I walked in and asked for a table for 6 people at 8 pm. The hostess told me it would be an hour even though there were plenty of open tables in both dining rooms and the patio. I told my friend who had yet to arrive who does speak Spanish to go in and ask for a table while the rest of us were waiting outside by the doors. She got a table within two minutes and so after being told an hour we were seated 5-10 minutes later. The paella tasted like seafood fried rice from a Chinese restaurant. The sangria was great and very affordable. The servers were amazing and very attentive. Overall, I will not be coming back as English speaking people were clearly not being served equally.

Interior and vibes are excellent, a very elegant restaurant, inside and the patio. People start to line up before 1pm. If you don’t have a reservation, you might not get a table. Food is excellent, except a bit salty to my standard. Is it worth coming? Yes, good food and experience.

We ordered the steak, medium; after nearly 1.5hr, we still haven’t got the fish fillet and steak, we wanted to cancel it. After asking server a couple of times, server said he would get the steak immediately. Steak was served, but was rare. My wife called the server and wanted to return it. Server immediately said no return, you either take it as it is or we take it back and make it well done. So I told the server to get his manager. Manager was nice and understanding after I nicely explained what happened. He canceled the steak.

Later on, the server came and gave me the check then asked for tips. He said tips are included in the check. Well, I was nice to tip €15 anyway.

Very unique dining experience. All 1-3 star reviews don’t know what they’re talking about. We paid and UMA delivered.
Plus, look at this cutie pie. Their decor was as good as their food.

Me and my boyfriend came here on our last day in Barcelona after getting a recommendation from a lovely lady we met at another restaurant. This place is absolutely beautiful inside and we felt very underdressed for the occasion but none of the staff even batted an eye at us. All of the staff here are incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. Our server was Vijay and he was absolutely amazing, the food was delicious we had the classic mixed paella and a couple of starters. The whole menu is great value for money and was definitely the best seafood and paella we had during our time in Barcelona. Would 100% recommend coming here !!

The dining experience was amazing, my wife and I really enjoyed the entire evening. The service was perfect.
The dishes were creative, original and delicious. Beautiful presentation with great attention to details.
The atmosphere and ambience were very good and on par with high end fine dining restaurants.
I recommend taking the assorted cheese plate as it was an interesting tasting opportunity.
I liked the time concept and the decorative hourglass.
The open table setting allows watching the Chef working during the service.

A culinary delight that surprised me and challenged what I thought bar food can be. The dishes were amazing, with the sauce being the star on thinly sliced ingredients. The service was engaging, funny, and informed of the culture.
Standouts were Mushrooms and Wasabi, and Beets and Miso, the beef and cream sauce, and the most perfect Bread with Tomato. Perfection of oil and salt and flavor without being heavy. White wine by Biu very complex and good smell and color.

This place was amazing!!! I'm definitely coming back.

TLDR: Genuine great service, inspirational food, and even better price.

Service:
As soon as I got there, Martina asked me how many, and I said one, smiling she said we always have room for one. Sandra recommended dishes, and seeing I wanted to try more, she said I'll half it for you and guided me through recommendations. She even told me things not to get. Throughout the meal, she saw I was blown away by the food and even wrote down the ingredients for one of the dishes!! One of the sandwiches I didn't know how to eat and looked confused; a server looks over and starts pretending to eat a sandwich with her hands and she looked like she was very much enjoying the imaginary sandwiches. I was amused and grateful. I had a great time, so I was ready to leave a tip. But after Martina rings me up, she just say, "Thankk you have a nice evening". I was very confused. It turns out you have to ask to put a tip on. So....they did all that not expecting tip!?!? Sandra said, "Oh well" ....lol...so I asked to leave tip in usd, as I didn't have euros. Also, when I was about to use the bathroom, Martina sai, "Givee me your bag" to watch it. How incredibley thoughtful. I really had a great time.

Food:
I ordered
- tomato bread (get this)
- potatas bravas ( get this)
- Piranha roast beef ( get this)
I like the dishes above because they taste like a specialty dish with very very basic ingredients. I can litterally make this at home.
Also got:
Suckling pig sandwhich
And crema Catalina

I really appreciate them being able to take food and find a harmony with basic ingredients and just elevate the dish.

Price:
6 dishes, all half, 38 euro after tax.
I was full, and it was well worth it.

Coming in the restaurant already broadcasts quality and good service

We’ve selected the restaurant after it was recommended to us and that was a great recommendation

The food was excellent, the starters were good but the higher quality food was certainly the mains with a truffle cannoli and a great paella

Our waiter was very friendly

The reason I didn’t go with 5 starts is because of the speed of service, the place is quite big and when it’s full it takes time to go to everyone also I had to wait half an hour for a wine which apparently they ran out off

Certainly a restaurant worthwhile visiting

What a lovely experience! Service was impeccable, the food was wonderful, and the space was fantastic. The starter dishes of Brie truffle mochi and onion mousse were delicious, the pea dish was INCREDIBLE, and I loved the dishware! I also got the non-alcoholic pairing which suited my meal perfectly. Highly recommend.

Top spot in Barcelona! Tried the filet and a few appetizers and nothing disappointed - quality of food in general is worth the price and staff is kind
The best steak of my life and the old world ambience was breathtaking. Our server Manu was so kind and helpful and made the experience even better. Certainly an amazing restaurant 🌺

Amazing food! Homecook food with fresh ingredients. Very reasonable price as well. We think the daily specials, monkfish and the pig trotters is amazing but to nevertheless every dish we ordered is superb. Will be back again and will highly recommend. Good wine selection and excellent service as well.
Had an amazing Valentine’s Day in this restaurant - the food was amazing and the service super friendly!

Gute und interessante Auswahl an Tapas, alles von wirklich guter Qualität. Der rosa Humus war phantastisch! Der Service freundlich und unaufdringlich. Preis/Leistung angemessen. Alles in allem eine angenehme Erfahrung.
Several pieces of chicken were burnt pretty bad on the burger. Veal was not prepared well in addition only 2/3 onions were present on the plate, definitely not worth the price. Service at first was good, but near the end of the evening far below standard.

Among all the restaurants I’ve explored in Barcelona, this one stands out as the best in terms of dish taste. Every bite was a delight. (The attentive service, while they served everything directly to our plates, may not lend itself to the most aesthetic presentation, but I can assure that everything was perfect.) The absolute attentiveness of the staff and the exceptional taste of dishes together make this place deserving of a solid 10/10 for an outstanding dining experience.

First, thank Iker and his team made an unforgettable night at 15-Jan 2024 for me and my wife.
The dishes were creative, simply but elegant and delicious, especially the appetizer onion soup, green peas, and first dessert.
The foods are covered Japan, Thai, HK and Western.....My wife told me she really enjoyed the green peas, it tastes like a corn and suggested changing the lunch booking on Thursday to here, but unfortunately there is no lunch on Thursday.
Second, your team is strong and well trained. The servers are cooperative and attractive, the wines recommended by a young girl are so good and match the dishes. Marta is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and she explained all the dishes in detail to us.
Nadia was in charge of the kitchen that night, and my wife was very pleased for her. She is charming, looks confident, shows professional, skillful, and takes responsibility.
It can show that not only the trust between Chef Iker and the team is strong, but also the management and empowerment too.
I have been Barcelona twice and tried many fine dining restaurants, UMA gave me the differences. Will come again if I am in Barcelona.
Once again, thank you.

Wowww!!! Food was delectable. I visited Bar del Pla 3x during my one week stay in Barcelona. It was very convenient from my hotel location and I really wanted to try as many items as possible from the menu. I went around 5pm and always found a seat at the bar. It is a great place for solo travellers because you are bound to meet someone new. The servers are efficent and food comes out quickly. The patatas bravas was my favourite here, the sauce was incredible. The mushroom salad is raw and although it sounds weird, its sooooo good. The beef cannoloni was really delicious too. The puff pastry dessert filled with custard was scrumptious. Food was impeccable and served super fresh/hot. Cannot wait to return next time I am in Barcelona!!

This was a recommendation from a local and it was clearly a popular local place given the line/wait. It was only a few minutes before I was seated at the bar. Another local (while I was in line) recommended a strange dish and it did not disappoint - mushrooms and wasabi. Wow! The staff were nice and professional and establishment was clean. The other food (ham and mushroom croquette) was terrific.
If you are in Barcelona, definitely come to this restaurant. They have amazing food, wine, and even craft beer!! It’s my favorite place here so far

WARNING: Do not order bread. It's 3 euros per person, and you literally get half a slice per person. Felt like a total scam.

As for the rest of the meal, the veal filet with peppercorn sauce was the best thing I have eaten in a very long time, so I gave them an extra star. It was cooked perfectly and ever so scrumptious. Everything else was good, but nothing really stood out. The jugged deer was way overcooked, as were the lamb shoulder and the asparagus. The artichokes were way overpriced for what we got. The waiter said the salad was small and only for one person, so we ordered several for the table. The waiter either lied or was clueless because they are definitely big enough for 2-3 people to share.

Overall, I would definitely go back, but would order less and stick to the star attractions.

Pepa Tomate is the ideal place to have typical Mediterranean tapas with a personal touch. They offer a good variety of vegetarian dishes, many of which I am eager to try. This time we went for the legendary ‘bravas’ (perhaps not the best I’ve tried, but they are good), spinach fritters with honey aioli (a pleasant surprise), ‘calamares a la andaluza’ (you can tell the product is of a good quality), and meatballs with potato parmentier. Everything is very tasty and transports you to the traditional dishes of a lifetime (if you grew up in the Mediterranean) with an original and surprising touch. I recommend eating on the terrace if the weather is nice, although the inside of the restaurant is very cozy. See you next time, Pepa Tomate!

Best vegetable Paella I’ve ever had! I love this restaurant, it’s one of those places you just need to visit whilst in Barcelona to get the real Catalan experience! The service is so good, the waiters all have great recommendations, especially with the wine list. The best thing about this restaurant is that you can order a Paella for 1 person (almost every restaurant in Barcelona has Paella minimum 2 people on their menu)

The first night when we were walking around our hotel in Barcelona, we ran into this place. However, we didn't have a reservation and the waiting time was over 1.5 hours. Hence, the following day we made reservations and went with a bigger group. Unfortunately, as we had other plans we had to rush. Therefore only ordered 2 items and some Cava.

The service was good. The tapas were definitely fresh and delicious. Wished we were able to spend a little more time but glad we at least got to try some tapas. Would love to visit again the next time we are in Barcelona.

We enjoyed the atmosphere of sharing food with our friends. Recommend to visit this place but please keep in mind they get busy, so reserve in advance.

Food as it was meant to be enjoyed. Here, there is an understanding of how food should be. Starting with the deliciously fruity olives already on the table, to a perfectly light and textured fish salad appetizer, to a sumptuous main dish, and a revelatory dessert. A perfect meal. Oh, I forgot to mention the quite reasonable priced sangria. Make sure you reserve! It fills up fast!
Great little tapas restaurant. My wife and I weren't too hungry so we just ordered three dishes, all of which were delicious. The chestnut cake for dessert was out of this world. We had two glasses of red wine each and they were very tasty as well. The service and ambience were great too. Recommend.

This was my first and hands down the BEST culinary experience while in Barcelona. There was a wait and a few people in line in-front of us but the food was worth the wait! The tapas were out of this world!!! The croquets were amazing and so was the beef stew with mushrooms. The tomato bread is a MUST. The mushroom salad with wasabi dressing was super interesting as well! Service was great. It’s a crowded spot so it’s loud and busy.

Dinner tonight is delightful. Good service. If you are to be seated at the main dinning area at the main place, there’s live piano music. Decent portion of food. I ordered the mixed grilled fish and seafood for two without salt and it’s delicious. The paella is on the salty side. We enjoyed the food very much in general.

This place is a chef's kiss emoji and you should plan on visiting if you'd like to treat yourself to some of surprisingly fine dishes. This place is cozy and somewhat was a hidden gem because it doesn't look like much from the outside nor on the inside, but the food is amazing. Chickpeas blood sausage and bacon, yum, sardines and other fish, yum, and lengua cow tongue, all yum plus they only stock the fancy bottles of flat water served in a wine glass. The service is great here since there aren't many tables and the server has the best recommendations. Then finally, no weird looks if you can't finish your food and want to take it home, they'll pack it up in a box for you to enjoy later.

First let me say that the staff was excellent and very attentive. I never once thought about needing additional water or wine.
Definitely a culinary adventure. The flavors through the many courses were diverse and well created in my opinion. The best courses for me were the Mochi / onion, roasted eggplant, king crab / coconut, and Chef’s style of Thai shrimp curry.
Both desserts were delicious, but the sesame cake with beetroot, chocolate and caviar was a one of a kind dish. A “grown up” strawberry shortcake. Incredible use of different flavors and foods to create an aesthetically pleasing and truly delicious treat.
I will come again.

The fried octopus (very lightly breaded) over hummus and pickled vegetables was amazing! The bread with tomatoes, pork “pluma” over mashed potatoes (pictured), and brisket (not too spicy) were also very good. The cannelloni were just a little bit on the salty side for my taste, but the high-quality ingredients and expert preparation were evident in every dish. To top it off, the Pisco sour (cocktail of the day) and sangria (server’s recommendation) really hit the spot! The space was cozy without feeling crowded, and artfully decorated, while the friendly staff communicated clearly at every stage.

Angle is a 2 Michelin star restaurant that does a great job of balancing creativity, flavors and techniques at a high level while being completely welcoming and fun. We had the fixed menu (185 Euros) and split a wine pairing. The experience begins in the hotel lobby with some innovative cocktails and takes about 3 hours (for lunch).

The dining room is upstairs and is quite simple with a light centered on each table supported by a sweeping arch.

All of the dishes were delicious and visually stunning. We especially enjoyed the crayfish small bite and the sweet corn taco with fluffy foie flakes. Both packed a wallop of flavor. The hot bread is some of the best bread we’ve ever had and is served with 3 butters (std, smoked and aged). The grouper course is steamed next to the table - delicious.

The wines were nicely paired and included a beer for the chocolate dessert course.

Afterwards, the restaurant was kind enough to give us a kitchen tour. The chef and brigade were quite welcoming.

Definitely worthy of their Michelin stars and five stars for a fun and welcoming time.

The food is delicious, and the servers made it a nice evening. However, being only two waiters made it feel rushed that we needed to avoid making multiple requests, or take our time with the meal.

I’d recommend the restaurant, but just expect a faster pace of getting your food than other tapas bars. You are served everything all at once. Very nice ambience in the restaurant, still good service even with the constraints, and reasonable prices.

wonderful Catalan food- everything fresh - the service knowledgeable and all dishes absolutely delish- I’m still dreaming about the cep mushroom cannelloni
We arrived at 6:50pm and although they said they opened at 8pm they spoke to the kitchen and could cook all but one of the mains (an hour before opening)! We had potatoes and beef slices for starters and the were wonderful. The mains were fantastic although the staff convinced me have the veal medium well, not well (good choice). The staff were great and we enjoyed our food and would highly recommend the atmosphere the staff created. Ohh, and having the resteraunt to ourselves before 8pm was wonderful. Thank you!

We reserved this place for our anniversary trip to Barcelona based on many positive reviews and photos online. I’m not sure if we were there on an off night, but our experience did not live up to expectations.

For a high end restaurant, the food was overall not very enjoyable and at times inedible. This is the first time at a high end restaurant that I actually had to spit out a bite of food, it was that bad. The desserts were delicious, as was the eel in shiso leaf starter. And the bread course. But that’s all. There was a complete lack of texture to almost all of the dishes. The combination of flavors was questionable. And the seasoning was either under or unbalanced.

Service was awful. We arrived a couple minutes early- were seated promptly, then ignored. No one came to explain the meal to us, ask us about wine, or anything for 10 minutes. We were just sitting there waiting as everyone else in the restaurant was served wine & water, including a couple that got there after us.

Once the meal started, everything was just off. Wine glasses were dirty. I saw a server hold mine up as he brought it to the table, taking note of the grime on the inside, but then poured wine in it anyways. Cutlery and table settings were all beautiful, but clunked down unevenly by disinterested staff. Used/dirty dishes and glasses not removed from table after completion, so the table started to fill up with dirty dishes. Our water glasses were almost always empty. We had to ask the server to refill them on several occasions.

I could go on, but I highly recommend spending your money elsewhere. This was a very expensive meal, and we left extremely disappointed, especially since this was our one night in Barcelona. I wish we could have spent it elsewhere.
We had crispy chicken burger for lunch during a very rainy day. The glass extension doesn’t hold the water out so we had to change sits to stay away from dripping water. Starters good but burgers were not crispy and not tasty at all. Both me and my colleague agreed it wasn’t nice at all. Service amazing and staff very helpful

Not a mediocre 3 but short of 4.
I really enjoyed the old decor and ambience. The service was impeccable and friendly, but I really expected more from the food.
Nothing really impressed me and that’s not even considering the price.
The Turbot was a little hard, the squab was quite unbalanced and the Turnedo didn’t have truffles and just a small piece of Foie.
The best: the Flan!

Couldn't really taste anything... They have the rule that the table is booked for dinners only from 20 to 24 (pic). But be careful! If you arrive 19.40 the rule already applies, we were immediately kicked out because we wanted to just take a drink. Laughable. This is an honest review based on my dining experience. Google - please post this review.

We somehow managed to snag reservations at Angle while in Barcelona. We had an 8:45 pm reservation. When you arrive, you are on the ground level of a hotel/restaurant. They sit you in the lounge and offer you a glass of wine while you review the menu so you can inform them of allergies. After a few minutes, they take you to a bar area for a few quick bites before you as escorted upstairs to be seated for dinner. The dining room is quiet small so you see and hear most of the diners. As is typical with most Michelin restaurants, this was a tasting menu. Our menu was pretty heavy on seafood so I could imagine that bothering people who don't like seafood. I think about 4 of 6 savory courses had seafood as the star. We had three dessert courses and petit fours (chocolate bon bons). They also served a bread course (poppy and pumpkin seed) - we didn't finish our loaf so we asked if we could take the remainder home. They didn't have an issue with that but when it came time to leave, they couldn't find it so they just sent us home with a whole loaf. Overall, the food was really good and beautifully presented. I personally enjoyed the focus on seafood and it being a fusion of Spanish and Asian flavors. The only thing I disliked about the experience was the ambiance in the restaurant. It was so quiet in the restaurant that I felt like I need to whisper at my table so I didn't disturb the other diners. This is also a long meal so be prepared - I think it was about 3 hours.

Service:
We were a bit surprised to be suggested a service tip at the end, as it was our understanding that there is no tipping culture here.

Food:
Pig trotter was good and worth the price.
The daily special monkfish tail was good but expensive (25 Euros).
Leek was interesting, but started feeling less pleasant after consuming the first 3 pieces.
The cheesecake was good but not sure if it is worth 7 Euros.
Feels authentic and amazing food. Some great Catalan dishes, reminding me of mum's cooking growing up. Very reasonable prices and an understated homely atmosphere. Will definitely come again.
On our first night in town, we had a great experience at La Vinateria del Call, right in the center of El Call, the former Jewish quarter of Barcelona. We were seated promptly and had awesome service in a charming, quaint location with an extensive wine list (we had the house cava and white wine) and amazing selection of well-prepared and delicious tapas. Each one of them was outstanding, but we particularly enjoyed the piquillo farcits (peppers stuffed with hummus) and patates braves (spicy potatoes). We were there upon opening at 7:30pm and it was pretty full by about 8:15pm, though it never felt chaotic or rushed inside. And the area was wonderful to walk around before and after dinner. An excellent choice all around!

It wasn't bad. I will tell you about the pros and cons of this institution. I'll start with the fact that everything is very beautiful, starting with the restaurant itself, ending with the serving of dishes. A very, very pleasant atmosphere and a non-standard approach. We were a little late and no one met us when we entered the restaurant, everyone was sitting in their seats, the staff saw us and continued to go about their business until we ourselves came up with simple questions, like where to sit and where to hang our clothes. I think that for a restaurant with a Michelin award, this is unacceptable. Waiters mostly pay attention to those who drink alcohol, apparently because they make a big check. The only thing I would like to thank the brown-haired girl with curly hair (I don't know her name, unfortunately), she was very attentive to us, always poured water without asking, quickly brought the appliances and cleaned our table. The food itself and the quality of service confused me. Most of all, I did not like the dish, which consists entirely of peas, and my husband was burned with artichoke. Also, he was served tea in a rusty kettle, guys, this is not a service))
Overall, it was very interesting, but will we come back here again? Probably not.

We couldn’t have asked for a nicer gluten free friendly restaurant! Everything in these pictures is gluten free and tastes amazing. If I could only recommend one dish, it would be the Tigre (spicy stuffed mussels). The deserts all have a recommended pairing wine.

This restaurant is a hidden gem and we will definitely be back.

Staff made us feel like we were regulars and catered to our needs. The atmosphere was relaxed and the music was perfect. It was a perfect evening.

Came here due to the reviews, wasn't overly impressed.
All members of staff walking around very flustered and panicked.
More attention given to the larger tables over the smaller food tasty so may visit again if very hungry but not in a hurry!

While walking one evening we stopped for a glass of wine nearby. The bartender was busy but we asked anyway where to eat. Somewhere local, traditional Catalonian food. He immediately stated that he was Catalonian and pointed in the direction of Can Punyetes. Local, traditional, simple and quiet. The staff was so humble and kind. The meat and vegetables grilled perfectly. Ham, melon, cheese and bread balancing every aspect of savory and sweet. No frills, just straight forward good food. Such a wonderful and fulfilling experience.

We have been there 3 times. The tasting menu is always superb. My favourite was a tasting menu with a black truffle theme; there was black truffle even in the dessert. The service is the best and the restaurant has a classic decoration.

Food was below average. The Catalan bestsellers were not available - kinda understandable, but if you’re “Catalan restaurant”, you should have Catalan food all the time. Beer was hot, champions were too oily and Parmesan didn’t taste like Parmesan.

The portions were very small compared with the price (it was more like tapas than a dinner). Nice staff, but only because we were close to the bar. TOURIST SCAM.

An intermediate experience. It's very old world, the decor is outdated, the staff are very good but it feels formal. We ordered the tasting menu with wine pairing. The food had highs and lows, some plates were excellent (for example the quail), others mediocre to poor (eg the prawn with macaroni: the fumet was excellent, the macaroni way overcooked and not finished in the sauce). Given the price they charge for a mixed experience, I wouldn't return. You can do better elsewhere.

Very nice ambience! The food was fine but not great, the pigeon was not cooked well. The service was poor - we were told to eat faster because the kutchen was ready, and cutlery for the next course was arranged while we were still eating. On top of that, the waiter asked how much tip we'd leave which was rude.

Via Veneto is not your typical Michelin-star restaurant. It is a living vestige of the bygone world of high society dining, smart jet set, impeccable service and world class ambiance.

Yes, it is indeed quite different from many of a Michelin restaurant we have visited before. Having been in continuous operation for the last 50 years, Via Veneto (hint, hint at the hedonist culture of the eponymous Roman street in the 1950s and 1960s, immortalized by Federico Fellini's cult movie Il Dolce Vita), the restaurant, a favorite stomping grounds of Salvador Dali, employes old-school tuxedo-clad waiters, sommeliers proudly displaying their massive badges, intricate machines for deboning and serving, opulent interior, etc.

Needless to say, the food is on par. Dazzling, complicated culinary creations, Epicurean feast at its finest. There are two dining options, à la carte and a Great Tasting Menu, consisting of 8 courses, and offered at a bargain price of € 115 per person. If you choose on wine pairing, the total of the Great Tasting Menu will be € 150 pp.

Highly recommended.

A very local Catalonian restaurant with home-style cooking that caters well to locals, but also a great place for foreigners to try Catalonian food. The menu (available by QR code) is short and focused and the food presents relatively simple and delicious authentic flavours. There's also quite a lot of Catalonian desserts available though there's no written menu for them (the wait person will go through them with you verbally).

The walls are plastered with local Catalonian memorabilia and photos giving a great ambience and to help you feel like you're eating at a local but modern establishment.

Service was efficient and helpful. Overall a great place if you're in the area to experience delicious local and traditional food.

A paradise of gastronomy and "savoir faire". The Via Veneto is the only restaurant with a star in which the Head of the Room is more important than the chef. Friendliness from the door to the conclusion, extreme professionalism of all the staff, with special mention of the sommelier. The food, exquisite, the cellar, sublime.

We came for lunch menu, it was very good! Nice place, 23€ lunch menú! We like the duck a lot!
I loved this place. It's taken me back 25 years to a time when food was wholesome and comforting. Traditional Catalan cooking: earthy, tasty, hearty, as you would have had at your grandmother's. The roast lamb was superb and the desserts sublime.

We are beyond excited that we found this place! The friendliest restaurant we've been to in Barcelona! It was awesome getting to try Catalan food, the waiter was SO helpful and kind (he started by asking if we would like him to speak to us in Catalan or English...so genuine and welcoming!), and we had a great time overall! It was quite easy to order. Everything we tried was new to us and so tasty! We tried the leeks (the best of my life!), croquets (2 of each flavor), and gorgonzola cheese appetizer. The mel i mató dessert is a must-try! We really appreciated the whole experience we had there. The father and son team that run this place really created something so unique and special...loved visiting!

Very good local food at affordable prices. products are fresh and very tasty. The waiting staff is kind and helpful. Definitely recommended.
Good food, friendly service. Definitely a place that locals visit, bit the staff does not treat non-locals differently. Most if not all dishes are served with a side of toast brushed with crushed tomato. A majority of the dishes are tortilla based. Egg and potato. Unlike most tortillas that are potato heavy, these tortillas are egg centric. The postres, desserts, are small but delicious.

The best Catalan restaurant I've ever been! The place run by a father and son and you can taste & share all the specialities including fish, meat, vegetables. As a dessert, plum marinated in red wine is a must! For those, having intolerances, do not expect a gluten free menu, but almost all the dishes can be consumed if you skip the bread!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Modern place with traditional food given a spark of modernism, all prepared with great products and taste that end up being very nice! For 2 people we had 3 starters and 1 main dish to share. 40€ seemed reasonably cheap to us. I recommend to book in advance.
Really cosy, family restaurant, Catalan, best tortillas ever! It's nice, simple and cheap. If you are looking for a real typical Catalan restaurant where catalans people are going, that the place. (And the vermut... Lovely!)

Atmosphere is so nice and cozy. Of course, all tortillas we ordered were delicious. Patata bravas was good too. Price is reasonable. Waiter is so kind and nice too. I'm satisfied with everything in this restaurant.

This place was crowded. Probably because it's good food. I'm not experienced with Spanish food but I thought it was great. The service was very friendly I would highly recommend this place.
Nice small place with local simple dishes, seems like nothing's been changed in many years, in a nice way. Individual tortillas are offered with any possible ingredients. I'd say it's kind of exotic if you're not a local, and incredibly cheap
