One of the most authentic italian restaurants in Gold Coast. There is a reason for the restaurant to be packed every day. The food was delicious, staff are very professional and helpful. The boss is super friendly, we went there once before, and the second time when we were there he remembered us. We were very surprised giving the place is so busy and there would be hundreds customers he's dealing with everyday. It's a highly recommended and probably the best italian restaurant in gold coast. You can not fault this place. Strongly suggest you to book it before you go.

We had breakfast at the Surfers Paradise Beach Cafe, and it was absolutely delicious! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ambiance was interesting with the birds wanting to participate in our eating experience. It is a gorgeous spot by the ocean. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I recommend stopping by for a meal if you’re in the area! Say Hi to the bin chicken!

Had breakfast, nothing special about the service, but i admire the staff seems to always try outfast the birds from snatching leftovers (which seems to cause a potential mess and danger to other customers).

Foods were good, just a normal breakfast, nothing too special, nothing wrong either.

The food was absolutely amazing (which we expected as soon as we walked in).
We had the focaccia for a starter, the carbonara and alfredo for mains and the creme caramel and sticky date pudding for dessert.
Our server was attentive and was quick to offer drink refills as soon as our glasses were empty.
The best pasta I have ever had- I will definitely come back to the gold coast just to come here again! 😊
It does get quite busy very quickly with takeaway orders as well as people waiting for their tables, so I definitely recommend booking!

The host is awesome, very friendly and recommend the best pizza I had. The food is good, quite authentic Italian taste. One thing I don't like is that there are too many flies, constant bother me. Hope we can isolate the dining space to prevent those bugs

Atmosphere: **
Sunday night, beach front dining. We found a 7 seat high (bar) table, which was very cramped and felt uncomfortable. Additionally, the tables seemed over compressed and hard to negotiate if you needed to walk around. Inside the venue was better presented but also look very unused considering it’s the Gold Coast. As the open area is shared with 3 other restaurants the customer experience feels very flat.

I give this rating as constructional feedback.
You were understaffed tonight, with delays on the food - additionally a mushroom sauce was missing from the rump steak order, notified immediately at the bar and it took almost 10 minutes to get it out to us.
Staff were friendly and doing the best they could but it felt poorly organised with tables going un-bussed for some time. This allowed for seagulls to fly in, land on the tables and start eating the left over food. This is a serious hygiene issue - more attention here should be given. The whole area should be netted from guards to the roadside ceiling.

Order Chicken Parmigiana & Beef Brisket Burger (chef special)
Chicken Parmigiana: Napoli sauce was really flat in flavour, I suspect that not enough sauce was used. The chicken was good thick portion though, juicy and tasty. Salad seemed thrown together, but the chips were excellent!
Beef Brisket Burger: brisket was melt in your mouth texture, but sriracha sauce was lacking in hot spice flavour, was rather mild for me, the size of the burger was perfect, larger then your normal burger, overall a tasty good size burger only, no chips which was an extra cost.

I believe there are some serious issues that need to be addressed with the service, food and atmosphere of this restaurant and also the outside dining area in general across all of these restaurants. I highly encourage you to look into this.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Alfresco's, with perfectly cooked steaks and some indulgent desserts to finish. The dishes were beautifully presented and full of flavour, making for a memorable Italian dining experience. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere added to the charm of the evening. While everything was delicious, it was on the pricier side, so be prepared for a bit of a splurge. Overall, a great spot if you're looking for quality food and a cozy dining experience.

We are two girls from China, and our dining experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The dishes suited our taste perfectly—everything was delicious and fresh, and the prices were quite reasonable. The service was exceptional, especially the male manager who was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The female staff members were also very friendly and kind, and even helped us take photos. It was a warm and thoughtful experience overall. Highly recommend this place, and we will definitely come back!

At first I was shocked to pay for a $22 burger, alone with no fries... But WOW! The biggest chicken schnitzel burger I've ever seen. Worth the money! Food was quickly served and fresh. My husband had the burger with the lot with a side of sweet potato fries, there was so many fries to share with three of us. Delicious! Our friend from Mexico wanted to try the barramundi fish. She was sooo happy! She said compliments to the chef. 🙏🏼😊. This restaurant is worth going too, as you have the beautiful view of the beach 🏖️

Thank you so much Alfresco. There were 9 of us and, even without a booking, we were able to get a table. We had a fabulous meal. All dietary needs meet and exceeded. Add in the friendly staff who gave us excellent service - the perfect evening out.

The best restaurant of my life! The risotto was perfect, and the steak sauce was full of flavor, so I couldn't help but admire it as soon as I ate it. Of course the steak itself was great. I'm willing to go to the Gold Coast to stop by this restaurant. It was an amazing dinner❤️

Had lunch at Beach Cafe recently, and the food was fantastic! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal by the water with some really great options on the menu.

That said, the service was quite slow. The staff were friendly, but it took a while for our food to arrive, even though it wasn’t too busy. If you’re not in a rush, it’s still a nice place to relax and enjoy the view.

I’d definitely come back for the food, but hopefully, next time the service is a bit faster!

Very delicious , we couldn't get through it. Eggs were slightly too runny for me, but I didn't have the option to choose eggs via QR Code.

Other than that food was great and customer service 10/10.

I don't often leave a review, but respectable institutions like this deserves to be known about. This has to be the best Fish and Chip shop on the Gold Coast. I am particular on some of these more traditionally humble, laid back meals maintaining humble, laid back prices.

The prices are very competitive. Hamburger with extras, $10, and it's really good. Infact, all burgers are cheap, and all burgers are so darn tasty.

The fish is great, from a simple cheap cut to a more premium cut, they are good, size fillets with great batter and great quality chips.

The food and the prices make this feel more than a business but an institution. It's no suprise they have won awards.

food without a doubt slaps. i ate there multiple times, and the fish, bacon burger, steak sandwich and chicken snitzel burger are amazing. not only are the standards high, but the prices are low. simply one of the best places to eat in the goldie

Established in 1972. This fish and chips/fishmonger. Grills an awesome salmon. That with an awesome Greek salad. Not sure if they are Greek but the feta was amazing cherry tomato’s and dressing was the best I have ever had. 😋

My partner and I live near by and have been going for years to indulge.
In fact, we normally would get fish and chips but, recently we've been buying the chicken snitzy burger. It is delicious.
Especially because they add beetroot to the salad. Very fresh bread bun. Yummy.

Superb plce.. only do take out.. the fresh oyster is fresh, the fish and chips is nice.. close on Monday, open 10am…

They no longer do dine-ins. That’s a waste.

Decent Fish n Chips. Lightly coated, fresh fish and hot chips. Had to wait awhile as it was busy with many orders.

Will gladly go back. The food was fresh and delicious. I had fish'n'chips and the photo doesn't do it justice. It was delicately crumbed and lighty fried - didn't feel oily - and had a great crisp texture. Chips had a wonderful crunch. The seafood salad was excellent. Overall a great meal and served promptly The venue seems popular with the locals, with a steady stream of people ollecting their lunches and the guys behind the counter greeting them by name. There's a very small number of tables and the staff were accomodating by suggesting we combine 2 tsingle tables to fit our party of 3. Great seafood; great staff. Well recommended.
