They have missed my child 1 year vaccinations and tried to put a blame on us as they must have sent us a letter or text a message for updates which they didn’t.after my son had his 6 months vaccinations done we were not told anything about the next time he shouod have vaccinations and when he turned to 2 years we had to have him 4 vaccinations at once for the missed his 1 year which was very painful for him.not acceptable such treatment and being careless about my child vaccination program it was very inconvenience.
Would give it zero stars if I could. My sister rang for an appointment and they made her one for 11.15am. On attending the surgery she was told no appointment had been made for her and she can't see the doctor. I rang the surgery to query this and was told she had DNA'd the appointment as she hadn't turned up. It makes no sense that she was told there was no appointment there but now being told she had not attended. There is something wrong with this surgery, my sister has had recurrent issues for the last 3 months. They keep sending her prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy and the manager does not want to help in the slightest and takes favour of the lies the receptionists tell rather than help the patients. Getting told to ring at 8am in the morning and then still not being able to get one is ridiculous. My sister will be changing doctors as this one is useless. My sister makes appointments for her children and then gets to these appointments to be told they had been cancelled, why had they not texted her to tell her this rather than have her walk all the way up there.
I transferred to this health centre many years ago following numerous issues at Hillside Health Centre. I have been happy with the service my family and I have received here.
Try to get an appointment... And join the hunger games. So convenient to hide behind pandemic two years after just to avoid putting Your back in and gett job done. Why do we even pay taxes...
Been trying to make an appointment for a week now! Every time I call the “que id full” which is absolutely ridiculous, rang yesterday around 1pm and got told I have to ring at 12 as no appointment left… after being on the phone for one hour! If no appointments are left why still have that line open to waste people time! The receptionist was awful I asked if any appointments left she said no call tomorrow. Good luck!
I’ve never dealt with such incompetence. How it’s taking 2 weeks plus to approve a prescription for numbing cream for a child’s blood test and still no progress is ridiculous. The standard ‘irs been approved and sent to the chemist’ answer which is just a load of rubbish. I honestly don’t know why they bother opening
Trying to see a Gp is near on impossible. Took 30mins to get through to be told a gp will ring me anytime upto 2pm. I wanted an appointment not a telephone call. Now stuck waiting for the call as need to see a gp.

The doctors in this practice are absolutely useless! Doctors are misjudging patients constantly putting their life’s at risk. Especially doctor Simon, he makes you feel like you’re wasting his time, he won’t listen or read your notes. Doctor Charlotte is exactly the same! People like these shouldn’t be called doctors at all as it feels like they haven’t even finished their GCSEs! AVOID AT ANY COST
Absolutely shocking service all the time! Can rarely get you an appointment and when you do get a phone call they’re useless. Rang up two weeks ago with numbness to the left side of my body couldn’t feel my leg what so ever doctor asked if I can carry on with pain killers or does she actually need to see me! What kind of question is that.. that weekend I spent in hospital the hospital said they’ll ask my surgery to book me a mri two weeks later I’m still waiting no one can find my blood test results and when I do re book in for more bloods they cancel on the day. Swelling which is fluid like keeps appearing on ankle leg and feet some times can barely walk and feel leg drs refusing appointment refusing to book mri as requested by hospital and told me to wait until physiologist takes a look next week! Shocking service and would avoid this surgery at all cost doesn’t even deserve the one star
I had an incredibly frustrating experience with this GP clinic. Their phone lines open at 8 am, but it seems like they only accept a limited number of calls, and by the time I managed to get through, the booking slots were already full. I spent nearly an hour redialing and waiting in queue, only to be told by the receptionist that they were fully booked. I even tried calling at 11:55 am in the hopes of getting a head start, but encountered the exact same issue. It's incredibly frustrating to spend so much time just trying to get answers and ultimately being met with the same "fully booked" response.

The practice has gone down hill for me since Dr Wright left. What a fantastic doctor he was. I have had several appointments with Dr S Keogh. He does not care at all, he never reads your notes or checks family history he just makes out you’re wasting his time. I have never heard one person say anything positive about him. My Dad went to see him last year in agony with his back, said doctor told him there was nothing wrong with him, he was rushed to hospital a month later and has sadly now passed away, his spine was riddled with tumours. Trying to transfer to another surgery asap.
Waited alday for a Dr to phone! And that call was given by reception ,over 2wks ago! The consultant who replacdd the whole of my knee, wrote to the Dr to say,if i have any problem then refer me back! So another wk has passed!
Not even worth a star, you ring at 8am on the dot and the call queue is already full, I’ve tried ringing every 5 mins for nearly an hour and it’s still full. I called 111 last night who advised I should call my GP this morning, to which I laughed as it’s impossible to even speak to reception anymore! And based on the other reviews I’m not the only one that feels like this, so frustrating!! They seriously need to look at how they work and the absolute shambles of a practice that they run!

Been a patient at this surgery for over 30 years and all the doctors nurses & receptionists have been really good but after making a recent phone call to the surgery my call was taken by a very RUDE receptionist who spoke to me in a disgusting manner!!! With people like her working there bringing nasty attitude to work will 100% bring this place down in reputation!!!

She needs communication training really bad!!!
It is impossible to get appointments. You call them at noon sharp. The queue is full please try again at a different time. You call them at 8 am the queue full please try again at a different time. So you think lets call 5-10 mins before the appointment time still the same answer. Lets say by any luck you do get an appointment you will only get a phone appointment the doctor will not see you. They might ask you to upload pictures on the portal. You may get a call 6:00 pm and the doctor might ask you to be there 6:15. All of this is very inconvenient honestly. I
I don't recommend this place to anyone. I ring them up at 8am and they answer at 8:27 all I hear there is no appointments left this happen to me alot of time when I needed them. I have two children they get ill but when I tried ranging them all I hear is there is no appointments and take them to walk in centre but the walk in centre is far or i can no get there but you are my local GP why can I no get appointments. How many times you want me to take them to walk in centre this what I did since I have registered here.
Very hit and miss. I've been trying for three weeks to get an appointment. Despite telling the receptionists why I need an appointment, they can be quite rude. Phoned up on Monday and one told be that I should go to another practice near my university. I live down the road from this practice, which proves my point that the receptionists do not listen to you.
This practice used to be outstanding, the staff who are lovely both on reception and the health professionals. The issue at this practice is actually being able to get an appointment for anything they don't classify as urgent ENOUGH, if you fall in this category it is a struggle to get an appointment. Although other practices offer pre bookables for this type of appointment and thus avoid trapping patients in a never ending cycle of the need to ring twice daily for an appointment yet still be able to fail to secure an appointment and in my case its been two weeks and counting this practice does not yet know when they will return to such a service so for anything they classify as NOT urgent ENOUGH you can easily find yourself trapped in their system of having to ring twice daily until one day you might get lucky and might get an appointment, as with lotteries sometimes you are lucky and will in this case secure an appointment yet sometimes you aren't lucky and will in this case like me fail to secure an appointment two weeks and counting.
Never found most of the Dr's here particularly warm or friendly but that's just personal view. However, as far as my health is concerned - I have been on medication for high blood pressure for quite a few years but since 2020 (that is a period of 3 years) I have not had one appointment, request, or contact regarding my blood pressure or the fact that I have had no meds in all that time. Out of the blue, over 3 years later, I get a text message from a 3rd party requesting input of my bp readings and a survey. A few issues with that: I have told the surgery I do not want my data sharing with any third party and they have clearly ignored this; I am expected to submit my own bp reading - with what? How do they know it is accurate and been taken correctly? The race to the bottom for patients in the NHS continues a-pace.
Everyone seems quick to complain these days, so I think it’s also important to praise excellence where we find it. Today I rang up and asked to see a GP and I was seen within a few short hours, the wait was minimal at the surgery, and the doctor and reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Keep it up 👍

The doctor who called Simon does not give any sign of care about the patient.

He puts the patients under rush and a lot of pressure by keep saying you have only 10 minutes, you have only 10 minutes….

This is not the first time I have faced this kind of situation with him,

So disappointing to have an appointment with this doctor.

The rest of the team members are kind
What a wonderful place to be registered with. All the doctors are unique, so compassionate and caring. The receptionist is lovely, polite, and listening, and most important, they pass the message to the doctors. I can't thank you enough for your help; when I felt helpless and agent with pain and needed urgent assistance, you helped me—such a fantastic team. Well done, everyone. You are doing a brilliant job. Thank you so much for your help and for looking after me, my family and the whole community. 🙏🙏👏👏👏🙏🙏

Hit and miss, can't always get a physical appointment, still not running a normal practice. Some receptionists are nicer than others. Dr's themselves again hit a miss odd 1 are OK others not worth seeing. Can’t book any appointments a few days in advance. Only on the day-Helpful for some and for others like myself really unhelpful.
Generally hard to be physically seen.
Appointments can be hard to get.
Took 4 days to get my little one an appointment!
Don't always feel listened too, or issues dealt with promptly/properly.
Extremely hard to get appointments! I tried several time for my mum and for myself

Receptionists are rude and discriminate! They are not helpful at all!
Rang dead on 8am and they told me it was full up for the day, after when I spent many times as a 26th in the queue. She ask me to call back at 2pm. At 2pm the problem was the same, she could not give me any appointment, she asked me to call back next day at 8am etc... Magic, annoying circle! They are playing this with me since August. I had a blood test last August and I still don't know my result because I can not have an appointment, when I have popped in to ask them to check my result they could not find the result in the system and she asked me to call them back at 8am 🤣🤢 unbelievable!
Today I told them I leave them and I've registered to another medical center. Best decision 👍
