We were recommended this place at a local restaurant we dined at one night in Venice as I asked for another great restaurant. Then, for drinks and dinner the next day for dinner, we went straight to do Spade.

The place gets crowded and fills the street with people having aperitivos which creates a cool vibe. A good mix of locals and tourists, which is hard to find in Venice given most of the places are filled with tourists only.

Great chiccetti, friendly service and lastly great food and tiramisu. Special thanks to Stefano who went above and beyond to help us get a table!!

Do Spade was definitely one of the highlights of our Venice trip!
Definitely NOT a tourist trap! The feeling of standing at the bar with a glass of house wine and letting them serve you all the different tapa style options is just great! Go there any time of the day!

Malaysian reviews. Came here for a slight break from italian main course. Only came here for the snack, for dinner would required reservations its always packed. The snack areas is separated from dinner area. The snack we took which has the prawn is awesome. Ombra red wine is nice too. Pumpkin and the vege is also nice.

Excellent lunch at what feels like a hidden gem in Venice. Known for their seafood, they live up to the hype. Got the squid ink pasta and fried calamari. Both were outstanding and had so much flavor for such simple dishes. Outstanding lunch.

Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try when you are near the Venice Mestre train station. Very delicious food which exceeded our expectations. Even the included bread was served warm and seemed to be baked fresh. The lady who I think is the owner is very nice and friendly who provided impeccable service with a smile. We were only visiting, but if given a chance to visit Venice again, we would definitely go back to eat at this cozy restaurant.
Excellent cicchetti. I had the stuffed cuttlefish which was delicious but I would have liked it cooked a bit more. The polenta was perfect. Lovely wines. Reasonably priced and you’re in a historic osteria dating back to 1488.
We came here on our first day in Mestre for dinner. The food was delicious, the staff is amazingly friendly. A cozy place where you can get the authentic italian experience. Highly recommend!

A place to not be missed in Venezia. The menu offers a selection of Venetian dishes that didn’t disappoint any of us. Go there for their good products, well worked by their chef.
I went for the seafood ragout gnocchis and a tiramisu for the dessert. I strongly recommend.

Hard to find but definitely worth checking out.

Reasonably priced with seriously good food. Staff were great and wines were genuinely delightful.

Would love to come again

Not your typical restaurant, it's like walking into someone's house, a collectors house or maybe a gallery. The lady who serves (which I believe is the owner) is that nice "neighbour" who welcomes you into the "house".

The restaurant showcase 500+ snow globes, plenty of paintings, and a 60s vibe. It's really a hidden gem! Food is delicious yet, reasonably priced! If you don't know what to get, ask the lady to give you suggestion. Both the main and dessert she suggested was amazing!
The sweet and sour sardine for appetizers are amazing when eaten with bread. A little easy to miss the shop entrance so keep your eyes opened. A little pricey but I think it's worth to try.
Amazing food. Bring translation software if you don't speak Italian because they do not have English menus. They have a limited number of dishes on the menu every day (that they do very well) so prepare for that if you have food issues.

For pure case, I had lunch and supper here on the same day. And I can confirm that both meals were pretty tasty! At lunch, I had bigoli in salsa. They were really really good. The waiter who looked after us was very friendly. I can't say anything about the price because (lucky me) in both cases my meal was offered. The people who invited me, keep coming here every time they are around. I can see why they do it!
Enjoy!
Quiet, calm atmosphere. The seafood is amazing here! The staff was also very kind, helpful, and fast. Definitely recommend
This restaurant was very cute. I love a rustic atmosphere and the interiors were very cute and cozy. My friend and I had a great evening here and would go back again. The staff were very nice and friendly and we had great conversations with them. Would recommend to anyone in Venice

If you enjoy watching grass grow while waiting for the cows to come home, this is the place for you. Average unremarkable but expensive food in small portions coupled with unimaginably slow and horrible service. The main course arrived mostly cold, lukewarm at best. Never once did our waiter come to check in on us or to refill our drinks, and they blatantly ignored us when we tried to get their attention to pay. The ambience outside was awful with next to no lighting after dark, not to mention awkward with people waiting for a table standing way too close, staring at you and listening in to your conversation. Worst experience by far at any restaurant, compelling us to leave a review for the first time. In hindsight, we should have read the reviews more thoroughly instead of just looking at the overinflated star rating; there was even a case of food poisoning four months ago. AVOID or dine at your own risk…
At Ristorante Ai Barbacani, the exquisite cuisine blends traditional Italian flavors with modern flair, creating a culinary experience that delights the senses. The intimate and charming atmosphere, with its rustic decor and warm lighting, invites diners to relax and savor every bite. It's a true gem in the heart of Venice.
Amazing experience and delicious food. Certainly will come back during my next trip to Venice. Highly recommend this gastronomical pearl to everyone

I first discovered Al Covo when I was in Venice for the Biennale in 2022 but could never snag a reservation. This year, I booked a table a few months ago and LOVED my dinner there this week. The location is wonderful (very near Hotel Metropole in the Castello area) and the service is fabulous. Everything was delicious but THE highlight for me were the squash blossoms.

Visiting Al Covo was one of the main stops in Venice, having planned it well ahead of time. The restaurant is gorgeous inside and out. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful in making food and wine selections. Presentation was nothing short of artistic and the taste was even greater. So glad we were able to visit!
Went randomly. Overall pretty nice, feels like you are at someone's place, rather than a restaurant.
Interesting interior, a parrot and a dog were chilling. Huge collection of snow globes, never seen that many in one place, also lots of pictures.
Great staff, locals were also present, which is a good sign.
The food was ok, but what I really didnt appreciate that both coperto and service were included in the bill which totaled 16,5% of the bill. I almost felt like i am in the US!

The lady serving was really nice and friendly, but that's about it.
Lasagne was not good and there whole place smelt like a tub of aquarium food which was overwhelming and stuck with me for a day or two.
There was a load of art dotted about, which turned out to be for sale which was interesting, as was the parrot and 2 dogs sleeping in the corner!
nice little restaurant in a quiet area of Venice. The salad could use a bit more tomatoes, we really enjoyed the dishe with eggs and asparagus.

I made a dinner reservation a couple of weeks in advance of our trip to Venice. We had a lovely table out back looking over the grand canal. The food was elegant, well presented and delicious - the quality of ingredients really shone through. It was by far our favourite meal on our trip.
Whilst this place is a popular spot for cicchetti and social drinks, I highly recommend making a dinner reservation for a more cultured experience. We look forward to dining here again when we return to Venice.
Restaurant is really cozy, seated us quickly (we had reservations) and has a beautiful romantic table for 2 outside on the canal (we saw a proposal there!). The food was all consistently good. There were other restaurants on our trip that knocked our socks off a little more than this one, but Ai Barbacani is still a fantastic dinner option in Venice.
We booked a table two days in advance and glad we did as it was quite busy outside of the restaurant with people waiting. The service was impeccable even though we could only speak English. The food was mouth-wateringly delicious with many different combinations that you wouldn't normally find at other establishments. I would highly recommend a visit should you find yourself in Venice and wanting a high-class meal.

Outstanding food meets outstanding service in this traditional Venetian restaurant that feels like home.
Our crudo was incredibly fresh, the crab pasta melted in your mouth and the sole was perfectly cooked.
Our best culinary experience in the city by a mile.

I visited here 8 years ago and still talk about it. The pasta al andri was phenomenal!
Came here for dinner at around 8:30pm on a weekday, it was situated on a quiet street and the restaurant was not too crowded either. We ordered 2 pastas and one main and the portions were huge. Lasagna did not look that appetising but the taste was great, we were definitely not disappointed by the food. Everything tasted very homely. Staff were really friendly too. The complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal was a nice touch.

Total bill came up to be about 90€ which was not that cheap but because it’s Venice and the portions of the dishes were huge I guess it’s acceptable.
Beautiful place to hangout, have a snack, food from restaurant or tapas from bar 🍻 fits for everyone taste ☺️😊

Guests are greeted with a welcoming, complimentary glass of Spumante – sparkling wine, with a petite appetizer! Cozy, inviting atmosphere! One intimate table on the side of the canal offers a charming, romantic view! Very delicious Trofie al Pesto, Orata o Branzino alla Griglia – Grilled sea bream or sea bass, Tiramisu, and Limoncello – lemon liqueur! Friendly, attentive staff! A delightful restaurant to relax in the Venetian ambience!

Service was great. Seafood spaghetti was amazing, but fusilli not ideal. Atmosphere does not match the price.
We needed some protein on our souls lol but our options were limited. So we got the meatballs which are served with polenta and the fried fish. We also had the house tiramisu, overall a good experience.
Looks amazing
Great buzz
Food looked amazing but unfortunately needs flavour.
Our tuna tartare was just raw tuna no capers or anything to provide flavour.
The tuna main, again needed flavour.
Our seafood pasta was just seafood and pasta even salt and pepper was needed.
Shame

DO NOT visit this restaurant unless you would like to destroy your weekend night.

We entered the restaurant, all the waiters ignored us. We asked for availability, the waiter just said “nothing at the moment”, then walked away. That’s it.

But we still ordered meat balls and stand by the bar. One of the waiter took away our plate without asking, and he throw the plate back onto the unused plates, because it looks “clean”.
It’s not clean, bro.

By the way, the meat balls are just “meat ball”, nothing special.
We were glad to have made reservations because it was packed even on a Wednesday night at at 19:30. The food was delicious with large servings for a very reasonable price. There wasn’t a single dish we didn’t like. For antipasti we got the meatballs which had a lovely garlicky flavour and crispy outer shell while the polenta with baccalà monticato was very creamy perfect combination. The atmosphere was also very pleasant with no loud unpleasant music and just cozy we could hear each other talk. Very fast service and friendly staff. Strongly recommend.

Their reviews are well deserved. We arrived at around 7:30 and the entire place was packed. A line out the door. But I went in and asked if there was a table available for 6. They said they had one reserved but if we wanted to we could sit immediately and eat as long as we left by 8:30 when their reservation came. Which was so kind of them and we were sat right away, all six of us. The server was prompt and tried to explain things to us in English even though he spoke only Italian and Spanish. We ordered and the food came very quickly. Everything was delicious and beautiful. He kept refilling our bread which was nice. The half carafe of wine was enough for three glasses and was only 10 euro. The food was a perfect portion size, we ordered four entrees and it was enough for all six of us. The meatballs were incredibly. The pastas were perfect. And the service was very fast and accommodating. Please excuse the state of the food in the photos, we had already started eating it was so good.
This the greatest restaurant in Italy during my two weeks travel Italy. Everything in the restaurant was awesome. We will come back if we visit Venice next time!!
We booked the table for 2 on the canal. What a beautiful experience for my wife and I. The service is great and very attentive to you. It felt very intimate (besides people walking by and staring or taking pics lol). Would recommend if you wanted to splurge a little. Food and drinks were good.

The food was simply delicious- tasty and a good selection even for my little fussy eater.
The service was so friendly and helpful- it was a wonderful way to end our wonderful holiday in Venice.
The food was fine, but was grossly overpriced for what it was. We stood at the bar and had snacks - two meatballs, two small plates of vegetables, three cicchetti. We ordered sparkling water, and rather than getting the bottle, he opened the bottle and poured two tiny glasses of it. And that was 43 euros. Unless you want to sit down and have an expensive meal, go somewhere else.

I had heard a lot about Al Covo and really wanted to try it. I was able to get a reservation for lunch a month in advance. The service was very friendly and helpful. The staff explained the dishes and gave good recommendations about portion sizes. The fried zucchini flowers were among the best I’ve had in Italy. We also got the traditional deep-fried medly of Adriatic fish and shell fish consisting of various types of seafood. The flavours and texture were excellent. The reputation here is well earned and I’m glad I was able to try Al Covo.

We were in Venice for two days. Day 2, decided to do a ferry trip round the islands. As we felt hungry, googled some nice seafood place and stumbled upon this Italian fish and seafood restaurant. Did not have a booking but somehow, we were accommodated to a table for 2. Pleasantly surprised by the clams pasta, which I will definitely recommend! Loved the ambient atmosphere and the Murano glassware that were used to serve drinks!
Quaint little restaurant off the beaten path that was absolutely amazing! Food was fresh and made with love! We didn't have a bad dish!

We reserved the canal view dining table. It was fantastic. Our waitress took photos of us from the bridge, which, along with the delicious food, wine and views made it a perfect dining experience. All of the wait staff there were very courteous. The shrimp orzo and lobster pasta are delicious.

Just great taste, great people and great place. Frito misto and pasta Andri delicious.
This canal side restaurant deserves its 5 star rating, the food was some of the best we had in our two weeks in Italy. We were pleasantly surprised given that restaurants with a view are often a let down - but not this one! Highly recommend the clam spaghetti.

Some Friends ask me join here, spending afternoon with canal view.

The Place has two sides, but I sit in front of the canal. The second floor only open in winter time.

It is reccommended for Group, “COUPLE”, Family and Chit-Chat here.

The Staffs are good enough handling 5 of us, who came partially. They offer a good snack and wine.

I really like being here and I reccommend this lovely place. Gratzie.

Lasagna was yummy. The lamb chops were absolutely delicious and the one thing you must get! Every bite was heavenly. I was so happy.

Sea bass was also cooked very well. Zucchini flower was tasty, but not particular special. Gnocchi was good too, but my favorite. Oysters were fine, but not worth getting here especially for the price

Overall had an amazing dinner. Highly highly recommend! Try to make a reservation as they get full.

I’d highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice dinner by the water in Venice. My boyfriend got the steak dish, and I got the gazpacho with smoked scallops, we also got a cheese board and tiramisu we both shared! This is one of our favorite meals in Italy thus far (been here a week). We only waited around 10 minutes for a table, but I’d recommend reservations if you know you’re coming during a busy season. The atmosphere, service, and food were amazing and I’d highly recommend for a couple.

Everything about this place was wonderful. My family and I went for lunch. We sat outside which was nicely arranged with amble space. The aperol sprtiz were a great start. I got the pesto lasagna and my partner got the duck ragu. We also had in our group the brazzino, the cuddle fish, and the mackerel. All we’re delicious and very fresh. The wait staff were extremely friendly, spoke English and seemed to enjoy what they did. Highly recommend!

This place is a hidden gem within the touristy restaurants of Venice. My husband and I always ask the hotels we go to about restaurants. They gave us 4 and this one was the 3rd one we looked out for because the first 2 were closed, and we are both glad that we had ended up at this restaurant.
It is on a much smaller street away from the busy plazas so it is more of a quiet atmosphere. We were lucky to sit outside as our hotel had made a reservation for us and many people coming by we’re either given the option of inside only or turned away. The servers were friendly and attentive. The house white is also definitely worth it.
In terms of food, we started with a caprese salad which we split and all of the ingredients tasted so fresh. Also the balsamic was amazing, I could have drank it, but used the bread to soak up all of the extra on my plate. I got the spaghetti alle seppie (squid ink pasta with calamari) and my husband got the sea bass (branzini). I could not finish my portion after the caprese and bread and passed it over to my husband. For dessert, we decided to mix it up from all of the tiramisu we have had on this trip and tried the amaretto mousse. It was definitely worth it (sorry there is a cookie missing from the picture because I got ahead of myself). They also gave us complementary limoncello shots in a dark chocolate cup.
Everything was very good.
Service was great, la donna serving us was smiling and had a great attitude.
Atmosphere was nice, felt very welcomed and cosy.
They can serve wine at glass, they told me.
Yes, it took a bit more than expected to have the food, but nothing flagrant. Food was very good and pana cotta was ok, nothing special.
Overall, very pleased by this experience.

It’s a trap! One of those rip offs in Venice.
Bad food, bad service for a high price.
We ordered the squid ink pasta and the squid in garlic and onions. Also polpetti as a starter. Everything was salty, the starter arrived after the main dishes. The waiter forgot the beverages. A disaster.
Do not go here!
This was such a wonderful experience the food was spectacular hand crafted with love the service was impeccable and the wine from the owners own vineyard was so delicious took a bottle home. Sitting in a quieter area just off the rialto bridge with of view of the canal was peaceful truly a 10 out of 10 AMAZING AMAZING! Wish I could shop the whole place back to London!

Beautifully prepared dishes that taste amazing. Enjoyed a dinner of black ravioli with cod filling. The menu offers a great selection of traditional Italian courses, the restaurant outside and inside is very welcoming and staff was very friendly. Prices are on the high side.
Food is very tasty!! I specially love the fish ravioli; beef tartar is a bit too moist, could have not mixed in with the runny egg; and fried zucchini flower is somewhat new and interesting.

We recently stayed in Venice for 5 nights, and decided to take a ferry to Lido on a spur of moment to get away from crowds and enjoy the beaches. Upon googling for a nice restaurant on the island, ended up at Trattoria Andri without a booking. The staff were very accomodating, was able to arrange a table. The food was fantastic, particularly the fish selection. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up going there for 3 nights during our visit! Can’t recommend this gem of a restaurant high enough!

Al Covo was given a top recommendation by some friends I trust. I was planning to visit Venice and made an Al Covo visit a priority for my party during our two night stay. Unfortunately, we did not have the experience we had hoped for. While the atmosphere was nice (we ate on the patio on a warm evening), the food was good, but not exceptional. Service was very uneven throughout as well. To elaborate, the menu suggested more classic, simple preparations and that is what we received. However, only one or two of the dishes (from appetizers to entrees to sides) ordered amongst eight of us jumped out as outstanding. One that did jump out was the seasonal squash blossoms stuffed with ricotta -- the fresh flavors of the squash blossoms coupled with the cheese came through very well. They were cooked delicately and very well. The other dish that was simple and tasty was their tagliolini with spider crab and roe. Again, simple dish with great ingredients and good flavors! Other dishes we had included a tuna carpaccio special, their prawns catch of the day, a swordfish catch of the day, Adriatic sole with artichokes, and a fresh vegetable side (zucchini, potatoes, peppers). These dishes were unfortunately "mid" (just okay) and less than memorable for a five-star restaurant with Michelin recognition. The prices of the dishes were as-expected for a high-end restaurant with a solid reputation -- the value just wasn't close to there for us this night.
On the service side, we had one outstanding server who was charming, witty and attentive and another (sommelier?) who provided wine list guidance that did not have the same approach and seemed to do the bare minimum. I asked for a good local white wine to pair with a couple of the dishes we ordered (tagliolini with spider crab, Adriatic sole and prawns special). I was immediately offered a Soave from the list -- interestingly, it was the lowest-priced offer from their white wine list. Interested in something that might be a step or two up in quality, I asked about the more mid-priced wines on his list. He offered the next Soave (same label) and wasn't really willing to talk about the higher priced varietals on his list or ask any questions about what I drink or like to drink -- really odd for a sommelier. I ended up getting a single vineyard wine from the same vintner as the one he originally recommended. Unfortunately, that wine was not very good -- I would have preferred to spend 2x as much to get a better wine. It was also odd to us that our silver was not changed between courses. Our server took our clearly used silver from our appetizer plates and placed them back on our settings. Not the biggest deal, but not what I’d expect from a high-end place like this. Lastly, we made specific reference to food allergies in our party as requested at the time of our reservation. Our servers had no knowledge of this and were accommodating to these by pointing out the allergen notes in the menu (very well done), but we were told we had to stick to what worked in the menu -- no further accommodations could be made by the kitchen. This ended up being very limiting to the member of our party who had dairy, nuts and shellfish allergies.
I wanted to cast this off to a bad day for the restaurant, but our sample size was pretty large and we had a far superior dining experience elsewhere in Venice for far less than the cost of Al Covo. I know others have had better experiences, but I will prefer to explore the many other great places in Venice before considering coming back.
Food was outstanding - the lemon prawn risotto was cooked and seasoned beautifully. The outdoor dining area is quiet and intimate. The price to portion size is close to a higher end dining experience - so if you’re looking for lots of food, might not be the place for you. If however you’re in the area and looking for a higher class meal. I highly recommend Casa Fortuna. Cheers!

We enjoyed our dinner at Trattoria Andri. My dorade (actually two dorades) was fabulously delicious as was the seafood salad appetizer. My wife enjoyed her fish ravioli and her caprese appetizer. The service was attentive and thoughtful. The only issue was getting a reservation. We went there the day before and made our reservation in person. Lovely outdoor seating.

We ate really well at Cà D'oro and were greeted by very friendly staff. We were quickly seated (we went in before 7pm) and were quickly served. We tried the polpette on the recommendation of the server (a northern Italy specialty) and really enjoyed it! I got the vegetarian lasagna and it had to be one of the best one I ever had! The portion was small, but with a mind to go get ice cream as desert, I didn't mind! (Also keep in mind that Italian dining can easily compromise of several dishes, it is not abnormal to get smaller portions). Anyway, I highly recommend this restaurant! We had a very nice time there for our last night in Venice

Tucked away from the busy main square San Marco, this fine trattoria offers dishes to really indulge in. Be it the superb pasta dishes - the lasagne is some of the best I tried or the tasty fish and meat courses really make this worth a visit. The wine list offers excellent choices and the really friendly staff ensures you will make the right choice for your meal! Table outside is worth the wait! Will be back

This place was recommended to me by my dearest Italian sister/best friend, Marta, and we couldn’t have been happier about the recommendation!

Isabella, the owner, was warm and welcoming and all of the dishes served here were as delicious as they were delightful. Highly recommend the zucchini flowers as a starter and you really cannot go wrong with any of the first or second dishes. We enjoyed every single bit of our meal! This place leaves you feeling just at home and makes your family feeling bigger than it is.

Thank you Isabella! We hope to see you again soon!

We had our best meal at Al Covo during our two weeks trip to northern Italy. We ate at highly recommended restaurants by locals and couple Michelin stars restaurants in Venice, just FYI most of these popular restaurants Michelin or not we had to make reservations a month in advance, and there was one restaurant I couldn’t make a reservation even though I booked 5 weeks in advance... Anyway, our meal at Al Covo is the most delicious and our most favorite. It’s easy to tell from every bite that they really take the time to prepare each dish on their menu, my mom didn’t talk to me much the whole meal because she was so busy savoring her food, we literally licked our fingers.

While menu is on the expensive side, you should know that we prefer bigger lunch and liter dinner, so that’s one of the main reasons why we spent over 100 euro per person for lunch. I easily pay more than double the price for meals in terms of the culinary value, service and dining experience in NYC so I consider it a great meal and would highly recommend Al Covo.
Absolutely excellent in every way and the staff service with the food was incredible one our highlights on our visit get the pastas and definitely the steak if they have it

Delightful restaurant and very hospitable service. Family run business with a focus on doing a smaller menu very well. We fell across this restaurant on our walk around the area. To start the chef gave us a complimentary arancini style ball with homemade tomato sauce and we ordered the fried stuffed zucchini flower and fried artichoke with homemade mayonnaise dip. For mains we had homemade lasagna and the fettuccine with shrimp, cherry tomato and artichoke special. To finish off we had a tiramisu to share. We really enjoyed our meal and would recommend booking if you want to visit.

UPDATE: I've seen a few other people who wrote low reviews mention that price was an issue for them because they didn't know how expensive it would be or whatever. I have to say that it's pretty ludicrous, given that the restaurant has all the prices outlined on their menus outside of the restaurant and even with drinks and specials, as a customer if price is of concern all you have to do is ask for the price and then make a decision. Simple as that. We think this meal was worth every euro we spent on it.

We wanted seafood and this was recommended by our local accommodation host.
For mains, we order the grilled bass and the grilled sea bream. The price did not justify the quality, seasoning and the portion size of these two dishes.
+ The €2,5/p cover charge and 10% service fee was not deserved.

Fantastic sea food. Fresh and delicious. Super friendly service. Ask for catch of the day and daily specials.

We were overwhelmed with kindness from the moment we entered the restaurant. The owners and staff were incredible and so was the interior and the atmosphere.
The sourdough bread alone could’ve made me happy, it was warm, soft inside and crisp outside, beautifully leavened.
The dishes were so creative and tasted as phenomenal as they looked.
This is a place where food is more than just filling one’s stomach, it brings people together, fills them with joy and leaves them in awe.
Great place for very nice dinner. We had eight in our party and the staff were awesome. Accommodated food allergies, helped navigate the menu and wines. Just perfect for our first night in Venice. Do not pass this place up. Tiramisu was perfect. And get the cheese plate.
Lovely busy place with great food, we came in without reservation but still they served us, very helpful staff.
Impeccable service and very good quality seafood & fish! I was really impressed by the value for price as I had expected similar quality of food/ service to be way more expensive in Venice. I had pasta with lobster ragout followed by grilled monkfish, both with very well chosen wine pairing (as suggested by the waiter). Can definitely recommend!
Nice place to drink and eat in the evening.
Mostly visited by locals.
During lunchtime, there are prepared snacks. The restaurant opens at 7PM.
There is a large variety of wines with prices between 2 and 4 euro each glass.
Go here if you want to experience the local Italian spirit!

You wouldn’t believe that this is “lasagna”, unfortunately I’m a visual eater and I had to send this food back. I left and only paid for my coke. I’m not sure if I can say it was nice or not, but I did not attempt to even taste. It’s a big no from me. I did want to order more food but the chef said the kitchen was closed for me. The waitress was extremely pleasant and nice, only positive is the nice bread and butter.

Although, I got there early it had this strange smell I could not bear, smelt like

Together with my wife we were looking for a relaxing local dinner. Our expectations were by far exceeded! Lovely and kind service, very tasty food, and beautiful décor. We felt like we were sitting in a Nonna's dining room being served a great home cooked meal. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Great atmosphere and delicious food! Very cheap for quality of food! Waitress was very friendly as well. Over all 10/10 highly recommend this place!
It was a great experience - the service was outstanding, the food; delicious and the presentation; exquisite. I would definitely recommend this place for fresh fish and seafood. Moreover, they have a very special crab which is apparently only found in Venice and can be eaten whole. I would also encourage you to order the Turbot which tastes also great.

Lovely pasta dinner and great service

We got a quick and friendly treatment by the daughter of the owner. Inside it's light and quite big but with that also somewhat noisy. We choose a table outside. We where there early, around eight and the restaurant was almost full when we left. We ordered three different pasta dishes and all came out same time. Very well made and lovely taste. The cheesecake for dessert was to dry and sweet for our taste. Got some nice grappa as an bonus.

A lot of the restaurants around this area was closed since it was close to 3pm so we headed to this boisterous tavern based on the reviews and we were glad that we did! Although we couldn't understand what was written on the menu, we randomly pointed to 2 items and they turned out to be absolutely yummy. As it turns out, we had salmon pasta and tuna with roasted potatoes. Delicious! (:
Best cuttlefish in black ink I've ever had in my life. Even beats Croatia, which is really rare. The oysters were fresh and as it is a wine bar, the selection of wine and local beer is very good. Too bad I didn't get to try any of their home made desserts.
