We were a group of 19 family members. It was surprising hard to get a reservation for a group that large on a Sunday night in Laval but Sterlings was happy to take us and provided a large rectangular table in a semi-private area that was perfect for the occasion. Everything was wonderful. Food was great, service by Dino, Chanel and Nathan was extremely attentive. All the main courses were served at the same time which is something for a group that large. We will definitely return.
The staff that served us throughout our meal were impeccable! The food was amazing and were always open to substitute an ingredient or suggest another option. Highly recommended!!
Exceptional steaks in a nice atmosphere. Great place for a date or special occasion, or just to enjoy a good piece of meat. Waiter was so attentive and welcoming that I was surprised to discover that he was not the owner.

A high end steakhouse located in Centropolis shopping mall. There is indoor and outdoor seating here. I had the 12oz fillet mignon with a baked potato. It came out perfectly cooked to temperature. The baked potato was also amazing! I’m not sure if I’ve ever had a potato that good from a steakhouse before. It was not crowded at all when we went, maybe 3-4 tables were being served total. Overall, the food was delicious, staff was over the top friendly and service was very timely. This is definitely not a cheap restaurant but the steak is very worth it.
Seems a bit unhygienic. The food is little below average. Fillet mignon was hard as it could get. The chicken was over spiced. As typical Afghan food has minimal spices. Ice cream was good though. The tea cup had a lipstick from previous guest. The waitress was nice to exchange the cup for me when I asked her.
Best Afghani restaurant in Laval for sure! Amazing food! Each dish is simply amazing. Very generous portions. Price is excellent! I don’t know about the service but the food is amazing so that’s okay. Must try!
Good atmosphere, meat is good, but the seafood could be better. The beef sandwich is excellent.
Riaz Kabab offers a variety of traditional dishes with amazing flavours and generous portions. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal. The service is extremely friendly and attentive. Overall, it's a great spot to experience authentic Afghan cuisine. Highly Recommend to anyone!
We have been coming here for years and also recommend this place to others, but today they did something that completely changed my views on them, my friend came here today on 4/20/25 her and her friends ordered food to eat. My friend found hair in one of her kebabs and notified the waitress, the waitress told her dont worry we will pack you a new kebab to go. When it came to pay the bill, they did not only not include the kebab they promised but they also charged my mother the kebab that she had given back! Being a long time customer here i cant fathom on why would they do that? Anyways after today I will never step foot back in this establishment.

The staff was friendly but the service was slow. It was empty on a Wednesday night. We were starving that the Hostess knows it and gave us extra bread because the waitress was busy with another customer. It took over 20 min to get our order. The chicken was dry, we took it back home. Everything else on our plates we finish. Overall, it was a ok experience.

Great spot for Italian comfort food. Service was great and food was tasty.
Picked this spot for their Ribeye Steak! Lucky for us, it was also lobster fest. Very large servings! Lobster Roll Feature and Ribeye.
Perhaps the cow wasn't cooperating for us - the ribeye was not the greatest for the price point.
Would definitely recommend this spot and would definitely eat here again.

Everything 10/10 , I’ve been here twice for a family dinner event and always satisfied. I will be definitely going back sometime soon. 😋🍽️

Right off the bat, the place looks unassuming from the outside. But inside, you're brought into what feels like you're on an actual ship. The atmosphere is the best part about this place.
The food and service was mediocre at best. In one word, our food was "okay". The lobster tasted fine, but you get very little meat. The linguine was fine. The gnocchi was straight-up not good. Very doughy.
The calamari, on the other hand, was pretty good and the arancini wasn't bad.
We've heard great things about this place, so we'll be willing to give it another go with different dishes.

The place is nice! The food is great and tasty! The only "bad" thing is that they only have 2 deserts menu but apartfrom that it's good! I'll go be for sure
Great place and amazing tasty food. Portions are perfect and prices are good. Just one thing, maybe to pay a bit more attention to the take away orders packaging. Would definitely come back.

For the fans of Middle-Eastern food, this Afghan restaurant is the real deal! Absolutely scrumptious dishes, kind staff and an atmosphere that takes you out of North America to around 10 thousand kilometres away in the heart of Afghanistan 🇦🇫

As a first visit, we must say this was memorable. The food is simply amazing. Took the kir royal (the best ever), minestrone soup and Cesar salad, filet mignon with shrimps and chicken parmigiana. Extremely good; cooked to perfection. The vegetables were perfect, tasty. The filet mignon cooked perfectly (medium). Good music from an accordeon man and in different languages. Highly recommended
Delicious chicken soup with Good portion😛. The Dopiaza was good , if you love onion broth 😋😋. The Qabuli taste good but the shank was hard to chew . The dessert was alright( don’t recommend) Service 5 stars . Tables were clean 🧼.

A very clear and obvious example of the phrase :"don't judge a book by its cover" Le Pirate may not look like much from its simple ornamental porthole door but upon entering you quickly discover the true charm - A lovely, antique pirate ship theme crewed by the warmest, most welcoming and pleasant staff you'll find. In addition to the main dining room; there are also seperate rooms for private parties (pre-covid).

Very good service. The waiters and watiteress were very kind and nice to us and the family. We had the place to ourselves for a private event. The only I thing I did not like was the lighting of the restaurant. I found it a little bit dark. And the room for us guest was very tight. Not that much room to move around. And also in the bathroom for ladies there is no changing table for the baby. I had to lay my nephew on the sink. But other then that the food was great. The wine was great. Very nice cuisine Italian food. And the restaurant was very beautiful. I loved the theme that it's a boat.

Quaint, personalized service with consistent, delicious food. With kids or with adults, everyone was satisfied with their meal. Tender gnocchi, perfectly prepared veal and tastes-like-home spaghetti. They even do take out if you ask. Great any night of the week.
What a lovely Italian restaurant. This is definitely our favorite in Laval, we will be back for sure. Great ambience, great food ... what a lovely night with my family,

This is the second time in 2 weeks that I've gone to La vielle Banque and we were 6 each time.
The food was exceptional as was the Wine which was reasonably priced.
I recommend that you try their Foie poèlé and the Veal Marsale..
