Lifestyle changes are difficult. My decision to transition from my own home to the Atria ranks among my best. What I have found in Atria is a real community. A combination of independence and camaraderie, a variety of interesting and challenging activities, and a caring staff that has become family along with friends with whom I have bonded and enjoy and share great adventures.

As a volunteer at Atria Glen Cove I have been in contact on a regular basis with the residences, staff and administrators. I have seen the beautiful renovations that have been completed during a period of construction where the continued services by a dedicated staff of professionals were on display every day . Hats off to Atria Glen Cove .

My wife and myself run an outreach in an impoverished area of Long Island where we reach out to an extremely vulnerable population. This Mother's Day we had it in our heart to make blessing baskets full of items to make local Moms feel important and dignified. Jody Weber, the Engage Life Director, engaged the residents of your facility in making and donating baskets to us to give out. They made the most beautiful and thoughtful baskets, most of them went to teenage Moms here who are completely alone yet chose to have their baby regardless. Thank you Jody, staff and residents for getting involved in giving others hope!

The Atria Glen Cove is a such a beautiful place. Impeccably clean, kind, caring and friendly staff. It is always a pleasure visiting. Dedication to its residents is unparalleled. The amount of love and genuine care for the residents well being is felt as soon as you walk in the door. I have never seen a higher level of professionalism and engagement between residents and staff.

With the incredible challenges that Covid-19 has presented in keeping residents safe and healthy in Assisted Living Facilities, ATRIA Glen Cove stands out as a leader in quality care. As an entertainer working in Assisted Facilities all over New York, I get to observe how the staff treat the residents (from my perspective) and how well facilities run. I have to say that ATRIA Glen Cove is very impressive. From an activities point of view, I am so impressed with how Jody Lloyd-Weber has implemented entertainment, exercise and other stimulated programs on virtual, as well as live in the facility -whenever possible. I have known Jody for many years and have worked with her at other facilities. She always brings an excellent standard of therapeutic recreation to her department. Jody knows that if I were to see anything less than excellent treatment of the residents from staff of any department, I would bring it to her attention. I have observed how well the ATRIA Glen Cove staff relates to the residents, and can honestly say that I've seen nothing less than being treated with kindness and respect. I would even venture to say, with love. To me, it seems like there are a lot of happy residents here. Maybe it has something to do with how the residents and facility always look so well cared for. I look forward to many opportunities to work with the staff, visit and entertain the residents over the next year and years to come.

The Atria Glen Cove has done an extraordinary job of keeping my mom safe during this very trying time caused by the pandemic. The wellness staff goes above and beyond daily. Jessica Leone and Susan Rush are just two in leadership positions who set the bar high. My Mom has been at the Atria for quite a number of years...these women and many others strive to keep her well cared for.
The only thing that stands between me and a rating of 5 is the culinary department. Food has been a challenge in the past few years, but the first 4 years it was superb. My hope is that the rents stay stable, the care remains at this high level and that the food returns to the same high standard as the wellness staff employs! Helene

Atria Glen Cove is not just a senior living residence but a family. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a warm smile by the receptionist who will ALWAYS ask if she can get you something to eat or drink. The staff are kind, caring and passionate about making a difference.

Mom is happy, there can't be anything better than that, when you know your parent likes being at the Atria.
Mom had gotten sick, and the wonderful ladies from health service, Rachel and the rest of the staff were right there with her, and made her feel comfortable. They got her through a very rough patch. BRAVO!!
