Castel Beach Club in Nice is pure magic! The ocean water here is the best I’ve ever experienced—crystal clear and refreshing. The service was exceptional, making the whole experience feel like heaven. The setting is absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere is both relaxing and luxurious. A truly unforgettable spot!

Great place to soak up the sea. Service is attentive. Drinks are great. We shared a Caesar salad with chicken. Big big pieces of chicken. Not great ty but not bad either. Love the setting!

A really nice and relaxing experience. We went there for the day and reserved 2 beach lounges ( very comfortable) and stayed there for few hours enjoying the view. It was a very nice experience and staff were really lovely especially Roman who was helpful and had an amazing sense of humour. I would definitely recommend going there if you are in Nice and you want to enjoy a relaxed afternoon by the beach.

Brilliant beach bar, we had booked a bed each in advance, ordered some wine and relaxed under the umbrellas, nice music in the background of a lovely atmosphere. Had lunch overlooking beach, beautiful view and amazing food.

We hosted our post wedding brunch here and the only way I can describe it was flawless.

From the day of enquiry right the way through to the end of the event. Margaux was amazing via email, so quick to respond and made me feel at ease. Any diet requirements or menu changes were granted without hesitation and even on the day we had some last minute changes to the menu which they very quickly accommodated. I cannot recommended this place more, thank you so much for making our day so special, the team are a real credit to you.

If you are questioning hosting an event here don't.

The setting and atmosphere of this beach restaurant are amazing: nothing beats having dinner with friends watching the sun setting over the Mediterranean Sea and listening to the waves gently breaking in the background...

Of course, it helps if the food is excellent and the service is second to none and happily this is the case at Castel Plage.

We started with seabream ceviche and tuna tatare. The ceviche was tangy and had the perfect texture, and the tuna was very flavoursome. For main courses, we had grilled sea bass and octopus fricassé. The sea bass was cooked perfectly, juicy and firm, and the octopus fricassé was delicious.

Our server was attentive and friendly and looked after us very well.

Definitely recommend.

Beautiful beach, comfy sunchairs and large parasols. Little pier makes access to the water easy. However very high prices for a day rental of sunchairs and parasol. Very strict policy on not consuming brought drinks, even water, which is a bit annoying. Beach closes at 19:00.

Had a great day out here with my partner, definitely on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. Comfortable beds (€30) and €7 for a towel. Service was excellent and our server Toby was really attentive and friendly. Food was expensive but great quality, the red lobster linguine was a highlight. Recommend to go for a day but be prepared to spend a couple hundred euros for a couple.

It is definitely an experience that deserves consideration if you are in Nice. The chefs are kind with portions (and we were given half a lobster for free because the one we ordered was smaller than usual). Even though the cost is not unwarranted for the experience (just a little high in general), it is more than justified because of the atmosphere, the decor and the setting at night. It may not be a place where you frequent, but it certainly deserves an evening visit.

You’re playing €30 a bed just to get in, you are squeezed together like sardines, meaning if someone puts up their parasol, you have no choice but to be in the shade. The food is obviously overpriced as they say you are forbidden to leave otherwise you can’t come back in, even though they don’t cater for all dietary requirements.

Food was bang average and of low quality, something you expect to be amazing for the price.

Service is good until you stop buying food/drinks and order tap water, unless you want to pay €10 for a water. All in all, place is a rip off so you’re better off buying chairs and a parasol to lay on the beach, would not got back.

We reserved chairs and an umbrella for a day while visiting Nice. We had a Wonderful time at this beach club. The chairs were super comfy with thick chair cushions which made lounging on the beach really nice. The food options on the menu were great and loved the fruit platter! It was family friendly, great service and we had a really great time. I loved that you could reserve chairs ahead of time since some of the beach clubs you could not. This made it very convenient for us when planning our trip to be able to guarantee a spot.

Lovely place. Could do with more servers for the beds and I think some smaller lunch options would be a good option.

We bought sea shoes and they were amazing for getting in/out quickly compared to others struggling on the large stones. It also gets deep very quickly so if you're not confident in water, just consider this.

We had a meal in the casual dining section. The Caesar salad was great although the chicken looks more crispy than it is. Aperol was an aperol so did not disappoint. Price for the Caesar and aperol was about €40.
The staff are not very welcoming.

The food is nothing to write home about, but perfectly acceptable. The staff however is so welcoming and attentive and someone is always available and ready to help you. Patrick was my server and so nice not only to me but also others that I observed.

I visited Ruhl Plage three times while I was in Nice and couldn't get enough! The food is outstanding, great selection of seafood and meat dishes, big portions and very tasty food. They also have a great selection of wine, cocktails and non alcoholic drink. We were lucky that they have live Jaz music band on one of the evenings which made my experience even better.
They also have sunbeds that you can hire for the day, it can get busy so worth booking it in advance. The facilities are very clean.

A good place for the beach and of course eat. The restaurant usually opens at 12 p.m. lunch was wonderful with good service. Prices are reasonable for Nice you can even resent a sunbed for the beach that costs around 30 € a day. The food is mainly seafood and very good.
