Recently hosted a work event here, and the staff were amazing with catering to all of our requests and changes etc, they made the planning process so easy and were very accommodating. Great flexibility with food and drink options too, and very reasonable pricing for everything. The staff on the night ensured everything ran smoothly and were so helpful. Would definitely choose the venue for an event again!
Came in for lunch today with some work colleagues and I have to say, I don’t think I have received service this good in a while. Staff are super attentive to their patrons and their pizza is delicious!

I just had my 21st birthday function at The Gallery and could not recommend a better venue!
The event staff were super helpful, with quick replies and ensured every small detail was considered and perfect. The night itself ran very smoothly, with the staff being extremely polite and the manager keeping us informed about the tab and food whilst doing anything he could to help. Overall lovely staff, beautiful venue and great food and drinks!!

My son and his bride chose The Gallery for their wedding reception and it was an inspired choice! As we raced to get things set up, James introduced himself and I knew things were going to be just fine! We had fab service, great food and an all-round awesome night. James ran the whole thing with a competent yet light touch and his team ensured everyone had a great night. Highly recommend!
We had the perfect wedding reception in the Waymouth Room. Such a beautiful space that doesn't need much extra decorating. The staff were so wonderful from the planning stage months out, to on the night. Communication, service and food quality are all top notch. Absolutely recommend for any kind of function!

We had our large staff Christmas Lunch (170+ people) at the Adelaide Pavilion and it was fantastic. The Food was sublime, the staff were fantastic and very accommodating, the venue was in a great setting and we will return for 2024. Can't recommend it enough.
I had my engagement party here. Such a beautiful venue, the staff were great, the food was delicious and generous amounts of food.
We had our Sons and future daughter in laws Engagement 10th November 23. This was the most amazing experience. From the event team to the bar staff. We were treated so well the entire time. The service the venue the attention to detail. The Food was spectacular. Very generous amounts. They looked after everything and we rate this a 5 STAR and highly recommended anyone looking for the next level experience.

Parking is a nightmare if there are two functions on at once. Food was yuk. But then I'm not a fan of thick bread sandwiches
Ideal place for a wedding , Attentive staff , excellent food , DJ , bar , easy access off south tce and parking .
It's a good place if you just sing and don't drink. Too small for group activity - They tried fitting 7 people into a small room, which is the same room for 2 people when I go with my friend.
This is a must. Great for groups, catching up with friends, girls night out. It is a fun vibe, they have delicious cocktails, great food, and big portions. The set menu is such good value. Way too much food for us 4 to finish.
I highly recommend the espresso Martini and the pink one I had, but I've forgotten the name of it :-p

Had a great time here with a group of friends. Great service by Shauna. Place looked in great condition. System was a bit hard to use at first but figured it out very quickly.
Shauna was an extremely helpful and polite hostess. We had a big group and her service was amazing! The venue was clean, fun and well stocked. We will be back!!!!!
A relaxed and chilled vibe in a funky room. Service was outstanding, with my glass never empty and nothing seemed an effort. Food was delicious, great mix of flavours and vegetarian options were spot on with a good variety. From entrees to mains the food was first rate. Will definitely go back soon.

Can't speak for the food the service was friendly but largely not all that helpfull as the system was hard to use and mostly in Chinese. There was supposed to be an App to remotely select songs. However, the "link" was down and the service was l helpful in short bursts, however it was felt you tube would have been just as good and easier to use.

Only had one toilet that was usable and no toilet paper. There was a box of tissues but they were wet 🤮

Excellent Chinese restaurant in central Adelaide. Lovely atmosphere with high vaulted ceilings setting the mood for a wonderful dinner. Loved the salt & pepper eggplant, very good beef cheek curry & the chicken karage is a must for starters. Very attentive staff. So many Asian themed restaurants to choose from but this is a stand out.
I went with some friends and got $15 for 3 hours and had a blast, though they didn't have many of the Japanese songs I wanted to sing, but they had a variety of English songs. The seats were really comfy and everything was pretty clean. The staff were nice, when we had a microphone problem, they helped us out and changed us to a new room.

We were very excited to dine at MrsQ as apparently it’s rated 4.5 stars. Unfortunately the food was awful my Balinese prawns had very little flavour that was drowned with oil. My daughter in law could not even eat her pork belly very very rich. Spring rolls were so oily and it tasted like very old oil. $313 later was a major disappointment. Will never go back again and do nit recommend it at all.

The Feed Me menus were impressive -- huge serving sizes, tons of dishes brought out and everything delicious. We tried both the Mrs Q & the Vegetarian as well as a few a la carte items (the former works out to be much better value).

Great experience had by all, buck got a complimentary cocktail and staff were fun and awesome.
To contradict what some reviews say, there is a very broad variety of english songs, provided you figure out how to use the search function. There was enough selection to fill 3+ hours of singing!

Had dinner of two with 4 courses including duck’s salad and duck pancake plus green chicken curry and pineapple fried rice and 1 cocktails but the overall experience was not pleasant. The duck are partly under cook and cold but overall not the worst. The fried rice are bland and cold by the time it got to the table and chicken curry comes with the quality from the food court but the price tag of a Michelin. The pina colada is also pretty disappointing since it taste more like coconut yogurt than a cocktail speaking from a bartender perspective. The venue is beautiful though but not sure if i will be back anytime soon.
A beautiful night out in an absolute quality restaurant - every element of it was the next best thing to perfect.

The place looks cool, the decor is Lux and the room we had, Pop Princess, was big and comfy with good lighting.
However, after we were shown to the room we were left on our own. We rang the service bell but no one came. We had to muddle through working out the system, which was less than straight forward.
The guys at the bar were friendly and generous. Just lacking a little in mixology skills.
Don't go here and expect any choice in wine.
All in all we all had a great time and will be back.

Best service and food and an amazing function centre
Adelaide Pavilion always go out of their way to ensure that our events are exactly what we hoped for. The staff are really well trained, the food is always delicious and the owners are very friendly.
Recently celebrated my mum’s 60th birthday at the Adelaide Pavilion and I highly recommend the venue, location, decor and service! Samantha, in particular, was extremely professional, efficient, friendly and great to liaise with. She was very thorough with all the details and was so organised, ensuring the event ran smoothly. I commend her for her efforts and would recommend the Adelaide Pavilion to anyone.
On the night of the event, Bree and her team were fabulous, ensuring all ran smoothly, on time and all the guests were very well attended.

We used the meeting rooms for workshops over three days. The staff were positive, helpful and responsive to all our requests. The catering was great and was served in a Covid-safe way. Highly recommended.
Lack of parking particularly disabled. Guests were packed into foyer without social distancing while awaiting main event space to be readied. Only disabled toilet is not easily accessible as you have to go behind the bar, through the kitchen then down a hall. I don't think a wheelchair would make it through. Once there, beware cockroaches! Event stared at 7:30, food was to be served approx 8:30 some were only served at 10 when the event finished. The food ,schnitzel, chips and even the salad, was so salty I couldn't eat it. Poor choice of drinks at bar. Would NEVER recommend

The event we attended was great, but our food was cold.
We booked this place to run some group discussions and it worked really well. Kevin is a fantastic host and runs a very professional operation. We ran the sessions in the evening and Kevin ensured that all the respondents had easy access to the building after hours. I can definitely recommend this venue, thanks again Kevin

Check in was smooth and the staff was friendly but the room was quite awful. There was stains all over the floor carpet and what I think was mold in the shower.. I think it’ll be better after renovations.

Aircon wasn't working well for the 2 days of our workshop. Nice clean venue. Food was great!! Lots of vegan vegetarian options
The steak is too tough to be cut into pieces. No flavor inside. However, the shrimp dessert are amazing
We attended a function here and decided to stay the night on fairly short notice. The function room was lovely and the staff very attentive, however the accommodation was rather below standard. The room was cramped and there was no view, just a filthy concrete courtyard and a wall. The bathroom needs urgent attention to get it to an acceptable level. Despite having paid in full at check-in we were also required to pay a security deposit ( although there was no minibar) which wasn't refunded until almost three weeks later. Disappointing.
Loved this place, for starters the staff are awesome friendly and very informative. There are many different areas to the hotel, bars a restaurant, balcony, function facilities, gaming room and outdoor area. The rooms were comfortable and clean without useless bells and whistles and the showers have great water pressure. Located in the heart of the CBD, close to everything. Definitely recommend staying here if you aren't pretentious. They also have the best elevator in town.

Very average food and service. I stated my vegan preference early in the event, and did not change positions at all. Received no apology when I was served cheese and meat in my dish. Apparently it was my fault!!! I accept that mistakes happen but this the reaction from staff at the error was appalling.
Awesome function venue! Had a hens night here a few weeks ago and absolutely loved the lounge vibe (and the privacy). Staff on the night were great, highly recommended!
Fantastic location when staying in Adelaide. Although we were in a refurbished room, the overall ambiance of this hotel is about average and perhaps a little below par, but we did quite like its character. A point of particular interest is the old style passenger lift. Some may describe it as old and outdated, but we were impressed and pleasantly amused by its old style character and personality. If it could talk, I'm sure it would have a story to tell. If you're looking for a 5 star establishment I'd steer clear, but if location, value for money and unique character is on your agenda, its worth a go. We enjoyed it and kudos to the friendly staff. Its our new hotel of choice when visiting the city of churches.

I get that the Ambassador is supposed to be old, but there's old & then there is just run down & unhygienic. My family have just spent the weekend here & our room was totally unacceptable. THE PHOTOS ON THE WEBSITE ARE INCORRECT!!! THE ROOM DID NOT LOOK ANYTHING LIKE THIS!!!

The room smelt musty & so did the bedding.
Broken toilet (button was missing, making it hard to flush)
The beds were definitely in need of replacement, they were wobbly & every single spring could be felt.
These are just a few issues we had. The staff were friendly but the Ambassador could definitely use an update. Not just for looks but for hygiene reasons. I would not recommend to family or friends to stay here in a hurry. Also not worth the $$ we spent to stay here.
