Atrocious check out experience. At least 10 “self check out” stations with only 2 “cashiers” checking people out on 4 stations while 30 people stand in line. Whats the point of self checkout if I’m waiting for a cashier to check me out? Just go back to regular checkout lines with multiple cashiers. Maybe we can get out the store faster?’ We’re not spending more the longer we stand in line.

I guess the shop lifting epidemic can be blamed for the extremely difficult check out process, with that fact aside man these employees are by far the saddest angriest set of people employed in a customer service role. They are rude unhelpful and just seem angry to be there. I talked to two for assistance and one response was “hold on” and the other was I’ll check of course they never returned.
I get it, the check out is inconvenient but necessary but does the customer service have to this bad? How is management not aware of this? If you have to make these changes to preserve inventory from the criminals at least ensure your loyal law abiding customers feel as welcomed as possible in the new but necessary environment.

There is zero customer service here. Even when it's their staff who mess up. It's basically like "Oh well all we can do is a refund with an attitude." You're better off just buying your tools on Amazon. It's cheaper and they are actually helpful when things go wrong.

I had a very positive experience visiting this location on the evening of July 25th before closing. Jane was especially exceptional and helped me pick out my first plants and guided me through the entire process from start to finish. She was so knowledgeable and kind! Thank you again, Jane!

This is probably the nastiest Home Depot in the NYC area - maybe in the whole NY state, just like the other reviews state.
Pro desk closed in the middle of the day (1:30pm) and a zillion people on line for the express check out - expect to invest an hour or so to wait for checkout- the line in the photo goes around the corner and another 30 people long at least.

Parking lot is nasty too with litter, cars parked at odd angles and tons of laborers waiting for work scattered around.

It looks like someone discovered an abandoned Home Depot and decided to open it a day later without doing anything.
They should tear it down and start from scratch.
Any corporate execs embarrassed about this location? 🤔

This Home Depot is busy but well stocked and the employees are very helpful! We had difficulty with an online order for a few different colors of 8oz paint samples - the store was out of the finish we wanted. When we came in person, Essan at the customer service desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful! He made sure we were able to get the paint colors we needed right away in a finish that they did have available, and answered all of our questions. The gentlemen at the paint counter were also so patient with us as we figured out how to troubleshoot to get what we needed for a project set to begin the next day.

It’s staff like this that make us want to come back to this specific store for our future needs. Thank you!

the incompetence and poor management at this location is simply shocking, they recently reconfigured the layout with 14 self checkout machines, but they don’t actually allow anyone to check themselves out. Typically there are 5 or 6 employees running 2 or 3 of the self checkout machines while 40+ people wait in line. Employees are constantly shouting at customers trying to control the crowd that they have created by setting up the store so inefficiently. Obviously they’ve had a shoplifting problem but people would shoplift less if they made it easier and quicker to pay for things.

I loved every piece of item in the store. My new go to for all my body oils, butters , candles… everything! The quality of the products and beyond beautiful and outstanding. Worth every single penny. Truly happy I found this place

They have such amazing stuff , the woman was so helpful and amazing and helped pick out the best gift ever , I’m definitely coming back again!!!

I shopped for interior paint last month and I was shocked to see how little I knew on how to actually ask for the paint. I have not shopped for paint in over 15 years and I just thought you had to tell them what color you wanted. To my surprise, I was hit with so many questions like what color are the walls now and what room the paint will be going in. The staff member helping me was Les. He was very nice and patient with my lack of knowledge. I probably could not have done my project correctly without his help. The room came out great. It was A surprise gift for my 80 year old father. He loved it 🥰

Beautifully hand-picked and curated store with an awesome selection of art, jewelry (from local or hand chosen jewelers) lighting, perfume, etc. spread out between a few stores. My friend chose an incredibly unique, antique chandelier and had the best customer service with the process. Lots of thought & love went into the making of these stores.

Excellent communication and service - after trying to purchase an item from many other stores internationally, Collier West was the only one to actually understand my needs and work with me. They were very quick to respond and gave me free shipping. Very happy customer!

Been a customer for 4 years and have picked up a total of 8 art pieces from CW since 2018 when we bought a home. Recently we bought two large framed artworks, from in-store sales assistance provided by Mary Jo, to post-sale customer service over email and phone by Erick and Mathias, I give them 5 stars. Erick was fantastic in following up providing me with delivery update and tracking info, we love what and how things were delivered and the artworks are on the wall just like how we expected!! Matthias was also excellent helping me pick a surprise piece for my husband and it arrived within 2 days upon email ordering. We will shop at CW again for sure. Thanks!

I have just discovered this store! I loved their selection of homeware, candles and everything that can be given as a gift. I purchased there a small saucer with a print of the Soldiers' and Sailors' Arch. It wasn't cheap (USD 26) yet I wanted to get a souvenir referring specifically to Brooklyn. Furthermore, it was important to me to learn that this item had been produced locally in Ohio. I specifically asked about it, and a salesperson was able to find this information and answer my question. I would not have spent this amount of money on a Chinese product. Yet, in this case I was happy to support a local business with my purchase.

Love it in here!!! I bought this awesome mini incense set, though I wish I bought more. The people working there are sweet as can be too. I’ll be back!

The best shop for gifts and home decor in Brooklyn! I love their metal letter signs, great jewelery, and stylish rugs and pillows. Plus the entire ceiling is dripping with chandeliers, giving the whole space a sparkling warmth. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is great. My authentic Moroccan leather pouf is one of my favorite Collier West purchases (and my cat loves it too!).
