This trash company is the definition of lowest bidder because they didn’t pickup my recycling for like 2 months straight and we would have to pile up our trash away from the road so when they come we would try to pack the trash can as much as possible. They also don’t have great money handling systems because we have been threatened with our trash cans being taken away because they claimed that we hadn’t paid when we had. Driving on my way to work I see other trash companies with super nice trash trucks while this company has trash trucks falling apart on the street and the service team leaves the drivers stranded because they take forever to show up to fix the trucks. I still don’t understand why we switched from republic services. I feel for the trash drivers because they seem like nice people but I don’t think they get paid enough. La county needs to switch companies again.

Every three months it’s a hassle to get trash picked up because way auto payment doesn’t go through.

The only thing consistent is their inconsistentcy.
At least once a month there's a failure to service at least one bin (trash/recyclables/yard waste-compostables) on the allotted collection day, where we have to leave the bin overnight.
Since they were awarded the contract for collection in our area, we have seen at least a 40% increase in our bill that can't be justified by the quality of their services.
Their drivers have also broken 2/3 of our bins, requiring replacement.
This week (post Xmas 2023), collection was delayed 1 day for the holiday. Our trash and yard waste/compostables were serviced on 2 different days...and as of 6pm (1/3/2024) our neighborhood still hasn't had the recyclables collected!
The County Trash Hotline is already aware of residents many issues with Ware's service, and has passed on the info to the Contract Administration Department for review.
The CA Better Business Bureau graded Ware Disposal an 'F'

Moved to this area this year and was surprised at the cost compared to my old trash company. The cost is extremely high and has already gone up in price. My card expired but the number stayed the same so I didn’t notice. I split the missed payment into 2 expecting they would resume my payment as long as I made the first payment, but they didn’t. I also had all my bins taken/stolen, one day they were just gone and they won’t replace them until I file a police report. I’ve never had a trash company be so much trouble and greedy. This is definitely a problem that the city of Whittier needs to address since they chose the providers.

Update. This complaint is about Daisy now. She did not call back as promised before end of day. Another week no pick up... going on 3rd week.

Paying for 3 bins when they literally just dump everything into one large bin. Phone rings forever everytime you call. Not sure if girls on the other line are coming up with new fake names every call because they all sound like the same 2 girls just giving random names everytime you ask for it. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

They work well with me, the bulky items are always picked up as promised. Today is Memorial day, so they will pickup a day after our usual pickup times this week. Their clamp truck broke my cans wheels but they replaced it, it was a phone call away. Job is always done to the best of their abilities. Keep up the continuous job well done guys.

I have automatic payment. Payment didn't go through b/c of new card issued. Do they call me or text me? No. So my trash wasn't picked. They did take the green waste though.
I get texts from them all the time for delays.
I told them when I called about my trash not being picked up that there are weeks I don't even put any out.
They won't pick it up till next week.
They suck. And there prices went up substantially in past 12 months.

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. Billing department seemed fine to me, competitive rates for the 10 yard roll off I got. Picked it up on time. Personally spoke to Jay Ware the owner and he couldn’t have been nicer. 4 stars only because I think dumpsters are too expensive to begin with, but that’s not their fault. Recommend.
