Had a fantastic seafood lunch, the owner is very friendly and so is the staff. There were 5 of us ladies and we shared a seafood platter for four people. Two ladies had the galician soup, very hearty, but a little salty. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely go back if I am in the area.
This place is amazing!
We had a wonderful dinner in this restaurant. The food and wine were delicious and the waiter was very nice.
Went twice back to back... So good.
Short server with black hair is the best.
Get calamari, seafood platter for 2, and fish rice. Pretty affordable considering it's seafood and we ate a lot. Good dessert too
The best sea platter we’ve ever had! Everything was so fresh and really tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful. We also got to try some delicious Spanish vines here.

Food is excellent but not cheap. We had a fish, a bottle of wine and a small plate of gooseneck barnacles = €145 for 2 people.
Great place, great service and, most importantly, awesome food. We got percebes, they were big, full of flavor. Our waitress was really awesome. Recommended for seafood, we will return as soon as we are able!

Food was great (it took it‘s time, but was fresh made). I‘ve ordered a Paella for 1Person. It was a very big portion, but it seems it was no Problem to take the Rest with me.
The order were attentive and friendly, although the Restaurant was quite full so it was a Little Bit busy there.

I think, it‘s nearly the only Restaurant where you can order a Paella just for one Person, thank you for that!

Parkspaces around the city.

Wow.wow.wow. the food is absolutely excellent. Staff amazing and very friendly. Arroz con bogavante was absolutely heavenly. The calamari as a starter you can feel how fresh it is. 100 percent thumbs up. PERFECT
Eduard welcomed us! You are met with a counter of fresh oysters that are at everyone's table! With lots of other choices! What l notice is it is occupied with locals and tourists alike!! The best place to be!!
I would highly recommend for a Vigo seafood experience!!!!
We are lucky enough to live very close to this place. We see the work they do every day to keep up cleanliness and quality. Great people who are passionate about giving the customer a great experience.
After 8 years back! Delicious, good service and perfect typical atmosphere. Oysters excellent fresh. Arroz Marisco good. No coffee, good Godello wine. I will be back soon!

Excellent restaurant that has been in operation since the 1930s. The menu is not extensive but everything is delicious and very well prepared. Great wine list and impecable service. Highly recommended.
Superb service. With a humble entrance, There is a hidden garden inside the restaurant. The seafood was fresh with affordable price. The waitress helped my children to clean the spider crab shell for take away. Don’t forget to try the chocolate cake, yet again, with humble look but taste unforgettable.
We were two for lunch and both asked for an “individual” rice dish: bacalao and pulpo for me; zamburiñas and vieiras for my partner. That was a lot of food for two!!! And it wasn’t just rice: both dishes were dense with seafood! The staff was super nice, too. This is an easy one to recommend!
We took a delightful break from the Camino on Rua Pescaderia to indulge in a seafood feast at Bar Cocedero La Piedra. Fresh oysters kicked off the celebration, their briny perfection a perfect start. The sardines were flawless - unbelievably fresh and perfectly cooked. Mussels, though a bit on the small side, didn't disappoint with their flavor. But the star of the show were the chiparrones, baby squid so addictive we couldn't stop reaching for more.

A warm bowl of Sopa de Gallega soothed our happy bellies after the seafood extravaganza. To complete the experience, we shared a bottle of crisp albarino white wine, the perfect complement to the meal. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole lunch an absolute pleasure. Highly recommend Bar Cocedero La Piedra for anyone seeking an excellent Vigo seafood experience!
Everything was wonderful, but the fish dishes needed a little something to develop the taste. No vegetables on the menu which was disappointing.
Very bad. The paella was very expensive. But we really wanted to try it because we came to Spain for a few days. It was tasty. However, my friends and I (4 people) got very severe food poisoning. And for the second day in a row, we've been suffering from stomach pain.

The best food we had while in Galiza. The rice is to die for, the sea bass was grilled to perfection, and their wine recommendation was spot on. Plus there were all sorts of delicious mini starters. The service was perfect too. Everyone was just so nice. We ate indoors. It was raining and im not sure they have an outdoors area, but it the room was warm and welcoming. I strongly recommend
La Piedra Bar Cocedero in Vigo is a great choice for seafood lovers. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional and the dishes taste delicious. Its rustic and cozy atmosphere will make you feel like you're in a real Galician seafood restaurant. The wide variety of fresh seafood and traditional preparation guarantee delicious and high-quality dishes. In addition, their customer service is impeccable, making the experience even more enjoyable, and the price is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to any seafood lover.
It's a nice Galician restaurant. We ordered the seafood barbecue and it was nice. Friendly staff and budget food. recommended.

Gifty and I dined there for lunch today. This was a very nice experience. I will say a very a near perfect 360 degree experience.

Appetizers were lovely including a Galation cheese selection. I chose the sirloin which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Meat quality was superior. Gifty chose lobster as her main served with a “dippy” egg and chips. Lobster was delightful.

The deserts were wonderful as well

The service was impeccable.

We will definitely visit on our next visit and highly recommend this establishment

Thank you for the delight!

Absolutely delicious seafood. I went with family that was from Vigo and they ordered so many delicious local seafood items. Everything and I mean everything was so fresh and so good. The local white wine also paired perfectly. The scallops are still my favorite even though they are done differently than other local restaurants.
Hard do get better then this. Super fresh, delicious and properly prepared seafood plate with several delicious species. Super friendly staff, allways taking care of us at all times. The price is fair, you should give it a tey if you come to Vigo. Its at the old city center, 1 street away from the marina. Tottaly worth the try, you'll love it as much as I did.
The service was outstanding! The waiters were so attentive and caring, the food was great! The homemade empanada was excellent 👌🏻 the rice was delicious and so were the rest… highly recommend this place 👍🏻
Nice food, very typical from Galicia. The quality is good and the service is fine. The place is not great.
A little pricey but worth it. The food is so fresh and tasty. The owners are so lovely and caring. It's a popular spot, so you'll probably have to wait to be served but once you get a table, you'll quickly see it was worth the wait.
The place is paradise for seafood lovers : huge variety of delicious species , very well cooked. We liked so much that came back again next day to try more dishes from menu. Service is very good and kind, not to forget the wine selection. Strongly recommend when in Vigo!
We went there to have lunch. We had seafood like shrimps, clams, octopus and . The ham croquettes were very good. And the fried fish was delicious as well. The service and price recommendable.

Incredible seafood! Had the best sea brass. Very friendly people, went 4 times and every time 10/10. If you're in the nearby harbour, only a small walk from a great restaurant.

Very nice place with lots of fresh sea food dishes. Friendly staff. The photo is of the blue lobster dish.
This was an amazing experience! Thanks to mariscada we’ve tried a little bit of everything. Generous portion for 2!
In a touristy area this is the place to have oysters, they are delicious. You order them from the stall (the man shucking them is great, friendly and fast), then grab a table and order your drinks and any other food from the waiters. The guy shucking will bring your oysters to you. It can get very busy but has quite a lot of tables in and out, and waiters are fast given how busy they are. A great way to experience fresh seafood in Vigo.
I would avoid.
We are a polite, undemanding friendly bunch of tourists and felt poorly treated here.
Avoid the Galician soup! Very (very!) salty and overly processed.
Langoustines (king prawns) very good.
The rest, overly processed and nothing special for a town that otherwise has great service and fresh seafood.
We were looking for Galician octopus and oysters. we found them! fresh, large and really tasty oysters. the octopus and sardines were ok, the fried squid was terrible. Full of oil, not crunchy breading was lost in the dish. Considering that oysters are not a restaurant dish but from an outside kiosk, this restaurant is just ok.
I was here eating alone last August 2022, although can't get a decent table I had the best fresh oysters in front of me😋 it was my first time to try and it didn't won't me down, so sweet and by his own salt, drizzle with lemon and it's totally a wow! and secondly i ordered thier baked scallops and it's the best! So rich , month watering and tasty, from now then i kept searching for that kind of seafoods, i tried in different restaurants but you'll not gonna taste the freshness and cooked very well like here in La Marina. Definitely best seafood experience during my summer vacation in Vigo!🥰
The best place to have a fine Galician meal in Vigo. High quality delicious seafood, nice and intimate terrace with a fresh sea wind, friendly personnel, excellent wine selection. We ate pulpo (the best I’ve tried ever), almejas, navajas, zamburiñas, empanada and fish. Chocolate cake was a dessert to die for. Definitely a place to recommend.
Had an excellent seafood platter for two, and the free appetiser of mussel pate was very good too. Excellent service.
Outstanding! We dined at Casa Vella for lunch and made our reservations first thing in the morning. Wonderful staff and the food was outstanding. There are oyster shuckers around the restaurants, but not apart of the restaurants, so we ordered a dozen from one of the shuckers to ADD it to our fantastic meal of Pulpo and Paella. At this restaurant the Paella is "wet". In other words, it is more soupy that dry like that of Southern Spain,. Nonetheless, the seafood and service was excellent! Gracias!
This is the only location that we chose to eat at twice. The best empanada mejillones that I have had in Vigo. We also loved the zamburiñas. The staff is warm and welcoming, you can tell that they put a lot of love into their food and the service they provide. I highly recommend this restaurant to get a true taste of Vigo.
We had an incredibly nice evening here with an excellent service and great seafood! The crabs are served cold btw. The atmosphere is very authentic and the prices are fair. You will get a rich variety of seafood when ordering arroz with seafood. It’s definitely a recommendation to go here!
We had a great seafood experience here with excellent service! The inside is very nice, though I think the pricing is a bit too high. Beside that, they had everything but oysters available. It’s definitely a place to recommend.
The restaurant is nice with friendly and professional service. The food was good as well. We received some nice starters, and had some good albariño to go with everything. The reason I would give El Mosquito four stars instead of five is because for the price that we paid, I expected something more. We had better food for a better price in Vigo and area.

Excellent food and a great service!
Great place, with amazing staff(waiter), very helpful with portuguese costumers and very good food.
The seafood was fresh and in great variety. The desert called, Tarta de la Abuela is just to die for, go for it.
I have recently visited and it did not disappoint, tasty food and super nice staff. I definetly recommended for a sea food colunary experience in Vigo.
The best place in Vigo to eat seafood! The best one! :) Great staff.. great food.. ! Perfect!

Fresh seafood at Michelin Star restaurant prices. The two times we have been there the menu card is somehow always missing and we get ripped off like you wouldnt believe it. The food is good but the price is totally ridicoulous - around 200% of similar restaurants.
Fresh shellfish at its best. Still the best after 2 years. Great service, a little noisy outside when a Cruise ship is in but get a table outside if you can. Local beer and wine recommended with the cockles, scallops and octopus.

Excellent fish and seafood, the best quality. Deceptively expensive, looks very simple and homey but the prices are upscale.
