AVOID! After going here for many months, I was told I have a myriad of problems that needed to be fixed, but I have confirmation from another dentist that none of them are issues I actually have. First, I was told I needed a root canal. I set up a payment plan but I left before I ever went through because of how unprofessional they were and my gut instinct that they were not telling me the truth and rushing when doing my fillings. My new dentist confirmed that I do not need a root canal. Second, I was told I needed a $500 mouth-gaurd for clenching my teeth that insurance doesn't cover. I was unable to afford and told the dentist, he told me that I was going to ruin my teeth and started to be sassy with me... I asked my new dentist and he told me there was no reason I would need that and I had no signs of clenching or grinding. Upon further looking at their reviews, it shows they tell a lot of people this and all I can think is this is a MONEYGRAB! I also had a filling done, a bit later I was flossing with a stick flosser and it got stuck in the filling and pulled it out. I returned to get it "fixed" and told me it was my fault because I shouldn't be using the stick flossers when I was never told that either. The "fix" they did was TERRIBLE and RUSHED! The dentist kept shaping it and grinding it down but it never fit my tooth right so he took a lot of it off. After the local anesthesia wore off, I realized it was super sensitive and I called to make an appointment to get it fixed AGAIN and they said they would call back and did not. I finally made an appointment to return and had to wait for over and hour "for the dentist to get there". Over an hour later I asked when I would be seen and they told me I had to reschedule because the dentist was leaving. Upon my confusion, and of course being upset and annoyed by this, the bald male receptionist yelled at me in the lobby. When my new dentist looked at this filling he was appalled at how badly shaped it was and just how poorly it was done. He was able to also point out dark spots that indicated decay and bad cohesion as a result of a shoddy filling. Happy to report my new dentist has completely fixed the sensitivity and actually cares for his patients and not their money!

I wish I had never given them my money and I sincerely hope you will not. They do not care about you or your teeth. All they want is to take as much money from you as possible and make you feel bad. I will also be writing to my dental insurance to ask them to remove them from their database because this is completely absurd.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. This is my second review for them because I have all the confirmation I need to know that they were lying to me. I had made it clear also my nervousness at the dentist and this has only made it worse. I cannot believe how utterly terrible this experience was.

I have been getting my dental care at Smile Solutions since Dr. Ritter opened his office more then 7+ years ago. I can say with full confidence since he has opened the office he has pushed himself to provide the best care for his patients. From staying up to date with technology, upgrading his office to create an exceptional experience for his patients, to practicing excellence in dentistry-he is the golden standard in dentistry.

Dr. Ritter and his staff are incredible. If you are looking for a dental team-Smile Solution of Baltimore won't disappoint!

Dr. Boshra’s bedside manner could use some work.
I was only able to speak to him for a few minutes and it felt like he couldn’t be bothered to listen to my concerns.

This is in stark contrast with his lovely and competent staff. The dental hygienist who performed my cleaning was thorough and had a warm personality.

Dr. Boshra was cold and seemed detached. The last thing anyone wants is a doctor that lacks empathy.

No one looks forward to having a tooth extracted and a bridge built. That said, Dr. Ritter and his team at Smile Solutions, made the experience as comfortable as possible. Explanations of the two visit procedure were clear and thorough. Dr. Ritter called to follow up after each visit. And, I have to admit, the new tooth looks better and improves my smile. On a second note, I am loyal to this practice over many years because I think Sue Calder is the best hygienist. Thus, all around, I recommend Smile Solutions.

I had quite a few teeth removed and replaced with a denture and a partial. My longest wait time at my appointments was about 10 minutes. They were pleasant, efficient, effective, careful, and concerned for my comfort. I would recommend them to any and every person needing dental care.

I am extremely terrified of Dentist. Dr. Andrews and his staff are absolutely Amazing!. I had allow years to go by without going to the dentist because of my fear. But Baltimore City Dental helped and guided me during this stressful process. Dr. Andrews is kind, awesome and the best. Thank you so much.

Had an emergency. They were able to get me in the same day. Very Pleasant and Professional. They also called the next day to follow up with me to make sure I wasn’t in any pain. The Most Awesome Dental experience I have ever had, because I HATE GOING TO THE DENTIST! But one thing is for sure. I am now a regular patient!

I had a root canal done by Dr. Kim. Honestly, this was the best dental experience I've ever had. I was super nervous in the beginning, but Dr. Kim was so gentle and patient with me that it really made me feel conformable and it was totally painless. The staff is really nice and the vibe of the office just feels positive and upbeat. I'm very happy and I defiantly recommend this office.

So thankful that I was able to see Dr M in emergency situation. Didn’t have to to wait at all. Receptionist was very professional. Technician Amber was very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr M was of course the best. She took time to explain what’s going with my teeth and very friendly and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend anyone just like my son and daughter in law recommended DRM to me.

Really wonderful - had an emergency come up and they were able to get me in on the Monday after it happened (occurred over the weekend). Dr. M is sweet, really wonderful, calming and comforting. Her staff is amazing - from the front desk to the hygienists and everyone in between. Am actually looking forward to going back there as I continue my treatment plan.

The staff and doctors are friendly, caring, and professional at Smile Rotunda. I always feel that I am in good hands and have a pleasant stress-free experience there, and my dental health is their top priority.

I had a small filling done yesterday, Dr Koby continues Dr Shepley’s tradition of gentle, excellent work, and does so very quickly. Here’s to another 30 years at Baltimore’s best dentist!

First, Cassie sent me a text to say she could see me earlier if I was available! That was a first!!

Cassie was terrific. Friendly and professional. Put me at ease immediately. Then Dr. M came in for the exam and again, treated me with compassion and kindness. She explained everything to me and waited if I had any questions.
This was one of the best experiences I have had at a dental practice.
I can’t thank them enough.

I had a really good experience here and highly recommend this Dental Group over all others I have visited. They were extremely understanding and walked me through my specific plan step by step. I was really happy with their pricing and the recommended follow-ups especially as compared to other dentists in the area. Emily did a great job cleaning my teeth and was very nice even though I'm sure I'm a tough patient.

I really liked my hygenist. However, I was a little concerned that she did not seem to know anything about my health history, especially pemphigoid - she had to look it up and my medication, Dapsone.

I’ve previously had great experiences at Baltimore City Dental. However, the last two appointments they have been late to see me. My last session started 40 minutes late, and today I was not seen even an hour and ten minutes into my appointment time. Not sure how long it would have taken if I stayed past 70 minutes. The staff is nice and the actually cleaning is great, however I cannot recommend this office. Maybe I just came on two really bad days.

Dr. Jesse Ritter has built a “dream team” of professionals that truly care about your dental health, and are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure you have a positive experience during your visit. Lis and Lacey at the front desk are organized, welcoming, and delightful to work with. The hygiene department is highly experienced and comforting to every patient. The tandem of Dr. Ritter and Mykela, his assistant, are educational, efficient, and overall phenomenal. To be completely fair, 5 stars isn’t enough.

Although my mouth is still in some minor and uncomfortable pain after a deep filled filling! I am pleased with the dental office work. The dentist and assistance are so professional, courteous and have great customer service. I can honestly tell that the patient health is at their greatest interest. They explained each step along the way and they try to make the visit the least painful as possible. Thanks! It was my second visit and I'll be returning!

Dr. M and her staff are so incredibly kind, compassionate, and take their time with each patient. I truly felt like I could ask all the questions I needed to feel really comfortable. Scheduling an appointment was so easy with them and I was actually able to get in that same week! So thankful I found this practice and that my family will be able to come here moving forward..

Our son had his lip and tongue tie revised and we are so happy with the results. They provided outstanding care. The entire staff was amazing and so warm. We are so thankful our lactation consultant recommended them!

I highly recommend Dr. Dawn Merguerian and her staff, especially the hygienist, Cassie. The office is warm, welcoming & the staff is well trained and eager to be helpful. They are equally professional and considerate - it is clear Dr. M cares deeply about her patient relationships. All of my questions are always answered thoughtfully - from concerns about my teeth to billing to scheduling. It is also a beautiful and conveniently located office in Federal Hill. This is a successful woman owned business and it shows.

In my younger years, I had a lot of work done on my teeth to correct my bite and et cetera. Regrettably, it is not something that I kept up with in my adult years. When an inevitable tooth ache ensued, Liz was there to get me the immediate appointment that I needed and set me up with payment options NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I'm a person that has not built my credit, but her trust put me at so much ease. My hygienist, Chrissy, is fantastic. Dr. Ritter is even engaging during most visits. Are you more of an introvert? Fine. You can zone-out watching the television on the ceiling. They will take good care of you. In the three months that I have been a client, my mouth has never felt better! I highly recommend this dental practice.

Wonderful practice. I had to go for an emergency visit as a new patient, they helped fit me in and save me from severe tooth pain and swelling with only days to spare before my wedding. Dr. O'Connor and the entire staff were super helpful and friendly. My root canal was procedure was a breeze, was painless and I'm back to normal the next day!

I have always had anxiety when I’m at the dentist. It immediately starts subsiding as soon as I walk into Waterfront Dental because of the tranquil atmosphere and friendly front desk staff.

Dr. Merguerian makes me feel very comfortable. She really listens to any concerns I may have and her education is easily understood. I have had cleanings, X-rays, fillings, and most recently a crown placed.

Even down to receiving numbing medication, the dental assistant would repeatedly tap my shoulder to have me focus on that, while Dr. M uses a fantastic injecting technique which makes the needle feel like just a slight pinch/pressure.

I LOVE that they allow you to listen to music if needed (either your own or they have headphones to use).

The office is very clean and I like that I’m able to see the sterile equipment still in the packaging while I’m in the room until it’s ready to be used.

The front desk staff are extremely prompt with getting back to you if you leave a voicemail. I also love the security feature of them buzzing the door open to get inside the office.

I sometimes have weird hours with work so it’s great that they have varied hours throughout Mon - Thurs.

Had a 3 hour dental appointment yesterday. Felt relaxed knowing I was in the good hands of a friendly capable office. Minimal discomfort last evening and pain free today!

A horrific dental experience. The dental hygienist focus on selling unnecessary cosmetic procedures/equipment. The billing department has incorrectly submitted forms to my insurance causing low reimbursement rates that i had to spend time to get corrected. Their billing staff is also condescending and refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes. I would highly advise against going to smile solutions.

I recently switched to Waterfront Dental and am so happy I did. The location is beautiful and easy to access and the office is clean, inviting with many amenities offered to make you feel comfortable. It was the most thorough dental exam abd x-rays I've ever had! Dr. M is so knowledgeable. All of the equipment/tools seemed so new and up to date. I'm so happy with my decision and know mouth will be taken care of!

The dental group said they replaced my dentures 4 times free of charged. That is not true. They admitted that my dentures were set incorrectly and because of the metal that is in the bottom dentures when I chew it's hitting the wrong way. This is what they told me. So you would think that they would have fixed the problem but they didn't. I still have the same bottom and they replaced the top very thin and light. This is the worse experience ever.

Best dentist I’ve been to and look forward to my appointments each time. Everyone who works there is so positive and kind. The exams and cleanings I have are thorough and I can tell they care about quality— it feels as though my teeth are truly their highest priority. Also huge plus is that it’s also women owned and run!
