Hudson River Community Sailing Inwood

De las mejores zonas de la isla. Un club de vela donde aprender a navegar y certificarte. El curso de fin de semana, en el cual navegas el sábado y el domingo con clases online adicionales és muy recomendable. Buen ambiente náutico y entorno muy agradable. Me encanta lo cuidadosos que son en la confección de los grupos y en como enfocan el aprendizaje navegando. Llegas en bici desde downtown en poco mas de 20 minutos. Y parece que estas en otro lugar. Justo al lado hay una especie de beach club. Muy animado, aunque no tiene nada que ver con ellos.

Can't say enough about this group of people. Just started sailing last fall and was recommended to join HRCS. Everyone has been very helpful and the skippers are always willing to help teach and train us. I've been out 5 times so far (3x in Chelsea and 2x in Inwood) Highly recommend this club if you want to sail!

Amazing place! A little hideout in the city. Very friendly staff :) had a great time.

I LOVE sailing in Inwood! It's calm and beautiful, with so much less river traffic than downtown. It used to get a little crazy at La Marina's dock on the weekends, but they didn't have the big beach parties on the weekend this past summer, so docking is now as calm as sailing.
