I had not visited lemonade in years. I was a frequent customer when I lived in the area. As soon as I walked in everything was completely different than how it used to be. There were no longer ready made fresh salads and sides to view and choose from. The menu has definitely been minimized. The prices obviously went up. The portions were mediocre and looked nothing like what was being advertised. My tween chose a poke bowl and she said there were like 6 pieces of poke and she counted 2 pieces of avocado in her rice! My youngest did not like her Mac and cheese, which she chose with a fruit salad. The fruit salad was a pile of mandarins and cantaloupe. I ordered the mango chicken and it tasted nothing like mango and the quinoa which was loaded on my plate was super soggy and not appealing.(The mango chicken that the cashier suggested showed mango chunks on the chicken in the image on the screen and the mango was nowhere to be found. I went to ask if they forgot to put the mango on top as advertised and she said no it's just a mango chutney. If you search online for the mango chicken bowl you'll see.) The lemonade options have also been reduced and it tastes super fake. So sad that once a favorite place, I will no longer return to. Also, the tables were very dirty. We opted to sit outside and it was awful.

DO NOT GET THEIR TUNA. Now that they have the front area covered you can’t see what goes on behind the glass. Their tuna is OLD and NASTY made all of us sick for days. Front cashier was very neutral in mood and didn’t ask if we had any questions about the menu or seemed like she enjoyed her job.
Miso Beef was 90% fat 10% meat - do not recommend.
Sadly it was an overpriced bowl.

Okay, I just went to Lemonade for the first time today and here's an honest review. I went with a group of my friends and we all got our food. Keep in mind, one of us is allergic to nuts. This will be important to what happens later on. We all ordered our food, sat down, all jolly and excited to eat. The friend that is allergic to nuts and I both got the Ahi Tuna Avocado Poke bowl. Another friend got a meal that contains almonds. The employee brought our food out to us, which was nice. After we started eating, my friend who has the nut allergy began experiencing symptoms of an allergic reaction. She immediately stopped eating her bowl and we went to the employee at the counter to ask what was going on. The employee admitted that the meal that contained nuts was made right next to the meal that was NOT supposed to contain nuts. They remade a new meal for our friend with the allergy, but you know, it just wasn't the same. There was no more sesame on the new meal and we were all pretty disappointed that cross contamination most likely played a factor in the allergic reaction. I'm disappointed the menu contains both nut and nut free meals, but they failed to disclose that they are made in close proximity of each other and give the customers a heads up that "hey we cook things with nuts around here, so be careful." They didn't say that at all on the menu. Also, in my Ahi Tuna Avocado poke bowl there were probably 5 pieces of little cut up tuna, that I paid $16 for. I'm a big boy and I need protein, and paying $16 for small portioning with little protein is a little frustrating. I do not recommend going here if you are on a bulk. And be careful if you are allergic to nuts, some traces of nuts might even get in your food even if it is "nut free."

I have been a huge fan of Lemonade from the very beginning but the recent change of blocking the customer from seeing the food is a huge turn off. I used to go in there and look at all the food and that would help me decide what to eat. It's not clear that you can get just 3 sides like you were able to before, now it's a build your own where you have to pick a protein and 2 sides. The chicken I got was super salty I couldn't eat it. So I had mashed potatoes, rice, and avocado tomato which was also subpar compared to what it was once before. This will be my last trip to Lemonade unfortunately.

Overall great vibe! The person who welcomed me in was so kind and patient. I told her I’d never been here before and she treated me so kindly.
I ended up getting the mango chicken, truffle mac and cheese, and a raspberry lemonade. I enjoyed the food, and she even let me sample the Mac and cheese before I got it.

As a Latina, these have to be some of THE best tacos I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious! This place is a must try.

I tried the carnitas, SD carne asada, and portobello tacos. I also came here a second time and ordered tacos to go. I ordered the carnitas, quesabirria, and pescado tacos. My personal favorite taco that I've tried so far is the pescado -- the perfect fish taco with great structural integrity and balanced flavors!

Had an amazing dining experience at True Foods, much of which can be attributed to Grant, the manager. His exceptional service, attention to detail, and genuine care for customers were standout. Grant made thoughtful recommendations and ensured our meal was nothing short of perfect. The food was delicious, fresh, and memorable. It's rare to encounter someone as dedicated to customer satisfaction as Grant. Highly recommend visiting True Foods, especially when Grant is around. Looking forward to our next visit!

Ended up trying the burger after long deliberation of the excellent menu. To quote Pulp Fiction, "That is a tasty burger." Like, really good. Friends loved the rainbow trout. And the flourless chocolate cake was almost as good as a molten chocolate cake (but honestly, is anything?).

They want everyone to have a good meal so they're happy to accommodate food allergies or preferences.

We really enjoyed our food, the waiter was great, and on a rainy weeknight we were able to sit and talk before and after dinner. Nice place to be. Looking forward to returning.

**disclosure***.... you should know this place serves small plates. Based on everyone's posts and pictures, they don't really say that or it doesn't seem like small plates. Nonetheless the food is delicious and for someone like me it's just enough food, especially if you are looking for something lighter. But do note you will be spending about the same amount for a bigger breakfast/brunch else where. So it really just comes down to the quality of food. You can taste the time and effort they put in it. The only thing I would request is fresher fruit.
The ambiance is great and the outdoor seating is so pretty but it was raining so we sat inside. Due note there is seating at the bar but very minimal seating inside, mostly for 2 tops.
I do want to point out the server handling her $h!+ while in beast mode but still keeping a calm and pleasant presence. I can't remember her name (crying) but she had a beautiful tanned like skin, long black hair a bit wavy, and thick eye liner like Amy winehouse. Forgive me for guessing her race but she seemed hispanic. She suggested the PEAS OF MIND (lavender latte) this was good might not be everyone's cup of coffee but I enjoyed it.

Service is great! nice atmosphere and nice relaxing environment, the menu it is ok, we tried the French toast, pancakes, and the Turkey Benedict ... They are definitely different than a regular meal, but for the price? everything has a great presentation, but I was not that impressed with the flavors.

I dropped by a few days after visiting their other restaurant in North Park. It was a busy day during lunch, and I could hardly find a table. I ordered Quesadillas from their Sides and Portobello tacos from their Vegetarian menu. The restaurant was busy, so my order took a little longer than 10 minutes. I can't blame a busy day. I found a single seat once I picked up my order. The corn tortilla Quesadillas had grilled asadero cheese. I have never tasted asadero cheese, so it felt different in a good way. The flavor of the cheese was dense and tasted good with the dip. The Portobello tacos had grilled baby Portobello mushroom, corn, black beans, pasilla chilies, arugula, red onion, tomato, and cotija cheese. The Portobello tacos were delicious. It was worth the wait and made my day! It was as good as the City Zucchini tacos. The service from their staff was courteous and helpful. They answered all my queries. City Tacos' menu has vegetarian and vegan options, making their restaurants vegetarian-friendly. If you are looking for tacos in San Diego, head to one of the City Tacos restaurants. You'll love it. City Tacos will be one of my all-time favorite taco restaurants!

I like this place overall but it seems to have gone downhill recently. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, the food and drinks are tasty, and everything is clean. However, in the last few months or so, it seems like they do not have enough waiters or bartenders for the restaurant. The last three times I visited, it took about 10 minutes for a waiter to visit the table after we were seated and the drinks took forever whether we ordered a glass of wine or a cocktail. The food always comes out quickly. I have received food before cocktails numerous times. Some meals are decent portions but others are really tiny. I enjoy the food but it’s getting harder to go back with the amount of waiting that happens and the smaller portions of food.

This was our first time eating here. Food was interesting and unique. Our server did a great job helping us understand the menu and the ingredients. You could also tell that he truly believed in what True Food is trying to do with this particular concept . Overall good experience!

I came out to San Diego and found this excellent taco place. The food is amazing, not only do they have healthy choices but also healthy drinks, the atmosphere is chill, plus you can’t beat the music.

A favorite restaurant at the UTC Mall for lunch. We just love their lunch special of half flatbread and small salad.
The house salad is really delicious and I always order it. The greens are fresh and the dressing is nice and light. We also love the mini desserts. They are perfect for a little indulgence.

Service is always nice and the restaurant is usually not too busy at lunch time. They will also validate your parking ticket.

Thanh Tinh Chay was an experiment to test out high rated restaurants:
I was craving Pho and already have my designated takeout nearby, however we found this review that simply demanded out attention and a overall 4.9 out of 800+ reviews… really?
So yes, naturally had to see for myself and I can’t agree more. This place is amazing, service, food, menus, water, yes… even the water is incredible (lemon, lychee, apple, etc. takes 4hrs to make), the menu is quite vast and smartly includes a picture for every item. We had the Tofu Pho, the simple Kung Pao chicken, the filet mignon paper rolls and chicken fried noodles. Everything was just so good, I’d be a disservice to praise any one dish at all, but the service and attention was in fact the best I’ve experienced in San Diego. You have to try this place, seriously recomendable.

Oh, and the desserts were phenomenal. Cheesecake and chocolate custard were to die for.

Really love the aesthetic and absolutely amazing food as well. Wish the portion sizes were a bit bigger on some of the items .
This was pretty full when we got there but we still managed to find parking so that was a plus.
A little bit of a downside is that the server we had was actually quite overly sarcastic.. Maybe they thought the jokes work well with everyone but some were pushing it a little too far.

CHICKEN CREPE CAKE
Chicken + Caramelized Onion Spread, Mushroom Bourbon Sauce, Pickled Onion, Arugula, Carrot, Greens
Husband and I split this and we actually really liked it! It did not seem too unhealthy or too high fat either to be honest. The individual crepes to make the layers were super thin and everything was so delicately made . I'm not sure how much of actual chicken there was in there though because with the other fillings and stuff I'm assuming the actor amount of chicken used was quite little.

FETA OMELET
Egg, Spinach, Pesto, Mozzarella, Feta. Sourdough
I asked for egg whites and also got the pesto on the side so I could just add how much I wanted. They accidentally brought a version with regular eggs first but were quick to replace it since All the other food on the table had already come. Also got the sourdough toast on the side without the butter. This was some good bread.

STRAWBERRY SALAD
Spinach, Fresh Strawberries, Pistachios, Goat Cheese, Raspberry Vinaigrette
What a beautiful salad. The strawberry and pistachio combination was really nice. Had asked for the dressing on the side here as well so we could just add how much was needed. Dressing was quite Nice as well.

TURKEY BENEDICT
Poached Egg, Spinach + Feta Bread Pudding, Turkey, Cranberry, Pickled Onion, Arugula, Carrot, Greens, Hollandaise
Friend on the table ordered this but without the Turkey since they were trying to avoid meat. They seem to actually like it even without the Turkey.

TOMATO + EGG
This was basically like a shakshuka. Very creative concept though. Serving a mini version in personal size skillet.

TIRAMISU PANCAKES
Ordered this for the table to share. It Was pretty nice. The Pancakes themselves had the coffee flavor and the mascarpone whip was on the side to add. I only had a little because I was trying to be a bit Health conscious but others managed to finish the entire thing.

The food was delicious but my noodle dish was about one third of a portion I would get anywhere else. And it was nearly $22.00! I left hungry. I felt I did not get my money's worth. Disappointed.

Returning for the second time since my initial visit in 2019, I was delighted to find that nothing has changed at this establishment – the food quality remains consistently superb! Opting for the SHORT RIB CRUMPET while my partner indulged in the CHICKEN CREPE CAKE and STRAWBERRY CREPE, we were both blown away by the culinary experience. Each dish was a masterpiece of creativity, making it the best breakfast place I've ever tried. The server was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and polite, enhancing the overall dining experience. Without a doubt, we will be coming back to savor the exceptional offerings at this remarkable establishment.

I recently tried the soup from Thanh Tinh Chat in San Diego after hearing it was number one in the area. I placed an order over the phone, and within 20 minutes, my soup was ready. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the girl who assisted me shared that everything in the soup is organic, with homemade gluten-free noodles. Her enthusiasm heightened my anticipation.
When I arrived, I received a warm welcome and a small vegan cheesecake, a thoughtful gesture for my first visit. Taking the soup to go, I enjoyed it at home. While the soup itself was good, what stood out was the fantastic spirit and service at Thanh Tinh Chat. The emphasis on organic ingredients and gluten-free options added to the overall positive experience. If you appreciate a friendly atmosphere.

We got almost every taco and the ones we enjoyed the most were the steak with potato, thr steak was nicely seasoned , the shrimp taco (quite spicy but great when u put the mango salsa on it) I loved it. sweet and spicy! Also really enjoyed the mahi mahi with pickled onions and strawberry, my husband’s favorite. Street corn was pretty good. Prices were great. I was surprised when they told me $35.
Got the good to go but the atmosphere seemed cool when I picked it up.

My God, this was the best Mexican tacos, and Elote. I’ve had since living in Mexico City for three years. Just fantastic I’ll be going back every week until I pass away! Thank you city taco

My husband and I were there last night and had an incredible dinner. Everything was super delicious. The service was also amazing! I would like to shout out Kimil our server for making us feel special and at home. She gave us the 5+ star experience and made our NYE one to never forget.

Food was delicious and fresh. The employee immediately sat us down at a very clean table. Spotless. It was only like a minute after we arrived that the appetizers came, and maybe 30 seconds after our food came. And somehow they had a gorgeous presentation, and still tasted like heaven. Chicken tacos were great. They had onion, tomato, guacamole, and perfectly grilled Chicken to balance it out. Sd Carne asada was very good. The meat surprisingly wasn’t too different to a normal carne asada. Terrisa pineapple was quite unique. I never thought that a fruity food like pineapple would pair so well with a savory meat. Pescaso taco was the perfect consistency, and just melted in our mouths. The shrimp crunch taco was our personal favorite. It was loaded with meat and had a variety of greens, it even had an edible flower! The service was amazing, and the food was perfect as well. Make sure to stop by if you want some amazing tacos.

The quality of the food is uneven. Sometimes great, sometimes it leaves a lot to be desired. On this last to go order (for example) I doubt if the pizza was even in the oven 2 minutes as the dough was still raw in the center. We literally had to recook our food from the restaurant to eat it. When done right, their food is very good.

The employees there are always super friendly, and when eating in, the service is good and attentive and the atmosphere enjoyable. The restaurant is always very clean (including the rest rooms) and there’s plenty of seating.

Note that this restaurant is part of UTC (northwest side of the mall), so you park in a paid parking garage, and have to walk to the location.

I got #173 store fry glass bidders with “beef” on recommendation from the wait staff. I had NO IDEA what to get as a gluten free vegan because I had 200 choices… like what??? The food was delicious, I didn’t feel heavy or sluggish after. It came out incredibly quickly and was absolutely delicious. Best crème brûlée I’ve ever had. Not pictured is the fried soft tofu bahn mi I brought home for my partner who loved it also. Only downside was the parking lot was full and I had to park a block away with very sore post leg day legs, but it was totally worth it. Best water ever!

The meatballs are tender with a well seasoned sauce. The crab cake is all crab with very little filler and nice dipping sauce. The table bread was soft.

The truffle risotto is amazing; get the side portion if your entree doesn't include it.

The grits under the "shrimp and grits" are passable: the shrimp, chorizo and sauce elevate the dish and make it good.

The seating is comfortable and the tables are spacious so you don't feel cramped. The decor feels upscale but there's no dress code.

The staff are knowledgeable and attentive. We didn't have to ask for refills and they were quick when we asked for a box and the bill.

This was our first time here. We were nicely greeted at the front desk by a girl and a guy, then we were quickly sat at a booth. They were not very busy. We ordered an Expresso Martini to get started. We had the Salmon Salad and the Filet Mignon with Lobster. Both were just ok. Unfortunately, not great. Deena was our waitress. She seemed nice but not much of a spark or enthusiasm. As much as I tried being nice and friendly, we didn't get much of a genuine response. All in all the food and drinks were just ok. Our overall experience was just "meh." Not much of a wow factor. We may give this place another try in the future.

Food looks bit pricey given the look and feel (ambience), but it is totally worth it. Completely vegan and has Lots and lots of things for everyone on the menu. We had Banh Mi sandwich (house special one). Also, They serve water which is infused with apple and litchee. They even every one of us a complementary Flan during thanksgiving, which was sweet of them. The owner was so informative and talked to us specially, which was very hospitable of her. Definitely worth visiting again. Would highly recommend to others in the area too

Colorful and aesthetically pleasing tacos. We tried the portobello and the fish, both very good. 4.5 out of 5 but could have used just a bit more flavor. A little zing. If we missed the salsas/hot sauces, then that was our fault. Would definitely go back and try again!

Incredible tacos. The ingredients are all fresh, and I highly recommend the salsa verde and the mango salsa with your tacos. My fave taco is the Camaron Enchilado (grilled shrimp with aioli).

Pokez is amazing, including the food, menu selections, and atmosphere, which was cozy, quirky, and the perfect setting to consume a burrito, patter, or relleno with friends and family. I have lived in SD for almost five years and this was the best burrito by leaps and bounds. I ordered a Texas burrito with chicken. It was so good I saved the half I could not eat, when normally I don't, and ate it for lunch the next day. I'll be back soon. I give Pokez my highest recommendation for Mexican food.

I absolutely ADORE this place. My now husband and I had our first date here (we had both been previously and agreed on it because we loved the spot). We decided to have our wedding reception with them and we could not have been happier with everything they did for us to make it as special as they possibly could. The decor was absolutely stunning, the food was amazing and the service was ABOVE and BEYOND. We received so many compliments on our food selections, big shout out to Layla. Emran did an amazing job assisting and coordinating and again I cannot emphasize this enough - the service was absolutely amazing. I could go on and on about our love for this place all day. Every time I come to SD the first thing I say is "Let's go to City Tacos!" This time we went to the downtown location. Walking in, the music was playing loudly, not many people were there, and there was a strong smell of floor cleaner. We ordered and sat down first outside, but didn't like how loud the street was or how dirty the table was. Went inside, order arrived. 4 tacos, beer and mineral water - $13.

I didn't realize that the tortilla was going to be flour, and the cashier 💙kindly💙 exchanged it for a fresh corn tortilla. Amazing. We had fish tacos, asked for grilled rather than fried. What I liked about it was that there wasn't much oil, and if we had asked for salt it would have been even more tasty.

My main and serious problem with the meal was that there was one tiny little cube of fresh onion, which I am allergic to, and had explained when ordering. I unknowingly took one bite, spit it out and grabbed my EpiPen. Fortunately, my throat didn't close all the way and I was left with a swollen throat/ear, but I could still breathe. Not cool.

Always saw this place when walking around, but only thought to go in recently. Great food that was surprisingly low calorie and full of flavor. Service was top notch, especially our waitress, Natalie. Attentive and fun to talk to. It's got a bit of a sleepy ambiance, so it was perfect for a date. Curious to spot a unicorn? Go to pokez where you can enjoy an authentic burrito shop at knows how to do it vegan. Nothing personal against chipotle, but there is nothing sterile about the food here. As a burrito lover (snob?) I’ve ordered multiple of their vegan selections. They have several to choose from including vegan breakfast, burritos, potato and chorizo, and more. Last time I had the California burrito which didn’t suit me. They use the beyond burger in the burrito which to me tasted like having a hamburger in a burrito. So this time I ordered the veggie. It was really good; it came with rice, beans, guac, lettuce, and even vegan cheese! The burrito is giant and delicious, very umami. The one thing it was lacking was consistency. The entire burrito was quite soft and I wish they had a plant-based meat (besides Beyond Meat) to add some substance.

Pokez serves the burrito with a cabbage salad, which was nothing too exciting. However, I really enjoyed the puréed tomato style salsa with some heat, which I poured over every bite.

For dining in, they do rely on single use cutlery and plates. I wish everything wasn’t so disposable.

The prices here are reasonable—you can get a vegan burrito from $9-13.

There are not many places that I would give an authentic burrito rating of 10/10 as a vegan, but Pokez knows how to serve up that giant tortilla-wrapped deliciousness.

Fantastic tacos, one of the best taco chains in San Diego. Prime location with dessert spots nearby and close to the beach. Reasonably priced. Great service. Definitely a must when visiting PB.

The service was great. The gentleman helping us suggested I try the pesto sandwich and wow! The freshness and the flavor were out of this world. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also had some fresh fruit on the side. I ordered the Mimosa flight and I have to say it's a must. The flavors are unique and tasty.

Whenever I'm in San Diego again, I will make sure I go back for that sandwich and Mimosa flight. 10/10 😙🤌🏻

Hidden gem! Great food, huge Mahi tacos, great hot salsa, service was terrific, busy but no waiting. Picture doesn't do it justice , gf is still raving about the churios!

It is a great option to eat healthier. The food is tasty and fresh. The service was also good. I think everything was excellent.

This was our first time at this restaurant, thanks to our friends. We received gift card for our wedding from friends and decided to give this place a try. We have been to many places before, and we are reserved people so didn’t known what to expect. Let me tell you that the service we received was way above expectations! Our server was Keegan, very nice guy, but he also caught us by surprise. We got into a conversation with him and told him we were newly weds. He was so very polite and took his time to explain everything about he menu. He also complimented us with desert for our wedding and was such a joy to have him serve us! We will definitely be back and I would recommend this place 100% if you want to experience upscale restaurant with great food and service with fair prices!

We came here for a Wednesday lunch. I would rate the place as 4.5 stars overall. Our server Maria was very friendly and attentive. The lunch menu offerings on the weekday are great value for money (reasonable portion size, authentic and interesting flavors and an attractive presentation). I would definitely come back here again.

I love Cafe 21. I had previously been to the downtown location but now I live in walking distance of this location. The grilled cheese bloody mary is my favorite, it's a whole meal. I also always get the galaxy which is butterfly pea flower tea, violet syrup and lemon. So good. I like the small plates to share as well, the tomato and egg is delicious. The outside patio is really nice as well.

We were starving after a very productive shopping trip, needed something with a patio that was dog friendly and we spotted Lemonade. It was both our first time trying the spot even with their various locations around Orange County. We shared a poke bowl and a grilled ahi tuna plate. Overall decent pieces of fish, sides were underwhelming and i’d say for price to portion- this is more of the higher priced side. Drinks were delicious, we had a mango lemonade and a ginger lemonade. Both were deliciously refreshing! Won’t be seeking out a lemonade to eat at anytime soon.

The won ton soup is delicious, and the take out container separates the won tons so they don’t get soggy before you get home! Both the broth and won tons are so tasty, I will crave this soup forever.
The woman behind the counter explained that they make all their vegan meat substitutes themselves which I’m impressed by too. I want to try most of the menu!

My boyfriend and I were recently in San Diego and found this place. I’m so glad I did. (It’s funny bc a week ago we had a conversation about how much I wanted that “wow I would drive 20+ hours for this” vegan food.) This is a restaurant I would drive 20+ hours for :) the waitress and other workers had the kindest service I’ve ever had. I hope everyone, even if they’re not vegan has an opportunity to try this food bc it really was that great.

Gourmet tacos that still have an authentic flavor. I LOVE this place. Every taco I’ve tasted is bomb. Easy to be gluten free too. It’s fast and not too expensive!

Simple, yet delicious Shrimp Tacos. I’m always looking to try new restaurants when I’m on vacation, some misleading reviews almost got me not try City Tacos. Sure, the service wasn’t great but it wasn’t terrible, the wait was a little, but worth it. The shrimp tacos were extremely delicious and best tacos we had in San Diego.

Extremely solid Thai food, and everything on the menu is now vegan, gluten free, and delicious. As a fair warning, the portion sizes are on the smaller side. This does not take away from the great flavor this food offers.

The staff there are attentive, quick, and could very well be the nicest people on the planet.

They keep the curtains shut when we were there for lunch in June, maybe to keep it cooler? I think it would be nice to open them to both let more light in and clearly show that the restaurant is open. My date and I, as well as another set of customers, thought the place was closed when walking up to the door.

Regardless, I’m going back at the very least to get a taste of that apple-lemon-magic water they serve and try the bahn mi. We cannot wait to visit again in a week and take a friend with us!

I used to eat here whenever my band would tour through San Diego back in the day. I was happy to see it thriving when I came back many years later. Service is quick, the loaded tofu burritos served sopping in ranchero sauce is the way to go. Viva la Pokez!

The food looked appetizing but the taste was not up to par. We ordered a potato burrito recommended by the cashier and it was not good. The overall service/friendliness of the staff was good. The atmosphere was unique, however there were flies and bugs flying around. Two Nats flew onto our food while we were eating. It could be that we ordered the wrong dish but would not recommend the potato burrito.

Amazing food!! Tons of vegetarian and vegan options!!! The Veggie Taco was the biggest highlight and the veggie enchiladas were yummy too!!!

Pokez is a mouth-watering, delectable eatery that’s taken it’s place as an institution among other San Diego culinary greats.

Half sit-down, half taco shop, the restaurant features a fun and accessible menu of tasty standard, vegetarian, and vegan options. A few of my favorites include the tofu burrito, potato taco, chicken enchiladas, and machaca. They also serve beer, seltzer, and soda.

One of my favorite parts of Pokez is that it looks almost like a music venue and had a down-to-earth DIY vibe. Enjoy the atmosphere and your yummy Mexican food!

I stopped by here and finally tried it out. And yes before you ask, of course I got a lemonade. It was fantastic and super tart like I like it. I also came here on a Tuesday for their mango chicken bowl promo. Always look for the deals prior to visiting folks, but they usually have solid options to choose from. This place is also very healthy and organic it seems. I’m positive I won’t leave this place and feel sick to my stomach (fingers crossed). Also the staff were more than friendly and I honestly can’t wait to come back and try more food.

Ordered a mango chicken plate with red rice base, curried cauliflower and kale carrot salad as sides. Chicken was nice and tender with generous amount of sauce that seeped through to the rice. I would maybe ask to have a bit more rice on the bottom to account for that. Cauliflower was well seasoned but a few pieces were a bit hard to bite into given their size was just a bit too big. The kale salad was good and easy to eat, well balanced. Service was fast, courteous, and plenty of space to dine inside or outside the store.
