So bad customer service, my physician sent 3 times referrals, but they didn’t call me back to schedule appointment. But when I called 6 th time, they told that this doctor doesn’t do second opinion. So I spent 1 months to try schedule, but they even did call me to explain this information. Very very bad, I wish I do 0!

I really liked Dr Bolen, he was personable and did not speak down to me. He scheduled me for a nerve conduction study in a month but I wish he had put me on Lyrica, or Neurotin/Gaba during the wait time to see if it helped at all. This is just wasted time.

Was seen on time, quick registration. Doctor was courteous and professional. Explained my condition answered all my questions. A great first visit.

I did testing at this facility three weeks ago and have been requesting for my documents to be sent to my doctor for the last two and a half weeks. I am waiting on medication and have told them this many times. I have been told that the report has been read multiple times, when it hasn't. I have been told that it would be sent to my doctor practically every day for the last two and a half weeks. They have told me that their computer systems have gone down three times now. I am sick of the lies!!!! My report still has not been read, never go here!

Dr.Bolen listened and was very thoughtful! He spent quite a bit of time with me discussing my health issues and offered several suggestions. I was very pleased!

I've been seeing Dr. Bolen since 2021, and during my first visit he explained all the options available for treating my chronic migraine. He listens to my concerns and is open-minded about the treatment plans.The nurses are caring as well. I've been doing botox for migraine for nearly a year now, and those appointments are punctual and quick, and the office staff schedules my next appointment as soon as I check in, making that whole process efficient. I've been very pleased with my experience at Tidewater Neurology.

Reception was warm & welcoming. Medical Assistant, Crystal friendly, put us at ease yet professional. Dr K was very approachable, straightforward, knowledgeable about our concerns & made reasonable suggestions regarding my husband’s condition. Candid, honest opinion & gave us hope. His award winning smile, direct eye contact & firm handshake spoke volumes.

Dr Hughes and staff are amazing. He made me feel very comfortable on first visit. He does not push you along like other providers. He makes sure that your questions are answered.

I NEVER leave bad reviews, but because of a condition (that could leave me permanently blind if not taken care of) I feel the need to leave a bad review. I was put in for an ASAP visit and there has been nothing ASAP about my whole experience at this office except for when I told them I wanted my medical records to transfer to a different office, they called me back within 10 minutes to tell me they were ready… However if it wasn’t for their ridiculous office policy of “not allowing patients to transfer to other providers within the practice, when they’re established with one of their doctors in the practice already” (like I should be able to see whoever I want, I’m paying for the visits and pay thousands of dollars in insurance to keep up with my health), I would be able to stay and see why I’m on the verge of being blind. Instead I have to get established with a totally different practice that will take several months to get into, hopefully I’m not blind by then. Also speaking of insurance and paying for visits, the last time I was there everything was normal until they turned the screen around to me and I find out I came all the way to the office to have a video chat with my doctor, no one EVER mentioned it, $400 for that?? 🤔 The receptionist says I’m sorry you felt that way about your visit… anyways stay away from here. I’m also leaving because after several recommended scans and testing (for a common misdiagnosis that I tested negative for several times…) there’s still no word on what’s really causing my condition, he seems only interested in diagnosing me with that one thing, which has wasted more time and money.

Dr. Hughes has been amazing in treating me and my family over the years. He has amazing bedside manners. He actually listens to you and your issues then he formulates a plan that works for you both treatment wise and financially. My family recommends him 100%. Truly a caring physician.

Dr. Hughes was great and I appreciate his professionalism and efforts. The reason this practice gets 1 star is the absurdly poor customer service by the office staff. It is nearly impossible to talk to someone and if you ever need a copy of your medical records or billing statement, forget about it. I am going on 3 months with multiple calls, emails, online forms, talking to the third party billing company, and for whatever reason they can't get their act together. Today they suggested I drive to the Goose Creek office "to see if they can do it there." They weren't sure it could be done, but I should spend an hour driving to find out... Seriously? Beware of Tidewater bureaucracy!

Dr. Bumgartner is an excellent Doctor. He took all the time I needed to discuss my neuropathy and explain the why and how and future for me. He did not rush me at all. He listened and gave me an educated response based on his wealth of experience. Wish other doctors were as good as him. I also had a great experience with all his staff who were friendly and helpful. This office is genuine! Sincerely great job. Thank you!!!

Office staff don’t order needed medications, don’t call insurances to work out PA’s. They submit stuff online and when informed insurance didn’t receive their electronic stuff. Nothing is done. Multiple Voicemails left for davida and in office phones for months and they won’t call back. This office takes your copay to formulate a plan, but then doesn’t bring you back to follow up. Concerns were reported to medical
Board for them to follow up on. Go elsewhere for neuro, you can only blame “short Staff” so far before it’s pure ignorance and patient abandonment.

Don’t waste your time or money. I was diagnosed with MS, a very scary life long incurable disease. Not a singe word of education was given on what MS is. He couldn’t answer a single question I had nor wanted to give the questions the time of day. Just slap some pills on it and you’ll be fine. Not the kind of doctor I want or trust. Also, not a word was mentioned about diet/exercise which is key for people with MS. It’s time for Dr. Bumgartner to retire.

I've been coming to Neurology Specialists for a number of years for chronic headaches, and have had nothing but great care. I've seen Dr Stickler a few times and he is very kind. As a female I prefer to see female physician assistants or doctors, so I always request to see one of their physician assistants (PA), her name is Sierra and I feel very comfortable with her. 🩷
Dr Stickler and Sierra (PA) have done everything possible to get to the bottom of my headaches that I've had for almost 20 years with no relief from other neurologists.
I think I am finally getting somewhere with my headaches. And the staff has always been curtious to me. After seeing all the negative reviews I am in shock because I've had nothing but great experienced with them. Thank you so much!

I've been coming here for a short time but I've never had any issues with any of the staff ever. Dr. Bahadori has been great, attentive, and funny! A sense of humor really helps with my anxiety. Sometimes it's slightly difficult to get a hold of someone by phone, but everyone is short staffed and busy. It's not anyone in the offices fault that medicine in this country is run like a business. A little patience and compassion goes a long way.

On the last several visits after moving to their new office, I have had nothing but terrible experiences. The most recent visit when I went to check in, the front desk person told me to wait and slammed the glass window shut. I sat there for a good minute waiting for him to reopen it and check me in, but he didn’t so I sat down in the lobby. When he finally decided to check me in, I said my name across the lobby. He gave me a rude look and said I would need to come up to be checked in. When I walked up I commented that I had been up there to check in but he shut the window in my face. He just turns away to look at the computer and mouth “wow” when I was standing 3 feet in front of him. The entire check-in process was handled by someone who needs training on how to be courteous and assist patients. This is the second time I have come to the new location and has similar treatment. I’m not sure that I want to continue at a practice who has such little regard for their patients.

The front desk personnel needs some training on people skills, they are the first person a patient interacts with and the professionalism wasn’t there at my visit. The doctor and nurse were great, had a decent experience with both. Not sure if the front desk relays any messages to the doctor, after several attempt of trying over two weeks I left a message on the nurses line and got a response 4 days later which was to late. Very disappointing!

I was referred to this office by another doctor regarding my chronic pain. I can hardly touch my own skin without experiencing sunburn like pain. I was hoping this office would be able to help, and now I feel as though I’m being ignored. Why? I’m not sure. It’s been two and a half weeks since I’ve had a test done, after which they said they’d call in a prescription for me. They have yet to do so and are IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. I’ve tried calling Bahadori’s medical assistant multiple times, and leaving messages for her AND with other receptionists. I’d assume my problems would be taken with an ounce of urgency, considering I’ve been dealing with chronic pain for years, and they’re only getting worse. I had a feeling this would happen, and I’m saddened and disappointed I was right. All I want is the pain to go away and I’m being IGNORED. Bahadori seemed to be a fine enough doctor on his own, but I’m heartbroken with the assistant and other medical staff.

I like Dr. Bahadori..but today was not the first time I was told I owe double copay because I didn't pay last visit. I was told last visit that I didn't owe. Sir you are good to go she said. I even tried to argue an said I normally pay every visit. She insisted you are good. Ok. Now I show up to my appointment this morning and explained I didn't have copay for today but when my disability hits I will gladly pay. Only to be hit with. Well you Owe For last time as well so if you don't have at least one copay today you can't be seen. Guess a New Doctor is in order being I was made to feel like a burden this morning. Note, I drive over an hour one way to see this doctor and to be treated unfairly is just ridiculous. Wish all of you well!

Your reception lady that answers the phone is the ABSOLUTE WORST person I have EVER MET IN MY LIFE!!!!! I called to ask if your place takes referral. I said I am not a patient. What I wanted to say was "I am a patient with MUSC and I am getting surgery in June for Cubital Tunnel. MUSC was too full to provide an EMG study, so I resorted to looking else where to get the study done and requested my physician to send out referrals to other place." I got 7 words in, "I am not a new patient, but..." and IMMEDIATELY SHE HANGS UP ON ME. I call her back and I just launched the question for a referral. This lady was quick and snappy. Like I get people having a bad day, but I have seen other reviews of your reception service being terrible and the customer service being horrible. I would have asked for her name, but I am pretty sure she would hang up on me AGAIN! She said your place does take outside referral and my health insurance (of course in the rudest way possible to answer my questions), but I'd rather have a dog give me a nerve conduction study, than have your rude people come anywhere near my person. HAVE A GREAT/TERRIBLE DAY!! 0/5 stars (I wish I could!)

All I am going to say is as a healthcare professional myself it hurts my heart because I have NEVER experienced anything like this in my life. I know you will never be able to please everyone. Yes I understand you’re short staffed but I have called left messages and one call receptionist told me she was sending a a task message because the nurse’s mailbox was full I have yet to get response. I sat in your office yesterday almost two hours waiting to talk with Davita and that still have not happened. I am probably one of the most understandable and easiest person to get along and all I’m trying to do is get to a place where I can function daily again but if I can’t ever get a call back or assistance what do you do?? I can honestly say Dr Bahadori has been great. Have more passion for your patients keep in mind you have a family as well and what you do to others will definitely return to you.

If I could give zero stars I would. My fiance just left a review stating why. I suffer from lesions in the brain from a car accident that is now giving me issues and affecting my everyday life. I had an appointment, but ended up cancelling due to the fact I had to be hospitalized for kidney stones in the middle of the night! Excruciatingly painful, and had no choice. I couldn't even walk. So my fiance rescheduled for me. Found out later that my surgery to remove my kidney stones were scheduled on the same day as my neurologist appointment. I had to get the surgery done so that I can recover before my wedding coming up soon. So I ended up not being able to go to my second rescheduled date. When my fiance went to reschedule again to finally get this done, they told him that I cannot be accepted as a patient if I had to reschedule over 2 times. But both times weren't my fault. I have the hospital documents to prove it but their office manager didn't care! How rude! Who denies a patient help??? What kind of place is this? Seriously, run as fast as you can. You don't want to give business to people who refuse to care for people in need. They should be ashamed of themselves.
