Moved to New Orleans from Atlanta and was so pleased to find our new ‘backyard!’ Everyone is so friendly and keeps a close eye on their dogs. The grounds, including the bathrooms and dog wash stations, are always clean. I don’t know how someone can say it’s for the elite when it’s $60 for an annual pass. I do wish they offered monthly memberships for those only working in the city for a few months. However the park, the pups, and the people here are all phenomenal!

Great spot. Price is justified by how well it is maintained. I have found myself barely going to any other dog parks since I joined.
Great dog park. Need to remember to bring a shovel to fill in holes.

Follow the other reviews, WORST DOG PARK IN AMERICA. this is the most unfriendly unwelcoming dog park in The USA. Nice field 20 feet away to let your dog run and have fun, but this dog park ain't it
Visitors cannot go into this, only local elites.
Whats worse is the responses to the reviews from whoever runs the park of people complaining that its not realistic to expect visitors to apply and await a response for access and instructions (even if it is "same day") They arent listening to feedback or don't care. people want to just go let their dogs play

Add donation qr code and donation box but this ain't it. Ive never seen a park locked down to this degree. Its outrageous. New orleans spend your resources better. This ain't it

We absolutely love this park. It's a little far from uptown for us to go daily but always worth the trip. There's so much space for our 70 lb goldendoodle to sprint to his heart's content. He loves the kiddie pools to cool off in, and we love that there is a dog washing station as well as bathrooms for humans. The fee is also worth the peace of mind knowing that all the dogs in there are friendly and up to date on their shots. Can't recommend it enough!
Nice place to walk

Great gated park for the pups, separate areas for small dogs, a washing station, pools and water fountains. Plenty of shade, some benches and chairs to sit on.

The Crescent Bark is two parts. They have a large green area that is un fenced where dogs must remain on their leash. They also have a fenced area where dogs can play. The rules are fairly common sense and not overly restrictive. The surface is largely dirt so it can be muddy after a rain. When we visited it was perfectly dry and looked to be great.

Great park with a large space. Online application for permit was seem less. Friendly and well behaved dogs. They were responsive via email and answered within 2 hrs. Option to pay in person when you pick up the permit and tag or online but you still need to pick up the tag/key to get in. It can be returned in person or mailed back to them which is great if your schedule is packed with activities. They have 2 dog pools that you drain easily, and a fire hydrate water fountain, plus some balls, and other playgrounds for the pups. Would definitely recommend for dogs who enjoy making friends.

My dog’s fav place. The best park in New Orleans. Biggest. Safest. Must buzz in with card & you’re more comfortable knowing the dogs here are all vaccinated & clean.
Sprinkler & pool area, playground, & a wash off bath area. Game changer !!
Looks very good! I saw a lot of happy dogs there =)

We love it at City Bark!! It's taken care of really well, the dogs have so much fun, and the humans have been really friendly, too.

This is a great dog park for being free and the park itself is amazing. Great views and plenty of places to sit and look over this city.

** due to Covid the water fountains are off **
Bring water for your dog and it wouldn’t hurt to bring water for the others they have 3 large bowls there but no way to fill them. My first time I realized this and my dog was so tired from getting to run around with everyone. I felt so bad I didn’t have water. The only reason I left this review it to emphasize to bring water for the dog park!

Got a new pup. This place is a Mud pit. Single gate..fear of dog escaping. Always mudry. Really no.green grass place. Amazing park. Dog run must have been after thought. No public bathrooms. Amazing river views.
Need to start a save Cresent dog park foundation for sure.

Little touristed riverfront walk a great way to get a different perspective on the Crescent City. Watch the paddlesteamers and cargo ships work the Mississippi, ride a bike, walk your dog, or catch a magic sunset along the way. Taking the path to the end and the Bywater district is also really worthwhile to visit the Parleaux Microbrewery and Vaughan's Bar
