A rare Gothic style cathedral here in the US. Almost life-size Stations of the Cross. Just magnificent!
Love the beauty and splendor. Definitely Catholic. Echo during the homily made it difficult to hear and understand.
Peaceful church in New York’s capital. No mass during the day. A must visit to see the stained glass windows and bathe in the peaceful presence.
Beautiful cathedral with friendly atmosphere that reminded me the churches I visited in Europe. Don’t skip!
There isn't a place so wonderful like the House Of God, and it is always open. You really feel like you belong to this place. It is peacefully guarded by the silence. People usually is very considerate and come to see the House of God with respect without disrupting the prayer time for those looking for solitude. There isn't a prayer that haven't been answered every time I come to pray here. God always has that special attention for those looking for him in a Middle of the busy life if the city
I was in Albany on August 18th and stopped in to pray. It was absolutely beautiful. The way a Cathedral should look. My friend and I were given a full tour by Patrick the Sacristan and it was wonderful. He was kind and splendid to talk to.
Fully renovated, this cathedral is an extraordinary architectural asset in the city of Albany. Very much worth visiting in person and/or taking the virtual tour online available at their web site
Beautiful place from inside and outside! It's free and you can take your time. When there's no session parking it's free and very central from other sightseens. I recommend to go to the museum next to the church first, because it closes at 5 and it's worth it!
A restful and rejuvenating stop on our way to Vermont. A beautiful Cathedral, and a very easy place to pray. There are some stained glass windows with scenes/images I am not used to which is terrific.
