Karen Threlkel has always been conservative and thorough with my treatments, open to coordinating with my other providers to ensure I have the best care. She is always responsive and takes the time to explain treatment, testing and next steps. I'm so appreciative for her care.

I had been seeing Dr. Threlkel back in 2013 then I moved away from the DC metro area. Ten years later, I am finding the need to return to her even if we visit through virtual appointments. She has helped me beyond measure to work with me, encourage, educate, and part all of her knowledge to walk through my journey towards better health. She's awesome!

For years I have presented a challenge to doctors because of my sensitivities and difficulty tolerating many medications. I find this to also be the case with natural treatments. Dr. Threlkel has recommended several supplements which are very beneficial to me. Unfortunately, my sensitivities have often caused me to have various adverse reactions to some supplements, just as I do with certain medications -- so they often must be discontinued. I am pleased to say that Dr. Threlkel has been patient through it all; she is empathetic to my situation and keeps a positive outlook.
