For over 5 years, Dr. Cope has been my committed and passionate naturopathic doctor. She has tirelessly walked with me on my health journey through recovery from Post-Birth Control Syndrome, my Perimenopausal transition, and a struggle with gut health issues. Through it all, her intuition, wisdom beyond her years, deep capacity for listening, and her multifaceted giftings have resulted in treatment plans that led to a total LIFE TRANSFORMATION for me.

Today at age 53, as a newly retired teacher and a brand new grandmother, I enjoy greater energy, mental clarity, muscle tone, sexual health, and overall vitality than I did as a much younger woman! And, no other provider seamlessly integrates PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL HEALING like she does. I have so appreciated the generosity she extends as she shares both her time and her knowledge. My time with Dr. Cope has been profoundly powerful on ALL levels of health. This review is long overdue but it needs to be said so other individuals and couples don't go to this incompetent practitioner. My wife and I saw this practitioner back in November of 2023. From the initial consultation which she decided to do over video call because she was on vacation in Costa Rica. During the video call, my wife and I could tell that her attention was not with us. She hardly had listened to anything we had to say and kept she kept cutting us off. She seemed like she was in a big rush and it seemed she didn't want to hear anything we had to say despite paying her $267.00 for a "consultation". Towards the end of the conversation, she just advised us to purchasing several medications costing from $200.00-300.00 along with doing doing a "special" lab test called Dutch test which cost about $500.00-1,000.00 as well her scheduling another 15 minute follow up for $100.00 if we had any further questions or concerns. My wife and I left the video appointment more confused than going into it and she didn't make it any easier. With that said, my wife and I decided to give her a second chance with the follow up appointment which was also video call. However, due to a family emergency we were unable to attend and we gave her sufficient notice that we are unable to attend. Surprisingly, she acknowledged our emergency and replied to me over text that she understands that this is an emergency and she wouldn't charge me the $75.75 missing appointment fee. After a few days what do I see in my mobile banking a charge from Copesthetic Health for $75.75. Obviously, I filled a dispute with my bank and I was upset and ensured myself I would do everything possible to get every penny of mine from her, which I did and she didn't want to she was giving my bank the run around for weeks. I made it very clear to her what she did was messed up over the phone and was loud and clear about it. Not just that, what other reviews have said about her is accurate as well. Her communication lacks, her scheduling is very sporadic, no follow up, and is money hungry and is unknowledgeable in her field. From the beginning it was a hit or miss with her she never replies to text messages, emails, etc. What's the point of putting your personal phone number online if you don't respond? She clearly never prioritizes her patients and don't give me that BS that "your not my only patient". Perhaps hire an assistant to handle your crap if your to "busy" to yourself? Everyone reading this, PLEASE save yourself the time and trouble of dealing with her its NOT worth the stress, time, money. If I could give less than one star I would. I really hope this review she will not only make herself a better person but an honest and professional medical practitioner.

I've really enjoyed working with Alexandria. The Mercier Therapy always seemed to be so well done, and I was especially grateful for the help she gave me for my sciatica. I would definitely recommend her and her services!

I have been working with Dr. Cope for a couple of years. I can honestly say at first I was not sure how this healing process would look like but I knew I wanted a more holistic approach. With Dr. Cope's homeopathic approach, I am in a better place with my health, something I was not able to achieve with traditional western medicine. If you're looking for results, professionalism, kindness and understanding, Dr Cope should be your first choice. For approximately 2 years my wife and I had sought the help of fertility specialists' all over the Northern Virginia area with little to no 'real answers,' or meaningful help. Dr Cope was a breath of fresh air and immediately helped us by turning our attention to the basics, nature, and factors often overlooked by mainstream fertility specialists.

I’ve been going to Georgetown since I was 18 now 40 I’ve been to this office a few times but they have always been very nice… I have no complaints.

I had been seeing Dr. Threlkel back in 2013 then I moved away from the DC metro area. Ten years later, I am finding the need to return to her even if we visit through virtual appointments. She has helped me beyond measure to work with me, encourage, educate, and part all of her knowledge to walk through my journey towards better health. She's awesome!

On March 6, 2022, at 1:20pm I had an appointment with my baby who is 3 months old and half . The receptionist took good care of us but when reviewing the information, she saw that my baby didn't have active health insurance, so they could not receive him. , but she said she would talk to the Manager to see what could be done, he came out and started yelling at us that he would not receive my baby only if we paid for the appointment right there, he yelled at us in a very rude way and with a bad attitude in front of the staff and all the parents who were there with their children... I understand that they have to follow a rule with insurance and payments but what is unacceptable is his attitude. If he had approached us in a good way to explain to us, of course my husband and I would have paid for that day's appointment, but his attitude was horrible with us. I think he was racist with us because we are Latinos, so we got out of there. and we went to the Children's National clinic on 14th street and there they received us so kindly and they immediately made an appointment for my baby so I better change my baby to this Children's National clinic on 14th street and I definitely won't be back to take my baby to that clinic ->>MGUH PEDIATRIC PRIMARY CARE MEDICINE

Run for the doors. Anybody other than this Pediatric or OBGYN office will provide better care than these guys. Seriously. Believe ALL of the reviews. I took my daughter in over two weeks ago. As of today, and many phone calls later, nobody has submitted her referrals to my insurance. Thus, I can't take her to any of the specialists she needs to see. And, don't think for a minute you can resolve any situation over the phone. They won't answer the phone, and when they do, they put you on hour long holds. Then the people who do talk to you try and shuffle you on to someone else. Nobody will actually take responsibility and get the job done. The level of frustration is beyond expression. I'll be changing my provider TODAY. It's remarkable to me that such an organization affiliated with Georgetown can be so sub par.

The doctors here are ok’ish, but some of the nurses are grumpy, rough with injections and the front facing staff are just horrible. Their attitudes are worse than KFC. Like they’re doing me a favour. We also paid to have a form expedited. They didn’t complete it and we had to chase after them to get it completed for the school.

I don't even know where to start about how I feel about this place. I asked them to complete a short 2-page form that took them two weeks and I had to go to the office in person to get it after a third trip. Then, we took our child for her first month check up and we were denied service because her insurance info was incomplete. I have been calling this office, the billing department, and the corporate office to provide them the insurance information and schedule a visit, but no one would answer the phone or return my email message. The doctors that saw my daughter were great and we wanted to stick with them. But we were forced to go somewhere else where the management and front office employees are really great. I would not recommend MedStar Tenley town.

The day after my child was seen for a visit, school forms were completed as promised right away. I can definitely say, they respected me about that and filled in all my address info and name for the child and everything. I switched to here, because I was taking my kids to way out where I'm also from in MD and it is so hard to get an appointment with the growing population. For my other child who is a little younger, I've had no problem in getting same day sick appoints. Left a message one time and literally was called back a minute later, for scheduling. Yes, this is a teaching hospital but when you need something they are there. I can appreciate this.

For years I have presented a challenge to doctors because of my sensitivities and difficulty tolerating many medications. I find this to also be the case with natural treatments. Dr. Threlkel has recommended several supplements which are very beneficial to me. Unfortunately, my sensitivities have often caused me to have various adverse reactions to some supplements, just as I do with certain medications -- so they often must be discontinued. I am pleased to say that Dr. Threlkel has been patient through it all; she is empathetic to my situation and keeps a positive outlook. She is also supportive of my own efforts to find treatments and tells me what she thinks about them, which I very much appreciate. Thank you, Dr. Threlkel!

Dr. Threlkel is everything you want in a healthcare professional. She's kind, thoughtful, and really gets to know each patient. She truly takes an individual patient approach to her practice, and she's been an incredible support to me throughout my health journey. I am a doctor of oriental medicine and have worked with many integrative practitioners over the years. Dr Threlkel is one of a kind. She has made a huge difference for me with many concerns, including hot flashes, sleep, anxiety, and fatigue. She is an excellent listener, a skilled clinician, and cares about her patients. I recommend her highly.

They are more concerned with lunch than helping their patients. I had an 11am appointment today for my daughter infusion which is very important to her health. After every appointment I'll make her next appointment while there. I always put the appointment in my cell phone calendar when given to me and repeat it back to the person to ensure I have it correctly, I'll also take the appointment card they give. I always check both before her appointments to make sure because we travel an hour to get there and she misses a whole day of school. They moved the appointment without calling to inform me. I know this because we had this appointment time before and I was called and asked if we could come earlier so the person wouldn't have their lunch interfered with. This time no one called or will omit to moving the appointment. Maybe they should have two people working the rooms so one can go to lunch while the other person cover so they can continue treating the patients. Will have to look for another fusion center.

I've been working with Dr. Threlkel since the beginning of the year for issues with my hormones. The regimen she designed for me has made such a tremendous difference in how I feel. She listens intently and answers all of my questions. Her corrective approaches are not overwhelming but incredibly effective. I was lucky enough to have a telehealth visit with Dr. Threlkel a few weeks ago, to review my genetics test results. My experience with her was that she was thorough and comprehensive in her analysis and explanations. Where other health care practitioners and doctors may give summaries, I felt Dr. Threlkel gave me enough background information that I came away feeling like i not only had a better understanding of the test results, but also a plan of action for how to best manage my nutrition, lifestyle and supplement routine to support my health.
