I had the pleasure of seeing KAREN WANG and I can confidently say she is one of the best dentists I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely at ease with her gentle demeanor and kind approach. She took the time to explain everything clearly, which helped ease any anxiety I had. Not only is she efficient, but her skill with her hands is impressive – the procedure I had done was smooth, quick, and completely pain free. I left the office feeling confident and well-cared for. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a compassionate and skilled dentist!

I have been coming to this dental office for over 2+ years now and I just love it! A friend recommended it to me and I'm so happy she did. The staff is incredible- they are kind, welcoming, and caring. I also love that they are open on Saturday's, which is incredibly helpful for a busy work schedule. I have recently been seeing Kristen on Saturday's and she is just a gem! She is lovely to talk with and always gives me truthful advice on how to best protect my teeth. At one point, the office had to reschedule one of my appointments- they told me well in advance and at my next appointment provided me with a gift card to apologize for the inconvenience! I thought it was a very thoughtful touch. The office itself is very clean and organized. Highly recommend if you're looking for a dentist!

This was my first time visiting and it was the nicest, gentlest experience. My hygienist was very personable and kind and had the lightest touch ever. And Dr. Vanderpool was very thorough and great overall as well! The offices are centrally located and clean. Front desk staff were very friendly. Good vibes all around and I’m glad I found them.

was visiting Seattle for the weekend and all of a sudden had an unbearable toothache even though my flight was the next day. could not wait any longer for my next appointment in IL, therefore I called and asked if they had availability for a check up. they gladly took me in and carefully listened to my concerns. turns out i needed a root canal for the tooth. Dr. Vanderpool and her assistant did the procedure and gave me a summary of what was happening. Felt super welcomed during the whole thing and even gave me a blanket during my procedure because I was chilly. She wrote down a summary to say my dentist as well. Extremely helpful staff/ knowledgable dentist.

Wanted to give a big thank you to the folks here at Innovative Dentistry - usually the dentist is a "necessary evil," but with Innovative Dentistry, I actually look forward to each visit! Every staff member has been kind and professional, not to mention very communicative. They take the time to explain everything from a specific line item cost to each procedure.

I've also learned a ton about how my teeth affect my overall health, which is one thing I didn't expect but now realize makes a huge difference: how everyone is so passionate and willing to share and teach about what they know.

i was hesitant to leave a review but after reading other reviews I must share as well when I went to innovative dentistry they administered anesthetics without telling me they were doing so. I sat in the chair for what I thought was a consultation and all of a sudden I had a needle in my gums. I was horrified and when I let the dentist know I wasn’t aware this was happening her only response was “oh really?” On top of this they told me a tooth of mine was rotting from the inside out. when I got multiple other dentists to check on this, they were confused as the tooth was not rotting. the fear mongering to spend money with them is real.

Karen Wang is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. She’s thorough, efficient, and I’m so happy with the work she’s done for me. I would trust her with my family and friends. Can’t say enough positive things about her. Stop going to a subpar dentist and come here!!!

I had a deeply disappointing experience at this dental office. I visited DR. KAREN WANG for fillings on August 20th, and during the procedure, she administered multiple anesthesia injections. It was noticeably more painful than usual, making me suspect I had received more injections than necessary. After the filling, the gum around the treated tooth and the tooth above it became sore, with a white septum that occasionally bled. The pain seemed directly related to the fillings. I’ve had multiple fillings done in the past, and I’ve never experienced an infection like this before. I hoped it would subside on its own, but when it didn’t, I sent several emails requesting a follow-up appointment.

When they finally scheduled me, the doctor brushed off my concerns, suggesting the pain was due to the proximity of my wisdom tooth and that the gums were likely touching it. Despite brushing and flossing diligently, the pain persisted, and I experienced bleeding during flossing. Later, I developed a fever of 101.5°F. When I informed the office, instead of offering help, they advised me to see my PCP, dismissing any connection between the fever and my sore gums. Their reasoning was that because I could still open my mouth, the fever couldn’t be related to a dental issue. My PCP, who knows my medical history, suggested that the fever was likely due to a dental infection. The dentist's office has since been unresponsive and unwilling to assist further.

Adding to my frustration, I had previously shared a panoramic X-ray of my wisdom tooth, which was slightly outdated but still accurate since there had been no changes in my mouth. However, Dr. Simran Sharma insisted on taking a new X-ray, citing concerns about potential lawsuits if they didn’t perform a new evaluation, claiming "mouth structures change." They later informed me that I would need to see a different specialist for a wisdom tooth extraction because my case was deemed "complicated." If their doctors aren’t experienced enough to handle a simple wisdom tooth extraction, why did they insist on taking a new panoramic X-ray in the first place?

This practice seems more focused on making money than providing quality care. They charged extra for procedures like laser cleaning during a routine cleaning, something I've never encountered at other dentists. Stay away from these unskilled, money-minded people, whose sole purpose seems to be making as much money as possible by doing a terrible job.

Such a great place. I’ve been coming here for three years now and Dr. Sauvage is amazing. Takes great care of you. The front desk is also super caring and Sean is my hygienist. I highly highly recommend this place. Thank you for being so amazing Downtown Seattle Dentists!!

What a great experience. I’ve been in Washington for 6 years and this was my best dental experience probably in my entire life. My hygienist was amazing and so was Dr. Savage. Great front desk customer device from front desk clerk. Overall great experience ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Best experience I’ve had at a dentist! The front desk was so nice and greeted me kindly. The dentist and hygienist were very thorough and took their time. I will definitely be rescheduling!

Disappointing facility! I've been visiting this medical office for over 2 years, mostly because I've been ignorant and busy and never prioritized looking for a good dental care facility. The hygienists are smooth talkers and will do all the work here during your dental visit while the dentist will only show up for a few minutes at the end of your visit doing menial cleaning for formality (and of course for insurance purposes). The team together will try their best to sell you Invasalign, or electric toothbrush if neither sticks then the water flossers. The doctors keep changing and they never remain the same, so each time you visit they would just have your case notes and X rays, but no context of your real issues. For my last visit, the front desk guy Jack, royally messed up my billing and made me drastically over pay (which I finally noticed). I checked with my insurance provider to see that I was covered at 100% for the most part and on reaching out to the office, they simply apologized and refunded my money back.
Wouldn't recommend this place at all, rather spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Went in for an emergency crown reattachment 3 years ago after my normal dentist was inexplicably absent. Saw Dr. Sauvage, got great service, great advice, and decided to switch to this place as my new primary dentist.

They've been great every time I needed to get in quickly (had an urgent tooth pain issue that turned into a root canal), and I like that the dentists and orthodontists don't rotate all the time; finding a good dentist is really difficult.

Best dental office I’ve been to! They were able to get me in right away after I chipped a tooth. The staff is so friendly and Dr. Popek fixed my tooth perfectly and without pain. I was so relieved to see the tooth back to normal and without any discoloration. 10/10

Dr. Le-Barnes and her assistant Winter were absolutely incredible! I'm normally very anxious in dental offices but both of them were very kind and compassionate while being extremely professional. I highly recommend seeing them for any dental needs!

Everyone was super nice, but i came in for my wisdom teeth pain and wanted to get an idea on cost to have these removed. They checked my teeth and gave me some helpful information, and did a bunch of x-rays. At the end I was told the x-rays they did were not sufficient or the right type of x-ray for wisdom teeth, and I would have to come back and speak to a specialist for more x-rays. This would be out of pocket because they already billed for a useless to me set of X-rays and insurance wouldn’t cover a 2nd set. Instead they quoted me on everything else but what came in for, and said I would have to come back for my wisdom teeth when the specialist is available. This felt overall misleading and more of a money grab, or at the least a lack of communication on what I should expect from this visit until the very end.

Was having pain associated with jaw surgery from a different dental office & I called Downtown on Westlake @ 8 am & was able to see a dentist @ 10 am that same day. Was diagnosed with infection, everything was explained clearly for next steps & out the door by 10:45 am & able to pick up my prescription on my way home. Professional, friendly, courteous everything you could ask for! That’s why I love Downtown Dental on Westlake. That’s why I’m a loyal customer of that office & the people that work there. Sharon went so far as to text my periodontist what was going on so he is prepared when I see him in 2 days to hopefully get my stitches removed.

They were amazing. I got it getting ready to go on a cruise… They got me on the next morning first thing and treated me… staff very friendly. Sharron was assistant. Great. Dr . Vanderpool is who we saw. Awesome. You won’t go wrong with them

I've been a patient here for 3 years. My doctors were Dr. Paul and assistant Dr. Joe. Both of them did a great job every time I needed dental care. This has been the best experience I ever had with a dentist (no complains at all). The staff is amazing and responsive.

The clinic is clean and safe (no homelessness in that area). I highly recommend getting dental services from here.

I have been at this dentist for almost 3 years. They are very thorough with the cleanings and do more care than some other dentists, like keeping careful measure of the gum pockets. In particular, Shawn the hygienist has been so lovely. I got my first cavity filled recently, which was scary for me. She made sure I felt comfortable and kept me calm the whole time. They even topically numb your gums before you get the shot to fully numb your mouth. Following the filling, I needed a bite adjustment for the cavity filling. They were able to see me within 24 hours of calling. Shawn and Dr. Waind were just as kind, and got everything fixed in <1 hour. I am thankful to have a dentist office that is so easy to schedule with and takes such good care of me!

I had my first visit this morning and the staff was exceptional. The ambiance of the office put me at ease, as it’s very modern and clean. I have a lot of anxiety around the dentist, and they were exceedingly kind and understand. They explained everything thoroughly before it happened, offered to make any changes to make me more comfortable, and did not make me feel bad at all about my dental hygiene. All in all, I’m not looking forward to going back (due to anxiety) but am very confident I will be in expert and kind hands. 10/10 would recommend this office to anybody with nerves surrounding the dentist.

I’ve been a patient of this practice since 2008 and highly recommend it. Every hygienist I’ve worked with is knowledgeable, friendly, and they encouraged me to be better with my dental health without making me feel horrible. Dr. Waind is super pleasant as well. Extra points because they play fun music, not the boring stuff. Sometimes 80s alternative, sometimes 90s, was impressed to hear Selena this AM.

There’s a reason I drive all the way to Downtown Seattle for them. I’ve tried several throughout and finally got a solid dental place thanks to all the positive reviews on google and Yelp. They aren’t lying.

Service from everyone at the front desk to the Dentist were friendly, caring and on point. Billing and appointment scheduling were efficient and transparent. I also never have to wait long after I check in.

I had a regular check up, deep cleaning done and a crown done here —and it was a world of a difference compared to the other crown I had experienced at several other dental places I went to. The fit was perfect and the care and skill they put into it really showed.

I sent my husband there after being quoted over 3k for a procedure for his teeth from his other dental place to get a second opinion. Good thing I did because they said that wasn’t even necessary and was able to fix it with a diff option. It definitely saved us, and my husband’s experience was also positive. He now understands why I drive all the way there for them lol!

LOCATION: The Medical building is right across from pacific place mall. They reimburse parking if you park in pacific place. So I usually exit Seneca (I come from the South King County) from i5, take a right on 6th ave and after going straight, Pacific Place parking garage will be on the right and the medical building on my left.

There is parking right under their actual medical building, but it is only valet and they don’t reimburse for that. It is however very convenient since the escalator from parking can just take you directly to the 11th floor where their clinic is at. (Convenient if u are running behind lol)

I love this practice! Everyone who works here is super friendly. The staff will provide helpful tips on how to improve your oral health, and it always comes from a compassionate place instead of a judgmental one. The staff genuinely cares about their patients and what they do. I never wait more than a minute or two to get in for a scheduled appointment, so while the waiting room is nice, I never spend any time there. I’ll continue to visit for my dental needs as long as I live in Seattle!

Hadn't gone to the dentist in a really long time, and finally mustered up the courage at the recommendation of a friend who had done the same. She wasn't wrong -- they are stellar here. They weren't at all condescending, were really patient and thoughtful, and they took the time to explain everything to me. I never felt rushed. The cleaning was also the fastest, most thorough, least painful cleaning I have ever had. SO great -- if I had more than two thumbs they would all be way up.

I had a tooth emergency where a back crown fell off. I was only passing through and was going to Vancouver the next day. Knowing it would be really hard to find a dentist in Vancouver, my husband called up a bunch of dentists in Seattle. This one stood out because they were able to squeeze us in and help us around a difficult situation.

The office is located right in the heart of downtown Seattle. Big, bright windows line the lobby and receptionist area. They have fresh magazines in the beautiful waiting area along with coffee and water.

Dr. Ellen re-cemented the crown in less than 10 minutes and was so thoughtful with the procedure. She would tell me what was going to happen next, and kept checking to see I was not in pain.

Kaylee was the assistant to Dr. Ellen who got me all ready with the initial exam and x-rays. With a warm energy and wonderful attitude, I felt blessed to be in their care.

The procedure costed $200, including an X-ray. For the emergency I was in, I was glad to pay and be on the way.

Best dentist around and I’ve known a few. My wife and I have been patients of Dr Nicolini for around 10 years and both of us are 100% satisfied. On my recommendation, my wife left her last dentist for Dr Nicloini (she works downtown), and she is now much happier than before.

The Dr is excellent, the staff friendly, skilled, and accommodating, and the office and equipment cutting edge modern. The office does its' own in-house work on crowns, so no need for multiple visits or long waits. If anything needs to be tweaked (crown-wise), it gets done on the spot!

Tooth cleaning, X-rays, and cavities have all been pain-free and professionally done the first time around. I am not a fan of going to the dentist, but I strongly recommend Rick Nicolini and his entire office.

I first saw Dr. Nicolini 23 years ago and I have been going to his clinic twice a year ever since. I love the staff at his office, as they have always made me feel safe and at home. I trust Dr. Nicolini so much, not only because he is an excellent dentist with amazing technical skill, but also, he treats me with great respect and wants me to be a big part of any dentistry I might get. He does not over treat, but at the same time Dr Nicolini looks carefully at my mouth, asks me questions to find out what is going on, and then gives me the options that I have. I had a couple of crowns over the years, and Dr. Nicolini and his staff made it as painless as possible. I love Doreen, the dentil hygienist, Shawn, one of the assistants, and just everyone who works at Sound Dentistry. MaryEllen, the Office Manager is particularly nice, and patient when I put the wrong appointment in my phone! I have recommended Sound dentistry to many of my friends, and I will continue to do so. I certainly hope Dr. Nicolini never retires, because I never want to see another dentist!

First, to be completely transparent, the Dental Hygienist, Doreen is my mom so I'm a little biased about the quality cleanings I get at Sound Dentistry But even the kid of a dental professional can get a cavity every once in a while.

Dr. Nicolini has been my dentist for about 20 years and in all that time I have never once been afraid to get a cavity drilled or filled. He and his staff constantly ask you how you are doing throughout the procedure as your comfort is key to them. In fact, during my last procedure I was so relaxed I started to tap my toes and fingers to the beat of the music overhead.

I also can't say enough about the quality work their technician John does to create your crown, implant, bleaching trays, etc. It's been just about 10 years since he made my bleaching trays and they still work great!

I have been a patient of Dr. Nicolini's for at least 15 years. I recall being referred to him by a co-worker who knew I hated going to the dentist. I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and knowledgeable they were. I don't have to worry about having unnecessary dental work done. Dr. Nicolini has proven to be very trustworthy with conservative treatment. I have referred him to several people. I continue to be impressed with his and his entire staff's professionalism and quality of care. They are mindful of patient comfort and pain-free care at all times. Very convenient location downtown.
