Smells good but WARNING - if you don’t have 25 minutes to wait for a chicken sandwich you are better off going elsewhere. They should really have a warning on the door that says Nashville Chicken and your grandmas speed.

UPDATE: 100% worth the wait tho. So idk, guess I’ll order ahead next time! So damn good.

With the rise of fried chicken spots in L.A, The Red Chickz is worth checking out. They have locations in DTLA, Carlsbad and Culver City, and are opening a restaurant in Cypress Texas.

Their signature seasoning is full of smoked spices, and they use a lot of it! You can opt for how spicy you want your chicken to be. I got mild because I can’t handle heat. My husband picked medium and it wasn’t very spicy so they did great on the hot levels.

After you eat your fingers will be red from all the spices!

The cauliflower is huge. It’s the size of a baseball and my favorite thing on their menu. Dipped in seasoned batter and fried to perfection. We got 2 and it was enough for 2 people.

The cheese curds are bomb.
I want to get their cup of pickles next time.
Nice crunch to their chicken. It wasn’t overly crunchy, and they serve up fat pieces of chicken.
Taco Tuesday great deals! Spicy levels & sauce options are delicious. Breading isn't too doughy & just the right crispy. Also recommend side of coleslaw that is a great mix. They do need better drink options besides beer & snapple & soda. Ok, to eat inside if you don't mind Spring street in downtown Los Angeles. Would love to see what Culver City location is like.

One of the best chicken sandwiches spots. My girlfriend and I travel from SB to eat these bout twice a month or more. The chicken is perfectly battered. The flavor is so amazing and the spicy is the best part. Love when something is spicy but so flavorful and this is it. We get the Honey butter sandwich my girl gets the spark and I get the bonfire. The spark has some heat but definitely manageable. The bonfire will have u sweating but soo good I promise just if can’t take heat don’t get it. Their come back sauce is really good too goes great with the chicken. The fries are potato wedges and soo amazing nice and crispy outside and fluffy potato inside. They r absolutely the best. Now back to the chicken, it’s so tender when biting it just melts in ur mouth the chicken is juicy. Now it’s LA so don’t expect parking and a lot of seating. It’s LA u get what u get out here as in atmosphere so I don’t blame the company at all. Inside is very welcoming and staff is always helpful and friendly. Literally one of the best chicken sandwiches I have had and will continue to drive a hour or more to come eat it.
I really liked this place more than fancier persian restaurants. A nice gentleman whose name was Amir took our order and made sure that my friends and I had a great meal.

Absolutely fantastic.

No other way to put it.

I don't often bother reviewing places I've visited (mostly cause I'm lazy), but The Red Chickz ABSOLUTELY deserves all my praise. After going here twice (so far), I've got to sing my praises for the place.

Whether you're a vegetarian or a carnivore, or whether or not you love spicy food, YOU WILL SURELY FIND SOMETHING TO LOVE ON THIS MENU!

If you're looking for (superior) quality food at a reasonable price, you can't go wrong here!

What a great spot! I got the chicken tenders & they definitely make me want to come back for more! So much flavor & spice. Can’t go wrong with this place.
I stumbled upon Shayan Express Restaurant, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to make us feel special. Now, let's talk about the food – an explosion of flavors that awakened my taste buds. The lamb kebabs were tender and flavorful, and the aromatic rice dishes were heavenly. The ambiance was charming, with Persian carpets and traditional decor creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I left with a happy heart and a full belly, and I'll be returning soon!

Interior design was pretty nice for the vibes. I got to go food one day while at work for lunch. The food was good especially if you like crispy Nashville hot chicken. Spice levels were reasonable for the kinds that they had. I would say only downside is they didn’t have indoor seating available when I went and also the wait time for the food was around 20 minutes which was hard to make during a work lunch but for a regular dinner was pretty nice
Good Persian food and prices

I was a crispy chicken sandwich and came across this place. They did NOT disappoint!! We had the loaded fries and crispy chicken sandwich with spicy level “spark” and it was just the perfect balance of spicy but not to the point you can’t feel your tongue. My husband had the bonfire loaded fries but couldn’t finish them because his lips were burning and he’s Mexican lol just to give you an idea on spicy levels. We just took a chance on what level we chose. Parking is bad but that’s a given due to its location we placed our order online and got off to pick up and was in and out within 2 mins
Food was ok and charged me extra $3/plate for green rice but sent white rice. When called about it they just disconnected call saying OK instead of addressing the concern.
Ordered the grilled Salmon with rice. It was heavenly. The hummus was made creamy to perfection. The salmon had a smokey texture and rice was full of herbs. Liked their yogurt drink too it was minty.
It looks like a dive, but it's A-rated, and the food backs it up. Delicious. I bought the #1 $12.99.

My number 1 iranian restaurant in downtown LA. Prices are reasonable and the quality is excellent. I suggest its lamb shank. Also they serve halal meat.
The food was genuine and delicious, the food was hot and great customer service. first time impress was a charm. The bread was hot and warm, and wasn't hard but soft. I will be coming back.
