When they didn't have the ingredients to make the drink I ordered, the bartender made something similar, and it was excellent. Thanks, Brendan! The view was also amazing, and we're already excited to visit here when we come back to DC.

Such a great place. I took my father for Labor Day and it was magnificent, tho I really recommend booking a table in advance however the view is astonishing you get to see the White House and the monument at the same time. It is a must visit rooftop. Personally one of the best if not the best. Looking forward for next time

This restaurant was perfect for a night of fine dining and a show! The atmosphere was perfect for my group. My group had sushi, lobster bisque, beet salad to start. We also had the crab cakes, filet mignon, Oscar style, and Chilean sea bass. Sushi was fresh and delicious. The food was exceptional. Even at these prices $$$$ and the fantastic service (Thank you Steven), We will be back.

This was my first time to this spot. I personally like the atmosphere. It wasn't packed. I will assume because of when I came. The service was a little slow to begin with. I don't think the server realized that I was there. Once we were served, everything was smooth. The food and drinks were very enjoyable.
Our second visit to the Graham and this time rather than enjoy the speakeasy, we decided to check out the rooftop bar and it did not disappoint! Fantastic views, a wonderful breeze on a warm summer night and a relaxed vibe made for a great place to enjoy a nightcap after a busy day!

Darrell was amazing and the best bartender you could ask for. Great conversation, made us feel welcomed and special, and went above and beyond to makeup for them not having table service due to callouts. At $25 a cocktail and more, we missed the touch of table service and the respect the space deserves being on top of a 5 star hotel. The hostess was also accommodating and overall we enjoyed our time and would return just to see D!
if I could give the food -1000 stars I would. great atmosphere and the drinks are fine but highly overpriced

Cool place for enjoying your Friday evening. Better than a night club.

It got a nice view, awesome bar and cool music.

Drinks might be price but view will justify the price.

You won't regret the decision.
The view is simply beautiful! The appetizers were terrible! And they brought me hot wine. It wasn't even room temperature.

Great atmosphere and view from above! I enjoyed a salad and dessert! I loved that I could just go upstairs and catch a bite to eat without leaving my hotel location.
On a good note, as they weren't crowded at all, (there were only 3 to 4 people there when we arrived & no one else came in while we were there), we were able to get a table with a view. But, the service was unnecessarily slow, especially because, as I said, no one was there, so the staff was just standing around most of the time & one even sat down at a table for a few minutes while we waited for the server to come back & get our drink order although she did greet us promptly with water.

I can't even remember the name of the cocktail I ordered as it wasn't very good.

The menu was limited, so we only had nacho chips with guacamole as we couldn't find an entree we both liked to share, except for the $55 steak, which we thought was rather pricey & not ideal for sharing.

The rooftop lounge across the street looked more upscale, so we left & went there.

We were here for an hour & a half from start to finish even though we decided to go to the place across the street before our guacamole came & our bill was over $40. for my cocktail, an appetizer, & the tip.
The atmosphere is why you come to Ciel Social Club. It's beautiful inside and outside. Though, outside was smaller than I expected, it was decorated and had nice views of the Capital and we saw the sun setting. Tre was our waiter and we got food & drink recs from him. Drinks were good, the food was OK. Service was great for us.

My people! It was my first time visiting, and I loved the views. The vibe and the decore was top notch. The kitchen was closed, so we have to go back again and try a few items. The drinks were good and the service was excellent!
I love this place. Majority of places’ happy hour is until 6, but they have happy hour until 7. And half-off imported beer as well not only domestic!!! Atmosphere & view is fabulous. Additionally, our bartender Jade is amazing. She is so fun to talk and treat us very friendly. Want to come back again!

It wasn't the best experience because of two issues, but I think it could be easily above four stars if they take care of the two correctable issues. First, we were there to celebrate a birthday. All the food that came out was great except one 10oz filet. It came out rare instead of medium rare, and when I say rare I mean, looking like tuna. They tried to re-fire it, but they couldn't get it right the second time. However, the ribeye, the special halibut, the truffle devil eggs, the shrimp cocktail, and even the mocktails and old fashioned were all what you expected when eating at a place like Ocean Prime. Pretty Damn Good. #meatthermometer

The second issue was the passive aggressive server. Very attentive, very nice, but far too concerned about his tip and let you know it. Ordering our food, everything he was trying to upsale to what we would order. At the point I cancelled the steak because it wasn't going to come out in time, I called 86. At least three times the server kept telling me how the management had deducted things off the final check and to help out him and his co-workers. It just got to the point where I thought about asking him how much money you want me to leave?

I will say this, the management was very apologetic. They comped the drinks, gave $100 gift card, and served a desert on a personalized platter. At the end of the day, I would go back to give them a second try. The food overall was great, the atmosphere was great, and there is always another server. I appreciate the way management handled everything.

It was my first time there and that day they were out of everything I wanted including the lemon pepper wings. The drink I was able to get was real good and the mozzarella sticks were different but good. I would have to go back a second time to really give a proper review. Oh and the view is amazing!

View is fine, drinks are overpriced, and service is horrendous. We had to go to the counter to pay our check and the person in charge called my friend who was paying an expletive. Very unprofessional.

The elevator going up to the bar is also incredibly slow. Too crowded and food smell overpowers the entire bar you leave smelling like frying oil. One star for the view.
I came here to photograph a surprise proposal and had such a great time. The venue itself is beautiful. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. The vibe of the whole place was so positive. It was a pleasure to be there.

Absolutely 💯 loved this resteraunt, and our waitress was so awesome too. The food was very good and seasoned well 😀. I felt the bill was average for the level of quality for the food and atmosphere. I will definitely come again. I enjoyed the experience. The prime rib was great, too.
Valet was $26.00, which is unusual to me 🙃 that was the only negative. We paid it and all went well. I would have given the resteraunt 5 stars if valet parking was more average priced. 🤔
Drinks are good and I love the couches. The view is pretty good for DC. I got the nopale's tacos and they were amazing. Probably the best corn tortillas I've gotten I'm the DMV area.

It's inside the AC Marriott hotel Penthouse floor. Park lot across is paid and closes early. Ride the elevator to the top floor have your ID ready and reservation is highly recommended.
The service is amazing Alyssa was awesome. The drinks are cute and I did not taste or feel the alcohol after a few drinks. Be aware of the gratuity is included and this is not an inexpensive place. Appetizers, drinks and , entree will run you about $200...not a first date place unless you want to pay $$$$. Cool vibe for pictures for sure. Unisex bathrooms.

Unbeatable views of DC, gorgeous sunsets. The drinks are good and the food is ok, the appetizers we got were overly salty to my taste. The service is very friendly though. The hotel offers $25 valet parking and the staff will direct you to the rooftop elevators.

A great rooftop that overlooks the side of the White House with a great view of the skyline and some monuments.

I ordered the Octopus Roll, although unassuming in my picture, it was great. Perfectly cooked and well seasoned.

My friends ordered a vegetarian burger option and the regular burger option, both were large and looked great. Quick and easy to order drinks from the bar while sitting at the rail.

You’re essentially paying for the view. The vibes were also great, good music on a Saturday night. The drinks were good but pretty overpriced ($25) for every cocktail, the fries and burger were good as well but nothing special. I would go back just for the vibes and view.
I don’t have a membership, but my wife does, so I’m a frequent visitor. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious and the pool is great! It’s a great place to unwind and just have a tiny vacation from life or as I’ve seen a few people do, work from the pool!

Still one of the last truly elegant restaurants downtown. Ocean Prime will continue to be a classic staple for those looking for an elevated dining experience. Unlike some of the other Seafood staples downtown, this restaurant has maintained it’s beauty in delivering exceptional experiences for the Luxury diner. Everything is whimsical and continues to be amazing. From the host team to the wait team all the way to the chef and bartenders -kudos. I wish Google would allow video because I would share this amazing bubbly, champagne drink that I just could not get enough of! (Pictured is the calamari and the shrimp appetizers)
Definitely gonna be pricey for food especially. Would only go there for the drinks. The one bartender Amber gives great service though always with a smile. Will definitely be back (again only for drinks)

Overly expensive. I paid $66 for 2 drinks. But the view is amazing so probably worth it. You can see the Monument and Georgetown waterfront. I recommend going during sunset so you can enjoy the beautiful sky, and after that you will enjoy the evening views. Last time I went I saw one of the most beautiful moons I’ve seen - huge and red and was just next to the Monument. Priceless view.

The drinks were great, kudos to the Bartenders. However, the service (beyond the bar) was not the best I've ever had. The bar bites were average. Visit for the views...
I went to over under last night and had a great time. The service was amazing and the drinks were good. Amber was our bartender and her skills, combined with her friendly nature, create an enjoyable and memorable experience.

I’ve wanted to try this restaurant for some time because of their carrot cake but I was pleasantly surprised I enjoyed my food experience. First, staff were awesome and attentive. It’s great for date night, birthdays, solo date, family dinner, etc. They have valet parking and street parking. You’re seated a little to close to other tables depending on where you are in the restaurant but that’s my opinion. It’s an intimate dining experience. We started with Deviled Eggs that were topped with caviar and truffles. They were underwhelming. It’s heavy on the truffle flavor but lacks any additional seasoning. And if caviar scares you, I couldn’t taste it. They put an extra small amount on each deviled egg. I tried the South African lobster tail stuffed with crab meat. The lobster was cooked well. Great texture. The crab meat didn’t add anything to the experience. The Chilean Sea Bass was yummy as well. Cooked well and flavorful. Their Roasted Brussel Sprouts were some of the best I’ve had. It had a lemon flavor and well seasoned. They were tender but a slight crunch.
Their Ten Layer Carrot Cake was delicious as well! It was a perfect balance of cake and icing. Not to sweet for me. It tasted like gingerbread and carrot cake mixed in one. My cocktail was the BERRIES & BUBBLES. Heavy on the bubbles. It was a light and sweet drink and not an overwhelming taste of alcohol.

Food was alright for the offered price and experience. Service is a hit or miss depending on what kind of server you get, and the host did not seem to be in a good mood either when we walked in last Friday afternoon, between lunch and dinner hours. It wasn’t too busy at all so food came out quickly.

Keep in mind that although food and portions are the same for both lunch & dinner menus, price differs for some dishes (is that even common nowadays in high-end restaurants?).

In terms of food itself, we really liked the Tuna Tartar and Poke Bowl, yet the risotto was average in comparison to what we tried in other places.

My first time at Whiskey Charlie on the Wharf. Chill ambiance and music is hip hop which fits. I don’t understand the giant projector screen showing a sports game as your a whiskey specialty drink bar not a sports bar so it clashes with the decor and identity. I expected a more jazz like feel but it still works. Though the space is small if it was crowded it still works. The menu options are few so it’s definitely a spot for a cocktail and something small to go with so if you’re looking for a bigger meal this wouldn’t be my recommendation. Definitely good if you’re looking for an after dinner or just an evening out to have a drink. My servers name was Jordan and he was very friendly, professional, and attentive. I think staff probably could benefit on knowledge of whiskeys, Rums, etc etc as your charging anywhere from 18-50 plus dollars a drink so if your attempting to educate a customer on whiskey and get a higher potential sale or create an experience that may lead the customer to chose a more expensive option then having well trained staff helps add to the experience and may lead the customer to purchasing something based off your recommendation (just from a sales background). The big belly dish was good could’ve been great but the bread/roll on it was dry and was shaped like taco but broke apart (making it messy/clumsy). Overall presentation of food and drink was good. I chose an old fashioned and it was the best part of the evening especially since it wasn’t filled with ice cubes and an orange slice lol as many places do. You pay for the experience just like everywhere in DC. I would’ve gave it 5 stars but the changes their menu recently and maybe they will add an additional item or two i.e. the chicken wings. The other reason it gets 4 stars is their patio is closed until further notice when really I feel is the best part of this place since it looks out on the Potomac. You can apparently sit out on the pool deck which I have not done, but for now 4 stars and maybe if/when I return 5. There is definitely room for improvement and if your providing high end spirits and cocktails be able to explain/sell them/add to the experience. Overall it’s worth a visit even if it’s just for a cocktail before or after dinner.

As it advertises… it’s a swanky downtown hotel with some cool modern visual touches and cool rooftop view.

The Vue, the rooftop restaurant/bar is very sweet. View of the White House and a very cool view of the Washington Monument.

Staff seem cool which was nice they weren't stuck up like some fancy places downtown.

It's something to checkout... if you're in the area... bring your entire pay check for a few beers and appetizer. If your staying at the hotel you already know that going in.

The devil eggs were ok, nothing jaw dropping. Anyway it's a decent stop if your doing the tour thing.
Beautiful place, great food, not so great service. We came here on recommendation and I’m not sure if it was an off night but I wasn’t impressed. The location and the look are very nice. I absolutely love the aesthetic. The men who work valet are so nice and amazing at their job. HUGE props to them for helping with parking. I thought I was going to miss my reservation but they made sure that didn’t happen. We got to the rooftop and were immediately greeted by the lovely hostess and she brought us to our table. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there. Our server came over ONCE to take our drink order and then we never saw her again. We had to keep getting the attention of the other servers so we could order food and more than one drink. The food was great and so were the drinks. Unfortunately, the terrible service of our specific server left me with a bad taste in my mouth. We had to wait way longer than we should have to order food and to get the check. Neither of us wanted to stay there for that long. Definitely going to come back again to see if it was an off night though because I loved the vibe and food.

Ocean Prime is such a wonderful experience in fine dining. Trust me! I managed one for years. The atmosphere was wonderful, the service was great, and the food was the best! It was hard to choose from the menu. I went with the Chilean Sea Bass. It was "melt in your mouth". Other dishes served were Lobster and Cheese (excellent per my son), other seafood. I highly recommend this place!

Cute happy hour, nice views of the city and pleasant ambiance. Food was pretty good as were the cocktails. Service was attentive and friendly.
The ambience and vibe are cool and trendy, definitely a great weekend night hang. The drinks are good (still on the winter menu in spring) and the food is tasty. We didn’t really understand adding the tip to the check as it wasn’t stated outright.
Delightful little place on the roof of a historic hotel. We enjoyed ourselves with some nice drinks and good appetizers. Drinks and food were good. Had the elote, fries, and risotto balls. The elote was good but clearly made from frozen corn and served as dip with nothing to dip with. The view and vibe is what makes this place worth visiting and true to other reviews, the sunsets views are remarkable.

This place is a vibe, overlooking the white house while having a cocktail is the perfect ambiance for anyone visiting…mostly tourists so would be perfect for a date spot or a group visiting DC for the weekend. The bartender made some amazing “Cherry Blossom” weekend themed drinks. We enjoyed ourselves very much so.
Had an interesting experience at this bar…

Venue is nice and had a good vibe to it. However the drinks are pretty pricey and they added a mandatory 20% tip. So after buying some drinks, I left a 2 star review on Google mainly because I find 20% tips slightly annoying and sometimes sneaky.

About an hour later a manager came up and slightly confronted me about the review. He wanted to know why I left a two star review and when I told him it was because of the mandatory tip, he offered to buy me a round of drinks to make up for it. To clarify - I did not take the offer.

It was nice for this establishment to reach out and offer me a free drink. I also appreciate the manager coming for honest feedback. This is why I upped my review to three stars.
It's decent, I was just there to watch a sporting event among a group. I didn't order anything to eat myself, but was told that the food prices are on the exorbitant side. The table service was between average & good for among the group and it being busy. It was cool that there are plenty of large screen TV's viewable to accommodate. There was condensation on the ceiling that dripped on me a couple times; while sitting at a table, and while I was standing right before I left.

We came during happy hour after hearing they transformed their rooftop into a ski chalet vibe for the holidays. I haven't been here before so I don't know how it normally looks, but the only "ski" aspect of it was a sign with a couple cities listed and a small backdrop to take photos. The rest was decorated normally with no winter vibe, so first impressions were disappointing.

Luckily we came for happy hour so prices were lower, but if not it seems like a pricey spot. We didn't get any drinks but did try their crab dip and lamb bolitas. Both were good but nothing amazing. We came on a Monday night so it was pretty quiet and service was quick.

It's a good spot to come with a group, but since I was hoping for a holiday pop up I wasn't too impressed.

Beautiful view of the Potomac river.
The rooftop is really nice. We went at night and we could see the Potomac river and the skyscrapers in Virginia.
We took desserts and it was so good ! We had the chocolate soufflé from the famous restaurant just below and it was one of the best cake that I had !! The basque cheesecake was good also but the chocolat soufflé was definitely the star of the show for me.

A very cool rooftop bar just overlooking the marina! The vibes were amazing, staff super friendly and prompt. We were a group of 7 and we just walked in (first come first serve). The views are amazing! They serve a quite good variety of drinks with not so much options of food as it’s not a restaurant, but we had flatbread pizza, marinated olives, ahi tuna salad and they were great. Recommended!

Limited expensive selection. I expected more from a 5 star hotel and especially from Puck. Food, drinks and ambiance. Additionally maybe a minimal dress code would be beneficial. The Graham seems to be the better choice.

Terrible service, terrible experience. We sat for an hour and we’re never served water. They didn’t bring us any menus for 90 minutes. The drinks are dramatically over priced for rail whiskey and tequila - at least $20 a cocktail. To add insult to injury, it took 15 minutes before the bartender even acknowledged me but served the woman who sat down after me. The ambiance inside is incredibly dark and they refuse to turn on the lights even at our parties request - we paid for an entire section in the restaurant. Ridiculous! The absolute WORST part was that the table we were supposed to sit at was left dirty for 45 minutes and they let us stand around, refusing to clean and adjoin the tables for our party. We ended up doing it ourselves! I would not recommend this place to any of my friends. I hate being that guy, I really do, but I honestly feel we were being discriminated against for our race! I wanted us to go to Flavio instead so bad!

The views of the Washington monument are absolutely unparalleled from the booth at the Vue Rooftop. This was my first time at the establishment and I must admit I am quite impressed. The staff and the management were extremely accommodating, even though our demands were somewhat obnoxious. They were willing to open up the private dining area just for the two of us, and let us experience the D.C. skyline at its absolute best. The food was quite delicious. The appetizers in particular were truly scrumptious; “calamari” and “Parmesan fries” are the absolute must, along with the “olives and bread” starter. The must have cocktail for me was the “power to peaches”, divinely smooth and summery fresh. All-in-all, it was a perfect bon-voyage evening before we headed back to NYC. Thanks to the staff and the management for wrapping up our Washington D.C. visit in a ribbon with a luxurious bow on top.

I will start by saying this penthouse bar has a beautiful view of the Potomic River and the Wharf Marina. This alone, and the company I was with made my time at Whiskey Charlie very enjoyable. Although the bar, and view were both lovely there wasn't much space to enjoy the bar. It was a very small conservative area that just happened to be a little loud and crowded during my visit there. It was more open, and less crowded on the patio, but some of the guest were very boisterous, and at moments overwhelming. It had somewhat more of a club feel than a luxury bar experience as far as guest were concerned. I would have loved to have been offered more options in alcohol beverages, and a few more fire pits would have been a nice touch. There were only two fire pits among the guest there. You will definitely be sharing your space, and time with the other people visiting the bar, so your visit there may be more of a social experience than personal time with your partner or guest. FYI: The first pic was taken before other guest had arrived.
Really the only place to spend your summer in DC. Grab a pitcher of skinny lemonade and enjoy the beautiful views!

Went for a drink on a Friday night at 9:30 with two friends. Was told by the hostess that they were at capacity and there was a 15 min wait. We get up there at 9:45 and the bar is almost completely empty. Server doesn't come by until 10 and tells us it's last call and they're closing. Drink menu only has gin and tequila cocktails. Overall a sad experience for such a nice hotel.
Came here for the first time, will not be returning. We sat, and it took almost 20 minutes to be acknowledged. The bartender was also the server. I ordered a MDW cheeseburger... it came out medium. I literally had less than the amount of fries in a McDonald's small fry... for $23. When I made mention of the fries, I was told "The bar back said they're not sending more fries". Fine! So... I ordered a side of fries. I get a McDonald's medium fry for check this out... a whopping $13! Yep... a whole $13! This will not be a return visit. I came. I saw. I'm not interested.
Love this place. Great views and people. Food is pretty good too. However the food options are limited in the sometimes because it is too hot to cook?

Stunning view! They did not have all the Whiskey/ drinks listed on their menu, honestly their selection was much smaller than advertised. The price of their cocktails was surprising as they used very cheap Whiskey / general alcohol. The staff were great, and they helped navigate the lacking menu. There are very few seats, but again, for the view it's worth standing room only!

Went there for a drink with a friend and loved the Cut Above. Artisan cocktails and a good menu. Took great pictures for the full moon while there that night. The only thing is that it’s just a bit overpriced.

This bar in my opinion has one of the top ten rooftops in DC. The view to the wharf waterfront and beyond is amazing. You can catch a nice sunset here. As far as the quality of food and cocktails go, this place serves you something good. The prices however are above average in DMV area.

A staycay get away @Foreverfit_vf
One of the most beautiful pools in DC. Love being able to order food and drinks next to the pool. Chairs are comfy and umbrellas not hard to come by. Definitely recommend checking it out.
Visited as a guest on someone else's membership. The staff were gossiping about other people at the pool (not sure of other staff or members) but it set my mood off for the entire visit. Extremely rude for them to be doing that. Very unprofessional.

Was unable to get in the pool, not enough waitstaff which made service so slow. So waiting for food/water on a hot day where you can't get in the pool was awful

Navy Yard has always been my favorite place to relax and the staff at Penthouse are above and beyond. Super grateful for them.
I went for a birthday party ! The rules are pretty strict. The pool and atmosphere is gorgeous along with the drinks they offer! Gorgeous pool but wouldn’t advise for a birthday party unless your over 40.
I love this sports bar. I came with my husband and 4 friends for the Super Bowl. We usually go to someone’s house for the game. But we tried this place, made some bets and ended up having the best time. Reidun was our server. She was really attentive. So was the bar back. I saw past reviews of people saying staff is terrible, but maybe now that they are a month or two into business, they are getting better. We had a fun time and the energy was good. Lots of people. Will definitely be back.
Great place to come relax and have a good meal, and low calorie alcholic beverage. Excellent views of the Navy Yard area.
Beautiful ambiance. Nice pool. Great service and delicious healthy food.

Nice rooftop bar and lounge with good food and drinks. A pool is accessible for hotel guests.
Food was mediocre. Service was surprisingly good. They even remembered people's names. The pool was okay, definitely did not feel heated. There was no music by the pool area which was weird.
Yes it is great on many levels literally. But cocktails are really inconsistent and service is impersonal. Can be truly great but final touches are missing. Still let's not have the great be the enemy of the good.

We love this place! Life feels just right when we find the time in the day to swim and relax up in the pool and club. The staff is fabulous! Attentive, remembers drinks, welcoming, etc. A very comfortable experience that makes city living all the better.

The pool is very beautiful. Drinks could be a little stronger plus the elevator in the parking garage was broken. (Minus 1 star)
