I got a personal tour on this museum! I learned about the purpose of switch stations and how they communicate to the rail. The tour guide was pretty cool!
Neat little place with lots of good train info. Also a good spot to watch trains passing by, and had train toys for the kids to play with.
Got to see several trains pass by! It was a bit chilly, but I still had a great time. 🚅 ❤️ 🙂
Its 3 buildings, freight shed, signal tower and a covered waiting area with a complete bay window chessie system caboose. Its only open on fri sat sun. Couldn't give u ticket prices. Its right next to the high-speed northeast corridor. Only 9 miles fm BWPRKWY off 197.
This was a really interesting museum, with a lot of historical railroad information. We got to go in a real caboose and the old signal tower. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back again sometime.
Very small. Worth a walk, but the museum section (two rooms) smelled very strongly of animal urine. Train caboose was locked when I visited.
This is a great little community and volunteer run rail museum which is spread out between 2 buildings (station and tower) and a single beautifully restored caboose. You can come and see it all with the help of a guide in 30 min or less so a nice quick diversion even if you are just passing through.
