Cool little place for live music. Pretty slow the night we went but Jordan Isakson was great.

Such a fun place with the coolest bartenders! Lexi was so sweet and funny!!
Always a great experience at the Sheldon. This historic hall has good acoustics and incredible views of the stage. The ushers are warm and friendly, and the parking is very reasonable. I love seeing my favorite musicians perform at the Sheldon!
Watched a flamenco dance performance here. Loved the performance! The concert hall has several halls for theater, musicals, dance, any form of performing arts. Been here just once. We saw the flamenco at the topmost floor. It was time for crowds of people using the slow elevators.
Had such a good time here! I can't speak on the drinks since I don't drink but it was so fun!

Drinks were great, but they didn't have straws, which was weird. The live music was awesome! Such a fun place.
I am reluctant to select one star....We have been fortunate to attend "coffee concerts" for the past several years - good reviews UNTIL the most recent Christmas concert. To say the least "it was horrible" - completely inappropriate for a Christmas concert for older adults! Progressive jazz, most of which we could not identify as Christmas music and VERY loud! Just a little feedback since previous concerts have been so enjoyable and staff was very accommodating. Sorry - we hope that future experiences are more enjoyable. Thx!

Great spot to go see some music. We saw Dizgo and it was great. Friendly staff and decent prices for drinks.

The Crack Fox is an interesting place. Its decor is eccentric and so are its weekly offerings. From midnight yoga to karaoke it's a cool spot. Honestly it reminded me of a kitchy NYC lower east side bar ( this is a good thing). The drinks were tasty and creative and the bartender knew her stuff!

Limited beer selection but more than a few seltzers. Great atmosphere, even if you don't like country or bluegrass.

We went on a karaoke Tuesday and it was a fun time with friends. The place is not too large but just right for the groups coming in or going out. Drinks were ok, didn't try the food. Sound system was good but tends to get too loud for the singer's voice sometimes. Interesting place for an eclectic crowd.

I've been here a few times for drag shows and always have a good time. Overall staff is friendly and helpful. It is a little cramped sometimes, depending on the performance.
The last time we were here was Halloween, and they had people entering the back. I didn't like that much as the stairs were a little wobbly and hard to get up. Plus, people coming out almost hit us with the door as we were going in. I'm not sure if this is a permanent entry or just for the holiday.

I've been a regular at The Crack Fox for the past nine years (give or take a pandemic), so it's hard to write an unbiased review... But, on the other hand, there's a reason this has been my favorite bar in town for that long.

I managed bars and concert venues in St. Louis for 25 years before I found this place, and I was immediately blown away by the selection behind the bar and the quality of their mixed drinks.
I found myself coming back time and time again because I was impressed with the staff (and because they were booking shows I wanted to see).
After a while, it was the crowd I looked forward to seeing. This bar has always drawn a friendly, open-minded crowd. You rarely see women being harassed (because nobody there puts up with that), and I can count the number of fights in the past nine years on one hand. It's a bar for people who act like grown-ups and treat other patrons with respect.

Any time someone comes to town, this is the venue I take them to (because I truly feel that The Crack Fox is the most consistent example of how great the nightlife in St. Louis can be).

For anyone new to St. Louis, or just visiting for a short while, I can't recommend The Crack Fox enough. There's something great up there almost every night of the week (from karaoke to burlesque), and it draws some of the most interesting and lovely people you'll meet in this town.

The Honky Tonk was closed when I visited the area. Looks like a cool place. I did get a good photo of the entrance for street photography. I’ll have to get here earlier next time.

Didn't try the pizza but it looked good. This place is so welcoming. If you love karaoke it was a great place for it. So much fun! They have infused fruit flavors and they are yummy.

Incredible concert venue. Very intimate and comfortable, both for indoor or courtyard concerts.
Great place for local art and performances. The put-put golf series is really lovely. As well as catching a drink at the bar while listening to local musicians.

Awesome ally bar, amazing vibes and filled with amazing people. Danced my butt off on a Saturday night and lost track of all time. Affordable and has nice N/A options for my friends who don’t drink. Plenty of seating for a quick break and very accessible water. Also has arcade games and darts! All around great place, will be back here.

Pleasantly surprised by this cozy and intimate yet sumptuous venue! Loved the three section layout: lower front standing area, raised back area with tables, and separated bar area with chairs and booth seating. Drinks weren't great, but solid enough, and service was fast! Clean bathrooms with hooks and a place to set your drink. My main criticism is that they need to get the ventilation figured out... Place was not packed by any means and it was one of the hottest shows I've been to in a looong time.

Great live music. Great hosts. Hopefully they will continue doing these
The Sheldon Concert Hall was a perfect location for listening to the St. Louis Brass Band. The ceiling height in the auditorium as well as the angle of the seats facing the stage really amplified the acoustics. Paired with beautiful sounds is glowing color from the stained glass high on the walls on both sides of the auditorium.

The ticket system was easy to navigate online before the show and there was a line to buy tickets upon entering the building. However, no one checked to see if I had my ticket. I wonder if many snuck into the show for free.

I’ve been for comedy shows promoted by Mid Coast Media and each time was enjoyable. I give it 4 stars because the bar has a limited selection and parking can be tricky with it’s proximity to The Fox, but give it a try when you’re in the area!

The bartender said he was filling in, but this is the STL, he only wanted to give me 2.5 ounces of liquor in a Long Island Ice Tea. If this is his they pour liquor and charge $10 not a venue I would purchase drinks from. The show was great, no table service though and drinks were terrible.

Bartender with Graveyard shirt was awesome. Fun venue. Please don't sell out to Live Nation!
This place is great!!! The bartender was great, the host was great, the comics were great, I don't know what else to say! Check them out on Wednesday and Thursdays. It's worth it!
We went to the Sheldon to see Charlie Musselwhite and Elvin Bishop and it was a wonderful concert and an intimate show. We had a great time and heard some excellent music interspersed with fun stories from their hundred years of blues. Such a great place to see a concert! We'll be back soon!
The Sheldon is a world class, St Louis gem. This historical building boasts the best acoustics of any performance hall. In fact, Heather Headley once sand an entire song without a mic and no one had issues hearing her. The Sheldon's mission is "art without borders," they undoubtedly achieve that through the diverse performances and artists who come through. In addition to live musical and dance shows, they have an art gallery that is free to visit! Events like Golf the Gallery are a must see experience, along with any patron level tickets.

The Sheldon is amazing. I hope that every one who comes through our city is able to visit. If you're local and you haven't seen a show, it's worth it. Tickets are always inexpensive and there is literally no bad seat in the house.
Came for Golf at the Galleries. So much fun and really cool artist designed mini golf course. Reasonable price for kids and adults. They do have concessions and adult* beverages too! Buy tickets online, took us about an hour. Might be a bit hard for kids under 4.

I loved it! And as it turns out it is the home of someone I already knew. St. Louis is a big small town and all true music aficionados eventually find each other. This is is reminiscent of the infamous salons of Paris and New York.

Really cool bar . You can tell from the crown molding it's an old building that has been restored . It looks very nice . Staff was all very nice . Had a awesome band playing there as well that night . We will definitely be back
COUNTRY MUSIC AT A FUN PLACE = really great entertainment. The harmonica playing from Tin Mine along with Shannon Cox was extraordinary. Dustin Herring really cranked things up as the evening progressed. Very much the entertaining night.

A breath of fresh air to have some real country music in the LOU. My wife and I will be back - the owners are two of the most down to earth fellows you could meet. Great venue that will become very popular.
