went on a Friday afternoon, so it was not busy at all.
The place was nice, clean, offered an enjoyable environment, and good customer service.
Would go back again!

Hit the spot tonight around 11. Music was on point, the grandpa was friendly, there is a timer by the table. I see no major issues. It’s a fun spot for friends. The table and balls might be a bit old but good enough to get the night going.

Went to have some drinks and play some billiards with my girlfriend. There weren't any tables available so the owner asked for my number to call when a table was available. Before we could take a seat to wait and order some drinks we were told to wait outside on the street which I thought was strange considering there were seats right in front of us at the empty snooker table. We went down the street to grab some food while we waited for a table and he never even bothered to call back. Don't waste your time here, terrible service and the drink selection and food looked terrible. Great way to lose some local customers and there are much better options for drinks and billiards around this area. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Won’t sell alcoholic beverages to people out of this country WILL deny non Canadian ID, and if what u said in your reply was true there would be no prob but unfortunately I had to come in and find out first hand that a 30 yr old woman is too young in your book. FOR YOUR SAKE, PLEASE PICK ANY OTHER POOL HALL GUYS!!!! #ggnext

Very small place and not much air flow. Weekends is $24/h per table. We came in a group of 4. It was empty in a Saturday around 1:30pm which is great. Didn't order anything so couln't speak for the service. Equipment seems old but it's fine for a hangout with friends

Shawn and the team are just amazing.. making my son's 13th birthday spectacular.. they went above and beyond; All the screens had his name, they got buckets of drinks out and all the scacks the kids love.. their pool tables look like no other place we have been too.. check out the other pictures..fooseball, ping pong, clean washrooms and what all kids want WIFI... WE WILL BE BACK!!

Place might be a little harder to find, but it is very underrated and has a great cozy atmosphere. Initially skeptical due to the negative review about employees, but instead was impressed by the price, service and friendly attitude of the staff. Prices were good for the time we had , would definitely come again for more rounds! Would recommend checking out this place for yourself and or with friends!

Antagonistic customer service for $24/hr
Family's first time, almost empty place, noodled around a little on another table in the last 10 minutes. Employee (young guy) charged us an extra half hour with no warning or real explanation. Could have let us know, or offered another set of balls, or just been a bit more patient with explaining, but chose to just blankly repeat "you used another table right?" and said literally nothing else despite our confusion.

To be clear they were technically in the right, just felt like it was unnecessarily hostile with 0 effort whatsoever to have a polite interaction, let alone friendly service, so not the kind place I want to support. It would have been so easy to make this a pleasant experience.

Very beautiful tables, great designs inside. Only thing is the limited amount of space. Also can get busy, can't occupy many people. But overall best pool spot to go to in the Finch Area

This place has the best decor and had upgraded from their predecessor! The price is fair as well for only $20/hour (Cash)

I had called to help bring traffic to their pool hall, and to build a local pool group in their area. There has been a general interest in billiards in the west side of Toronto and it is lacking meetups. In good faith I wanted to discuss with them my good intentions of bringing in more people and offering slots to fill in. While on the phone he blatantly ignored everything, kissed his teeth and hanged up on me. The amount of disrespect I received is beyond thinkable. And I have vouched for numerous years about this well hidden place.

Cashier told us $20/hour, then he charged us $20 first hour and $25 second hour, he said the more hours you play, the higher rate. Like whattt!?!?!?

Was looking for pool around me and found this underrated and hard to see place, i saw some bad reviews and still went there anyways and didn’t regret it.
Lady behind the desk was very pleasant unlike the what some reviews said and tables were clean and fairly new, bunch of ques available including graphites.
I totally enjoyed and will be going back for sure:)

It shows open on google and even on their window but was closed during the day. Very disappointed! Don’t come here as it is not open, might be closed permanently!

Horrible experience. Came with my cousins today, and the owner said only 4 people per table. There was no one in the hall. We visited last time with no issues having 5 people. Have a clear set of rules and stick with it. Owner didn't accommodate us at all. Complete jerk... Don't come here if you are a large group.

nice place to go and chill with your friends . the lady at counter is sweet and helpful . costs about 20$ per hour . would visit again forsure . only downside is they dont have a liquor license so no beers .still a good experience overall

Left in 10 minutes because of bad conditions of the tables. Will never visit it again and the cashier had the audacity to ask for money even though i told him the problem.

Be mindful of the price per hour, but overall it's a great place for pool.

Poor customer service. Even the way they answered the phone was unprofessional. They don't have prices listed on the site. One reviewer said they paid$ 15 for an hour of pool. I called shortly after and they said $20. I don't know what to believe. Sketchy. But please update your website and add prices for future customers.

If I had an option to give 0 stars I would. Reading the reviews of this place before hand I knew the staff here were not pleasant and my experience there proved just that. They are extremely rude. When you first enter you already feel unwelcome with the guy at the front desk sighing that he has to do his job; When we simply asked for the equipment to play he sighed taking off his headset, pausing whatever he was doing on his laptop and reluctantly proceeded to give us the stuff. Additionally, my partner and I made the mistake of setting up our stuff on the wrong billiards and the guy at the front desk found it entertaining to walk up to us and rudely ask, "Do you guys not see an issue here?" "Do you not see a problem?" followed by snarky laughter and he continued to ask us until we found the answer. His tone and demeanor is absolutely uncalled for. For customers like us that did nothing at all to him he could of simply just corrected us and said, "Hi, I just wanted to let you know that this isn't the right billiard for the game that I see you guys are about to play, I would suggest to go to that billiard." Especially for it being my partners and I's first time at this place, it would have been helpful.

$15/hr, solid place. Three tables for 8-ball, and many for 4-ball. Decor could use renovating...rather go here than the place across the street below ground level at $18/hr
