Dr Kapila is the best. It is as straightforward as that. You can't be in better hands. He is as caring and knowledgeable as possible, respectful, the best listener, and has the sharpest eyes. Truth be told, the whole South Kensington GP Clinic team exceed in every aspect of their jobs — and they are all the most lovely bunch of people you will ever meet.

I have lost count of the amount of times this surgery have let me down. Two years on with worrying symptoms and I still can't get any help.

Great service from receptionist, courteous and respectful. I cannot say the same for the GP, who asked me questions then kept on loudly interrupting me as soon as I tried to answer. The consultation room had a strong unpleasant smell of vomit, at least when I was there.

Not recommended my child was given expired vaccine and when I raised the issues they told me it’s only expired last night in other countries they give vaccines that expired for months the nurse didn’t even say sorry or showed any sympathy instead she was trying to put blame on me and denied she gave expired vaccine she said only sticker old but I saw her putting stickers from same box that’s given to my child and she said if even that happened it’s not a problem as it one night since expiry date would you accept taking expire sandwich or juice from shelf? Forget about giving a child expired vaccine and show no sense of guilt or support or at least apologize.

Amazing service, best I’ve seen from a sexual health clinic. Was able to book an appointment online at 8:30am for the same day. Turned up early and was seen early rather than having to wait. The doctor was incredibly kind and made me feel totally at ease. The care was thorough and she listened to my concerns and addressed them.

I needed to get a typhoid vaccination at short notice, after waiting weeks for an NHS appointment, only for them to have "run out" when I showed up to get the jab.
Got a next-day appointment here, at a very reasonable rate, without the tedious 30-minute "consultation" that most clinics force you to pay for in addition to getting the jabs you already know you need.
Friendly reception and doctor, nice clean premises, in and out in minutes - job done. Can't fault them.

Trying to call them almost for a hour no answer this is not the first time i had to go to the gp and as soon as i went it the place it was quite no one was even in the gp so thats really annoying and it was for my daughter and son. Not happy at all

Expensive but good value if you want a quick response and excellent customer service. I needed a GP to sign my fitness to practice form for the NMC therefore, I booked a consultation with Dr Kizilates for 150 pounds. I received an immediate response on the telephone, it was easy to find the soonest appointment possible, and on the day of the visit, all staff were kind and professional.

THIS CLINIC IS AWFUL. The receptionists are rude and desperate to get you off the phone and just don't prescribe your medication after saying they will. TWICE now they've never sent my prescription to the pharmacy. lazy and depressing

My doctor here is good but the receptionist I had that day was rude and incompetent. She was chit chatting away on her phone when I was clearly waiting to simply check in. She only put her phone down when a patient jumped the queue and bombarded her with questions. It seems patience and manners doesn't get you anywhere here. Only when I lost my patience and interrupted did I get checked in - something which took her 5 seconds to do. Such a frustrating experience.

Really like this service. The staff are friendly, professional and keen to help and advise. It's not always easy to book an appointment, but understandably so. It's my go-to clinic and I've had nothing but incredible support from them.

I have always had good experience with this centre. I was able to book an appointment online first thing in the morning for the same day whenever I needed one. The staff was kind and respectful and never waited more than 10 minutes. People complain about phone service just go online at 08:30am and book an appointment for the same day!

I've been there twice, first to insert Nexplanon implant and another to remove it. The nurses were very caring, capable and careful, had no issue what so ever. I felt a lot of empathy coming from them too! The online booking service works and it's quick, making my life so much easier. So I'm really thankful for all of it.

This has been my GP for quite a long time now. I must say I have not seen any more professionalism that beats this clinic. Starting with Dr Gill who goes every extra mile to help. Being a tourist for a few days in London I was afraid that my sudden illness would ruin the trip I was so looking forward to. Here I got very friendly service and immediately got an appointment. Doctor Gill was a true professional and I got help. I warmly recommend this doctor and this clinic.

I keep on wanting to give this place another chance but they fail in so many ways on each of my recent visits. From a time that I have been given the wrong medicine as injection, to a time that I got severely bruised by a doctor in-training while taking a routinely blood sample. To, finally today where instead of antibiotics the team offered me prep ‘mistakenly’.. this is not a place for errors! Very poor service

Walked in on 02/06/2023 almost 8:30am. I was greeted by Bonnie with a friendly welcome, she was extremely helpful! She set the tone for everything.
Shaquil who put my data in the system was very courteous and efficient.
I then saw Jameé who did my test, she too was great, she was very professional, calm and reassuring.
My entire experience of this place the minute I walked in was great! Welcoming, warm, nice and friendly staff! Keep up the good job everyone!

Really nice experience at this clinic this week, after being quite nervous to go. I queued up outside just before 8am (5 people in front of me) and got an appointment for 9.50am. Reception staff were lovely. My doctor was kind, patient and informative. Results and antibiotics provided immediately and have received follow-up texts with more info. I'd recommend coming here and am very pleased with the service.

Just went to get my coil fitted. Such a good experience! Everything was explained super clearly. All my questions were answered and I felt really supported and it literally hurt less than when my GP did it! For people looking to get the IUD as contraception I would 100% recommend.
I've also been here for an emergency sexual health checkup and they were really kind, clear, non judgemental and helpful.
In terms of waiting times and the phone line. This is the same across the NHS - tell the tories to fund it better!! Also use SH:24 for the home kits so that the service can be prioritied for emergencies and treatment.

Unprepared staff (ladies at the door dealing with you AND nurses). Every time that I had to run to this clinic, I need to deal with rudeness. Once, the nurse gave me absolute wrong information, judged and made me feel extremely nervous. Receptionists are super rude. I think I managed to have good assistance twice.

Please, Ambrose stop apologizing to the patients and resolve the situation. And since this hasn't changed for years, even before the pandemic, I suppose it's because the hospital managers haven't thought about how to resolve the appointment situation and the number of patients. But the solution is not difficult, let me tell you what to do:
1- Fix the online dating system that never works.
2- Remove from google the contact phone number that you have and which you never pick up.
3- In the hospital they should have 2 customer service telephones, with assistants available (the kind that they always have sitting in Reception doing almost nothing) to give appointments to patients and so they do not have to spend 10 and 20 pounds, which translated, is an hour to wait for the phone, to still not be attended because the shifts are over. It seems to me a robbery and an insult to the client.
4- From their experience, the clinic should have an idea of how many patients per day they attend, more or less. Well, they shouldn't give appointments to more patients than they can attend to and so you don't have to sit in the hospital until 6 pm and still have to cancel the appointment because the doctors have to leave. And also when one is there, the last to arrive are served first, unacceptable.
And for those who say you can go to a private clinic, not everyone is as rich as you are.
And for those who say that the clinic is free, well, find out that the NHS pays its workers the same salary as a private clinic, so that they treat us as we deserve.

The loveliest clinic, wonderful service received here. I can't recommend them enough. Very caring, I felt very comfortable with Louise and Dr Kapila, everything was explained clearly and they went every mile in helping me. I came on short notice due to an unfortunate accident but they were very accommodating and even helped to hail a cab for me when I was having trouble walking. I don't hope to get into any more accidents in the UK but I definitely know who to go to now.

It seems very difficult to get an appointment because they only release them in the morning for the day, but once you do (I got a same evening cancellation) the service is second to none. The lovely doctor with the pearl earring took his time with my history, the swabs and other tests, explained everything, and at the end handed over medication that will hopefully help. I must have been in there for an hour and was the last patient, hours after they apparently close. Thank you!

I am new to this GP, I have completed online consultation and spoke with the doctor the next day, ordered blood test and this was done quick and efficiently by the nursing team. Last week I booked for today's appointment with nurse Afi Tork, who was very kind, friendly, extremely professional and knowledgeable, who referred me for additional checks.

My daughter and I arrived at the opening time(midday on Wednesday) and waited in line to get in. It was very busy(17 people ahead of us), however, the staff present were helpful and organised. My daughter was seen within 2 hours for a walk in appointment which I thought was good considering how busy it was.

Had to cancel my appointment to get an IUD changed when I called up and was told they do NOT give local injections as pain relief. Was advised by the man on reception to just take a paracetamol before. Ladies PLEASE go somewhere else that gives a local injection before hand!! This procedure doesn’t have to be excruciating, please don’t get an IUD here!!

Had an early morning appointment with Kate and it was one of the best ob-gyn experiences I’ve ever had. She was very attentive, helpful and made me feel safe and comfortable. I was able to get all the tests I asked for and was also given free prescription meds and other healthcare items right away. This is the worst surgery ever. All the positive reviews seem fake. I joined here reading all of this but the reality Is sad. I was asked to do smear test and after countless cancellations 24 hours before the consultation as they will always have an issue, I got it done. And for some reason the person who did it made some mistake and I have to redo it. Booked an appointment after 2 hours waiting on the phone line again (because their online booking doesn’t work), had to book a day off from work as they didn’t have more sensible days available. And now they’re calling me telling that it’s cancelled again. They don’t have anymore availability for this month or next. I’m going to change this surgery as I don’t think I can get to the root of my problem as they are not bothered if you still can breathe.

He was friendly and funny and he explained everything we were going to do and why and he checked in with me throughout the procedure to make sure I was ok. Sadly I never remember anyone's name but it was the fella with the colourful shoes :p The receptionists were nice, building was easy to find, etc, can't fault a thing.
Hard to believe the other reviews on here are about the same place. I was so happy, everyone who came out while I was waiting seemed very happy. Maybe there have been some big changes in the last couple of years or maybe people only bother to write reviews when they've had a bad time. I think the same people from Walworth also do the clinic on Burrell St and I've only had good experiences there too.

This place is amazing! Dr. Kapila is absolutey the best GP I have ever had. He is exceptionally knowledgable and caring. I called him late in the evening recently when I was experiencing some pain and he helped with my admission into the hospital and referred me to a specialist. His receptionist, Louise, is remarkable as well. She helps navigate through the bureauracy and is a perfect compliment to Dr. Kapila. I can't recommend this clinic higher. If you had 10 stars in your rating system, they would deserve it. I will truly miss them when I return to the US in a few weeks.

The best care and services I’ve ever experienced. Dr. Kapila and Louise took care of me, my insurance communications and referred me to the best surgeon and hospital in London. After 6 years on fighting against cancer, I am finally cure, thanks to South Kensington GP Clinic. Highly recommended.

Been seeing Dr Kapila and Louise at the Clinic for little over 8 months and cannot recommend them highly enough. Dr Kapila’s links with industry specialists help make for speedy appointments at the relevant practitioners. Very knowledgeable and diagnosis’s were spot on.
Overall a very pleasant experience with the South Ken clinic and will definitely refer family and friends to them from now on.

Absolutely amazing clinic. Attentive, patient and by far the best gp I’ve seen. The front office is absolutely the best at ensuring timely appointments. The professionalism and patient care is the best I’ve experienced. They got me playing tennis again after a terrible shoulder injury. I can’t thank them enough.

Absolutely happy with the service received at the practice , Luise is so caring and profesional , Dr Kapila was lessening and understanding the problem 100% and gave us the best solution for the matter.
