Cool playground!
Nice and cozy place
I regret to say that this condo has, in my experience, one of the worst management teams in the city. Their reputation within the community is far from favorable. In particular, I found the superintendent, Patrick, to be somewhat sneaky and not always forthright in his actions, which was disappointing.

NO HOT WATER FOR 4 DAYS!!!! EVERYTIME I CALL THE MAIN OFFICE THEY REFER ME TO THE MAINTENANCE HOTLINE. THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND IS CONSIDERED AN EMERGENCY. I REALLY HATE LIVING HERE!!!!
As far as housing developments go this is one of the better ones but a lot of the people who live in the building don't care about basic hygiene they love to leave their trash in the hallways which causes cockroaches plus there's a group of drug dealers out front which is very unenjoyable when you're just trying to go visit your friend
Will not recommend moving here the workers are very rude the housing worker put in my approved transfer 11months ago still waiting for my apartment to be finished also VERY BIG RATS THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE DEVELOPMENT WILL ATTACK YOUNG CHILDREN AT PLAY

Please DO NOT call that management office for help if your HA is Ms. Craig! She is not receptive to listening to whatever the tenant is trying to explain or convey and is mean as a rattlesnake!

Good customer service. Great job done to it. Took my car over there to get some electrical problem done to it and they did a wonderful job to fix it. A bit pricey but job well done.

ZERO STARS would be the appropriate here . Starting with, "Ms Grey", ( answers the phone and claimed that was her name ) she definitely needs to be dismissed from her position because she is not capable of handling inquiries or capable of any "critical thinking" tasks when it comes to trying to solve a tenant's repair/complaint. Saying a million times ,"I don't know" doesn't cut it when people are living with much needed repairs that needed to be done ASAP. They habitually LIE ( and that's ALL THE TIME ) about when repairs / issues are scheduled to be done and hang up the phones on tenants....is that professional ??? Hire people with real skills so that tenants can live in quality living conditions. WHAT ARE THESE MAINTENANCE WORKERS DOING ALL DAY ?? You keep reading other reviews here and it's the same story.
The worst burgers ever
The most incompetent, knowledge-less people ever! They don’t help you when you need it, they love to redirect your calls to people who have no clue what is being asked. Not to mention how patronizing they can be. My toilet has been leaking on and off for months, I’ve put in a work order, took them a while to come, then the maintenance guy tells me he can’t fix it because it’s not in his skill set. That’s just one of the issues I’ve had.
Nice neighborhood and amenities but at least a couple of ugly tenants make it very ghetto regrettably. The proverbial rotten apples.

I am please to live on a quiet floor unfortunately other floors I have notice people making noise, smoking weed, dirty floors...the nycha works do maintain the building clean in the morning enjoy it before the evening comes
I dislike this place because MY 84 year old mother lives there and she has problems in her apartment that has not been addressed. I have spoken to Shaun the superintendent and he's a pathological lier. When there was a leak in the lobby of the building they were constantly at my mother's apartment looking for the leak. She has leaks in her ceilings and they come, say they're coming back and never return. If it was up to me, i'd demolish that whole building!!!!!

The elevators are very small and they go way too slow
You got to be kidding! Sad for the people who have to put up with this dump! The mayor and the governor should do more... Don't quite understand how these two individuals got elected 3 terms. How amazing!

WHY NOT INSPECT THESE HOMES OF THE ELDERLY WITH THESE SONS WHO SELL OR ABUSE DRUGS LOOK IN EVERY ROOMS UNDER COVER IS NEEDED FOR THE 22ND FLOOR AFTER 730 PM PARTYING ON THE ROOF ON THE WEEKEND ESPECIALLY NO THEY ARE NOT ON THE LEASE
These people don't have any education! They don't ever have any answers and the are extremely lazy if I could rate them at a 00 that would be the better option. The lady's at the window don't even look at u when speak with them extremely nasty response the need a whole new staff! It's a shame they must get paid 7.50 an hour cause that's the service worth received! They should be ashamed! Posted by daughter of tenant! I will report them as should everyone that has had to deal with them for years now!
1965 we were the only tenants living at Stephen Wise; 120 West 91st Street & my mom & sons still live there.

Grew up in Stephen Wise Towers project apartments; alongside my brother & mom, when hanging with our friends was the best time & part of our childhood...
Co-op owned, very well maintained with security guard.
I've had the chance to work on this project for the past 2 years, and have enjoyed watching it become one of the best new condo projects in Manhattan, and certainly the most appealing option in NoMad. I'm not sure how many apartments are still available, but I'd highly recommend 212 Fifth Avenue for those who are seeking a luxury home that takes generous prewar living spaces and adds top-of-the-line finishes and fixtures.
