Good location, amazing sailing

De las mejores zonas de la isla. Un club de vela donde aprender a navegar y certificarte. El curso de fin de semana, en el cual navegas el sábado y el domingo con clases online adicionales és muy recomendable. Buen ambiente náutico y entorno muy agradable. Me encanta lo cuidadosos que son en la confección de los grupos y en como enfocan el aprendizaje navegando. Llegas en bici desde downtown en poco mas de 20 minutos. Y parece que estas en otro lugar. Justo al lado hay una especie de beach club. Muy animado, aunque no tiene nada que ver con ellos.

What an awesome afternoon experience! The sites of NYC are just awesome. The captains' local knowledge of the waterways and commercial traffic are spot on. These excellent captains distill basic sailing information in a fun ship classroom and then get you quickly out on the water sailing. Once on the water they are kind and patient as they guide you through how to sail. I am impressed.

I just started private lessons for my ASA101 sailing certification and I could not be more pleased. My instructor, Logan, has been incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and encouraging. If you have the ability, I would highly recommend private sailing lessons because the shear amount of one-on-one instruction and practice you will receive will make you a much better sailor much faster than other ways of learning.

Can't say enough about this group of people. Just started sailing last fall and was recommended to join HRCS. Everyone has been very helpful and the skippers are always willing to help teach and train us. I've been out 5 times so far (3x in Chelsea and 2x in Inwood) Highly recommend this club if you want to sail!

We went out for sailing with our family to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday. It went beyond our expectations. Captain Nate and his first mate we’re professional, personable and really made it a wonderful night. We did the dinner cruise. The food for dinner was very good. The service was excellent. We sailed between NY and Jersey watching the sun go down, and enjoyed watching the city light up. Was a memorable trip. Would recommend and will be with friends.

The 2-hour cruise around lower Manhattan was amazing. Captain Nate is not only a great captain, he is also the kind of guy you can have a drink with afterwards. From the minute he meets you at the dock he is warm and inviting and you can tell he loves what he does and he wants you to love it to. I love taking photos and Nate was very accommodating making sure he got me to the best places to shoot an epic sunset over lower Manhattan. This honestly was one of the best experiences I have ever had and I can’t recommend it enough. It is worth every penny!

NCS provides a great opportunity on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings for competitive racing for both experienced and novice sailors in NY Harbor, with the fleet underway in front of the Statue of Liberty.

Great people, great location, great sailing

I LOVE sailing in Inwood! It's calm and beautiful, with so much less river traffic than downtown. It used to get a little crazy at La Marina's dock on the weekends, but they didn't have the big beach parties on the weekend this past summer, so docking is now as calm as sailing.

I had a great time aboard Atlantic Yachting with my friends; its the best way to see NYC, by sail; the boats are comfy; the staff was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Absolutely going to return!!

Had the most AMAZING time touring the Hudson River with Atlantic Yachting!!!!!! Hands down the best way to see NYC. Our tour was on September 11 and we had the most breathtaking view of the Twin Towers memorial and the Statue of Liberty!!!! The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Jonathan and David went above and beyond with their hospitality. The boat was clean and spacious enough for me and my friends kick back and enjoy the view!!!! The online booking was so easy and convenient, I cant wait to do it again!!! I am so grateful for Atlantic Yachting and the AMAZING memories i got share with my friends!!!!!!

My friend and I had a fantastic sail with Atlantic Yachting. It's the best way to see NYC - without the rattle of a motor and away from people, you truly feel like you are out in nature, while also being able to look back at the city of 8 million people. We departed for a sunset cruise, and the angle of the sun is spectacular. You get the full shift from bright orange through to purple/pink/cobalt, and the final rays of sun are gleaming off the skyscrapers fronting the Hudson. We could see everything from Empire State and Chrysler, down to the World Trade Center. The boat was clean, and the staff was friendly, professional, and personable. Our Captain Dave gave us plenty of insight, including that the lights on top of the buildings of Times Sq can be controlled by an app! Absolutely going to go again!

From dance parties to silent mediation sunrise cruises, I've done them all with True Sailing and will continue to get new friends to do the same! It's a great way to show friends visiting a special AFFORDABLE way to see the city!

My family loves Atlantic Yachting. Our girls (9 and 11) took a week of sailing camp this past summer and enjoyed it so much that we signed up for a second week at the last minute. Then, when we took out some catamarans on our own for some family sailing later in the summer, the girls' comfort level with sailing was evident. Finally, my wife and I have done two three-hour sails with Logan at Atlantic Yachting this month (why should the kids have all the fun?). A couple of weeks ago, the winds were really light; today, it was blowing. It's a real credit to Logan that we had a great time on both of the sails. We so enjoyed both Logan's teaching (which he made appropriate for our intermediate sailing skills) and his company.

Great tour company. Very intimate, very professional, very fun. We went sailing with Captain Nate who I would highly recommend, really cool guy. My 70 year old Mother and my 3 year old son both had an amazing time. Highly recommend.

Could not have had a better time! 3 couples (all from NYC) for two hours sailing on the Hudson. Jonathan (captain) and Taylor (first mate) could not have been more accommodating, friendly and fun. We showed up with bags of food and drink and taylor took everything below deck and made it a gourmet experience. We didn't have to lift a finger. Excellent cocktails, and amazingly presented appetizers. All we had to do was supply the food and drink and they took care of the rest - platters, glassware, presentation, ice, mixology, you name it.

We felt like we were on a luxury vacation 15 minutes from our apartment.
We felt like multi-millionaires for a couple of hundred dollars per couple.
Can't wait to go again next summer!

This will be your favorite thing you've ever done in New York!

I'm a full time traveler but New York City is my home-base for the last ten years. A few weeks ago I was home and joined some friends in booking this 42' sailboat for a sunset cruise on Manhattan! I have NEVER had a better night in New York! One of my favorite travel tips is change your perspective - and seeing New York from the water does just that! The views of the skyline were incredible and the captain, Nate, sailed us right by the Statue of liberty! We had drinks and snacks and it was really a magical evening!

Nate is awesome, chill, and feels more like your expert sailor friend than boat captain. He's the perfect guy to take your around his luxury sailboat and make you feel like a celebrity for the evening!

The boat fits six, so go with friends and this is a steal! Much better than a broadway show ticket or overpriced meal - go experience Manhattan with True Sailing!

We went in a group for an afternoon sail and we had a blast! It was 6 of us and the captain with his crew. They provided drinks throughout the trip which were delicious. The trip was about 2 hours and you can lay all around the front of the boat which is clean and tidy. The bathroom was well kept and easy to use. The captain and crew were friendly and very helpful. We would definitely book again!!
