Cute looking place, with attractive looking menu.

Unfortunately I think the food definitely did not live up to the expectations and the other reviews.

The Pumpkin soup tasted watery and very sweet (did not taste many other ingredients).
The Vegan burger was very solid, difficult to swallow almost and did not taste fresh, more like a supermarket frozen patty.
The Pinaple flower drink, tasted like water, hardly any fruits in there at all.
And all that for the price of 185k...
Can't recommend it at all.. if you want to cure your Vegan hunger.. Would still go somewhere else.

Possibly the best vegan food i tried ever! Refined taste and presentation, just like a 3star Michelin restaurant experience! Very nice and fast service, reasonable price. Only down side is hard to find, maybe a little dificult to see from the street. A real must for any Ubud vegan visitor!

Definitely One of the BEST CREPE I ever had! Ordered the vegetarian with mushrooms plus local vegetables… WHOA did not expect this level of yumminess!!!

Service, ambience is sooo nice. With the lord of the ring’s music playing in the background. It feels like a magical land of crepes

It's a refreshing restaurant even for those that are not vegan should give it a try, they have a beautiful menu where you can check out all the ingredients and get informed on what type of food is beneficial for your body. We tried the tofu BBQ skewers (really nice), potato steak (amazing!), vegan burger (not my favourite), kombuchas were tasty and the dessert can surprise you for sure. They had some new additions to the menu but were not able to serve yet such as gnocchi - definitely would be interesting...
Incredibly disappointing. Took an hour to make our very simple orders and they came with ingredients missing. My husband had the eggs Florentine with extra watery hollandaise sauce? And I had the potato rosti with no avo salad...
The hot chocolate was quite good though. Feels like they spent more time choosing their relaxing music than making the food good. Too expensive for what it is. Would not recommend and won't be back.

Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere is calm and peaceful and the workers were so nice. Food came out very fast and the Nutella crepe and smoothie bowl was amazing. Highly recommend if you want a sweet meal.

Spell Creperie is a cozy place with a great variety of crepes, both savory and sweet. They use organic ingredients and offer vegan and gluten-free options. The crepes are delicious, and it's a nice spot to relax and people-watch while enjoying your meal.

A lovely little cafe that feels worlds away from the busy streets below you. Delicious food with lots of options for different dietary restrictions and friendly staff to welcome you. I will definitely be back!
Beautiful venue with a gorgeous outlook. I ordered the Balinese Curry. I believe it’s the tastiest curry I’ve ever eaten! Very reasonably priced also. 100% recommend you try when in Ubud.
Cheap and cheerful, typical Balinese food in a small waring. Food came quick, great selection also for vegetarians.
Also, if you haven’t had a gado gado yet, you absolutely have to try.
I have found it just walking around, I happy I come here
The very interesting atmosphere with nice and comfortable pillows to sea. They have 2 stores, I choose the 1st Flore near street)

I choosed Avalon crepe to try, it was tasty, salt caramel and fruits.
I like it

Writing this review while I’m still sitting in this cute vegan restaurant. The restaurant has a clean chic vibe. Location is not disturbed by too much traffic noise, which creates a lovely romantic atmosphere while dining, even on solo travels :) The food was exceptional. Fresh and flavourful - you really feel like you’re doing your body a favour by eating the amazing healthy options the restaurant provides. I would highly recommend!

I had a wonderful meal and experience at Wild Vegan. The staff were so friendly and attentive. I came for dinner after a relaxing yoga class, so the light ambience was perfect for a tranquil solo dinner. I loved that the menu was limited in the sense that there was not an overwhelming amount of choices to decide between. I ordered the Tepache to drink - light and refreshing. For a starter, I tried the BBQ Tofu skewer... loved it and will order again. The veggies are raw adding a nice fresh flavour to the BBQ'd tofu. For mains, I ordered the Mediterranean Pulled Pork wrap - loved the flavours (delicious hummus) and accompanying fresh, good quality salad. Very filling. Despite being stuffed, I ordered the Raw Orange Cheesecake for dessert. Was a perfect level of sweetness after the meal - although, I probably should have saved half for another time as it was rather large (that's not a complaint, haha). The dessert fridge is filled with delicious raw desserts, I will definitely be back to try the burger and some more desserts before I leave. Highly recommend.

Summary: delicious food, attentive waiter, very quiet and zen vibe

The details:
+ extremely aesthetically designed restaurant
+ calm harp music playing throughout (quite loudly, though)
+ lots of choices for seating, ranging from traditional table and chairs to floor cushions and even two teepees!
+ gorgeous menu, brilliant prices (but remember tax needs to be added)
+ ginger beer, bbq tofu skewer and a pitta dipping board were what I ordered and they were all stunning
+ waiter speaks great English and is very attentive
+ cakes for sale too
+ it makes being vegan easy when food tastes this good 👏🏽

- they don’t sell bottled water
- getting into the restaurant will be difficult for those with accessibility issues as there’s a slatted wooden bridge that crosses a big gap between the road and restaurant
- there are a few ceiling fans, but they do not particularly do much, so expect it to be a warm eating experience!
The portions are small for the prices. But the food is good. Very nice views

Delicious homemade food.

It has the peculiarity of having a collection of other countries bills. If you don't see your country in the picture and decide to visit, leave a souvenir bill for the collection.

As soon as we walked into the venue, it felt like a peaceful paradise that made us feel so delighted to be there. Truly a wonderful sight. The food and the medicinal teas were incredible - they were so fresh, and delicious. We enjoyed the space, we enjoyed the food and more than that we really enjoyed the beautiful service of the staff. Highly recommend everyone to visit this beautiful restaurant!

What looks like a spiritual shop in the front, is an excellent restaurant in the back. Try the seats in the back for a stunning view over fields, palm trees and a gorgeous sunset! Good food, very good coffee and super friendly staff!

The food and smoothies are amazing! Really great prices and all the staff are so friendly!
Highly recommend!
I have stayed in over 15 hotels in Bali, ranging from $20 to $2,000 and I can confidently say Sweet Orange is the best value of them all!

I stayed over 10 nights here over several stays in both the deluxe villa and the Joglo style (traditional Javanese). The cleanliness is 10/10 (compared to even more expensive places in Bali!) and the service is so fabulous. Everyone there is very nice and welcoming and have great communication in person and over WhatsApp.

The location is sublime, feeling peaceful in nature in the rice field, but so close to the city only about 10 minutes walk. I definitely got my steps in and felt like I could have both options easily! Plus I saved a lot of money from not having to take a taxi all the time.

The WiFi is super strong in the rooms and in the restaurant, and I was able to get work done and stream Netflix :)

Also the FOOD: oh my gosh, the food! You will not find tastier food in Ubud! It’s so fresh and colorful, just look at the photos! It’s so convenient if you don’t wanna stray too far from home, especially in wet season.

I also love that Sweet Orange is owned and operated by Balinese, so you know that your money is going back into the community instead of foreign property owners.

Finally, here’s some things to keep in mind depending on what type of traveler you are:
- you will have to walk. The only way to access the hotel is by walking a trail that requires a sturdy 10 minute walk, usually in the heat.
- the hotel is in nature, blessed with the sounds of birds, geckos, frogs, and buzzing wildlife. Keep this in mind if you’re a very light sleeper
- all of the rooms have stairs. Didn’t bother me at all but if you have mobility issues, it might be a tough one

Such a cosy cute restaurant run by Rama.
As you can see, the other reviews proved to be right.
Rama cooked the food for us fresh as we ordered with a warm smile.

Being french in Bali, I was so happy to find this place and be able to eat delicious crepes. They are huge !!! And very yummy. The place is very cute and the staff is amazing. I highly recommend
An old favourite over the years. I come here every time I’m in Bali and it hasn’t change, it just drips with positive energy and atmosphere, one of those rare places that just feels so good to be around. The staff are lovely and It’s just a bonus that the food and drinks are really good as well.
I was staying out in the area and this restaurant was recommended by the hotel I was staying at. It was delicious. Had the Sweet Orange taster platter to start and really enjoyed their putu sauce. Then I ate the Mie Goreng Ayam which was very flavourful. Wish I would have had room for dessert.
Beginning as a narrow, rugged path with a small sign right next to the museum, the trail opens out onto rice fields and becomes much more manageable. The Sweet Orange Warung is a delightful surprise, especially coming from this direction. We just had one of their delicious juices, but there's a great variety of good food choices as well. We bought several items from the small assortment of quality gifts.
Continuing on the trail, it becomes clear that this is the well taken care of main access leading through a busy shopping walkway back to the main road.

A short walk away from Jl. Raya Ubud for some tranquility. The food is super fresh, and so are the drinks. This is the second time we've been here this trip. We've had the poke bowl, ubudian favourite rice bowl & the fibre salad. This time I felt like a boozy drink with lunch and got a shot of jack daniels to add to my iced lychee tea. Love this place, would come back.

The first sip of soup already had all the deliciousness of a food dream.
Do people have those?
We do.
Pleasant heat (which can be adjusted) and wonderful textures of delicious vegetables.
We will be back for a cooking class with Daya to find out how she manifests these savory dreams.

This place is a gem. Really excellent food in a town of hidden gem restaurants. Don't let the coffee shop look of the restaurant fool you. We had fish satay, nasi campur and the martabak. Each dish was as good as I've had anywhere else in Indonesia. Perfect amount of seasoning and chilli. Beers are cold and the staff have a smile. People watching in the street out the front is also world class. NB, if you park in the doorway of the shop in the shop over the way so that the owner can't get in or out, you are a prick.
For me, it is a comfortable place to eat, even if you are alone. The atmosphere is quiet with very beautiful views at sunset, the food tastes OK for me and the prices are affordable. The staff are friendly too
The best Cap Cay I have ever eaten! A small warung run by a friendly Ibu. She does it all herself. The food is truly amazing. The flavour authentic, the price low and all served with a smile. I'm so happy I made a wrong turn and found this place. It is right in the centre of busy ubud but on a calm and quiet gang.

We only had drinks here because the offering of vegan dishes didn't impressed me...
Solid Oat Latte, Strawberry Blondie was good, but the best was the Banana Caramel Peanutbutter Milk! Hihghly recommend! Just order with plantbased milk instead of coconut ice cream (i hope the caramel is also vegan but staff said yes).
Overall its nice for a drink or two, but expensive and just a few vegan options.

Came for a cocktail on my first afternoon in Ubud, ended up coming back that night and every other night I was here (x6!) The staff are attentive and genuinely beautiful, helpful humans. The food is outstanding - I tried a different dish every night, each one better than the one before. The ambience is to die for, classically decorated (the chandeliers are stunning) and so comfortable.
The mix of local musicians is a great addition. Absolutely loved everything about HerbLibrary and highly recommend it.

From a nice rice field walk (some hairy moments walking planks over big drops!) you happen across the Sweet Orange Warung. It's very peaceful here and you can enjoy a nice meal. Not sure about all the weird coconut faces, but I'm sure the kids will like them.

A great find while walking around the rice fields, very beautiful setting. However, local food looks nice but overpriced and food was cold. I have definitely eaten at much better Warungs with fantastic food. You are paying for the view only here.
Google maps navigating wrong. Check map included in review. You can walk from ubud palace or go with scooter most of the way and then walk last 440m. The scenery is amazing and food as well. Very good coffee and drinks.

This hidden away place was one we just stumbled upon by accident.
Its location is fantastic amongst rice fields and local farm homes.
Sweet Orange Warung is beautifully laid out for a relaxing stop for a juice, drink, or meal.

Stumbled upon this place on the hunt for a really good Warung for my last meal in Bali. And after 6 weeks here, this is by far the best I’ve had and the most special. Run by a mom and her daughters in their home, you can feel the love and energy in this place. She sources the ingredients each morning in the market, food is made fresh to order, and you can taste the freshness and love in each bite. Really sad I didn’t find this place sooner, but I will be back!

DON’T MISS THIS!!
I went there two days in a row and the food was delicious and healthy. It was a bit expensive compared to other restaurants in Bali but this place had many health food options and the seating was so comfortable. I highly recommend the Ubud rice bowl and their health juice! I’d definitely come back when I visit Ubud.

A lowkey local place a bit hidden from Ubud's typical noise. Dined here twice and always left happy. The lady working there is super nice & food was amazing. Not to mention really well priced.

A restaurant with some unique dishes. Lots of healthy drinks, and some interesting soup too. Food were nice but not extraordinary. Desserts were normal, the coco lime pie was better than the apple pie. Overall still a very pleasant dining experience, just maybe I expected more. Some guests also danced to the music and enjoyed themselves so much, quite a nice atmosphere. Lastly, thanks to Kiki for her attentive service throughout the night.

I had the most heartwarming and authentic dining experience at Warung Rama Restaurant in Ubud. The atmosphere exuded a sense of homemade comfort, with a mother and her daughters crafting each dish to order. The commitment to using fresh ingredients was evident in every bite, as the flavors truly shone through. It's incredible to know that the ingredients are sourced fresh every morning – a dedication that is clearly reflected in the taste.

The prices were unbelievably affordable, almost to the point where I felt guilty! The value for money was exceptional, especially considering the outstanding quality of the food. Each dish was an absolute delight, showcasing the richness and authenticity of Indonesian cuisine.

For those seeking a genuine Indonesian culinary experience, Warung Rama is an absolute gem. The flavors, the warmth of the staff, and the inviting ambiance make it a must-visit destination. In a world where commercialism often takes center stage, this restaurant stands as a testament to the beauty of homemade, heartfelt food. If you're in search of true Indonesian flavors and an unforgettable dining experience, don't miss the opportunity to savor the delights at Warung Rama.

This place is so lovely! They serve really fresh and delicious young coconut here and even cut the hole in a heart shape for us 🥰 I tried their mango smoothie bowl since mango juice was not offered due to it not being on season but it was very refreshing still. Satay Ayam was tasty as well. It's right by a small alley that's not so busy, so it's pretty quiet with not that much motor noises. Would love to visit again to try their dessert next time!!
