I want to file a complaint about the Halloween Hall event. The whole experience was very uncomfortable. The space was filled with smoke and had an unpleasant smell, with poor ventilation and stuffy air. It felt as if it was designed to make you want to strip down and unleash your inner beast.

We fell in love with the space the minute we stepped into the venue. From day 1, we had such a fantastic experience planning our wedding at Mirra events. Jessie and Tayla were amazing coordinators from venue showing to set up and decor, they even accommodated a very late decision (2 weeks before) to include a new vendor. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, the food was amazing, everything ran on schedule and we always felt supported. We truly felt that the cost was well worth it.

We held our work event here a couple of weeks back, the venue itself was beautiful, the food was amazing and we were very well looked after by Leah (thank you!).

However, the planning phase did have some challenges that tainted the experience for us. As AV was not included in the venue hire, we were assigned Patrick to organize this addition. We had months of back and forth where he was more interested in upselling us (not valuing our budget), emphasising the 'venue's standards', rather than allowing us the very basic items we were asking for (all we needed was a microphone, projector and screen). We felt our needs were being ignored, and the stress was really unnecessary over something that could have been so simple.

Nevertheless, the venue was still beautiful, with majority of others we interacted with being friendly and helpful. We'd love to give a special thank you to Kate, who helped us with the booking, Leah, who looked after us on the day, and all the staff that served us on the night. They definitely made the event a lot better. :)

Our wedding at The Warehouse on August 16th was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that The Warehouse is a top-tier venue with an unparalleled level of service. If you're looking for a venue that offers impeccable service and a truly memorable experience, we wholeheartedly recommend The Warehouse. Our wedding day was a dream come true, and we have Jenna, Olive and the entire team at The Warehouse to thank for it.

We could not recommend MIRRA enough to anyone looking for an event big or small. Our wedding was beyond our expectations. Not just the setup and décor, the service and communication was faultless from day one. The food for the night was so positively reviewed by our wedding guests and they all loved the venue space. We are so grateful we found this place for our inner city wedding and really felt this gave us the value for money we spent too.

Beautiful place to plan your wedding or any other event you need. The staff is simply incredible, they are very kind people always attentive to you, what you need and every detail. The decoration is delicate and very elegant. The atmosphere is simply charming. The prices are great, worth every penny. Jess and Tayla are so friendly! They take care of everything for you. We had our wedding here and it was an absolute dream. Loved the aesthetics across the Loft, the Hall and rooftop. Food was incredible (which was a must for us) and wine selection is impressive. Highly recommend the paella.
Olive, Jenna and team made the planning process so simple and enjoyable for us. Very hands-on and professional. Coordinating with external vendors was seamless. The way the Warehouse team handled everything on the day was not only amazing, but allowed us to really soak in the moments. The Warehouse was the perfect venue for our wedding. Jenna had been very a pleasure to work with. Absolutely great person. I am still out of words! My wedding was flawless, it run in time/ The view from the venue was absolutely beautiful, adding to the magic of the day. I had the most wonderful photos ever. It was a real come true. I wouldn’t change anything about my wedding. The Warehouse has been very flexible to our needs. Not only the food was delicious, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend The Warehouse for any special event!

We recently acquired two paintings for our new property. The gallery was welcoming and displayed a variety of artistic styles. Sharon was extremely accommodating. When she didn’t have what we were specifically after on display, she went above and beyond to help us find what we were after. Delivery was prompt and on time. We were very pleased with the experience.

I went to an event here on Saturday night, and it was fantastic.
The whole place is wheelchair accessible and all the staff were super friendly and helpful.
There are a couple of steps to get onto the main floor area in front of the stage, but I still had a really fantastic time.
The music and lighting were incredible and overall a great night!

Sharon Mitchell couldn't have been more helpful. We arrived just before closing and she was more than happy to allow us to take our time in selecting a beautiful painting by Lily Kelly Napangardi. Once purchased the canvass was stretched and available for pickup without any fuss in just a few days. There were also photos of the artist working on the piece and a certificate of authenticity for us to take. Thank you Sharon – we love the artwork.

From a photographers perspective Mirra is the perfect spot for an inner city wedding. The venue photographs beautifully and offers a modern aesthetic for your ceremony and after ceremony celebrations. The staff are wonderful, friendly and truly care about your wedding running smoothly.

Fantastic choice of Aboriginal paintings in Brisbane! Mike knows his stuff and there's a wonderfull choice of artists and paintings. We arrived a little late on a Saturday afternoon and nothign was too hard even if we were a bit undecided between 2 really nices artworks. Super friendly, never pushy at all, great advice so really recommended and we'll come back !

John and his staff were amazing in helping us execute our 2023 Christmas Pop Up Market. It's such an awesome space, with a great feel, loads of room and furniture placement options, and perfect location! Highly recommend!

Oh my goodness what a gorgeous venue! Attended a local artists showcase and upon entering the venue, you are greeted with an ambient, homey atmosphere! Great little bar set up with friendly staff..tables, couches and chairs give it a very relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We hired Loyal Hope to host an acoustic music night and it was honestly the best venue. We had looked at various venues around Brisbane but the minute I walked into Loyal Hope I knew it was the right space. We had a wonderful night, the team were amazing & it really was the best venue for our event. The owner John was brilliant in communication & everything was so easy / straightforward. Highly recommend!

My partner and I got married at Loyal Hope on Friday and we’re incredibly happy with the everything!
The staff were all professional and helpful. Danielle was clear and fabulous with communication and ensuring all the details were sorted well before the night. Staff at the event were kind, courteous and helpful. The staff adjusted lighting to match what was happening in the moment and the music without needing any prompts. Between the ceremony and the reception the staff reset the room, and we were able to start the food and drink service quickly due to how easy this process was. They were easy to negotiate a time the following day to collect our belongings and were helpful in this process too.
The interior of the venue just intimate and well presented. The environment helped to create the atmosphere we were hoping for, we’re our guests felt welcomed and relaxed. The building itself was gorgeous, and we had many compliments about how sweet it looked.
The location is unmatched, close reach to James street but secluded enough that we had privacy even when we and our guests ventured outside.
The accessibility of the venue was also fabulous. With the ramp and accessible bathrooms our guests who needed walking aides or were in wheelchairs were able to attend. The non-gendered bathrooms meant all our guests felt included and safe in accessing the facilities. The parking was easy and so close, making it so simple and easy for all our guests.
We would absolutely recommend Loyal Hope and are grateful for all the work that went into making our night such a success.

We had our wedding at Mirra on the 19/08/23 and it was the most magical day. Being the type A person I am, I provided diagrams of how I wanted the venue to be styled to the coordinators and not only were they so onboard, they executed everything to perfection. The venue honestly couldn’t have looked any more like the vision I had in my head. The staff on the night were great, communicated with us as needed and made sure all of our guests were looked after. So many of our guests commented on how much they loved the venue.

It was a pleasure to purchase a beautiful work from Mitchell Fine Art--Ashira responded promptly to my emails and provided the information I asked for enabling me to make the decision to purchase. The work arrived safely and is very beautiful. A good gallery is not just interested in selling but in sharing the experience of bring together an artist with the public. This gallery does this well.

I was very happy with Mitchell Fine Art. when entering for the first time, mark and sharon were very welcoming and informative. We were then invited for a gallery viewing and some drinks. We had my Mum's surprise 60th birthday party at Loyal Hope. The venue was absolutely perfect. John was so kind and easy to work with. All the staff were super friendly. Would definitely host another event at this space.

We had our wedding at Loyal Hope in July 2022. It is such a beautiful space and the decor was perfect for our event, and was quickly turned from a beautiful ceremony setting into a chic cocktail space with a dance floor. The staff were amazing, really attentive and helpful. We, and our guests, had the best time!

We came across Mitchell Fine Art while strolling around the gallery neighbourhood of Fortitude valley. Being from Sydney we had not been familiar with the Gallery. Meeting Mike and Sharon was a fantastic experience. Nothing was too much trouble, they gladly got numerous pieces out for us to look at and their knowledge of indigenous artists was invaluable in helping us purchase a piece by Walungkura Napanangka. To our surprise, when we received the piece , accompanying it was a series of original photos , I assume Mike had taken of the Walungkura many years ago depicting her at different stages of painting our actual piece. The team at Mirra (Grayce & Victoria) were incredible to deal with. If you are thinking of booking Mirra just do it. Our guests raved about how amazing the food was (we did the banquet menu and canapés) and how nice the wine was (we picked wines for on consumption), and how beautiful the venue is. Grayce & Victoria were extremely attentive and organised, and they made the planning process easy. Everything ran smoothly on the night and it was so wonderful being able to relax, knowing the reception was in safe hands. We had the best wedding reception at Mirra!!!

Each time we are in Brisbane, we make time to call in and see the Mitchell Fine Art team. With a ever changing exhibition program showcasing contemporary Australia artists it is a captivating visit each time.

My now-husband and I did something a little crazy… we got engaged AND married in 48 hours! So, with only 24 hours to plan our wedding, I thought I had no chance of booking my dream wedding venue, Loyal Hope. Then, in stepped Danielle, John and their incredible team. With such little notice they coordinated our perfect wedding day (we are still on Cloud 9 three weeks later!). They went above and beyond to arrange the day quickly for us, and no request was too large. We hosted both our ceremony and reception at Loyal Hope and our 25 guests were in awe of their stunning surrounds. The venue is all class, with no extra styling required given the beautiful 1920’s atmosphere, scattered pot plants and funky ornaments around the room, along with the exquisite forest green tiled bar that sits in the corner of the event space. Our wedding photos from this picture-perfect venue are magical! On top of all of this, the service staff on the night were delightful and accommodating and went above and beyond to care for our guests.

We could not recommend saying ‘I Do’ anywhere else! Loyal Hope will be forever in our hearts x

Representing an excellent group of emerging and established artists, the exhibitions are extremely well-curated with a diverse crowd appreciating the excitement on opening nights. Staff are knowledgeable and warm-hearted, offering lovely support to enjoy their exhibitions throughout the week, regardless of your own level of knowledge or experience. Double thumbs-up!
