Extremely rude manager/person at the pay til. The person giving me my pastries was nice, however when I went to pay, the person was incredibly rude, super dismissive, wouldn’t respond to my thank yous or anything. All this considered their pastries are subpar and overpriced. I paid 5 euros for three croissants and got horrible treatment in return. I urge whoever is in charge to pay closer attention to their customer service as it is quite unpleasant to deal with your staff. There are SOOOO many bakeries in Lisbon that are much better quality, service; and price.

Hmmm, went one time and had a very nice financier.

Revisited and had a poor pain au Chocolat. Sadly it has very little flakiness . Frankly it tasted very similar to mass produced one. So disappointing.

I do have high standards and expected something like the ones you get in Ogi in Porto which were fantastic.

Picture is of the Ogi one where you can see the high rise and layers of flakiness.

Impolite when ordering some of their pricey products. Then the quiches get dropped into a normal bag instead of carefully placing it so they don’t break. With an unpleasant: “take” we were told to take our products and pay with the nicer women doing the payments. Food is ok (there are better hip bakeries if needed) but their way to treat people willing to pay their high prices is bad.
I simply think its the best bakery in Lisbon.

Baguettes, croissants, gateaux, viennoiseries, i recommend everything. I’m just sad its a bit far from my place, i’d go every day.

What a delight to discover this French bakery in Lisbon! Like many reviewers have said, just as good as the great bakeries of Paris. The croissant was flaky, buttery, and chewy, and the escargot pastry with cinnamon had just the right amount of sweetness and spice…
But the real winner was the crusty rustic rye bread! While Lisbon has many great bakeries for pastries, I find it difficult to find really good rustic artisanal bread with the charred crust outside, and chewy inside. Perfect to have with Portuguese cured sheep cheeses. Highly recommend this place for any bread lover…
I’m French and yet this is one of the best boulangeries I’ve been to. We discovered it by luck and returned a second time only a couple days later… it was that good! Highly recommend the breakfast pastries like the croissant and pain au chocolat, as well as their delicious baguette sandwiches, great for an easy lunch or for on the go — we even packed some for our flight out of Lisbon!

I've been in France for about 3 years and whenever I miss french boulangerie, I visit here. No need to visit France. You can meet real French taste at this bakery! 😋

Such delicious pastries! This area doesn't have that many great bakeries, so it was a real pleasure to come across Ceres. Their apple turnover was my favourite.
